Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa took to her Twitter page recently to share despite her age, she still fears her mother.
The self-acclaimed baby girl revealed that her mother visited her unannounced and she found herself scrambling to spray everywhere to get rid of the smell of “pot” which her friends had smoked while they were at her house.
“You’ll be paying your own bills and be your big age but the fear of your parents is still real,” she wrote.

The 37-year-old lifestyle vlogger made this assertion in a post shared on her Twitter page on Monday, September 12.
According to her, every Nigerian citizen should enter the gate of heaven without any hassle because they have gone through hell in this nation.

Big Brother Naija season 6 star, Tega Dominic, has said that most of her detractors on social media can’t face her in real life.
The single mother once stated this in the recent episode of her talk show, “The Pandora Show,” where she revealed how she deals with trolls.
Tega Dominic recounted how she and her son came under constant attack on social media and the time that her manager tweeted that she was battling with mental health issues.
She said that tweet was false, but her management thought it was the best at the time because of the attacks on her social media.
She reiterated that she’s better than the majority of those hiding behind keypads to troll her.
“There was a time my management made a tweet about my mental health being affected. When I read that tweet, I said to myself, ‘Me, mental health? Where is my mental health going? How did it happen?’ I told them (management) that they didn’t show me before tweeting. They said it was because they knew I would not allow them to put out the tweet. They said at that time it was the best idea to go through.
“Sometimes, I don’t forgive myself; I feel like fighting myself for that single tweet. I cannot be saying something that is not real. Anything I tweet is how I feel at that moment. I don’t think I can say I am emotional when I am not. It’s not possible.
There was this time someone bullied me and my son. I went to the person’s page and realised that the person recently opened the account. In my mind I was like, ‘This person cannot even face me with his real account and speak to me directly’. That means I am way above the person. You will never see someone who has a blue tick on Instagram bullying another person. I just gave myself courage and said, ‘This cannot be it’.
“I may be getting trolled and my assistant or sister will come to my room and see me laughing. I have fine legs and I may look at the troll’s legs and say to myself, ‘My legs are even finer and this one is talking’. There is always something to massage my ego. I have never seen trolling and bullying in my life like the past one year. The people that have been there before me, I wonder what they have been facing.” She said.
A man has claimed that he is the father of Chioma Success, the little girl who went viral after she joined Peter Obi’s rally and declared that he wants to reunite with her and her mother.
Recall that after little Chioma became an internet sensation following her participation at the campaign rally for Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Asaba, Delta State, a video of her mother stating that she’s a single mother and doesn’t know the whereabouts of her father was shared online.

A little while back, a show promoter identified as Alaafin Washington shared the alleged reason why controversial singer, Portable, was denied a visa by the American embassy.
Portable had earlier taken to social media to cry out after he was denied visa five times by the American embassy.
In a video he shared on social media narrating his plight, he called out a show promoter who made arrangements for him to attend an event in the US and paid him N3 million upfront.
According to him, the promoter deliberately wanted to make him travel with 10 people whom he didn’t even know in an effort to sabotage his chances of getting a visa.
Portable said the promoter sent 10 other people to the embassy on the day of his interview and informed the authorities that he was their leader, which made the embassy deny them visa.
Portable said since he was denied visa and could no longer attend the show in the US, the organizers are demanding N20 million for damages.

A Nigerian woman, Sukyama Irmiya, who stole a twin baby from the ward of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, has begged for forgiveness.
30-year-old Irmiya posed as a hospital staff member and stole a 14-day-old baby, Ibrahim Mohammed, from the ward on September 21, 2022.
Security agents recovered the baby on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 and arrested the suspect.
Following her arrest, Irmiya, while speaking at the Bauchi State Police Command, said she stole the baby due to frustration from the constant mockery by her mates and family members of her husband, because of her childlessness.
Irmiya said she regretted her action and preferred death to the shame she brought upon herself by the act.
“I have realized my mistakes, you can only feel what I felt when you find yourself in my precarious situation. Before you know it, it has become a wound in my heart to the extent that I prefer that I am dead by now than stand this shame I am facing now.
“I am like a walking corpse, I am ready to die now but I demand for total forgiveness from God and everyone hurt by my actions. If I find favour of forgiveness from the parents of the baby, I will be very grateful to God.” She said.
Irmiya, however, denied that she was from Dull in Tafawa Balewa LGA of Bauchi State as was erroneously reported when the story first broke out in September.
“My name is Sukyama Irmiya, I am from Kanam LGA in Plateau State. I am 30 years old.” she said, adding that she came to Bauchi to see a doctor over my infertility issue. I came to Bauchi to see a doctor and from there I went to the Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH) to see a doctor but I later changed my mind because of the condition I found myself in.
“I thought that even if I met the doctor, it is all about child bearing and I don’t have a husband because I have been chased out of my marriage, so there’s no hope of child bearing. She added.”
On how she was able to take the baby, Sukyama Irmiya said
“I went into the ward and stole a child. I stole the child because I want it, I want to take care of it as my own child, that was the reason I went for a newly-born baby.”
“I had tried adopting one but I couldn’t get one because there was no infant child available at the orphanage I went to. I did not do it with any ulterior motives, I just want a baby so that I too will be called a mother. After taking the baby, I went to the village with the baby.
“I repeat that I did it with the good intentions of raising the baby from the bottom of my heart. I am begging for forgiveness from the parents and other people affected by the act. I want God to forgive me, the authority should be lenient with me. I know that I have offended God, please, forgive me.
“I went into the hospital confidently, entered the ward and met the woman, I engaged her in friendly conversations and she loosened up with me.
“I asked her if she had twins and she answered yes, I then asked her, now that you are sick, how are you breastfeeding the children, she told me that she was giving them milk. I asked her if I could take him to see how he looks, and she allowed me to do that.”
“Immediately I took the baby, my heart told me to act as the mother and go. I then told her that I was coming and I just left the hospital and went away with the baby. I followed the main entrance to the main road and boarded a Keke and went to the village called Za’a in Kanam LGA.”

Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, has been accused of ordering an attack on a student at the University of Benin (UNIBEN).
A Twitter user who made this claim on the micro-blogging platform said the incident happened at an event center in Asaba.
According to him, the singer was in Asaba, Delta State for a performance when she allegedly ordered her bouncer to assault the fan.
The Twitter user accompanied the claim with a video showing blood gushing out of the alleged victim’s eye.
He further alleged that police officers who were present at the scene of the incident made no attempt to intervene.
“Teni Makanaki @TeniEntertainer rebuffed my friend’s cheers and instructed her bouncers to assault him. This happened at The Dome Event Centre, Asaba. Police officers witnessed the assault but made no attempt to intervene and the artiste drove off without even one question.” His tweet read.

In other news, the FCT police command has revealed it has commenced an investigation into the allegation made by one Miss Ugwoegbu Ugomwa, claiming one of its officers, DSP Jude Ifeanyi, attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) of the FCT Police Command, attempted to rape her in their office.
In a video shared online, Miss Ugomwa claimed Jude lured her to his office and asked her to follow him so he can ease himself. She revealed that when they got there, he attempted to rape her. She alleged that while defending herself, he pushed her from the staircase and she injured herself.
In a statement released, the FCT police command spokesperson, DSP Josephine Adeh, suggested that both parties are “most likely in some sort of erotic relationship,” however facts surrounding the situation have not been fully gathered as of now.
Adeh revealed that while an internal investigation for necessary disciplinary actions has been instituted against the erring Officer, it is important to state that Ugomwa was at the Command’s SCID earlier that day, to report a case of Blackmail, Threat, Defamation of character and sexual Harassment and sundry offenses against another person and had lauded the investigation approach of the Officers.

The FCT police command has revealed it has commenced an investigation into the allegation made by one Miss Ugwoegbu Ugomwa, claiming one of its officers, DSP Jude Ifeanyi, attached to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) of the FCT Police Command, attempted to rape her in their office.
In a video shared online, Miss Ugomwa claimed Jude lured her to his office and asked her to follow him so he can ease himself. She revealed that when they got there, he attempted to rape her. She alleged that while defending herself, he pushed her from the staircase and she injured herself.
In a statement released, the FCT police command spokesperson, DSP Josephine Adeh, suggested that both parties are “most likely in some sort of erotic relationship,” however facts surrounding the situation have not been fully gathered as of now.

The alleged Officer had promised to drop miss Ugwoegbu off when he branched into the office to ease himself as the video insinuated. Adeh revealed that while an internal investigation for necessary disciplinary actions has been instituted against the erring Officer, it is important to state that Ugomwa was at the Command’s SCID earlier that day, to report a case of Blackmail, Threat, Defamation of character and sexual Harassment and sundry offenses against another person and had lauded the investigation approach of the Officers.
Adeh stated that it is however disappointing to have seen the command dragged into their undefined private episode. The FCT police spokesperson mentioned that due diligence will be carried out without any restraint in ensuring that justice is served in both instances.

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 27-year-old female drug dealer with 78 bags of cannabis sativa.
The suspect, identified as Peace Ayuba, was apprehended on Friday, October 7, in Kakau Gonin Gora area of Kaduna State.
Spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi, announced the arrest in a statement released on Sunday, October 9. Babafemi said that the suspect was arrested on Friday, October 7 at Kakau Gonin Gora area of Kaduna State with the drugs weighing 849.5kgs.
A little while back, the NDLEA busted a mansion in the Lekki area of Lagos State where over 13 million Tramadol pills were stored.
The agency’s spokesman, Femi Babafemi, who made this revelation in a social media post, said the mansion belonged to a drug lord, who has now been arrested and detained.
Babafemi said the agency recovered over 13 million pills of Tramadol 225mg from the mansion.
“Another VGC drug bust! As massive and beautiful as this mansion located in highbrow VGC Lekki Lagos (pictured here) looks, it’s not occupied by humans but used to warehouse over 13 million pills of Tramadol 225mg by another billionaire drug baron now in custody of @ndlea_nigeria.
