Anita Joseph and her husband marked their second wedding anniversary in February. However, social media trolls have severally made unflattering remarks about their union.
The couple, who have repeatedly come under fire for sharing their intimate moments online, in a recent post, sent a message to naysayers.
Sharing a video of them happily dancing, seemingly mocking those who believe their union will not work, they captioned it,“Our response to people that say our marriage won’t last. Shallom. “

Meanwhile, Anita Joseph has advised single ladies to be spiritually alert when looking for a life partner.
The actress stated this in agreement to a post by one Sandynnah who said when ladies stop using wealth and luxurious lifestyles as the criteria for choosing a husband, they will be able to see the true potential of their suitors.
The post reads, “Dear single girl! When you remove cubana money, luxuriously furnished houses, machines in the driveway as your priority for husband material, your eyes will open to the potentials of husbands knocking on your door”
In reaction to this, Anita Joseph said most ladies are blockheads and would still use material things to pick a life partner.

Massive reactions have trailed a video from the 2022 Ojude Oba Festival which held in Ijebu Ode, Ogun state, on Monday, July 11.
The festival is an annual traditional event that brings men and women from Southwest Nigeria for a carnival-like celebration of the traditional, cultural and spiritual accomplishments of Ijebuland.
A video from the festival was shared online to give netizens a glimpse of how it went down, and it has garnered different reactions due to the heavy downpour.
In the video, multitudes of men and women are seen defying the rain to participate in the festival. They were matching and parading with a banner under the rain.
Reacting to the video, social media users wondered why they couldn’t get a ‘rainmaker’ to stop the rain from falling pending the duration of the festival as it’s a common belief that rainmakers can control the rain in the Southwest region of Nigeria.
Some others questioned if ‘jazz’ is no longer working in Yorubaland because they expected the traditionalists to ‘hold the rain’.

Popular Nollywood actress, Ejine Okoroafor, has been hospitalised after narrowly escaping death at the hands of a commercial tricycle rider in Enugu state on Monday, July 11.
In a 14-minute long video recounting her experience with the tricycle rider, Ejine Okoroafor said she was almost abducted when returning from a location.
According to her, she was on her way to her hotel after she finished shooting at a movie location when she boarded a tricycle. She said she became uneasy when the tricycle rider decided to buy fuel on their way.
She claimed that after expressing her displeasure, the man became enraged and kept driving while muttering to himself. She said that she was frightened and requested that he drop her. The driver allegedly refused and kept going, claiming that he assisted her despite it being a “Sit at home” day.
She said that she leapt off the trike out of fear for her life. Meanwhile, her gym bag was still hooked up to a part of the tricycle, and rather than stopping, the driver kept driving, dragging her along.
Ejine said the driver did not stop until passersby rushed to her aid and beckoned on him to stop. She stated that residents who rushed to her aid then phoned her location manager, who came to take her to the hospital.

Popular Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has released video evidence to dispel domestic violence allegations levelled against him by his baby mama, Grace Amarachi.
Grace, who welcomed a child with Fabiyi in February 2022, had accused the actor of beating her up while she was heavily pregnant and forcing her into forced labour.
Reacting, Yomi Fabiyi shared videos on his Instagram page to debunk the claims of domestic abuse.

President Muhammadu Buhari has bemoaned the prolonged strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, saying enough is enough.
The president stated this on Monday in Daura, Katsina State, when he received some governors of the All Progressives Congress, legislators, and other political leaders at his residence.

Enioluwa Adeoluwa, also known as ‘Lipgloss Boy’, is a Nigerian writer, beauty/brand influencer, and content creator. In other news, British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Catriona Laing, has noted that her country would have been struggling if they had only one of Nigeria’s problems.
Laing who said this in Port Harcourt on her maiden visit to Rivers State, advised that the ideal candidates for the 2023 Nigerian presidential elections should be youths with females as the Vice Presidential candidates.
Speaking further she revealed that the UK government would deny visas to Nigerians who incite violence and want to disrupt 2023 elections.
Her words,
“I do have some sympathy for Nigeria because if we as UK have one of these problems your country is having today, we will be struggling. Here, you deal with everything, from insurgency to kidnapping, to piracy off the Gulf of Guinea and you don’t have such a large army and police force for a country of this size.
“The only way you turn this thing around is that government has to build the trust of its people, to have the people working with the government to deal with criminality. That’s how successful anti-criminal operations work.

“Another thing we will be doing is to remind people that if people do incite violence or act violently, we will be prepared to deny them visas to the UK. We will make that statement clear and say it over again.”
A Nigerian man, identified as Ogugua Henry Amaechi, has taken to Facebook to celebrate his wife as they tie the knot officially.
The man took to a closed Facebook group to disclose that he and his wife attended the same tertiary institution, were in the same department and at the same level.
According to him, they also served in the same state and got married during their service year.
Speaking on the sacrifices his wife made for him, Henry disclosed that she once sold her phone to pay his school fee and she was indeed a good girlfriend.
Nollywood actress, Grace Amarachi has fired back at her baby daddy, actor Yomi Fabiyi, after he countered her allegations against him.
It was earlier reported that the actor who welcomed a child with Amarachi in February 2022, broke his silence after being accused of demanding for sex for roles and that the actress’ pregnancy was a product of their affair.
Yomi who gave a rebuttal to the allegations stated that the actress made advances at him first and he went ahead to share a screenshot of their first conversation where she called him her “crush”.
He also accused the actress of being overly possessive, physically abusive, and claimed she blackmailed him with his nudes and threatened to ruin his life and career. According to him, he had to file a legal petition against her.

According to her, the actor was the one who beat her up while she was heavily pregnant and forced her into forced labour.
Addressing his claims that she slid into his DM first, the mother of one stated that it’s not true as they had a video call prior to the chat where he showed her his manhood.
Popular actor, Yomi Fabiyi has finally broken his silence after several malicious allegations were levied against him by his babymama, actress Amarachi Grace.
Amarachi who welcomed a child with the actor in February 2022, had contacted controversial blogger, Gist Lover, to complain about the actor and how he “used” her.
She also revealed that the actor has packed out of their home and filed a legal petition against her.
It was also alleged that Grace’s relationship with the actor was a case of “sex for roles” which eventually led to pregnancy.
Well, the actor has now reacted to the allegations in a series of posts he shared on his Instagram page today, July 11.
According to him, he never demanded for sex for roles from the actress because she sent him a message out of her own volition in March 2021 and called him her ‘crush’.
He added that during the cause of their relationship she blackmailed him with his nudes and threatened to destroy his life and career.
Sharing his first chat with Amarachi, Yomi Fabiyi wrote,
“This was how it started with Grace and I. Is this SEX FOR ROLE? Only a criminal or reckless journalist will not balance story before reaching a conclusion. You created a platform, violate people’s rights, gained traffic with people’s life, health, career.”
He also disclosed that he packed out of their home for his sanity because her troubles had become overwhelming.
He said he had to file a legal petition against her and during court proceedings, they were advised to live separately.
However, he was told to provide accommodation, monthly child support, transportation expenses, medical care and school expenses for their child.

Nollywood actress, Lucy Ameh has taken to her social media page to lament the hike in prices of foodstuff in Nigeria.
The thespian who went to the market to purchase some foodstuff over the weekend was surprised to buy small quantity of pepper and tomatoes for N1,500.
According to Lucy, she bought it from her regular customer who gives her extra pepper and tomatoes on a normal day but this time around, she couldn’t give extra because of the prevailing inflation.
Speaking further, the actress told Nigerians to kneel down to thank anyone who gives them free food in spite of the increase in prices of foodstuff.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kenneth Aguba, has finally reacted after some ladies expressed interest in becoming his wife.
It would be recalled that a 24-year-old lady, Annastasia Micheal, offered to marry Aguba after a popular philanthropist and pastor, Chibuzor Chinyere, gifted him a fully-furnished apartment and pledged to find a wife for him, sponsor their wedding, and invite Nollywood actors to the ceremony.
“I heard General overseer OPM is looking for a wife for Kenneth Aguba , please Tell Him I (Annastasia Micheal Olamma ) am willing to marry him, i am ready to be Mrs Aguba ❤️❤️ I will love him and take care of him very well… I am a wife material 1000 yards, I can help him regain his sanity and I will take very good care of him and feed him well.” She said in part.
Shortly after, another woman, identified as Ella, in a viral video, tearfully begged Aguba to marry her.
According to her, she’s had unpleasant experiences in relationships with young guys in the past and is now confident that the veteran Nollywood star is the man for her.
