A Nigerian man and his wife have welcomed a set of twins after 32 years of waiting.

The couple, who have been married for over three decades, recently became parents for the first time with the birth of their twin babies, a boy and a girl.

A Lagos-based photographer shared the good news while sharing photos of the couple and their babies over the weekend.

“What God cannot do does not exist. God bless this beautiful family with a bouncing beautiful twin boy and girl after 32 years of waiting. God is great,” he captioned the post.

In other news, fast-rising Nigerian singer, Morravey has revealed how she was discovered and signed by music executive and DMW boss, Davido.

She shared this in a recent interview with TurnTable Charts. According to her, she posted her cover of a song on social media, and the 30BG boss came across it, liked it, and contacted her for a conversation.

The Port-Harcourt born singer said she was on her bed when she received a text message from Davido, which left her stunned beyond words. She said he praised her vocal abilities and invited her to see him in Lagos.

The DMW’s latest signee, who was featured on Davido’s new album ‘Timeless’, said in part,

“I was practicing to make a cover of a song, [and] my friend was videoing without me knowing. So, weeks later, when we couldn’t post that particular song, he posted that video [the part] where I was not showing in it. When he posted it, it was everywhere.”

An Islamic cleric has taken to social media to show how his ‘eleha’ wife eats in public without removing her face covering.

The man had taken to TikTok to share a video of himself and his niqabi wife going out together to have fun when an inquisitive follower asked how he expects his wife to eat while wearing her veil.

In response to the follower’s curiosity, the man, who went on a double date with his friend and his wife, shared a video of his wife feeding herself by passing her spoon of food under her facial covering.

“Proudly Oko Eleha (husband of a niqabi),” he wrote in the caption.

The video has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some people praising the cleric for having a modest and pious wife, while others condemned the Islamic practice as being oppressive and restrictive.
