Italian Island, Sardinia will pay 3000 people $15,000 each to live there

The Italian island of Sardinia has shared its plans to pay people 15,000 euros or $14,767.88 each to live on the island.

Reports say that the government has set aside $45 million for the relocation grant, which is enough to fund 3,000 moves.

Since a lot of young people are moving abroad for work, the government wants to get people to the island.

“We have created the conditions for young people to decide to stay and [develop] the economic fabric of the most fragile territories,” said Christian Solinas, Sardinia’s president.

“There can be no growth without a real enhancement of the territories, of the interior and most disadvantaged areas, which must pass through new policies for their repopulation.”

These are the requirements to receive the money to move to Sardinia:

You must move to a Sardinian municipality with no more than 3,000 people.
You must live there full time and transfer your residence within 18 months of moving there.
The money must be used to buy or renovate a home.
The grant cannot exceed half of the total cost of the house or the renovations.

Nigerian gospel singer, Chioma Jesus appears to be more popular than RnB star, Beyoncé, this is according to a couple of Nigerian Twitter users.

A popularity poll was created on Twitter after a tweep, @imoteda claimed that the RnB singer is more popular than footballers. The tweep said it is weird for people to think otherwise.

According to her,

So many people think football players are crazy popular. It’s so weird. Like how can you say a football player is more popular than Beyonce? Then name two football players than even I wouldn’t recognize. Lol

The lady’s stance was greatly countered by tweeps, especially football fans and then one user, @_Ganzii who joined in the conversation created a poll between Chioma Jesus and Beyoncé.

A former adult actress, Jasmin St Claire, has opined that social media has reduced the glamour associated with pornography.

The porn star, who broke a world record in 1996 after performing sexual acts on 300 men in 24 hours, said the days of porn ‘stars’ are over.

Speaking on the effect of social media on the porn industry, Jasmin said, “I think social media has cheapened so many things and we have lost the glamour we once had in the golden age of adult.

“But it has also given some great people opportunities they may not have had otherwise. There are a lot of porn performers, but the age of ‘stars’ died in the late 1990 or early 2000s.”

Jasmin was inducted into the Adult Video News (AVN) Hall of Fame in 2011 in recognition of her contribution to the porn industry.

She said the recognition is “pretty damn cool” and appreciated her ‘die hard fans’ for their continuous support. She however said she would like to delve into the normal film industry now.

According to her, she took acting classes to improve her acting skills and would love to land a regular movie role.

Kenyan singer, Esther Akoth popularly known as Akothee, has said most women keep their partners a secret because they are in multiple relationships.

Taking to her Instastory, the controversial singer, who recently showed off her new lover, stated that most women won’t flaunt their lovers on social media because they are two-timing and unfaithful to their partner.

According to her, some of these women sleep with different men, including married men, and have multiple lovers who pay their bills so to avoid ruining their multiple affairs, they hide their main partner from the internet.

The mother of five wrote,

Comedienne Princess has taken to social media to cry out for help after a 10-year-old girl was raped to death in the Ayobo community of Lagos state.

In a video she shared on her Instagram page, Princess narrated how the minor, who she identified simply as Aishat, was raped to death on her way to church on Sunday.

Princess, who’s currently out of the country, pleaded with those residing in Ayobo to report the incident to the nearest police station.

The comedian, who made the plea amid tears, said the police were not allowing the mother to see the child.

According to Princess, the young girl was raped and killed yesterday, Sunday, September 25, on her way to church.

She said Aishat was raped and killed by yet-to-be identified people, and her body was thrown into someone’s compound.

“Please, if you live around Ayobo, I need your help,” she captioned the video.

This comes after Princess secured the conviction of her colleague, Olarenwaju James, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, for sexually assaulting her foster daughter.

Princess had, in April 2021, accused the veteran actor of assaulting the 14-year-old girl since she was 7, and he was subsequently arrested but later released on bail on health grounds.

However, after months of legal wrangling, Baba Ijesha was convicted before the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on Thursday, July 14.

The presiding judge, Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo, in her judgement, convicted Baba Ijesha of indecent treatment, sexual assault, and attempted sexual assault of Princess’ foster daughter and sentenced him to a 16-year jail term that will run concurrently.

Recall that John Lyhon, known for flaunting wads of cash online and advising people to hustle, was arrested in Abuja after being traced from Bayelsa State.

“I was involved in the kidnapping of Danjuma, I was not aware of the kidnapping, I was told they have a business together, I should just tell them where he is staying. I was working there in Sterling Bank as a cleaner, I left there in 2003. Lion is my name, it is the English translation of Ewa. I played the role of showing them Danjuma’s house. I did not play any role in Akin’s kidnap, I only showed them his house that he is the former boss”. He said in part, narrating his involvement.

Apparently, the man and his wife had just tied the knot and were on their honeymoon. However, rather than being all cozy with her husband and enjoying the moment, the woman was spotted working on her laptop in the trending clip.

The husband, who appeared to be struggling to get his wife’s attention as she was engrossed with her work, asked why she would be working while on honeymoon.

As he filmed her, he tackled her for taking her job seriously while insisting that they should be making babies on their honeymoon.

Corp member accused of sexually assaulting two unconscious women at a party in Lagos

A corps member, identified as Ubochi Chibuike, has been accused of sexually assaulting two unconscious women at a party in Lagos.

A Twitter user, identified as @femiexe, who took to the microblogging platform to call Chibuke out, disclosed that he invited him to a party only for him to rape two women sleeping in a room inside the house where the party took place.

He said prior to the assault, Chibuike attempted to go home with a female guest but fortunately for her, she called to inform him first to which he told her not to leave with him.

After she turned him down, Chibuike returned back to the party and reportedly carried out the heinous act.

@femiexe claimed Chibuike jumped off the third-floor balcony after he was caught, but he has now been handed over to the police.

The unemployed graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) who received #500,000 from the alunmi body of the institution has given an account of what he purchased with the funds.

The young man, identified as Oludare Alaba, hit the headlines recently after he stormed the university to return his certificate because it has not been useful to him and demanded for a refund of his school fee.

A video of Alaba throwing a tantrum at the school secretariat as he returned his certificate and demanded that all the tuition he paid be refunded to him went viral and caused a stir on the internet.

Following his virality, he was invited by the Alunmi Association of the tertiary institution and was gifted a cheque of #500,000.

After seeing Chichi continually yelling Groovy’s name this morning after he was booted from the show last night, Phyna vented her displeasure in a conversation with Bella and Rachel.

Groovy was evicted during the live eviction on Sunday night. However, moments ago, Chichi, who seemed to have forgotten that Groovy was no longer in the house, called his name in the house until her colleagues reminded her that has been evicted.

A Bayelsa big boy, John Lyon, who was arrested for alleged kidnapping, has pleaded for forgiveness as he claimed that his wife had just delivered a baby boy.

The suspected kidnapper, known for flaunting dollars on social media, was arrested in Abuja after being traced from Bayelsa State .

In a viral video, Lyon, who was handcuffed, claimed he had only participated in two kidnapping operations before his arrest.

In the video, Lyon pleaded for mercy and asked that he should be released because his wife had just been put to bed.

“Forgive me, make una forgive me, my wife just born sef, a boy.” He said, amid sobs.

In other news, some emergency officials have shared more information on some of the victims of the building which collapsed in Lagos on Friday September 23.

It was reported earlier that the house located at 2/4 Oye Sonuga Street, Palm Avenue, Mushin, caved in on Friday, killing four persons.

Speaking to Daily Trust, some emergency officials revealed that two of the victims, a male and female, were engaging in intercourse when the incident occurred.

An official said; “In fact they were naked when their bodies were recovered.”

Another official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the press, said;

Another official revealed that the building which collapsed is a motel and the female victims were actually prostitutes. He said;

“The place was used as a Club House/Motel and the female victims were actually prostitutes; the last female we recovered was with a man. They were having a nice time when we recovered them.”

A source added;
“We have to reach out to their colleagues there who are all prostitutes to get information on the victims’ families.”

A young Nigerian man has raised concerns about the source of his wealth after claiming that he only has only two years to spend N8 billion.

The young man identified as “Guccilord26” on TikTok took to the platform to document how he’s spending the N8 billion which, according to him, he must expend in two years.

According to him, in an effort to finish spending the money in two years, he recently acquired a multi-million naira mansion in Banana Island, Lagos state.

He also showed off mansions and cars which he claims belongs to him.

Guccilord, who in a subsequent video, reiterated that he has only 2 years left to spend N8 billion, showed he and his friends dining in a pricey restaurant, and referred to them as ritualists.

“Still spending 8billion with my ritualists, 2 years left”, he wrote.

While it’s not certain if his claims are mere cruise, the young man’s video has elicited reactions from social media users and raised questions about the source of the N8 billion which he claims he has only two years to spend.

“EFCC should get ready cause I have only 2 years to spend N8 billion”, he captioned one of his posts.

24-year-old Kano man, Suleiman Isah, who is married to an American woman, Janine Sanchez Reimann, 48, has said that people want his marriage to hit the rocks.

Recall that the couple got married on December 13, 2020, in Gasau Panshekara area of Kano State after meeting on social media.

The beautiful Janine in her words then, revealed how Isah won her trust over via Instagram;

The young lady in a video that’s currently making the rounds online is seen all dressed up sitting at a table alone in the beautifully decorated hall after no one showed up to her planned birthday party.

Apparently, the lady had planned a lavish birthday party with her friends, but sadly, no one showed up at the venue.

In the video, only two people believed to have a role to play in the party, presumably the photographer and the MC, were seen at the venue.

Sitting by the table alone, the lady looked downcast.

Arthur, an influencer and model, made the news in 2021 after photos of his marriage to eight beautiful women in São Paulo, Brazil, went viral on the internet.

The young man who recently came out as spornsexual – a term used to describe people who are very focused on their appearance, said some of his wives don’t want him to maintain his buffed and ripped body while some want him to remain in shape.

According to him, it has not been easy to keep up with his wives’ strict specifications. Speaking to the Mirror, Urso said, “They demand that I be in shape, otherwise I get lectured.”

To maintain his ripped body, the influencer said he constantly hits the gym and has also cut carbs from his diet.

While many men might opine that Urso is living a fairytale by bedding eight stunning wives, the polygamist said some of his wives are jealous when he spends time with his other wives.
