Nollywood actress, Empress Njamah’s estranged fiancé, Josh Wade, has reacted after she called him out online, accusing him of blackmailing her.
The actress had taken to social media on Friday night to cry out online about being abused and blackmailed by Josh Wade.
She claimed Wade is a scammer who deceives wealthy women and enters into relationships with them in order to dupe them.
She alleged that he hacked her Instagram and WhatsApp accounts, logged out of her email, and has been blackmailing her with bedroom tapes of her that he made without her knowledge.
She said he got her a ring, made her do a video announcing a fake engagement, and shared the video on her Instagram page.
“The previous posts about being engaged is FALSE! Kindly disregard, the post was made by the unscrupulous element from Liberia whose aim is to taint my image 😔. In the guise of being My fiancé.” She said in part.
Well, reacting to the call out, Wade, in a video currently making the rounds online, issued a threat to Njamah.
In the video, he said that she knows her day-to-day activities, and she doesn’t know what’s coming for her.
“I swear to God, you don’t know what’s coming. I know your day to day activities,” he said in part.
Popular Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, has bewailed the exorbitant amount of money she spends on food in a year.
The thespian, who has three male children with her husband, Nnamdi, took to her official Twitter page to share her frustration on Friday, December 16.
Omoni, who seemingly took stock of her yearly expenses as 2022 is coming to an end, said the amount she spent on food alone this year can buy a house, and she’s not exaggerating.

A mild drama ensued recently between a man who ordered food online and a dispatch rider in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
The man had ordered food online and had it delivered to his location, but when the dispatcher arrived with it, he noticed someone had eaten out of his food.
The customer, who claimed to have received a notification from the food company that the food had reached its destination about an hour before the rider called, accused him of diverting somewhere to eat the food before deciding to deliver what was left in the plate.
The delivery man acknowledged opening the food when confronted, but he insisted he didn’t eat anything from it.
He denied eating any portion of the food and insisted that all he did was open the plate to check the content.
However, towards the end of the video, he admitted to having tasted the food and said he would refund the customer.

Popular Nigerian skit maker and actor, Samuel Perry better known as Broda Shaggi, has berated Nigerians for making excuses for a dispatch rider who allegedly ate part of the food he was supposed to deliver.
The dispatch rider reportedly ate out of the customer’s food because he was hungry and got into an argument with him.

Olori Tobi Phillips, the third wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has revealed why she agreed to be one of the monarch’s queens.
Speaking in a recent interview with TVC, Olori Tobi, a former beauty queen, shared the series of events that preceded her marriage to the monarch, including how they met.
She said someone had called her to ask if she was interested in getting married to the Ooni of Ife.
She said she met the king and they started dating, and since he had all the things she wanted in a spouse, she agreed to marry him and be his third wife.
“Series of events happened and I think that year I was just praying God I wanted to get married and somebody just called me one day and said “Do you want to get married?” and I was like what’s happening”” And then he went further asking “Would you like to get married to Ooni of Ife?”.
“He introduced me to the King but I didn’t take this seriously as I was still wandering what’s going on. We started dating but along the line, there were so many interference and we didn’t get married. That was quite devastating.
I always promised myself that I will marry someone that I love. There are values that I love in a man and the Ooni has that’s why I later agreed to marry him. If you find that person that fits specific criteria that are not negotiable for you, then you go with it. Ordinarily, I never imagined that I would find myself in a polygamous setting, but I always had some non-negotiable,” she said.
It was quite an emotional moment for Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing as she visited her late mother’s gravesite with flowers.
The actress, who posted photos of herself laying flowers at her mother’s grave on Instagram, explained that she drove from Ibadan to Lagos to visit her mother’s grave to tell her about the recent happenings in her life.
Nkechi stated that she told her mother about her recent accomplishments, social media trolls, and, in fact, everything that has happened since her passing.

A 32-year-old woman has taken to social media to happily announce that she’s going to be a grandmother.
The British mother of one, identified as Shannon, revealed via her TikTok page earlier this month that her 16-year-old daughter, Molly, is pregnant and set to welcome a baby boy in early 2023.

Grammy award winning gospel rapper,Lecrae, has christened himself a combination of Yoruba and Igbo names after discovering that his ancestors came from Nigeria.
The ‘Jireh’ singer took to his Instagram page on Friday, December 16, to announce his new Nigerian names after visiting Nigeria for a gospel concert.
According to him, he conducted a DNA test and found out that his ancestors were brought to the United States from Nigeria. He added that he experienced love and kindness like no other while in Nigeria.
Posting photos of himself in a Nigerian traditional outfit, Lecrae wrote,
“First time in Nigeria. My DNA test confirms this is one of the countries my ancestors were brought from. I have experienced love like none other. Care, kindness, grace, and love.

Popular Nollywood actor,Kunle Remi, has taken to his social media page to reveal that he almost committed suicide back in 2017.
The actor shared his past struggles while reacting to news of the death of American dancer and DJ, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, who committed suicide on Wednesday, December 14.
Kunle, in a video shared on his Instagram page, said he came very close to ending it all in 2017 due to depression.
According to the 34-year-old actor, he was overwhelmed with thoughts about his life, career, and relationship, and felt like he was useless and valueless.
He said it took the grace of God for him not to take his own life, and encouraged other people who are depressed to speak up, instead of bottling up their emotions.
In his words:
“Yesterday the news broke of DJ Twitch’s passing by suicide and it was a very sad news but I can absolutely relate to that.
“It’s never really fine as we say even though we always act like it’s fine. We go through a lot as men.
“I remember in 2017 I had a series of tweet that I went on to delete. It was very suicidal. Someone called me a year later and said I should go delete those tweets, I was going through a lot.
“I was overwhelmed, I was thinking too much of my career, am I doing enough? am I enough? am I with the right person? so many thoughts in my mind.
“At a point I could not take it, I felt so useless, not enough, incompetent, even though it was the contrary of what I felt, I was beating myself too much, then I started to tweet randomly and I was very close to jumping off the bridge or just taking my life. It took the grace of God for me to scale through that.
“I usually bottle up, I don’t share stuff but I learnt to become better doing that. And I just want to share a word with every man out there.
“Look it’s not easy and it’s not going to be easy, but talk to someone. Always have someone in your corner that you can talk too and open up with.
“Life is beautiful but it doesn’t guarantee that it will be smooth all the time but we need to always find a balance and choose happiness over being sad. I’ve been there, I’ve gone through it.
“Right now I still caution myself, I take life one day at a time, once I get overwhelmed I shut down. Depression, mental health are very important. We can do better. Just thought to share.”

Ghanaian media reports that the family members of the businessman accused his second wife of denying them access to him.
Out of anger, his first wife and her children stormed the 37 Military hospital where he is receiving medical care to forcefully discharge him from the facility, but they were not allowed.
In the trending clip, family members of the businessman were seen exchanging words in his hospital room while Asoma Banda, who is currently bedridden and immobile, was fighting for his life on his sickbed.
The first wife was heard demanding for money while stating that she has been legally married to the ailing businessman for 48 years so she has right to his money.
One of the sons of the business magnate also showed the frail hands of his father and claimed that one of his sons has been signing his documents and cheques, claiming that their sick father is the one signing the cheques when he’s visibly incapable of doing that.

A while ago, popular gospel singer, Dunsin Oyekan miraculously survived a fatal car accident along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway.
The ‘Fragrance to Fire’ singer was on his way to minister at a church in Ibadan when his vehicle – a Toyota Prado Jeep – collided with a tailer truck in the Ishara area.

It has been revealed that American dancer and disc jockey, Stephen “TWitch” Boss, left a suicide note before he ended his life on Tuesday, December 13.
It was earlier reported that Stephen, who is said to have a lively and jovial personality, committed suicide on Tuesday, December 13.
His wife, Allison Holker, reported to the LAPD station on Tuesday that he had left the house without his car, which was very unlikely of him. Authorities then received a call from an L.A. hotel, where he was found. He had died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
He reportedly shot himself dead in his hotel room, and his corpse was found in the bathroom by a cleaner after he missed his checkout time.
In an updated development, the 40-year-old left a suicide note highlighting the challenges he faced in the past. TMZ reports, citing law enforcement sources.
“It was an ambiguous reference to his past challenges. It’s unclear exactly what he was referring to in the note,” TMZ added.

Nigerian singer and music executive, Davido has reacted after his former signee, Yonda, apologised for betraying him.
You will recall that in 2021, Yonda, who was formally signed to Davido’s record label, Davido Music Worldwide, a.k.a. DMW, announced his exit from the label.
At the time, he accused the DMW boss of violating him and said he decided to leave because things were not working for him there.

He, however, recently made a U-turn and apologised to Davido for betraying him.
He posted a screenshot of the apology message he sent to Davido on his Instagram page and pleaded for his forgiveness.
In the chat, Yonda asked the DMW boss to temper justice with mercy and not leave him hanging because he has been blacklisted from the industry.
“Baddest, don’t leave me hanging. Please, let me rise again,” he wrote in part.
Reacting, the 30BG boss, who has been severally hailed by fans and colleagues for his good heart, said he misses Yonda and was greatly hurt by his actions.
Asake’s London concert had to be cancelled last night after a stampede that occurred after people tried to force their way into the venue without tickets.
The popular singer, who is currently on his UK music tour, was set to perform before thousands of his fans at the O2 Academy Brixton in London when the chaotic incident took place.
The police confirmed that four people have been hospitalized and are in critical condition due to the crush, while several others suffered varying degrees of injuries.
According to a statement released by Lambeth Police, they were called to the scene around 9:35pm on Thursday night, December 15, and discovered that a large number of people were trying to gain entry into the venue.
They further stated that they have commenced investigation into the tragic incident, and will leave no stone unturn to uncover what truly transpired.
The police statement reads;
Detectives are investigating the circumstances which led to four people sustaining critical injuries in Brixton.
Police were called at 21:35hrs on Thursday, 15 December to the O2 Academy on Stockwell Road, SW9 following reports that a large number of people were attempting to force entry to the venue.
“Officers, London Ambulance Service (LAS) and London Fire Brigade attended and found a number of people with injuries believed to have been caused by crushing.
“Eight people were taken by ambulance to hospital, four of whom remain in a critical condition. LAS treated two other less seriously injured people at the scene.
“An urgent investigation is under way led by detectives from Specialist Crime. Cordons remain in place at the location as officers continue work at the scene. Nobody has been arrested.”
The Metropolitan (MET) Police Gold Commander, Ade Adelekan, who also confirmed the incident, said,
“This is an extremely upsetting incident which has left four people critically ill in hospital. My thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.
“A police investigation has been launched, and it will be as thorough and as forensic as necessary to establish exactly what happened last night. The scene will be examined by specialist officers, CCTV will be viewed, every witness that we can make contact with will be spoken to and all other lines of enquiry will be followed.
“Officers are remaining in the area to provide reassurance to the local community in and around Brixton. If you have any information or concerns, please speak with them.
“I am aware of video being shared on social media. I would ask people to be sensible about what they share, and not to post material that will be upsetting to those affected by this incident. Where force has been used by police officers, those officers know they have to be accountable for their actions. The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards will view all material, including Body Worn Video footage from the officers at the scene. In relation to a clip being widely shared, I can confirm that no police dogs were deployed to the location.”

Nigerian superstar singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has arrived in Qatar ahead of his performance at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
It was earlier reported that the 30BG boss will be performing at the closing ceremony of the World Cup in Qatar on Sunday, December 18.
A video of the singer in a very happy mood as he hangs out with FIFA official Bernard in Doha, the capital city of Qatar, has been shared online.

Portable recently performed at a children’s party in Warri and took to his verified Instagram page to share the video.
Sharing the video, the Zazu Zeh star described children as a wonderful gift from God and noted that he enjoyed himself with the children.

Interestingly, singer Davido, who has maintained a low profile on social media since the death of his three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, reacted to the clip by liking it.

Yonda, who was featured in Davido’s 2019 album “A Good Time”, appealed to the superstar singer to forgive him like the prodigal son, and he doesn’t mind becoming his “slave” again

Popular singer, Sina Rambo’s estranged wife, Korth, says she has been subjected to death threats since she called out her husband for alleged domestic violence.
Recall that Korth, who tied the knot with the singer in October 2021, went online on Monday, December 12, to accuse her husband of being violent, and attempting to sleep with their maid.
She also claimed Sina Rambo, who is the son of the incumbent governor of Osun state, is financially incapacitated that she has to support him with cash occasionally. She also posted a screenshot of the payment she made to his account as proof that he is broke.
However, Sina Rambo has since come out to debunk claims that he physically assaulted his wife, via a statement released by his legal representative.
Following the messy drama, Korth has taken to social media to reveal that she has been receiving death threats for calling out her husband.
As a protective measure, Korth announced that she’s a German citizen and if anything happens to her or her child, the German embassy will take over the case.
She wrote, alongside screenshots of some vile messages she received from a troll,
“I have been getting a lot of threat messages. Death threats and all. I will like to use this medium to say that I am a GERMAN citizen by BIRTH and nationality and so are my KIDS if anything happens to me or any of my family member.

A High Court sitting in Enugu state have sentenced a staff of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Jude Ozuogu, and his wife, Ifeoma, to 13-years imprisonment for child abuse.
The couple were arrested by the state police command in July 2020 for physically assaulting and maltreating their 10-year-old househelp, Nneoma Nnadi, at their home in Aku in the Igbo-Etiti Local government area of the state.
Neighbors who lodged complaint against the couple alleged that they subjected the victim to serious torture because she allegedly made their baby fall to the ground.
Nnandi was said to have carried her madam’s child to pet her to sleep around midnight, when the baby mistakenly dropped to the ground.
Though the baby didn’t suffer any physical or internal injury, the couple allegedly pounced on the maid and burnt her skin with a hot pressing iron.
The also drilled a nail into her head, inserted pepper into her vagina, and locked her up in a toilet for failing to do the dishes.
Fortunately, neighbors who overheard her cries, rescued and rushed her to the hospital for treatment.
They also alerted the police who arrested the couple and charged them to court on a 3-count charge bordering on inflicting grievous harm, administering noxious or poisonous substance, and employment of a child as a domestic worker.
The presiding judge, Justice A. C. Ogbuabor of State High Court 10, while delivering his judgement, sentenced the couple to 13 years imprisonment each.
On count one – Inflicting grievous harm, the court sentenced them to 3 years imprisonment. On count two – administering a noxious or poisonous substance, the court sentenced them to 5 years imprisonment, and on count three – employment of a child as a domestic worker, the court sentenced the couple to 5 years imprisonment.
The court however ruled that the period the convicts had been detained after their arrest should be deducted.
“All sentences shall run concurrently,” the judge ruled
