Media personality, Toyosi Etim-Effiong has revealed that she gets jealous whenever she watches her husband, actor Daniel Etim-Effiong, kiss another woman in a movie.
Toyosi made this revelation in a recent chat with actress, Stephanie Coker, on her podcast – Me, Her & Everything Else.
The mother of two recounted a time when she watched her husband kiss an actress in a movie and she felt jealous because she could sense chemistry between them.
According to her, she called her husband immediately to ask if he felt anything sensual while kissing the actress but he waved it off as nothing.
Toyosi however noted that it’s bearable because the line of communication between them is always open and she can talk to her husband about any odd feeling she has.
When asked about how she copes with the women crushing on her husband, Toyosi said she empathizes with them because she knows how it feels to crush on someone that’s unattainable.
She however chipped in a quick prayer to cover their marriage with the blood of Jesus.
Speaking further, she said she has gotten used to the attention her husband gets whenever they go out together and she has come to understand that it’s part of the showbiz world.
Veteran Nollywood actor, Chidi Mokemehas been thrown into mourning after losing his sister and cousin to the cold hands of death.
The 50-year-old actor took to his Instagram page to announce the sad news of their passing on Thursday, June 23.
He said his sister, Ebele, succumbed to an undisclosed ailment and was aged 48, while his cousin, Nicole, was killed by a hit-and-run driver in the United States.
According to him, the driver is still on the run and the Maine State Police has requested for the help of the public to find him.
Sharing a collage of the deceased, Chidi Mokeme wrote,
“Gone Too Soon!
It’s been a crazy couple of days as our family mourns the loss and transition of our angels.
It is with profound sadness that I share with you the untimely and unfortunate passing of my immediate younger sister Ebele Mokeme Uche-Nwene, who would have been 48yrs next month and My Cousin Nicole Mokeme, 35. While Ebele lost her battle to illness, Nicole was killed by a hit-and-run driver. May their spirit-filled souls rest eternally in the Lord, and I solicit your prayers for Ebele’s young twins, Nicole’s daughter, our family, my mum, Nicole’s parents, and the loved ones and friends they left behind.
I’m compelled to share this information because Nicole’s killer is still out there on the loose. The Maine State Police, and the Maine Department of Public Safety are in search of the hit-and-run vehicle described as a 2016 black BMW X3 SUV with Maine license plates 5614WM and is registered to 35yr old Raymond Lester of Portland. The Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the vehicle. If you see the vehicle, or have any reliable information, please call the Maine Police Department immediately.”
A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to recount how she missed out on her own traditional wedding ceremony because she went into labour.
In the video she posted online, the lady who was heavily pregnant, could be seen wincing due to the contraction pains while her friends comforted her.
She also disclosed that the traditional wedding went on without her and shared a video clip of her groom dancing with his friends.
She however stated that he returned to the hospital in time to be there for her when she delivered their baby.

The FCT Police Command has reacted to a viral video of a woman alleging that some Muslim men came to stop Christians from registering for their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
The alleged incident was said to have occurred at Lugbe Federal Housing Estate in Abuja.
In the trending video, the woman claimed the Muslim men came to the registration center to disrupt the process because “Harina” (Christians) were there.
However, the FCT Police Command in a statement released on Twitter, has refuted the claim while noting that the video was either doctored or not recent.
According to them, they deployed men to the said location immediately they got wind of the alleged incident and nobody was found there.

A Nigerian human rights lawyer caused a stir at the Supreme Court in Abuja today, June 23, when he attended proceedings in the apex court in his traditional worshipper’s regalia.
According to the lawyer, who was also barefoot, a Supreme Court ruling indicated that Nigerians were allowed to dress in their religious garb.
Speaking with reporters, he explained that he made the decision to wear that attire in response to the Supreme Court’s decision from June 17 that permitted Nigerians to display their modes of worship, which includes the wearing of hijab in public settings.
In his words,
“By the Supreme Court judgement, we have been given license to dress in our religious attires. It would be a flagrant violation of my fundamental right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion for anyone to stop me.”

A while ago, a woman, identified as Azeezat Yishawu, called out a restaurant in Gwarimpa, Abuja, for sending her out because she was wearing hijab.

A while ago, Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Obi, has spoken on the events that took place between superstar singer Burna Boy and a married lady at a club in Lagos.
He has opined that the married lady was lying and pointed out loopholes in her account.

A newly wedded couple have both lost their lives in a fatal accident while returning from their traditional wedding ceremony in Delta state.
The groom, Kelvin, and his new bride, Evi, got married on Wednesday, June 21, and were on their way home after the event when they were involved in the road accident that claimed their lives.
The couple, who acquired the car involved in the accident only two weeks ago, died alongside the driver and the groom’s best friend, Timi.
Kelvin and Evi were billed to have their white wedding this weekend.
Family, friends, and colleagues have taken to social media to mourn their demise.

In related news, a final year student of the University of Port Harcourt, Miss Ubiri Jennifer, has died in a ghastly road accident in Bayelsa state.
Jennifer was among three people burnt to death in the accident which occurred on Monday night, June 21, 2022, at Opokuma junction, along East-West Road.
The deceased, until her death, was the Vice President of the National Union of Urhobo Students Worldwide (NUUS).
A scary incident occurred at the World championships in Budapest on Wednesday, June 22, when American artistic swimmer, Anita Alvarez, collapsed inside the pool.
Alvarez was on the verge of drowning after fainting inside the pool and had to be rescued by her coach, Andrea Fuentes – a four-time Olympic medalist in synchronized swimming.
Without taking a thought, Fuentes dived into the pool after seeing Alvarez sink to the bottom of the pool at the end of her performance.
She carried Alvarez to the top and performed CPR on her before she was given medical attention by paramedics and taken away on a stretcher.
According to reports, this is the second time Alvarez is losing consciousness inside a pool as Fuentes also rescued her during an Olympic qualification event last year.
Speaking on the incident that could have gone worse that it did, Fuentes on Wednesday, June 22, said,
“Anita is much better, she is already at her best. It was a good scare, to be honest.
“I jumped into the water again because I saw that no one, no lifeguard, was jumping in. I got a little scared because she wasn’t breathing, but now she’s fine. She has to rest.”
Meanwhile, the U.S. Artistic Swimming Instagram page has released a statement confirming that the 25-year-old athlete is better now.
Six students of a secondary school in Taraba state have reportedly been expelled for staging a protest against the school’s management.
The students of Government Day Secondary School Salihu Dogo in Jalingo were said to have staged the protest because they lack basic amenities required to aid their learning process.
It was gathered that they assembled in front of the school principal’s office on Wednesday, June 15, to air their grievances.
A video from the protest is currently making rounds online and in it, one of the students could be heard saying they don’t have a science laboratory or seats in their classrooms.

An American lady, Allie Tarvin has taken to TikTok to share her impressive weight loss transformation in one year.
The 21-year-old lady said she had been struggling with her weight her entire life, and had a low self-esteem because she hated the way she looked.
She said she weighed 217lbs at her heaviest, and people used to make vile comments about her body before she decided to intentionally lose weight.
According to her, she used to eat fast food everyday when she was fat. She would eat a big breakfast combo and sweet tea from McDonalds for breakfast, fried chicken and fries or tacos for lunch, and for dinner she would eat out most nights.
She added that she used to snack on milkshakes, crisps and any fried leftovers from the previous day.
However, she decided to overhaul her lifestyle in January 2021 by changing her diet and exercising 6 times a week.
She started eating eggs for breakfast, grilled chicken or turkey sandwiches for lunch and steak with a salad for dinner.
Speaking on how her new look has transformed her life and relationship with people, Allie said she feels more confident and people are nicer to her now.

Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has cried out over the huge sum of money the police are allegedly demanding following the death of a commercial motorcyclist who was crushed to death by his signee.
It was earlier reported that Portable’s aide allegedly killed a commercial motorcyclist in an accident that occurred in Ogun state on Tuesday, June 21.
The Ogun State Police Command confirmed the tragic incident in a statement on Wednesday.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident, said it was an accident.
“The accident occurred at Ilogbo area in Ogun state where one of Portable’s aides hit a motorcyclist and the man did not survive as he died on his way to the hospital. We are not sure if the driver in question was drunk or not.”
However, Portable in his account dispelled the claim that the motorcyclist died on his way to the hospital. According to him, the victim made it to the hospital and received treatment.
Portable, who noted that the driver of the car was his signee, said he was at the hospital to see the victim, who confirmed that he was fine and had just back pain.
Portable said it was to his utmost shock when the police told him of the man’s passing barely 30 minutes after he left the hospital.
The Zazu Zeh star, who suspects foul play, said the police are demanding 5 million naira from him and did not allow him to see the man’s corpse.
He added that although there are claims that the victim passed away, he hasn’t been shown any corpse, and demanded to see the corpse.

The Kwara state police command has released photos of Jimoh Abdulfatai, the young man who conspired with his friends to assault his girlfriend over claims that she was cheating on him.
Fatai had invited his girlfriend, Aduke, to his house where he had gathered a couple of his friends to deal with her for allegedly cheating on him.
When she arrived at his apartment, she met some of his friends, all males, in his living room. He later began to interrogate her, accusing her of engaging in hookups.

Fatai had his friends hold Aduke’s hands and legs while he flogged her. At one point, he pulled her pants before he had a change of heart and wore her pants back.
The video from the scene of the incident was shared online and sparked outrage from Nigerians on social media, with many calling for the prosecution of Fatai and his friends.
However, in a statement released today, June 23, SP Okasanmi Ajayi revealed that the suspects have been remanded after being arraigned in court.
The statement reads;
“The Kwara State Police Command wishes to inform the general public of her swift action in response to a viral video that trended in many social media platforms, blogs and on virtually every lip yesterday, showing a young lady by name Ayomide Afolayan, other details withheld, was seen being horrendously, heartlessly and indecently assaulted by her supposed boyfriend named Jimoh Abdulfatai of Shao in Moro Local government area of Kwara State.
Her hands and legs were tightly held by four other friends of the first suspect named, Olamide Babatunde, Afeez Ayomide, Agboola Abdulsamad and Yakubu Mustapha for severe effect.
The Police in Shao got wind of this highly despicable incident which prompted a swoop on the scene; the suspects were rounded up, victim liberated and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The Commissioner of Police, Cp Tuesday Assayomo psc (+), directed immediate transfer of the matter to the Command’s CID for discreet and timely investigation. The suspects confessed to the crime, and the reason adduced for their senseless action was a mere suspicion of infidelity on the part of the lady which the lady vehemently denied. In spite of the denial, the boyfriend forcefully retrieved the lady’s telephone handset and handed over the phone to one of his friends to start videoing the actions and eventual posting on social media.
Investigation done with, suspects were charged to court and were remanded in custody pending hearing and actual trial of the matter. This will serve a deterrent to other people having such criminal and appalling tendency in their minds.
The Commissioner of Police Kwara State, wishes to use this opportunity to advise parents on the need to be parents in the real sense of it; parents should monitor their children, know the kind of friends they keep so as to avert this type of ugly incident.”

Former deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice, have been arrested and charged to court for bringing a child to the UK for alleged organ harvesting
Confirming the arrests in a statement, the metropolitan police said the couple were charged to court on Thursday following an investigation by the police’ specialist crime team.
The statement reads;
“Beatrice Nwanneka Ekweremadu, 55 (10.9.66) of Nigeria is charged with conspiracy to arrange/facilitate travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting”.

Former spokesperson of the All Progressive Congress, Yekini Nabena, is of the opinion that the ‘OBIdient’ movement is dead on arrival.
The movement was kickstarted on social media by supporters of the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
However, Nabena speaking on the movement to newsmen on Wednesday, June 22, said it only exists on social media and with time, it will lose relevance.
His words,
“I can tell you that the so-called ‘Obedient movement’ only exists on social media and after the coming elections they will naturally turn to disobedient movement, and later obituary because the movement will naturally vamoose.”
He added that the ruling party, APC, will perform extremely well in the 2023 election as ‘their people’ will come out in their numbers to vote for the ‘right party’.
The Bayelsa-born politician also assured APC that they will get nothing less than 2.1 million votes from the Niger Delta region in the presidential election.
“The APC will secure nothing less than 2.1 million votes from Escravos to Forcados, Brass to Bonny, in the Niger Delta. This is because our people are massively coming out to get their PVC and they know the right party and candidate to vote for when the time comes.” he said.
Fast-rising singer, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe better known by her stage name Ayra Starr, has responded to a troll who slut-shamed her on Twitter.
The Mavin signee had taken to the micro-blogging platform to post a jaw-dropping photo of herself as is her usual fashion and dropped a subtle hint about releasing a new track.
However, the troll decided to share his unsolicited opinion about her and called her an award-winning prostitute.
According to @illelaboyeG, the “Bloody Samaritan” hitmaker has a degree in acting like a cheap call girl.

The tweet caught the attention of the singer who directed the insult back to his mother at home.
As is the custom, a troll with Twitter handle @99Snky took to Twitter to opine that singer and mum of one, Simi, is already losing relevance in the entertainment industry and Ayra starr is currently the hottest kid in the block.
According to the troll, people prefer and listen to Ayra Starr now, not Simi. To which Simi fired back at him and even involved his father.
In reaction to this, Ayra Starr in a tweet, playfully knocked the troll for the unnecessary comparison and pleaded with Simi to ignore him. The 19-year-old Mavin signee also hailed the “Duduke” crooner and expressed her love for her.
She wrote, “Haaaaa Queen, please don’t mind him, he’s a bloody Samaritan, love you forever.”
A suspected armed robber, Tosin Ominiyi, has been arrested while attempting to rape a woman after robbing her family of valuables in their house in Idanre, Ondo state.
According to the police spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami, the suspect broke into the family’s house through its window around 1 a.m. and robbed the couple of their money and other belongings.
“It was in the process of trying to rape the wife of the man that he (husband) summoned courage and descended on the accused, apprehended the robber with the help of neighbours, and dispossessed him of his gun.” Odunlami said.
Tosin was paraded alongside 13 other suspects, namely Ojo Rotimi, Tosin Omoniyi, Jimoh Dele, Uwanfor Destiny, Babajide Moses, Tope Gbenga, John Simeon, Akinniranye Blessing, Jude Stephen, and Iranlowo Ayomide before newsmen on Wednesday, June 22.
The police spokesperson noted that the suspect’s 55-year-old mother, Mrs. Tale Akinlabi, was arrested for allegedly helping him to keep stolen items and that they would be charged in court as soon as the investigation is completed.
Admitting to the crime Tosin said he operated alone and had successfully robbed many people in the town.
“I entered through the window and met the couple in the house. I ordered them to bring out all the money and valuables in their house. They were able to bring out just N50,000, but I asked the woman to go and bring more valuables from her room because I was not satisfied with the cash.
I followed the wife into her room to search the room and I asked her to lie on the bed and she obeyed because I was holding a gun. The woman shouted that I was about to rape her and her husband rushed in with four other men.
I was overpowered before I could go for my gun because I had dropped the gun on the ground while I was trying to sleep with the woman. They beat me up, seized the gun and handed me over to the police.” he said
Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown, has alleged that his colleague, Bobrisky, threatened to kill him if he did not quit being a drag queen.
It’s no longer news that James Brown, who was previously Bobrisky’s protege, is frequently at odds with him on social media, albeit their supporters and followers are oblivious to the cause of this.
While celebrating Bobrisky during the opening of her multi-million naira mansion over the weekend, James Brown dubbed Bob his “enemy”. According to him, even the Bible suggests that one celebrates his enemy.
However, during a recent tell-it-all interview with British influencer, Woody, James Brown disclosed that although Bobrisky supported him when he started out his career, he later got threatened when he became famous and was thriving in the cross-dressing industry.
He also alleged that Bobrisky went as far as threatening to kill him if he didn’t stop crossdressing.
“And he threatened me that if I continue being James Brown, being a drag queen, you know the princess of Africa, he’s gonna kill me. So that’s how we became enemies,” he said in parts.

A while ago, James expressed his genuine feelings regarding his colleague, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
The drag queen, who’s currently in the United Kingdom, didn’t mince words when a fan asked what she felt about Bob.

Aduke, the young woman in the viral video who was assaulted by her boyfriend for allegedly cheating on her, has finally broken her silence.
A few days ago, a video of the woman, an HND1 student at Bartholomew College of Health Shao in Kwara State, being ruthlessly flogged by her lover in front of his friends—who were holding her hands and legs—sparked outrage on social media, with many calling for justice to be served.
The Kwara state police command, in a statement, revealed that the boyfriend and his friends have been arrested and the investigation is ongoing.
However, speaking in an interview with TVC, Aduke said she just wants to rest as nothing is going to change, even if her boyfriend and his friends are sent to jail.
According to her, punishing them for the crime can’t undo what they have done to her.
“I am not okay but I just need to rest. There is nothing I can do. Even if they are in jail, what they did to me can not go back. They have done it already”, she said.
The spokesperson of the state police command, SP Okasanmi, who also spoke during the interview, said the suspect, Fatai, claimed that he was married to the victim.
“According to the boy he claimed that he is married to the girl and that they have done court wedding. We asked him, were the family of the girl involved in the marriage? He claimed that it was her friend that came and that himself and his family were involved in the event. I asked him why would you get married to her without any of her family present? He said the lady claimed that she had no parent and was an orphan. We are still investigating to get the wedding certificate if there was any.” Okasanmi said.
Confirming the arrest of the five suspects, Okasanmi added,
“What happened was that on Monday morning the police got an information through a friend of the victim that a lady was being molested and beaten up by her boyfriend and his friend. The police raced to the scene with about one or two Army officers that were around. On getting there, the boys were eventually arrested while the victim who was in severe pain was taken to the clinic for treatment.
According to the victim, she claimed she was the girlfriend to the boy. She said on that Monday, the guy called her to the house and when she got there, unknown to her, the boy had arranged with his friends and they held her by the hands and the legs. They started flogging her for an offence of cheating, that she was going around with boys.
She said the boyfriend was the one that collected her phone , forced her to open it and used her phone to record all the videos, asking her to confess to cheating. She said she can never confess. They told her that if she fails to confess they were going to post the videos and the girl said they can go ahead and do whatever they want to do and that she has not done anything wrong. Eventually those boys posted the videos.
As at now we have all the five boys in the station and we are preparing them for court at the end of the investigation.”
