A young lady has taken to social media to share her bold response after her ex-boyfriend threatened to release her private videos.

The clip which has now gone viral captured her taking back all the things she bought for her ex while they were dating.

According to her, shortly after their relationship ended, her ex began sending threats, claiming he would leak intimate videos he took of her without her consent during their time together.

Rather than panic or plead, the lady decided to take matters into her own hands and show him that his threats meant nothing to her.

She went straight to his house with some police officers and collected every single item she had ever bought for him, including wristwatch, PS5, and even clothes.

“My ex threatened me with my private videos he took without my consent, so I show say we no dey cry for here. I go collect everything wey I buy, my second name na stubbornness,” She wrote.

Her action has sparked a wave of reactions online, with many praising her for standing up for herself, while others debated whether reclaiming the gifts was the right move.

Man Sǝntenced to Four Years in Pr!son for Rejecting Naira and Accepting Dollars in Jewelry Sale

Justice Alexander Owoeye of the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, has sentenced Uzondu Precious Chimaobi to four years in prison.

The sentence, delivered on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, followed Chimaobi’s refusal to accept Naira as legal tender in a business transaction.

According to the EFCC, Chimaobi sold a Cartier diamond bracelet valued at $6,000 to an undercover agent posing as a customer.

He accepted $5,700 in U.S. cash and issued a receipt in the same currency, violating Section 20 of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act, 2007, which designates the Naira as the sole legal tender in Nigeria.

Chimaobi, the owner of Unlimited Jewellers Limited, was arraigned by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on February 5, 2025.

He faced a two-count charge stemming from his rejection of the Naira in favor of foreign currency. Initially pleading not guilty, Chimaobi changed his plea to guilty on April 14, 2025.

Following his admission, the prosecution presented evidence, including his statement and investigative reports, which the court admitted.

In delivering judgment, Justice Owoeye sentenced Chimaobi to four years in prison.

However, the court granted an option of a ₦50,000 fine on count one and a ₦600,000 fine on count two. Additionally, Chimaobi’s Cartier diamond wristwatch was ordered forfeited to the Federal Government.

 

Saheed Osupa Drops Charges as Portable Regains Freedom

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has regained his freedom after the Fuji star. Saheed Osupa withdrew a cyberstalking and defamation case against him.

The legal dispute was resolved on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, following a formal notice of withdrawal submitted at the Upper Area Court 1 in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Recall that Osupa had filed a petition accusing Portable of criminal defamation, cyberstalking, criminal intimidation, and inciting public disturbance.

These allegations stemmed from a live Instagram broadcast by Portable on March 19, during which he allegedly made offensive comments about the Fuji icon.

Osupa’s lawyer, Ahmed Opalekunde, confirmed the withdrawal, citing interventions and appeals from respected figures in the entertainment industry.

Although Portable had been arraigned and granted bail, the matter has now been resolved out of court, with Osupa’s team urging the court to caution the singer against making further defamatory remarks.

The withdrawal letter read;

“It’s our client’s (nominal complainant) instruction that the stakeholders in the music industry and other notable personalities in the society have intervened in the matter and pleaded to the nominal complainant to withdraw the case against the defendant in the interest of public peace. We hereby, on behalf of our client, apply to withdraw the case against the defendant and terminate the same accordingly, as the matter has been resolved amicably. Further, sir, we want to pray the court to admonish and warn the defendant to desist from any further publications, utterances, and any other acts aiming at disparaging the person and businesses of the nominal complainant.”

It was supposed to be an ordinary visitation day for antenatal at the general hospital until chaos briefly erupted when a heavily pregnant woman identified as Amaka shared videos of her antenatal visit experience at the general hospital on her TikTok page.

She arrived at the hospital for her usual antenatal routine and stumbled upon an unexpected scene of two fellow expectant mothers locked in a heated altercation.

Mrs. Amaka still in disbelief mentioned that she never expected the scene at the general hospital and honestly hoped the fight would not get to the matron or any other staff from the antenatal so it would not be used to sight examples.

The sister to a bride-to-be had posted on X (Twitter) about how her sister reacted after her fiancé confessed that he couldn’t see himself being with just one woman.

Reacting to his confession, which he made after marriage counseling had been completed, she blocked him everywhere and went straight to the gym.

Although the groom-to-be has been trying to reach her, including calling their mother and sending long paragraphs with another number, the bride has stood her ground and refused to discuss things with him.

“Not my sisters fiancé talking bout he can’t see himself with one woman weeks before the wedding. She sent him a thumbs up, blocked him and went to the gym. He’s crashing tf out. Raised this one right.

Upon opening his fridge to get water, the lady @heavenlys_glam was surprised to see a fully stocked fridge staring at her with several goodies, beverages, and drinks that could last a long time.

In a video that surfaced online and has now gone viral, Ibiyeomie declared that ‘Jesus hates poverty and poor people.’

According to Ibiyeomie, Jesus died so that we wouldn’t have to live in poverty. While it’s understandable to start poor, he emphasized that it is wrong to remain poor.

Ibiyeomie, who emphasized the importance of living a life of abundance, left many social media users stunned, sparking a heated debate online.

Some of his followers defended the pastor’s words as a call for believers to rise above poverty and achieve financial prosperity.

However, a significant number of people criticized him for what they perceived as a distasteful and harmful interpretation of Christian teachings.

As of the time of filling this report, Pastor Ibiyeomie is yet to issue a public response to the backlash.

Singer Portable Arrǝsted Over Allǝged Thrǝats Against Fuji Star Saheed Osupa

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, also known as Portable, has been arrested for alleged criminal defamation and related offenses against veteran Fuji musician Saheed Osupa.

The information, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the Kwara State Police Public Relations Officer, has drawn significant attention from internet users.

In a press statement, the PPRO, Ejire-Adeyemi Toun, noted that the Command had received a petition from Saheed Osupa against Portable and that police detectives have been assigned to investigate the allegations.

The petition outlines several serious allegations, including criminal defamation, threats to life, incitement, character assassination, and the use of abusive and insulting language.

In light of the seriousness of the allegations and the supporting evidence presented, the Command obtained a valid arrest warrant from a Magistrate Court sitting in Ilorin.

A part of officers’ tweet read;

“Acting on this warrant, operatives from the Command proceeded to Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Saturday, 13th April 2025, where the suspect was apprehended at about 19:25hrs. He was immediately brought to Ilorin for further investigations. Upon his arrival, the suspect’s statement was taken in the presence of legal representatives from both parties. He is currently in custody and arrangements are being made to charge him to court without delay. The Kwara State Police Command remains committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring that justice is served in a fair and transparent manner. We urge members of the public to remain calm and refrain from spreading unverified information. Further updates on the case will be communicated as events unfold.”
