Nollywood actor, Yomi Gold has taken to social media to announce that his second marriage has packed up barely a year after their wedding.

Yomi, who tied the knot with Ameena in January 2022, and welcomed a child with her in April 2022, made the sad announcement on Tuesday, January 3.

He explained that they both decided to part ways because they don’t love each other anymore, and said none of them should be blamed for their failed marriage.

The 42-year-old actor further stated that Ameena is a good person and doesn’t deserve to be with a man like him, adding that he’s committed to working on himself.

His statement reads,

“Me and meenah decided to go our separate ways..
I want all our families and friendfans to understand.
This is no time to judge anyone.
When love dies in relationship
No one should force it ..
I want to use this time to thank everyone who has been very concerned and supportive.
Meenah is a good person.. she doesn’t deserve a man like me.
She will make a great and loving partner to a far better person than me.

Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko’s adopted daughter, Chinenye Eucharia, has shared her chat with popular Nigerian skit maker, Sabinus.

A purported text message between popular actor, Alex Ekubo, and his estranged fiance, Fancy Acholonu, has surfaced on the internet.

Recall that the couple have been enmeshed in a messy online drama since Fancy, who called off their wedding in August 2021, publicly apologized to Alex for the way things ended and said she still loves and misses him.

The apology raised speculations that the pair had reconciled, but Fancy clarified that they weren’t back together and revealed that Alex manipulated her into posting the apology note.

Amid the drama, a purported text message between the couple dated August 18, 2021, few days after she announced their separation, has emerged online.

In her message, Fancy had complained about spending too much money on their wedding because Alex wanted a big wedding due to his social status.

She also said she wanted a small, intimate wedding but Alex insisted on having a loud wedding, instead of using the funds to get a house they would live in after their wedding.

Fancy made this revelation in a recent interview with media personality, Stella, where she spilled the tea about the circumstances surrounding her breakup from the actor.

According to her, Alex said he wanted to be celibate because of his religious beliefs, but kept cheating on her with curvy women eventhough he couldn’t ‘perform’.

Portable had his concert at the New African Shrine on December 28, and he gave a grand entrance that has since got people talking.

Speaking on the reason for the delay in a post shared on his Instastory, Burna Boy explained that the organizers of the show did not have the infrastructure to handle his audio and production needs.

I love you but I can’t do this again. The organizational structure and infrastructure is not there for the complexities of my audio and Production needs.

A video that captures the moment Nigerian Grammy Award winner, Burna Boy, lambasted aggrieved fans who booed him for arriving late to his Lagos concert has been shared online.

The Afrobeat Giant held a concert in Lagos on Sunday, January 1, and many fans, who paid for tickets, went out in their numbers to watch the singer perform.

However, things took an unexpected turn when the singer failed to show up on time, leaving concertgoers waiting in the open-air venue for hours.

Around 3AM, Burna Boy finally graced the stage and wanted to start performing but aggrieved fans weren’t having it all and they started booing and throwing bottles at him.

This infuriated Burna Boy who lashed out at the crowd for being angry with him for showing up late, and reminded them of the unscrupulous rumours they peddled against him.

He recalled how he was accused of shooting someone at Cubana Club and claimed his mother, Bose Ogulu, was a dancer for late Afrobeat singer, Fela Kuti.

He said despite the accusations, he still choose to host a show in Lagos, Nigeria, and they are still not happy, adding that God will punish those who don’t appreciate him.

This sparked curiosity among her followers, who did an investigative work, and discovered that IVD has a similar tattoo on his hand, and many concluded that IVD is Blessing’s partner.

This comes two months after IVD’s wife, Bimbo, passed away from injuries she sustained in a fire incident at their home during a fight with him.

At the time, Blessing CEO defiantly defended IVD despite claims that he was physically abusive towards his wife and caused her death.

Following claims that she is romantically involved with IVD, the self-styled relationship expert hasn’t directly confirmed or denied the rumour but she seems unbothered by it.

Reality TV star, Ifu Ennada has bewailed the exorbitant amount she gave as tips to airport workers while flying business class.

Ifu took to her Instastory to lament bitterly on Thursday, December 29, after spending a lot of money on tips.

According to her, most air hostesses in business class expect tips in exchange for the premium service they render, and it’s exhausting.

The 30-year-old businesswoman wrote,

“Flying business class is not just expensive because of the cost of tickets but the amount of tips you are expected to give.

Social media commentator, Dr. Pengking has shared his thoughts on model, Fancy Acholonu’s public apology to her ex-fiancé, actor Alexx Ekubo.

Recall that Fancy took to Instagram on Thursday, December 29 to publicly apologise to Alexx Ekubo months after she broke up with him and called off their wedding.

Fancy announced in August 2021 that she had ended her relationship with the actor and would not be proceeding with the wedding, which was scheduled for November 20, 2021, in Imo State and November 27, 2021, in Lagos State.
