Award-winning music video director, TG Omori, has revealed why he destroyed his phone, an iPhone 14 worth over a million naira.

TG Omori, born ThankGod Omori Jesam, took to his Instastory to share photos of the badly damaged phone and disclosed that he smashed it because the ‘devil’ lives in it.

According to him, the phone opens him up to temptations because it is filled with nudity and illegal activities.

He wrote,

A 63-year-old Kenyan man, David Zakayo Kalukhana, has revealed why he married eight wives and has seven mistresses.

Mr Kalukhana, who has 107 children with his multiple wives and concubines, married his first wife in 1987 but felt that he needed more wives.

He said he took more wives because he is a genius and believes he is too smart to be managed by one woman.

“A head like mine cannot be managed by one woman. It is like a big sack of maize which has to be divided into smaller parts for ease of movement. I need many wives so that they can manage the amount of brains and ideas in my head. I am too smart for one wife,” Mr. Kalukhana told the Sunday Nation.

On how he provides for his large family, Mr. Kalukhana said he owns a half-arce of land where he grows maize and sugarcane to feed his family. He also does menial jobs, including landscaping activities.

Every month, he buys five bags of maize, which he distributes to his wives to make sure the children do not sleep hungry.

“When I’m not farming, I go out to do menial work, including constructing stone fences around people’s homes. The work is well-paying and it has helped me make some money to keep my family going. They will never sleep hungry as long as I’m alive,” said Mr Kalukhana.

Speaking further, the polygamist said he can marry more young wives if he chooses to.

“When I married my first wife Jesca Asembo in 1987, I felt like she was not up to the task. I have added more but I still have the urge to add more.

“All my children of school going age attend school. I toil daily to raise money to ensure they are in school to get an education for their future.

“I don’t believe in religion. I live my life through my own intervention because I am a genius,” he said

The wives, who are from different age groups, do everything together including cooking, eating and share household chores.

One of his wives, Asembo said she has never felt jealous of her fellow wives.

“I love my husband and that is all that matters. Even if he brings in additional wives, I will not be bothered because I understand him. He is a responsible man and whatever he does is always right because he takes his time to decide on what to do,” said Ms Asembo.

On the other hand, Ms Dorine Kalukhana, the seventh wife, said she used to be jealous when she was newly married but later got used to it.

“Today, there is no jealousy. We all live in harmony and no woman feels jealous of the other. Our man treats us equally,” she said.

Another wife, Ms Ashley Nechesa, said their husband is very responsible and does his best to make his wives and children happy. She also praised his bedroom prowess.

The remains of the National Youth Corps member, Oreoluwa Aina, who lost her life in the freak accident involving a train and a staff bus belonging to the Lagos State Government, have been laid to rest.

The 28-year-old was among the six victims who were confirmed dead in the accident that occurred at the PWD railway line in Shogunle, Ikeja, Lagos State, on Thursday, March 9.

Aina, who was serving with the Curriculum Services Department of the Lagos State Ministry of Education in Alausa, was buried on Saturday at Atan cemetery.

A delegation of the state government led by the Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo, was present at the burial. The State Coordinator of NYSC, Yetunde Baderinwa, and the deceased’s family members were also present.

Meanwhile, The driver of the Lagos State Government staff bus that collided with a moving train in the Ikeja area of the state on Thursday has appealed to the victims of the accident to forgive him.

This comes after one of the survivors of the accident, simply identified as Titilayo, while recounting the events leading up to the collision in a chat with newsmen, said that they begged the bus driver to wait for the train to pass, but he refused.

Sharing his side of what transpired on that fateful day, the driver, who works with the Lagos State Ministry of Transport, blamed the incident on a mechanical fault in the bus.

“It was not my fault. How could I have ignored warning signs? The bus had a mechanical fault. It is a pity this has happened. I beg everyone affected to please forgive me in the name of God.” The Vanguard newspaper quoted him as saying.

Tems, who was nominated in the category of Best Original Song for her contribution as a songwriter on “Lift Me Up,” one of the songs on Marvel’s “Black Panther,” attended the event, which was held at the Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles, US, rocking a quite dramatic white dress with a long train and huge shoulder piece that wrapped around her head.

A Nigerian man, simply identified as Mike, has raised the bar for men after he proposed to his girlfriend with seven engagement rings.

A video currently making the rounds online captured the moment the young man popped the big question to his lover and presented her with seven rings to choose from.

The lady was leading the church in praise and worship when Mike quietly walked up behind her, holding a box containing all the rings.

Using a research study to back his claim, Ashraf stated that couples who live together before marriage have a higher chance of getting divorced.

Popular Nigerian actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, has disclosed that an online vendor conned her out of N750,000.

The Nollywood diva claimed that after paying a seller for some goods, the merchant blocked her a few days later.

In a video that she shared on her Instagram page, Nkechi Blessing raged while pleading with viewers to stay away from paid advertisements on furniture.

She revealed that after speaking with the vendor, who claimed to have the distributor’s bank information, he sent her an account number.

The actress alleged that after speaking with the vendor about her worries, she went ahead and transferred N750k to them. She then allegedly followed up repeatedly, but the recipient claimed not to have gotten the money.

She learned that the individual had blocked her on all of their social media platforms the day she made the video.

Reality TV star, Terseer Waya, better known as Kiddwaya, has reacted to the death of South African Amapiano artist, Costa Titch.

Recall that the 27-year-old reportedly had a seizure and collapsed on stage while performing at the Ultra music concert at Expo Centre in Nasrec, Johannesburg today.

Big Brother Naija star, Ka3na, has called out people fond of begging in the DMs for refusing to do something meaningful to change their circumstances.

Taking to her Instagram story, she revealed that many people were also going through a lot and the difference was that they found solutions to their problems.

According to her, begging in the DM was not a solution; it just keeps them at the mercy of others.

She wrote;

Senator Shehu Sani has taken to social media to share his opinion about the relationship between Governor Wike and Labour party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

He likened the relationship to a guy who is attempting to be cordial with a woman he dumped in an effort to maintain a decent relationship with her.

Recall that during the 2023 presidential race, some Nigerians and LP supporters believed that governor Wike fought against Obi’s interests in favor of Tinubu, a claim that Wike has refuted.

Gov. Wike lauded Obi and referred to him as the “Hero of the 2023 Presidential Election” on Saturday, March 11.

According to Wike, Obi’s choice to run for office altered the course of the 2023 presidential election and his involvement made sure that the North’s hold on power was broken.

South African singer, Costa Titch collapses and dies while performing on stage (video)

Popular South African Amapiano artist, Costa Titch has tragically passed away after collapsing on stage.

The 27-year-old allegedly had a seizure and passed out while singing at the Ultra music performance today, Saturday, March 11, at the Expo Centre in Nasrec, Johannesburg.

The “Big Flexa” crooner had shared a poster on his Instagram page advertising the event just 11 hours ago.

Costa began his career as a dancer in the entertainment business before evolving into a rapper and vocalist.

He recently got signed to Akon’s record label.

Recall that Kieran Forbes who was popularly known as AKA died on February 10 2023, after he was sh0t in Durban by a yet to be identified man.

Sources claim that the rapper was shot dead was shot and killed on Florida Road in Durban, KZN. Some witnesses also say that an altercation broke out before firearms were discharged which led to the rapper’s death.

Both rappers were close friends before they passed away.

In other news, Nollywood actor turned lawmaker, Desmond Elliot, has cleared the air on the construction of a wooden bridge, aka “pako bridge,” for his constituents.

Recall that the lawmaker representing Surulere I Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly came under heavy fire in 2020 after photos of the bridge surfaced online.

He was heavily criticized for building a wooden bridge and public toilets for his constituents.

Speaking in a recent interview on TVC’s popular breakfast show, Your View, Desmond Elliot revealed the idea behind the wooden bridge project.

According to him, he had gone to the area to console a mother who had lost her 13-year-old daughter in a canal.

He said while on their way to Shitta to retrieve the girl’s body, the bridge that crossed the canal was very fragile, and the residents begged him to help them rebuild it.

He disclosed that he donated N800,000 to the community for the bridge, and that they eventually reached out to him and insisted on putting his picture on the bridge to show their gratitude.

Speaking further, Desmond noted that the bridge is no longer in good condition and that he has brought it to the attention of the state government to be repaired.

Nigerian sensational singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, professionally known as Ayra Starr, has expressed the opinion that female artists are not typically held to the same standards as their male counterparts.

The ‘Rush’ crooner shared this known while speaking in a recent interview with Saturday Beats.

In her words;

“I am grateful to the women who came before me, who paved the way. Because of them, I am not dealing with so much. However, there is still that issue of female artistes being scrutinised more than their male colleagues. Female artistes are not held to the same standards as the males.”

A while back, Cynthia Morgan gave up her lifelong dream of winning a Grammy award to become a prophetess.

The artiste recently claimed in a post that she was a prophetess by birth, but her family had always disputed it.

She claimed that growing up in a Jehovah’s Witness household where it was believed that they were no prophets was hard for her.

Cynthia revealed that she ignored her gift until she was 25, and that was when she realized she was going nowhere.

In her words;
