Nick Cannon recently revealed that he has had a meeting with a consultant to discuss having a vasectomy.
Speaking on his ‘situation’ in a recent interview on E! News’ Daily Pop, Nick said he is in the process of undergoing a vasectomy.
“I don’t know if I would’ve designed it this way, but it’s one of those things when you’re blessed with the gifts of children — and as we all know, I’ve been through so much, I find solace, I find peace in my children and I find purpose. So, I’m not out here looking.”

Bella explained to Big Brother that Sheggz’s damage to the wall wasn’t intentional and pleaded with him to forgive him.
She said that her lover had been attempting to get Biggie’s attention to tell him about the incident, but all attempts had failed, so she thought to utilize her diary session to tell him about it on his behalf.
Biggie, who didn’t seem pleased with the gesture, asked Bella, who made her Sheggz spokesperson, and asked why the matter wasn’t reported to the Head of House, Chomzy, instead.

A young woman has taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to share her amazing transformation five months after suffering burns.
The young lady identified as @dookumekor revealed that hot water from her pressure pot scalded her face. She shared side-by-side photos of her face after the incident and now to show how much her skin has improved.
She suffered significant burns on part of her face in the prior shot, but more recent photos indicate that she has fully recovered and her face has returned to normal.

In other news, Nigerian singer and burn survivor, Kechi Okwuchi is grateful for the latest development she had recently. She took to her IG page some hours ago to share with her fans how she’s finally able to put on earrings which is something she’s wanted to do for a very long time.
According to her, she’s missed being able to do two things since the plane crash she survived some years back — putting on earrings and making braids — but recently, she was able to do one these and for this, she’s grateful.
Meanwhile, before and after photos of a burn survivor barely six months apart have left social media users in awe.
The Twitter user identified as @Shuribby on the micro-blogging platform was involved in a fire incident on November 2, 2021, and suffered 2nd degree burns.
She suffered severe burns to her face, neck, and shoulders in November 2021, and in the most recent photo, taken on May 2nd, her skin has returned to normal, with no blemishes.
When tweeps asked if she underwent corrective surgery, she disclosed that she didn’t go under the knife and used honey, aloe vera, and other skin care products to restore her skin.

Nigerian woman narrates how her husband allegedly bit her eye while trying to stop him from beating their 13-year-old daughter with a machete
A mother of five, identified as Onyinyechi Ozokolo, nearly lost one of her eyes because she stopped her husband from beating their 13-year-old daughter with a machete.
Onyinyechi, while sharing her ordeal to journalists in Enugu, revealed that she has been a victim of domestic violence all through their 13 years of marriage.
She and her husband, Ndubueze Ozokolo, hail from Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State but reside at Coal Camp, Enugu North Council area. She shared that the incident happened on August 19, 2022, and she narrowly survived the ordeal.
According to her, it all started when she attempted to stop her husband from beating their 13-year-old daughter with a machete.
“He was beating our daughter with a machete and I tried to stop him from causing grievous harm to the girl. He then turned towards me, held me and bit my left eye. We have been married for 13 years now and my husband has constantly beating me at every slightest provocation and minor issue within the period,” she said.
Onyinyechi stated that some concerned persons took her to the office of Women and Child Justice Initiative Nigeria (WCJIN), a non-governmental organisation in Enugu for counselling and assistance.
The husband, after he was interrogated, denied the allegation, claiming they were fighting when she brought a stone to hit him but the stone fell on her eyes and caused her the injury.
Meanwhile, Founding Director of WCJIN, Mrs Amaka Ilodigwe, said the victim was breeding profusely when she was brought to their office and that she had a deep cut on her eyelid.
“We were able to get help for the woman and even wrote to the Central Police Station in the area after which the husband was arrested,” she said.
Ilodigwe said WCJIN would ensure that justice prevailed in the matter as the man would be arraigned in court soon.

A couple of photos of people which were tied with bunch of keys were discovered dumped among other fetish items on a street in Akwa Ibom State.
According to a Facebook user, Ime Eton, who shared photos on his page, the items were discovered at Atan Street off, Akwa Efak in Uyo, the state capital on Wednesday morning, August 24.
Apprising the public of the discovery, Eton asked that people come and check if their photos or that or their siblings are among the pictures.
He wrote while sharing the photos,

In other news, Nigerian activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, exposed a prayer house inside Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry in Okija, Anambra state, where ‘mentally unstable’ men and women are allegedly being held against their will.
Taking to his Instagram page, Harrison said he visited the location after receiving a distress call from one of the occupants, Ekene, who claimed to have been in chains for the past two years.
He claimed his mum and uncle brought him to the prayer house in 2020 after denying him access to his travel documents.

Nigerian students on Zamfara state-sponsored scholarship in Cyprus university expelled over unpaid tuition
About 91 students from Zamfara state who are on a state-sponsored scholarship in the Cyprus International University have been expelled after the government failed to pay their tuition fee.
One of the affected students who spoke to BBC Hausa and pleaded anonymity said,
“We started having the problem between the school and the Zamfara state government since our first year in school but we thought it could be resolved without raising our voices.
When the Zamfara state government sent us here (Cyprus), they had agreements with school. But from all indications, those or part of the agreements were obviously not fulfilled, hence the negative reaction of the school.
For example, when we were coming here (Cyprus), they told us that our school fees have been paid for a few years. We were also told that we would be paid allowances of 100 dollars. But when we came initially, they gave us some money but not up to $100 as promised, and that was the beginning of the problem.
This is our third year in this country and the situation has gotten worst. It has gotten to the point that the school said they won’t tolerate us again, and had to send us out of school and also evicted us out of the hostel. At the moment, we are homeless, devastated and don’t know what to do.
We don’t have food nor do we have befitting shelter because the school has chased us out of the hostel. Many of us have resorted to sleeping in Mosques and other unhealthy/unsafe places. We don’t know where some of the students are now, but I believe that many of them have found their ways of survival. This is our second month of being in this inhumane condition here.”
Another female student of the university said,
“We are 10 female students staying in one corner of where we found ourselves. The worst of the situation is that we are faced with the arrest threat from the Cyprus Police and other law enforcement agencies because we have not paid for our resident permit for three years now. So, we are under serious threat. We don’t even go out now to avoid being picked up by the police which could result in possible imprisonment that might last for years.”
In response to the development, the Commissioner for Information of Zamfara State, Ibrahim Doara, said efforts are being made to pay their tuition fee.
“We are working to make the balance payment as quickly as possible. Besides, the State Government had an agreement with Cyprus University that the remaining part of the money would be paid as soon as possible.
Also, these students should know from day one that some challenges might be witnessed in the studies abroad but that does not mean we have abandoned them.” he said

The young lady, simply identified as Lollipop, on popular microblogging platform, Twitter, shared a video of herself vibing to singer Asake’s hit song, “Peace Be Unto You,” while heavily smocking weed with finesse.
In the video that caused a stir online, Lollipop demonstrated several smoking techniques and displayed a range of marijuana strains that she enjoys taking.
Reacting to the video, Pastor Femi Olaleye, the Senior Pastor of Oikia Christian Centre, Yaba, Lagos, quoted her tweet with words of affirmation, declaring that he sees a lady who is loved by God.

Controversial Media personality and self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro recently took to her social media page to share a piece of relationship advice bordering on infidelity.

Woman allegedly commits suicide over husband’s plan to take another wife
A nursing mother simply identified as Esther, reportedly took her own life over her husband’s plan to marry a second wife.
It was alleged that Esther committed suicide after her husband told her of his plan to marry a new wife.
Local media claimed that the woman’s lifeless body was discovered by the roadside in Nkoabang district in Yaounde on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
In related news, a23-year-old lady, identified as Jumoke Kehinde, said to be a staff of Shoprite in Akure, Ondo state capital, has reportedly committed suicide after being suspended from work.
She was reportedly found dead on New Year’s eve at her apartment in Kajola area along Oda-road, Akure, after allegedly drinking Sniper.
It was gathered that Jumoke was suspended and asked to return home after reporting late to work on that fateful day.
A source speaking with the Nation said,
“It is normal that anyone who comes late should wait outside before they are allowed in and be given a suspension.
She was seen arranging her table getting ready for the day’s sales as she looked happy but later left the mall at about 11 am after receiving the suspension letter.
At about 4 pm, a distress call was received in the office that she was not feeling fine. One of the management staff went to check on her. Kehinde was found on the floor of her room shaking while her body was oozing with odour of the poison she took. Although, no empty can was found anywhere as she was rushed to the hospital.
After some time at the hospital, she was declared dead. One of her relatives said she did not show any sign of depression.
She was given a suspension for coming late that day. She was told to go home. After then she went back home.
We all know that when you come late you will be given a suspension for a few days without payment.
I don’t see any reason why such an issue would cause her to kill herself by committing suicide.”
A police source said her body has been deposited in the state hospital morgue, however efforts to reach the deceased’s family members and the Management of the shopping mall has been futile.

A mild altercation ensued between former Big Brother Naija housemate, Peace Ogor, and a self-styled ‘Alpha male’, Shola, on Twitter.
It all started last Saturday when Shola posted a rather demeaning tweet about women who got married on that day.
He tweeted;

How I murdered an Islamic cleric who offered me a free ride in Yobe state – Soldier confesses (video)
A Nigerian soldier who shot and killed an Islamic cleric in Yobe state has recounted how he carried out the heinous crime.
The cleric, identified as Sheikh Goni Aisami, gave the soldier named John Gabriel a ride at Nguru Army Barrack on Friday, August 19, after he said he was heading to Jaji-Maji in Yobe state.
However, the soldier shot the cleric along the way and attempted to steal his Honda 2006 model but the vehicle would not move and he was eventually caught by some vigilantes.
John was arrested by men of the Adamawa State Police Command and was paraded before newsmen today where he narrated how he murdered the cleric.
He said while they were driving, he lied to the cleric that there was a sound coming from his car. The cleric then alighted from his car to investigate the source of the sound, and he followed suit.
The suspect then pulled out his gun and pointed it at the Islamic cleric. When the cleric saw him pointing the gun at him, he asked what he did wrong and he (soldier) told him he hasn’t done anything.
John said he fired a warning shot and expected the cleric to run away but he didn’t, then he fired a second shot which hit the cleric, resulting to his death.
Confirming the incident, the Spokesperson of the Yobe Police Command, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, said the suspect claimed to be a soldier attached to 241 Recce Model Battalion, Nguru.
Narrating what transpired, the police PPRO said the suspect tried to make away with the cleric’s car but failed, because it got stuck in the mud and didn’t start.
The suspect then called his friend for rescue who drove another car to the scene, but unfortunately for him, his drive shaft broke.
They then requested for help from a vigilante group in Jaji-Maji. When the vigilante group arrived the scene to tow the broken down vehicles, they found the body of the Islamic cleric and alerted the police.
The two suspects were subsequently arrested and taken into police custody.

The mother of two had taken to her Instagram page to celebrate her colleague, Funke Akindele, as she turns 45 today, August 24.
She posted a stunning picture of the phenomenal actress and wished her well on her birthday. However, she didn’t tag her handle.

Reality TV star, Cross has reacted to Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Daniella quitting alcohol because of her love interest, Khalid.
The 22-year-old poet who had a thing with evicted housemate, Khalid, has proven there’s no end to what one can do for love. Before Khalid’s eviction, he had warned that if Daniella continued drinking alcohol, he might have to end their relationship because his religion doesn’t support it.
According to Khalid, as a Muslim, he cannot be with a woman who drinks, as he also doesn’t drink.
Well, it may seem as though Daniella heeded the warning. The lover girl, who had a couple of drinks in their first week in the house, has given up alcohol and has made it clear to her colleagues that she has.
During a fight that ensued with Amaka over a bottle of Baileys a few days ago, Daniella further reiterated that she doesn’t take alcohol. Since it was Khalid that advised her against taking alcohol, netizens and viewers of the reality TV show concluded that she made the compromise for love.
Reacting, former Big Brother Naija housemate, Cross, on the To Be Honest podcast, accused Khalid of being unfair to Daniella by trying to change her.
“She has stopped drinking because of man.. It’s not fair, I hate it when a man tries to tweak a leady. Thunder fire his ancestor”. He said.

Netizens have been left bewildered over a video of a Nigerian lady smoking weed and pulling a rather interesting stunt with the smoke.
In the trending video, the yet-to-be identified young lady, who donned a pink skimpy top and trouser, is seen vibing to Asake’s song ‘Peace Be Unto You ‘ and smoking the substance.
She showed off the weed, crushed it with a crusher, wrapped it in a brown paper, then lit it with a lighter and started smoking it with finesse and pride.
At a point, she blew smoke out of her mouth and proceeded to swallow all the smoke, leaving nothing behind. She also blew out halo-shaped smoke from her mouth and inhaled it with her nose.

16-year-old girl’s leg amputated on graduation day after being crushed by male student performing stunt driving in Sokoto
A 16-year-old student, Fatima Suleiman, has been left with one leg after she was knocked down by a male student, Aliyu Sunusi Umar, on their graduation day when he was performing driving stunt with a car.
Fatima, a student of Khalifa International Model in Sokoto, and her friends completed their final exams last week and were jubilating outside the exam venue, exchanging contacts and signing autographs when she received a call from her mother that she was coming to pick her up.
She and her friends then went and sat outside the school premises to wait for her mother. While they were waiting, Aliyu, a student from another school, drove towards them to show off his stunt driving skill.
“I was sitting with my friends when the guy came on high speed and splashed stagnated water on us. We reported him to our school authority and he was asked to leave the area.
“But instead of heeding to their warning, he continued with his stunt driving and then lost control of the car. We tried to escape but unfortunately for me, I missed a step and fell down and the vehicle ran over one of my legs but my two friends were lucky to escape unhurt.”
“I was then brought to the Trauma Centre of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital where after examination, the doctors concluded that my limb has to be amputated in order to save my life,” she said.
Fatima said her life goal is to become a medical doctor like her father, adding that the accident would not deter her from achieving her goal.
“I have been nurturing this ambition for long because my father is a medical doctor. I wrote JAMB this year and scored 230,” she said.
Meanwhile, Aliyu has been arrested by men of the Sokoto State Police Command and remanded in the state correctional facility till his next court hearing next Monday.
The wife of the Governor of Sokoto State, Hajiya Mariya Tambuwal, paid a visit to Fatima on Monday, August 22, and promised to support her in overcoming the trauma.

Meanwhile, a young Nigerian man has been captured on tape lambasting his girlfriend for being ungrateful.
In a trending clip, the girlfriend simply identified as Arike, apparently complained that her boyfriend doesn’t give her enough money for upkeep as his peers do for their lovers.
According to her, he has never given her up to N50,000 since they started dating.
This complaint enraged the young man, who, according to him, goes out of his way to make his woman happy. He claims he gives her as much as N25k or N30k, but she chose to be unappreciative because he has never handed her N50,000 at once.
The video captured the moment the enraged young man lashed out at his lover and berated her for being ungrateful.
