Social media commentator,Daniel Regha is of the opinion that popular female Nigerian singers, Tems and Ayra Starr, are still up-and-coming artistes.
Daniel, who is notorious for his controversial takes on celebrity issues, shared this opinion in a recent podcast session hosted by reality TV star, Doyin.
According to him, a musician can either be considered as an ‘upcoming artist’ or a ‘GOAT – Greatest Of All Time”, and both singers have not yet reached the status of being the GOAT.
He said even though Tems has received international recognition and awards, she has not released songs that would have the same relevance even after a decade, like those of Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, and Waje.
On Ayra Star’s music career, Daniel stated that she recycles the same sound and is mostly known for wearing miniskirts and revealing clothes. He added that her latest song ‘Sability’ is the most useless song he has ever heard.
Speaking further, Daniel advised Tems and Ayra Starr to create music with diverse themes that can appeal to a wider range of audience and events, rather than sticking to the same kind of songs.

A young Nigerian couple have died in a ghastly motor accident that occurred in Sokoto State.
The victims were identified as a Nigerian police officer, Anas Bello Bungundu and his wife, Hassana Musa Yusuf.
It was gathered that the accident occurred on Friday, May 5, 2023. His wife died on the spot while Anas was rushed to UDUTH, Sokoto, where he passed away on Tuesday, May 9.
A colleague, ASP Isah Lukman Imam, who confirmed the sad news in a Facebook post on Wednesday, May 10, said the couple who got married last year were on their way to a friend’s wedding when the accident occurred.
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihir rajiun. It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of my brother and friend Anas Bello, fondly known as D.C, and his beloved wife Hassana Musa Yusuf. They were taken from us suddenly and tragically in a car accident while on their way to celebrate the wedding of a friend.
“Anas was a dedicated police officer attached to the Illela Division of the Sokoto State Command, and he was deeply committed to his work. He was also a caring friend and a devoted husband to Hassana, who he married just last year in February. Anas was deeply in love with Hassana, and his devotion to her was evident in everything he did. They were a beautiful couple, and their love for each other was an inspiration to us all. Though their time together was tragically cut short, we take comfort in knowing that they were together in love and in faith until the very end.
“Anas was my course mate in college of agric and animal science Bakura where we obtained our diploma in animal health and production in 2012. We remained close friends over the years, and I always valued his honesty and his willingness to tell me what I needed to hear, even if it was not what I wanted to hear. Despite the distance between us, we stayed connected through our shared experiences and our mutual respect for each other. He was always friendly and approachable, and he had a great sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. Although I was unable to attend his wedding, I know from our conversations that he was deeply in love with Hassana and was looking forward to starting a new chapter in his life with her.
“Anas and Hassana will be greatly missed by their family, friends, and colleagues. We take comfort in knowing that they lived their lives with love, kindness, and dedication to their work and to each other. May their souls rest in peace, and may their memories continue to inspire us all
Allah ya gafarta maku yasa Aljanna ce makomarku damu gaba daya. Amin ya rabbi If you come across this please say a prayer for them. Thank you. ASP Isah Lukman Imam.” He wrote.
Self-acclaimed life coach and writer, Solomon Buchihas taken to Twitter to tackle women who dislike wearing bras in public.
He questioned whether they genuinely feel uncomfortable wearing bras or if they intentionally show off their boobs to attract attention and ‘sell their market’.
Solomon posed this question in reaction to the ongoing discussion on Twitter about women who say they hate wearing bras because they are uncomfortable.
Read his full tweet below,
“Some women say that they don’t wear bras because it’s uncomfortable, but some of these women wear tight waist trainers that leave them gasping for air. They wear dresses with uncomfortable corset,” he wrote.
So, is not wearing bras really about it being uncomfortable or you wanting to be indecent by leaving your boobs bare, with your nipple print visible, because you’re selling your market? The intellectual dishonest is quite clear.
I do not dismiss that some women genuinely find bras uncomfortable, however, any woman who believes in decency will find an alternative. Boob tapes or explore other bra types. Just cover your boobs and your nipples, it is a private part.
Again, a woman who really want to be immodest will always find reasons to be. And a woman who wants to be modest will also find reasons to uphold decency.
All of a sudden our generation is the generation that is encountering all the discomfort the older generation didn’t encounter? How did much older women survive in their time? They wore bras. If not, I’m sure they never flaunted nipples.
The main thing here is lack of shame in this generation. It’s tacky and really tasteless to move around braless, with your boobs almost out and visible nipples.
One day, children will wake up and say they can’t wear clothes again, because it’s uncomfortable, and they’d rather go to school naked. When you challenge them, they’ll scream mental health. It’s a mad generation, and I’m genuinely concerned that Christians are conforming.”

Veteran Nigerian rapper, MI Abaga, and his wife, Eniola Mafe, have opened up about their struggles with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders, characterized by attention difficulty, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness. It often begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood.

Eniola revealed that she had been diagnosed with ADHD since she was 19, and that it had affected her during her school years.
“It’s not something you can just cut out. It’s actually who you are. It’s how you think, accept the world, rejection, and everything.
“It was about realizing that all the things that didn’t seem to make sense about me… it affected me in school. My inability to gather thoughts.” She said.
MI Abaga also shared his experience, saying,“For me, my childhood was just that I loved music. It was tough for me to read in class, probably because I wasn’t paying attention. If I was really interested in something like art, I would excel really well, while my schoolwork was suffering for it.”
He went on to say that he didn’t connect the dots until he was in college and realized that ADHD was a part of his journey in life.
“By the time I went to college, I figured out that the ADHD thing was me and I still couldn’t connect the two dots together. I think the first time that I really got a sense of how much it can control a person was in our relationship, when Eni would explain.
“And I googled it and it was almost like a weight off my shoulder. I can look back at some of those things differently now that it was always going to be part of my journey in life.
“To me, it’s both the thing that has given me so much, because it is where I go to like create, and at the same time, it’s the part of me that I want to understand the most,” he said.

The ‘Soso’ singer made this revelation during a recent interview with H Steph, while speaking on his mental health struggles and how he incorporates his battle with depression into his music.

I mean it will take a real person like me to go there and then make music out of it and talk about it so openly how I’m a mess, how I think and how I’m fcked up and everything.
“I’m not sure you will find afrobeats artists who do that right now. Everybody is out there saying afrobeats are not so deep, ‘afrobeats are just vibes and sh*t’. Nah. That’s why everybody is just doing hype. The real music is dying.”

Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola has opened up on his relationship with businessman, Tony Elumelu, and how he betrayed him on two occasions.
The oil mogul shared details of how Tony Elumelu stabbed him in the back in a statement released recently amid his recent scramble for the ownership of Transcorp with the Heirs Holding Chairman.
Femi spoke extensively about his Transcorp shares deal and why he offered to buy the company for N250 million, which was turned down.
Read his full statement below…
“In 2005, while Tony was the Managing Director of Standard Trust Bank he approached me to get funds to acquire UBA. I enthusiastically gave him $20million, which was N2 billion at that time to buy the necessary shares in UBA for the acquisition. After a short period of time the share price moved up and I decided it is was a good moment to sell and get out of the bank. However, Tony appealed to me to hold on to the shares as he was convinced that there were future prospects – so I kept the shares.
I became Chairman of Transcorp Hotel in 2007 with a shareholding of 5% and unknowingly Tony gradually started buying shares quietly.
By the following year in 2008 I went bankrupt in Nigeria. Tony proceeded to take my shares in UBA to service the interest on my loans and he also took over my shares in Africa Finance Corporation, where I was the largest shareholder.
Shortly after, Albert Okumagba informed me that an American firm wanted to acquire my shares in Transcorp, which I then agreed to sell. However, this supposed American firm turned out to be Tony Elumelu. The revelation of this prompted me to resign as Chairman of the hotel.
Years later in 2012 Tony said he wanted to see me so we met in my office where I had previously had a meeting with foreign investors who had not yet departed the premises. Curious to know, he asked what sort of meeting I had had and I disclosed that I wanted to go into the power business, specifically Ughelli Power Plant. Tony quietly went ahead to bid for Ughelli and he outbidded me by offering to buy the plant for $300m.
And as a some would say: the rest is history.
Fast forward to the present..
I offered to buy Transcorp Plc for N250 billion, but unfortunately, my offer was rejected. My goal was to maximize the company’s potential as a Nigerian conglomerate with a market cap of at least N2 trillion instead of the current N40 billion, but it seems some shareholders have a different vision.
As a businessman, I believe in healthy competition and market dynamics. Two captains cannot man a ship, and I respect the majority shareholder’s decision to buy me out. This is the nature of the game.
But let me be clear: my offer was made with the best intentions for Transcorp Plc and its shareholders. I saw an opportunity to unlock the company’s full potential and create value for everyone involved.
It’s important for investors to understand that free entry and free exit are crucial to healthy markets. The scramble for shares after my acquisition is a testament to the value that Transcorp Plc can offer, and I hope the company continues to thrive under new leadership.
My message to Transcorp Plc and its shareholders is this: I remain committed to the growth and success of Nigerian businesses, and I will always be looking for ways to create value for all stakeholders. Stakeholders are unfortunately always shortchanged by getting stipends while the owners and managers of the business live a jet set lifestyle, which is detrimental to the stakeholders. Thank you for the opportunity to engage in this exciting chapter of Transcorp’s history.

A 23-year-old woman on Tuesday told an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court in Lagos, how a popular Lagos-based Bishop, Daniel Oluwafeyiropo, allegedly sexually abused her twice.
Bishop Daniel, the founder of I Reign Christian Ministry is standing trial on an amended three-count charge bordering on rape and sexual assault, to which he pleaded not guilty.
He was alleged to have committed the offence sometimes in June 2020 at Flat 4, Road 2, House 18 Ikota Villa Estate, Lekki, Lagos.
The 23-year-old woman (name withheld), who is an assistant pastor at his church, testified for the prosecution at the bishop’s trial on Tuesday, May 9th.
She told Justice Ramon Oshodi that she was abused twice by the Bishop in his residence.
The witness said she knew the bishop on May 28, 2018, when her friend invited her to a church programme where the bishop ministered at Akungba, Akoko, Ondo State.
She said she became member of the church in Akungba and rose to the position of assistant pastor.
She told the court that the Bishop, she regarded as her spiritual father abused her sexually at his residence on Flat 4, Road 2, House 18 at Ikota Villa Estate, Lekki, Lagos on June 21, 2020.
Recounting the incident, she said,
“I was listening to Pastor Chris’ message when bishop came to the three-seater sofa, I was sitting on. He told me to go naked for the third time, but due to the fear of what happened a day before, I went naked. The bishop locked the door, increased the volume of the television and he went naked too.
“He squeezed and pinned me to the chair and sexually abused me. He was bigger than me, so I was bleeding from my private part. I pleaded with him, but he did not listen.
“When I told him of the bleeding, he said he knew that I should shut up. He then directed me to go and wash up. He collected my phone and cleaned the blood before I came out of the bedroom. He threatened that if I tell anybody, I will run mad. So, I was in the guest room till the following day.
“On June 22, I sent a message to pastor Boluwatishe and told him through a WhatsApp code, which we usually chat, that I had been violated.”
She continued that Bishop did not allow her go out of the house after the first alleged sexual encounter with him.
“He sent the gateman instead anytime I needed anything. It was at this time that it was dawn on me that this man is a rapist. So, for my safety, I was acting stupid and acted like I did not tell anyone.
“I was in the room when he came to me again and said he wanted to have sex but I refused. He was very angry, so I told him I had bruises on my private part from the previous sexual violation.
“I was coming out from the room to the kitchen, on June 23, when he came out of his room too, wrapping a towel and said he wanted to have sex with me. He said I should count it as a privilege that he violated me because many people would love to have sex with him, but I told him I have someone I am dating that he is not attracted to me.
“In the living room on that same morning of June 23, he took off my dress and raped me again. He told me I would die if I told anyone. I bled the second time because of the forceful entry.” She added.
She further testified that the Bishop had earlier made a phone call to her on June 5, 2020, asking her and some other pastors to come to his house in Lagos.
“On June 19, when I got to the house, the Bishop came out from the room, saying that I have a query to answer. He said the punishment for me was to transcribe his message titled, ‘Fulfilling my Ministry.’
“The following day on June 20, only the Bishop and I were left in the house after others pastors had left. He told me to go on a three-hour prayer work around the estate, but I came back home 30 minutes prior to the elapse of the prayer hours due to a heavy downpour.
“So, he queried why I came back to the house earlier. I told him it was due to the heavy downpour. When I entered the guest room where I used to sleep, I met one Sister Jummy, who was also a church member. She was about taking her leave when I came inside the room.
“I was seated on the couch that same day, listening to pastor Chris message when the Bishop walked up to me from the dining section and made comments on the teaching I was listening to.
“He ordered me to go naked again, which I did for the fear of what had happened prior because the bishop accused me of not being submissive and loyal to him as my spiritual father.
“He said he wanted to know my loyalty and see if I have finally submitted to him. I told him I could do anything for him but sex. He tried kissing me and I stopped him, then he slapped me.
“His eyes turned literal red, he was shouting, and I was already in tears as the slap was a very hot one. He started telling me how he had thought me about honour and said that an angel came to him a night before and urged him to ask me to go naked.” She said.
She said the Bishop told her that an angel was going to test her to go naked and that she needed to prove the angel wrong by fully submitting to him.
“He said he liked his wife so much that he could never have sex with me. He was in tears and said that I could not submit to him. So, he ordered me to put on my clothes. I started begging him, but he said that I had disappointed him.”
She further told the court that after the Bishop allegedly had sex with her the second time, he came back begging her.
She also told the court that the Bishop sent her the sum of N5,000 while he was in Ghana to treat herself after the bruises she sustained turned to boils, and she could no longer urinate.

Media personality, Uncle Nasco has reacted to the level of criticism Judy Austin has been receiving over a video she shared online.

A well known polygamous man who still went through the right corners to get married to Regina before impregnating her

His wife had to find out on social media like we all found out
And they are same?? And should receive the same reactions?? Dumb moving creatures everywhere”
