Popular Nigerian singer, Davido’s second baby mama, Amanda, has spoken about co-parenting with the DMW boss.

The mother of one recently held a question and answer session on her Instagram stories where her fans and followers could ask her anything, including personal questions.

A number of fans asked about her daughter Hailey Adeleke’s well-being, and in response, Amanda revealed that she’s slightly unwell.

“She’s good, feeling a little under the weather today”, she replied.

Another fan asked how co-parenting with Nigerian superstar singer, Davido has been so far.

“How’s co-parenting so far?”, the fan asked.

Responding, Amanda admitted that co-parenting with Davido has been a great experience.

“It’s great”, she said.

On how she feels being a mother, Amanda said, “It can be very challenging at times but wouldn’t trade it for anything else in this world”.

Meanwhile, quite a number of social media users are wishing for the level of confidence and security that Nigerian singer, Davido has after an old video of him purchasing a $130,000 customized jewelry emerged online.

At the time of the expensive purchase, the singer’s second daughter, Hailey, whom he had with his second baby mama, Amanda was present and seeing that her dad had a shiny neckpiece on, she wanted to try it for herself.

Davido is then seeing taking off the expensive jewelry and placing it on the neck of a much younger Hailey before revealing the whopping price it was acquired for. The singer is then heard exclaiming to his daughter that “Your daddy is rich! Tell them!”.

Yemi Cregx, a 30-year-old model and content creator from Nigeria, is perceived to be in a love triangle with South African housemates Khosi and Blue Aiva owning to his closeness with the ladies.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Patience Ozokwo has dished out a piece of advice to upcoming actors and actresses in the movie industry.

The 64-year-old actress, who spoke at a candlelight vigil in memory of Africa Movie Academy Awards founder, Peace Anyiam-Osigwe, told her younger colleagues that they don’t need to relocate to Lagos or Abuja to succeed.

She encouraged them to ditch the idea that they must live in either state to gain popularity in Nollywood.

She added that Lagos or Abuja are not the determinant of success, and that they can stay in their states and still become stars.

According to the thespian, some actors and actresses began their careers in the east but moved to the west after becoming famous and forgot their roots.

Using herself as an example, she said, “For me, I said I am going to stay in Enugu, inside the village and when I go to Lagos, I tell them I am a village woman.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to reveal the brilliant way his wife got him to do more chores in the house.

The voice-over artist with handle @MaxOfLagos explained that his wife introduced chore penalties such that anyone who fails to complete their assigned task by the end of the day pays a $20 fine.

He said he noticed that his wife has been slacking on her chores despite being the one who proposed the idea. It then dawned on him that it was her ploy to get him to do more chores, while she paid the fine.

“Wife and I have chore penalties: pay $20 for failing to complete an assigned task on the day. This was her idea, but the overwhelming majority of the breaches have been by her. It has now occurred to me that I’m being paid to be a maid because she doesn’t mind the fines at all ”, he tweeted.

His post was met with mixed reactions as people advised him to increase the fine so his wife won’t have an excuse not to do chores.

In response, he tweeted, “Some of you have asked me to lobby for the fine to be increased. I can barely afford the current one, will you help me pay when I get caught out?”

A Nigerian mother has cried out online after her 2-year-old daughter’s hair was reportedly scraped with incisions at her school in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

According to the mother, she had dropped off her daughter at school earlier that day, but when she returned to pick her up at 4 p.m., she noticed that some of her hair had been scraped.

She also claimed that when she examined the shaved portion of her toddler’s hair, she saw fresh incisions.

She said when she went to the school to demand to know what happened to her daughter’s hair and how the incision came about, the school claimed the CCTV that would have helped unravel the mystery didn’t work on the day of the incident.

Afrobeat artist, Made Kuti has issued a warning after Peter Okoye of P-Square involved him in an ugly quarrel between himself and his uncle, Seun Kuti.

It started when the son of the late great musician, Fela Anikulapo, labeled the former governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi as an ‘Opportunist’.

Taking a shot at Peter Obi, the singer called him an opportunist who switched to the Labour Party after losing in the PDP, adding that he cannot help Nigeria.

Peter Okoye attacked Seun in a Twitter message, stating he is frustrated and has erased his father’s past.

Their arguments were so heated that Peter drew Seun’s family into the conflict, including his father, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, and nephew Made.

A Nigerian mother has shown off the amazing transformation of her son, who was born prematurely.

In a touching video she shared on social media on her son’s first birthday, the woman, who identified herself as Oluwaseun Aj, showed his growth from when he was born until now.

The first part of the video showed her cradling the baby boy, who appeared frail owing to his premature birth.

She said that every day she cried herself to sleep because of how her son looked and was trusting God for a miracle.

Amazingly, the boy was all chubby and had grown into a handsome little boy by the end of the video.

Billionaire business magnate, Bill Gates has found love again with Paula Hurd, the widow of software company CEO Oracle, Mark Hurd, who passed away in 2019.

Gates, 67, and Hurd, 60, were pictured together at the Australian Open last month, sitting side by side as they watched the game.

Media report of their relationship comes almost two years after Gates and his ex-wife, Melinda, announced that their marriage of 27 years was over. Their divorce was subsequently finalized in August 2021.

A source who spoke to Daily Mail said, “It’s widely known that Bill Gates and Paula Hurd are dating, but she hasn’t met his kids yet.”

Gates and his ex-wife, Melinda, 58, had three children together – Jennifer (26), Phoebe (20) and Rory (23).

Nigerian singer, Brymo has berated his colleague, Peter Okoye, for debasing his father just to score a point on social media.

The ‘Ara’ crooner slammed Peter Okoye while wading into the rift between him and their other colleague, Seun Kuti, on Wednesday, February 8.

It would be recalled that Peter Okoye and Seun Kuti had an online spat after the latter referred to Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi as an “opportunist” incapable of saving the country from its throes of hardship.

Nigerian fisherman reveals shocking contents of a bottle he found inside a river (video)

A Nigerian fisherman has revealed the shocking contents of a bottle he recovered from a river during a fishing trip.

In a video shared online, the fisherman disclosed that he had seen different bottles in the river before but decided to collect this one to see it’s content.

He then proceeded to break the bottle on a stone on the riverbank, and showed the disturbing things inside.

The fisherman found the pictures of a young man and a woman, and a handwritten note stating that the couple will never leave each other.

On the back of the pictures, the perpetrator also wrote the full names of the people – Newton Omorogbe and Glory Abhuluimen. Other unidentified items were also discovered in the bottle.

Appalled by his discovery, the fisherman decried the wickedness in the heart of men, and wondered why anyone would go to such length to achieve a heinous goal.

Nigerian rapper, Daniel Tuotamuno Darius, better known as Dandizzy, has urged rich Igbo men and women to come together to develop the East.

He stated this on Twitter on Wednesday, February 9, in a seeming reaction to those criticizing Labour Party Presidential Candidate and former Anambra state Governor, Peter Obi, because of the state of the East.

The rapper said Igbos should develop their states in order to curb all the ‘unnecessary disrespect’ that they have been subjected to.

According to him, the wealthy should not only visit the East in December to throw parties and spray money, but should work together to develop the region.

He added that Easterners should also elect better governors who care about their interest and develop their states.

”Christians have recognized since ancient times that God is neither male nor female” – Church of England considers gender-neutral terms to refer to God

The Church of England has announced plans to look into the use of gender-neutral terms to refer to God in prayers.

The issue, according to the Church, reflects increased global awareness about the presumed usage of pronouns, which causes offence or upset to persons who do not identify with the gender assigned to them at birth.

In a statement on Wednesday, February 8, the centuries-old institution said that there were no plans to abolish current services but that it would look into gender neutrality for God.

“Christians have recognized since ancient times that God is neither male nor female. Yet the variety of ways of addressing and describing God found in scripture has not always been reflected in our worship,” a spokesperson for the church said.

He added that there were “absolutely no plans to abolish or substantially revise” authorised services and that no changes could be made without “extensive legislation”.

This follows a conversation in the General Synod, the Church’s governing body, where a priest asked about developing more inclusive language in authorised forms of worship and sought options for those who wish to speak of God in a “non-gendered way.”

The spokesperson said there had been greater interest in exploring new languages since the introduction of their forms of expression in contemporary language more than 20 years ago.

Bishop Michael Ipgrave, vice chairman of the Church’s liturgical commission, said the church had been “exploring the use of gendered language in relation to God for several years.”

A Nigerian student, identified as Chinenye Vera Okonkwo, has died in a fatal road accident in Glasgow city centre, Scotland, United Kingdom.

The 33-year-old, a public health MSc undergraduate at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU), was walking on St. Vincent Street at about 7:40 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023, when she was involved in the crash that claimed her life.

She passed away following the crash on St. Vincent Street on Thursday, police said in a statement on Wednesday, February 8.

It was gathered that emergency services rushed to the scene, involving two cars and a pedestrian, but Chinenye was pronounced dead.

“Chinenye was a wonderful, kind, intelligent young woman with a strong faith in God. She had a passion to succeed and whatever obstacles she faced were overcome. She was very family-orientated and always had time for everyone. Our lives will never be the same without her.” The deceased family said in a touching tribute to her.

GCU principal and vice-chancellor Prof Steve Decent said,

“It is with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Chinenye Okonkwo in a tragic road traffic accident. A rare photo of Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, his mom, and his lookalike brother, Hyacinth, has been shared online.

The singer’s mother, Rose, shared the beautiful moments from their recent family hangout on her Instagram page, which stirred sweet responses from fans and followers.

In the photo, Rose was flanked by her sons, who gave her a peck on the cheek as they posed for the camera.

Evidently elated to have her sons around, Rose, while sharing the photos, described 2Baba and his brother as a gift from God to her.

“My gifts from God. Thank you Almighty for your awesome blessings. Family is everything”, she captioned the photo.

Taking to the comment section of the post, 2Baba declared his love for his mother.

“Yes ooooo. My beautiful and Sweet mother. We Love you love you love you ♥️.” He wrote.

In other news, Chioma Jasmine Okafor, the adopted daughter of veteran comedy actor John “Mr. Ibu” Okafor, has stated that she will not leave him regardless of disagreements or misunderstandings in the family.

This comes days after the actor’s wife, Stella Maris, in a viral video alleged that Mr. Ibu and Jasmine were in a romantic relationship.

A Nigerian dad has warmed the hearts of many with his energetic dance moves at his daughter’s traditional wedding ceremony.

A video shared online captures the moment the father, who appears to hail from the eastern part of Nigeria, stole the show at his daughter’s wedding.

It was gathered that the excited dad requested to have a solo dance at his baby girl’s wedding, instead of the conventional father-daughter dance, and he didn’t disappoint with his dance moves.

In the viral video, he can be seen dancing with vigour and joy while his friends spray him with dollar bills.

Another video from the white wedding showed the father dancing with his lovely daughter, the bride.

The video has sparked massive reactions online, with many gushing over the man’s dance moves and others speculating on the reason for his joy.

A Nigerian woman, identified as Tomi Adenuga, has shared how pupils, including her children, escaped unscathed after a truck lost control and rammed into their school.

According to Tomi, the incident happened on Monday, February 7, 2023.

She said the truck removed the school gate and crashed inside, but there were no casualties.

“The truck literally removed the school gate and crashed inside. The fence was crushed and there was serious rubble. The sound was deafening. There was so much smoke and dust but no child, no adult was hurt”. she wrote.

In related news, a Nigerian woman has shared the testimony of how her son miraculously escaped being burnt in a domestic accident.

The mother, identified as Catherine Nwafor, took to her Instagram page to express gratitude to God for saving her son’s life one year after the incident.

Sharing a CCTV footage that captured the incident and recent videos of her son, the woman recalled how she was frying fish in the kitchen and her toddler went into the kitchen when no one was there and attempted to pull down the frying pan.

After several attempts to pull down the frying pan with hot oil, he succeeded in dragging it down and the content spilt on the floor, but thankfully, an adult saw him in the nick of time and pulled him away.

Catherine, who is extremely thankful to God for overturning the outcome of the incident, said the angels of God took away what was supposed to cause her family pain.

An abroad-based Nigerian man, Prince Liberty, has revealed that his wife is his account officer who handles all of his transactions.

Prince, from Enugu State, took to Facebook to make this revelation while reacting to a post of a man who said his wife knows his ATM pin, phone password and knows the amount that comes in and leaves his bank account.

In response, Prince stated that the man’s own is quite small in comparison to his, because he gave his wife his sim card and ATM cards before leaving Nigeria, so she can see all of his transactions.

Prince, who praised his wife, said eventhough she has unrestricted access to his bank account, she always seeks permission before withdrawing funds.

The young man wrote,

Comedian, Oluwadolarz confronts delivery man who ate part of his food (Video)

Popular Instagram comedian, Oluwadolarz, has confronted a delivery man for allegedly eating part of the food he ordered online.

The skit maker had ordered food online, but the state in which it was delivered made him suspect that the food had been tampered with.

Taking to his TikTok page, Oluwadolarz shared a video showing the moment he confronted the delivery man.

He questioned why the delivery man ate part of the food, which he vehemently denied despite the plate of food looking half full.

After further confrontation, he confessed to eating the food. He claimed that he hadn’t eaten well since the day before, which was why he couldn’t resist the food.

After admitting to eating the food, the content creator gave him dollar bills and warned him against repeating such action.

Reacting to the clip, a social media user, @Priye Melford Jack, recounted a similar experience with a delivery man who ate her sister’s birthday cake.

A yet-to-be identified student of the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has allegedly committed suicide after her boyfriend broke up with her.

According to reports from her colleagues, the student, simply known as Deborah, recently terminated a pregnancy before getting dumped by her boyfriend.

She was said to have been filled with rage and disappointment after her man broke up with her despite having an abortion for him, and she ingested a poisonous substance to end it all.

A Twitter user @VillageChef_ who broke the news online wrote,

“An ND1 student of Yabatech Deborah on Wednesday tried to commit suicide after her boyfriend broke up with her.

Deborah who is a student of marketing in the institution attempted murder cause her boyfriend said he was no longer interested in the relationship.

According to her roommate, she also recorded herself drinking the sniper before sending it to her said boyfriend.

Her current condition is not known at the moment as she was rushed to the school medical center before she was transferred to military hospital YABA.”

EFCC rearraigns influencer Adeherself for alleged N7.9 million internet fraud

Social media influencer and comedienne, Adedamola Adewale alias Adeherself has been re-arraigned by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission for alleged N7.9 million internet fraud, today, Wednesday, February 8.

Adeherself and two others were charged with conspiring to gain money by false pretenses, attempting to get money under false pretenses, and retaining proceeds of criminal behavior.

They were accused of attempting to get $6, 000 from one Mr. Joseph Rumoro under the guise that the money was for the purchase of his passport, visa, and tax payment.

Adeherself was accused of keeping the N7.9 million in cybercrime earnings in her bank account.

Mr. Samuel Daji, counsel for the EFCC, informed the court that the matter had been re-assigned after she pleaded not guilty to the allegations. He asked the court to remand the defendant awaiting the start of the trial.

He said;

“My lord, this case was heard before Justice Sherifat Solebo before she retired, and when it was transferred to this honorable court, I informed my learned friend that the case would be coming up on Jan. 25.
He said he thought it was the day before.
This is a matter that is starting afresh before your lordship, and we do not know if the sureties, who stood for her earlier, are dead or not.
It is proper for the defense to apply afresh for bail before your lordship.”

However, Mr. Kassim Molade, the counsel of the influencer, objected to the EFCC lawyer’s petition. He requested the court to keep the defendant’s bail granted by Solebo until the submission of a new bail application.

Molade stated that the defendant has not been missing from the court and is ready to stand trial.

After hearing the argument, Justice Mojisola Dada reinstated Adeherself’s previous bail, pending the submission of a new bail application by the defense counsel.

Dada further directed the defendant to provide a bank statement within three weeks. She said that failing to do so would result in the court ordering her remand.

The singer discussed the most difficult time in his life since starting out in music.

During an interview with Cool FM, as well as how he thinks about competition in the music industry.

According to Boy Spyce, some people look down on him because he began his music career by releasing freestyles on Instagram and other social media sites.

In his word;

“No it doesn’t piss me off. I knew it was going to happen. I knew there are some people who are gonna like find it hard to accept, but I mean, if you don’t face challenges then are you really doing anything?”

Opening up about if he feels pressure from his other colleagues, the Mavin signee said:

“Uhmmm, it’s not bad pressure. It’s pressure of like yeah I can do more if this person is doing more, I can do more too. You know, they don’t have ten heads. It’s pressure that pushes you to do better.
I am in competition with everybody and it is just the truth. So I was thinking one day, I’m like why is that everybody likes to say “I’m not in a competition, I’m not in a competition
If you’re not really in a competition, then why is there a top 100 Apple Music chart, why are there awards then? I feel like everybody is in a competition but we are too scared to admit it. And this is the way I see it right?
I am in a competition with everybody. It’s just like I’m in a classroom right now, I want to be the first in the class doesn’t mean that if you miss class one day and you want me to explain a Maths topic to you, I won’t. I will teach you.”
