Big Brother Naija season level-up housemate, Groovy, has expressed dissatisfaction over the way his lover, Phyna, sings praises of fellow housemate, Hermes, during their tasks.

During a task on Thursday night, Phyna repeatedly hailed Hermes and admitted that he’s one of the most competitive male housemates who puts his best effort into tasks.

This, however, enraged her lover, Groovy, causing him to lash out at her, stating that he finds it disrespectful that she repeatedly hails Hermes in his presence.

According to him, as her boyfriend, he deserves better and she should not hype another man over him.

After ignoring each other for a while after the altercation, the lovebirds finally apologized to each other during their Thursday night pool party, and they moved on with their public display of affection.

Meanwhile, recently evicted housemate, Ilebaye has voted Phyna most likely to win the seventh edition of the Big Brother Naija reality show if she doesn’t get distracted by her love interest, Groovy.

Ilebaye, who was evicted on Sunday, August 14th, along with Khalid, had an interview with Classic FM and was asked who she thinks would win the N100 million grand prize.

In response, the 21-year-old former BBNaija housemate said Phyna or Chomzy, but said the former is more likely to win the show because she seems like a focused go-getter.

She however noted that Phyna has become laidback since she became an item with her beau, Groovy.

According to Ilebaye, Phyna’s relationship with Groovy might be a stumbling block to her winning the show because she wouldn’t be free to do some things in the house out of fear of embarrassing herself in the presence of her boyfriend.

Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Phyna, has complained to her love interest, Groovy, about not dancing with her the way he does with other ladies in the house.

The 25-year-old Edo-born entertainer, during a conversation with her beau, Groovy, last night, expressed her displeasure with his romantic dance moves with other ladies during their parties.

According to her, he doesn’t rock her in the house like he does other female housemates.

“Groovy you go rock all the girls yansh for big brother e go reach my turn you go dey follow me dance leg work.” She said.

This comes after Groovy told Phyna that they should reduce their public display of affection (PDA).

Earlier today, Groovy, whose affair with Pyhna raised eyebrows amongst fellow housemates and viewers of the reality show because of the controversies surrounding it, approached Phyna and asked that they tone things down.

Recall that their relationship started after Beauty, Groovy’s former love interest, was disqualified from the show, and Amaka, Phyna’s one-time best friend, confessed her love for Groovy.

Regardless of the controversies, the lovebirds have continued to spend time together and engage in the public display of their affection, cuddling up and locking lips at every given opportunity.

However, on Tuesday morning, August 16, Groovy told Phyna that they needed to cut back on the PDA.

Phyna, who emerged as the tail of the house in the Head of House games and can only communicate with her colleagues with signals through the week, in response, told Groovy his decision to stop their PDA is because he doesn’t love her.

Groovy then responded that he likes her and that his feeling for her is evolving with more time they spend together.

He went on to say that she cant conclude that he doesn’t like her because he asked for less PDA.
