She said that she had been saving for a very long period over a number of years and that this year has been difficult for her as a result of losing the money.

With over 5,000 organic followers from the movie page via social channel like instagram, it is interesting to say this is the first time a Nigerian film will organically grow such audience from zero to achieve this height this further shows a strong indicator for a breaking in at the Box office in week 1.
On what to expect from the movie, The Founding Partner of Linar & Shrewd Films, Ilyas Ishaq says, “We are excited that ‘The Bloom Boys” is finally set and market fit for exhibition nationwide after a long time in post-production. From casting a group of seasoned and method actors to ensuring we tell a relatable story that addresses pressing issues within the world of today, I am confident the audience will be thrilled and encourage about the growth we have contributed to the Nollywood market. The movie tells us a story of how enduring, desperate and silent a woman could be while chasing her quest, the story is quite techy, innovative and investment oriented as it cut across so much movie genre you can imagine”
Leading this thrilling drama are emsembled cast like Timini Egbuson, Tobi Bakre, Bolanle Ninalowo, Shaffy Bello, Tina Mba, Gbenga Titiloye, Segun Arinze, The Cute Abiola, Mc Lively Diane Russet, Rotimi Adelegan, Foluke Daramola and a Breaking Act; Fehintola Olukotun.
The Box office in 2023 has shown that Nollywood movies like Funkes Akindele’s Battle On the Battle Street breaks her own Omo Ghetto’s 2021 records with a 650Million gross after a 10 weeks cinemas run, other titles like Brotherhood by Greoh Studios and Ace Actor Femi Adebayo’s King of Thieves and a lineup of forthcoming colossal projects continued to give hope to stakeholders and Nollywood investors on the new grossing margins for an African content.
These successes can be attributed to the quality of story and promotional activities built up for this course. With the marketing activities around The Bloom Boys being the most anticipated movie in 2023 so far, we await the performances ahead of its cinema runs.
From the promotional kits and title arts, one will know that putting up a 14 Nollywood star studded movie inclusive of award winning characters like Bolanle Ninalowo, Mc Lively, Tobi Bakre and Timini Egbuson are really the BOYS to watch out for during the exhibitions in movie thearte.
During this interview, Ifedayo Crude, a founding partner of Linar & Shrewd Films, reveals more about the thrilling drama as he says “We believe our audience would feel irrational, logically impaired by the sequence build up, and intense in emotions maybe sympathetic too as they watch a sweet lady choose a side between her lover and her brother with the tech space.
All hopes are high as we expect a stellar performance in the movie theatre from Tina Mba, Ninalowo, Timini,Tobi Bakre, Gbenga Titiloye, Segun Arinze , Cute Abiola & Mc Lively. A Dutch court has ordered a sperm donor, Jonathan M. who is suspected of being the biological father of over 550 children to cease all further donations.
The mother of one of the purported offspring and a nonprofit safeguarding the rights of donor children have filed lawsuits against him as a result of the recent fertility crisis that has shocked the Netherlands.
Jonathan was revealed to have fathered between 550 and 600 children since he started sperm donation in 2007, despite Dutch professional standards stating that a donor should not father more than 25 children within 12 households.
Judge Thera Hesselink said on Friday, therefore, “prohibits the defendant from donating his semen to new prospective parents after the issuing of this judgement.
With the wish that he was willing to donate semen… advertise his services to prospective parents or join any organisation that establishes contact between prospective parents.
Should he continue with his donations, he would face a 100,000-euro ($110,000) fine for every transgression, as well as additional fines,” the court ruled.
The mother of one of the litigated children, Eva, expressed appreciation to the court for stopping the man’s widespread sperm giving.
“Mass donations have spread like wildfire to other countries. I’m asking the donor to respect our interests and to accept the verdict because our children deserve to be left alone,” she said in a statement.

The same cloth I wore to the visa office. I didn’t even pack my bags or anything. As I landed in London, I knew that AG [Adekunle Gold] was there, I hit up AG like, Bro, come to save me.
“If you look at the pictures from that show, my hair was rough. I didn’t even get a haircut. My trousers was, like, short because that was AG’s cloth. I took clothes from AG.” He said.

Anikulapo which is what people were expecting still broke the record it broke, still number one watched language film next to Squid Game globally. Popular Nollywood thespian, Yetunde Bakare has opined that It’s harder to retain real love after you discover it than to find it in the first place.
In a recent interview with Punch Saturday Beats, she discussed this and gave her views.
She claimed that individuals frequently determine their current relationships in light of their prior experiences, and when anything negative occurs, they quickly retreat in order to maintain their mental stability.
In her words,
“Finding true love is harder than keeping it. It is more complicated nowadays, because a lot of people have had bad experiences and they tend to withdraw easily in order to protect their peace and sanity.
I believe one needs to love, value and discover oneself before thinking of a healthy relationship.”
Speaking on people equating fame to happiness, she stated that it was not true because the rich also cry.
She said;
“That is not totally true, because the rich also cry. If one is a people pleaser, one will have a lot of breakdowns keeping up with fame.
When one is famous, the expectations from the public will be on the high side. People will hardly understand that one is human too.”

The man who goes by the handle @ike_obiora revealed that moving overseas has caused him to miss three major family events, including the funeral of his beloved grandmother who raised him and his two uncles.
According to the man who was reflecting on the disadvantages of relocating abroad, he is concerned that his children will miss out on the joys of bonding with their cousins and extended family.
He concluded by saying traveling out of Nigeria is good but it is costly.
I was raised by my Grandma, she died 3yrs ago & I wasn’t there.
My Uncle died 2021, I wasn’t there. Another of my Uncle just died yesterday, and I won’t be there again.
I haven’t seen some of my nephews since their birth.
At what cost again? ☹️
I don’t even want to start counting important events in the lives of friends and family that I have missed.
To japa is good, no doubt, but at what cost exactly?
Families are separated for live only to reunite again at the burial of their parents, if all will be there.
I grew up bonding with my cousins at Grandma’s house. We will always be there for “Ụka Nne” celebration chanting “Nnem ife dị mma ka mụ ga-emere gị” song after overfeeding on ụkwa and Co. Christmas, New year and Easter celebrations are not left out too.
Now, everything is pointing towards me raising children who will never get to have that familial bonding & relationship with their cousins and other relations. Not because I want to, but because it is what it is.
The very thing that made us who we are, are eroded on daily basis.
Nigeria really needs to work. We can’t continue like this in perpetuity.”
