Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has taken to social media to expose the people bankrolling his female colleagues.

According to Uche, wealthy married men are financing ex-BBNaija housemates and Nollywood actresses.

He advised ladies not to envy or try to be like anyone showing off affluence on social media. According to him, not everything seen on social media is true.

The majority of skit creators, according to Uche, have visited practically all of the hotels.

American rap star, Rick Ross has sent a special salute to the popular Nigerian singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe professionally known as Ayra Starr.

In a video shared on his Instagram page, the Hip Hop act referred to the Mavin signee as a beautiful superstar.

Rick Ross stated that they would ‘celebrate like bosses’ when he returns to Nigeria.

Reality TV star, Uriel Oputa, has lashed out at a troll who said her body is too loose despite all the exercise she has been doing.

The fitness enthusiast had taken to her Instagram page to share a lovely video of herself when the troll made the snide and insensitive remark about her body.

“Upon all the exercises you body is not still firm. You just loose weight but your body too loose”, the troll wrote.

This seemingly infuriated Uriel who fired back at the troll. She shared a screenshot of the comment, and clarified that her body is 100% natural without any surgical enhancement.

Popular Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola professionally known as Portable has resumed his customary social duty of giving back to the streets and helping communities.

He showed his generous side by distributing food to underprivileged children and people of the community while driving his brand-new G-Wagon.

A Nigerian doctor, identified as Ada Ujaligwa, has accused churches of placing women under pressure to marry and bear children.

Ada, in a post shared via her Facebook page, pointed out that pastors make altar call in church for women seeking husbands and the fruit of the womb.

She said this puts only women under pressure to marry and have children as there is no pressure on males to take responsibility.

A middle-aged woman has been thrown into mourning after her son died in a ghastly car accident.

In a heart-wrenching video shared on TikTok, the bereaved mother is seen weeping uncontrollably over the untimely death of her son.

She claimed to have recently gifted him the car with which he had the accident and expressed regret over gifting him the car.

She said her son had crashed his first car, but because she wanted him to be happy, she gifted him another one to drive.

Sadly, the young boy had another accident with the car which claimed his life.

He allegedly tied her legs and raped her at knifepoint before carting away her iPhone 12 Promax, one Samsung S9, one small Nokia phone; two bottles of perfume, two wristwatches, one necklace, an iPhone charger and $10,000.

Cynthia wrote in part,

“The guy is living in the same compound with me…I don’t even know who are my neighbors in this house….so obviously I don’t know him…I was expecting a delivery today….when ever I expect deliveries, my security people bring the goods up for me…so as of 10pm today, 29th of May ,2023…I got a knock, thinking it was my security guys, I opened the door only for me to be slapped and pushed by a guy in a hoodie and in a mask, my heart nearly dropped..This guy beat the hell out of me , for a whole 30-50mins…locked me inside my house….Hit me with the knife 🔪 he came with… tore my clothes from my body I was completely naked, I hit my head on the wall, I was tied down with my hands behind my back,I couldn’t move… he asked for the money in my house, I gave him all, he took my $10,000… 3 of my phones., 1 iPhone,1 Samsung, 1 Nokia torch, 2 of my gold, 1 Rolex watch, my car key,…. All these was still not enough….this bast@rd beat me mercilessly for over 40mins… our house is a 3 story building…. I stay on the last floor (3)…. Following the incident, she reported the case at the nearest police station and the suspect was arrested.

Spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the incident, said detectives were sent to the crime scene and the suspect’s house where some of the stolen items were recovered.

“The police made an arrest this morning around 9.50 am at the Ilasan, area of Lekki, Lagos State. One Cynthia (surname withheld) visited the Ilasan Police Division and reported that she was raped and robbed by one Olumide Oyewole,” the PPRO stated.

Hundeyin added that an investigation was underway and that the case would be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti.

Popular Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, has finally responded to allegations that he physically and verbally abuses his wife Yetunde.

Speculations arose recently suggesting that the Afrobeat singer’s wife, Yetunde, might be a victim of domestic violence after a viral video showed him yelling at her during an altercation with a police officer.

In the video, which circulated online a few weeks ago, Yetunde is seen stepping out of the car in an attempt to calm her husband during the confrontation with the officer on Third Mainland Bridge. However, Seun ordered her back into the car, and she complied without hesitation.

A young lady, identified as Alicia Dannelle, has taken to social media to voice out her frustration after being constantly mistaken for a 17-year-old.

Alicia took to TikTok to share a video that showcased her youthful and radiant appearance, and she doesn’t look a day over 25.

Surprisingly, she revealed that she recently turned 30 but a lot of people think she is still a minor because of her young look.

According to her, people find it hard to believe her real age and argue that she looks like a 17-year-old.

“POV: you just 30 but people think you are 17. Black don’t crack”, she captioned the video.

The clip has since gone viral on the video-sharing platform and sparked mixed reactions from netizens, with many saying she looks younger than her age.

Popular Nollywood actor, Mofe Duncan, has reacted after being called out by a movie producer who accused him of failing to show up on set after being paid for an acting gig.

The producer, identified as BDaniels, had taken to social media to air his displeasure with the movie star on Tuesday, May 30, and demanded a refund from him.

He posted a photo of the actor and wrote,

“Mofe or whatever you call yourself, how can you be paid for a job and don’t show up? Honestly, you all do too much in this industry. You take money from producers and don’t Deliver? I’m really ashamed of you. You were paid for a job from the 26th to the 30th, you asked for the 28th off because of your birthday which was granted to you. How dare you mess up my set Mofe?? How dare you. What happened to other casts waiting for you? What happen to the paid locations, equipments, and others @realchuksnwali I told you before this dude isn’t a good person he has messed up my girlfriend’s setup before and you still went ahead and paid him for my Job.
Refund me my money. What rubbish!!!”.

This public disgrace did not sit well with the 40-year-old actor, who is known for his calm and easy going personality, and he fired back at the producer for accusing him for being incompetent.

He also knocked the producer for calling him out on social media instead of contacting him to complain and hear his explanation.

Speaking further, the infuriated actor said he won’t go to the movie location to finish shooting the movie until the producer tenders a public apology to him.

Video of hotelier, Adedoyin in court after he was sentenced to dəath by han.ging for mur.dər of OAU student

A video has surfaced online showing hotelier Ramon Adedoyin in the Osun State High Court after he was sentenced to death by hanging for the murder of OAU student Timothy Adegoke.

On Tuesday, May 30, Dr. Ramon Adedoyin, owner of Hilton Hotel in Ile Ife, along with two others, was sentenced to death by hanging for the murder of Timothy, which occurred in the hotel in November 2021.

Timothy Adegoke, a former postgraduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, was murdered inside a room at Hilton Hotels Ile-Ife, owned by Dr. Ramon Adedoyin, in November 2021. Adedoyin and six of his workers were arrested and arraigned in connection to the murder.

The court, presided over by Chief Judge of Osun State, Justice Oyebola Adepele Ojo, found Adedoyin and three of his staff guilty of murder and conspiracy.

During the judgement, Justice Ojo stated that the circumstantial evidence available to the court pointed to the unlawful killing of Adegoke, who was a guest at Adedoyin’s hotel.

Justice Ojo mentioned that Adedoyin’s decision not to testify in court did not work in his favor, as the circumstantial evidence had shifted the burden of proof onto him.

She further noted that Adedoyin’s refusal to testify implied his agreement with the murder charge pressed against him by the prosecution, dismissing the alibi provided by his counsel, who claimed that the hotel owner was in Abuja for an extended period around the time of Adegoke’s death.

Justice Ojo, however, discharged and acquitted three of the staff members, Magdalene Chiefuna, Lawrence Oluwole, and Adedeji Adesola. The sentencing of the seventh defendant is scheduled for Wednesday, following pleas from both the prosecution and defense counsels.

According to The Cable, the judge ordered the forfeiture of the hotel and the Hilux bus used to transport the deceased to the dumping ground. Justice Ojo also directed Adedoyin to pay the school fees of Adegoke’s two children.

Timothy Adegoke had stayed at Hilton Hotels and Resorts in Ile-Ife upon his arrival from Abuja on November 5, 2021, in order to be on time for his examination at OAU Distance Learning Centre in Moro, Osun State, on November 6 and 7, 2021.

However, he was declared missing by the police on November 7, 2021 when friends and family members couldn’t reach him.

Later, following a police investigation into the hotel owner, Dr. Rahman Adedoyin, and his workers, Timothy’s body was discovered buried in a grave.

Nollywood actress, Bukola Arugba, has announced her separation from her long-term partner and colleague Damola Olatunji.

In a statement drafted by her lawyers and released on her Instagram page on Tuesday night, May 30, the actress revealed that she and Olatunji are no longer an item.

The statement also clarified that the duo, who have two children (twins) together, were never married to each other.

While they have decided to go their separate ways, Arugba and Damola have agreed to jointly ensure the well-being and welfare of their children.

The couple started dating in 2015, and their relationship is blessed with twins, David and Deborah.

The statement reads,

The actress, a staunch supporter of President Tinubu, took to her Twitter handle to share the letter, explaining her reasons for supporting his candidacy despite the heavy criticisms and backlash she received online.

In the letter, Toyin disclosed that she supported Tinubu because she has personally witnessed his leadership in Lagos and firmly believes that he will perform even better as the President of Nigeria.

A family in Nebraska has surprised their son by mounting a huge billboard with congratulations after he graduated from medical school.

According to the report, the young man who graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in May is the first doctor in the family hence the celebration.

Speaking with “Good Morning America”, the mother of five, Michelle Boyland revealed she came up with the brilliant idea of renting out a billboard after seeing a story on TV.

“I was inspired by that and wanted to do something similar for Ryan. I thought it was an excellent idea to celebrate him.

Everybody knew about it except Ryan. And I told him that I needed to talk to him and we’re going to meet at his older brother’s apartment complex in the parking lot,” Michelle Boyland explained, adding that the parking lot was near where the billboard was located.

“Ryan had tons of questions as usual. ‘Why are we meeting? How come we can’t talk about it right now over the phone?’ I’m like, ‘This is very important. I need to see your face.'”

A young lady has taken to social media to lament her plight after learning that her lover had abandoned her to marry another woman while leaving her with a child.

The girl claims that they had been dating for three years and that she gave birth to his child in December 2022.

She also sold one of her father’s properties to help her boyfriend, who had informed her that he would be traveling abroad, by providing for him with the proceeds from the sale of her father’s property.

But she bemoaned on her Tiktok page how the young man who had claimed to be leaving the nation for brighter pastures had actually married another woman, leaving her to raise the child by herself.

She wrote;

“So I’ve been dating this guy for three years now, been a understanding and supporting girlfriend to him, Fast forward to this year January, he told me he wanted to travel abroad to learn new update according him. Mind you, I had a baby for him December last year.
