A young man has announced his engagement to his first love and childhood girlfriend after 20 years apart.
Sharing their unique love story, the man identified on Twitter as @syke_sga revealed that he and his now fiancée dated as children, but they split up and recently reunited after 20 years.
He said meeting her again after two decades, they picked up from where they stopped. He proposed marriage to her last Saturday and he got a YES!
The lady, on her part, giving more details about their relationship, said they first met in the year 2000 and he was also her first love, but sadly their relationship failed after they went to different high schools.
According to her, throughout her 20’s she was in toxic and unhealthy relationships and had started giving up on finding real love when she reconnected with her childhood lover and he gave her a new meaning of love.
Sharing moments from their romantic proposal on Twitter, the young man wrote,
”I proposed to this beautiful woman this past Saturday. She was my first love and girlfriend as a young boy, and 20 years later we reunited and it’s been the l healthiest, loving, and fun relationship I’ve ever had. Similar to back then. Cheers to forever.”

Nigerian clergyman, Rev. Ugochukwu Emmanuel Ekwem, has taken to social media to drop some relationship nuggets for single ladies.

A Twitter user has shared how a woman reportedly killed her daughter because her new husband doesn’t like the girl.
The mother, who had children from a previous relationship, poisoned her daughter to satisfy her new partner, according to the Twitter user @Sisi Yemmie, who reported the bizarre incident on the platform.
It’s said that the man despised his step-daughter and was constantly whining, so the lady ‘took her daughter out of the way’ in order to save her marriage.
She eventually admitted the heinous act to her son.
“I just heard this guy on the radio say his mom killed his sister because his step father did not like his sister & was always complaining. So his mom poisoned her. You killed your child for a man???!!!

Nigerian author, Reno Omokri, has elicited diverse reactions online after he advised against sex before marriage.
In a recent post, the former presidential aide who’s popular for his social media nuggets advised ladies to not allow a man to get intimate with them until they are married.
According to him, men are excited by sexiness but tamed by virtuousness; hence, the mystery of a woman should only be unveiled by marriage.

The Ogun state Police Command has arrested a 36-year-old man, identified as Kingsley Essien, for allegedly trafficking his wife to Mali for prostitution and selling her 2-year-old son at N600,000.
The suspect was nabbed after his wife, Bright Essien, made a report at the Agbara divisional headquarters that in October 2021, her husband told her he had secured a job for her in Bamako Mali and being her husband, she believed him and travelled to Mali, unknown to her that he had sold her to a human trafficking cartel.
According to a statement released by the Spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi,
“She explained further that being her husband, she didn’t suspect any foul play until she got to Mali only to discover that she has been sold to human trafficker cartel headed by a woman at the rate of One million four hundred thousand naira. While in Mali, she was forced into prostitution, but later found her way to Nigeria embassy in Bamako where she was assisted back to Nigeria.
On getting to Nigeria, she discovered that her two years old son in care of her husband is nowhere to be found.
Upon the report, the DPO Agbara division, SP Abiodun Salau detailed his detectives to go after the suspect, and he was eventually arrested.”
Upon interrogation, the suspect admitted that he indeed trafficked his wife to Mali, and subsequently sold her son to somebody at the rate of six hundred thousand naira.
Oyeyemi said the commissioner of police, CP Lanre Bankole, has ordered that the case be transferred to the anti human trafficking and child labour unit of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for discreet investigation.
The CP also ordered that the buyer of the little boy be tracked down and arrested in order to recover the child.

Popular Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has narrated how she was almost robbed by traffic robbers on the third mainland bridge in Lagos last night.

The father of seven showed off the tattoos on his Instagram page on Thursday, May 19.
He shared a video of himself getting tattooed and captioned it “Gbam Tattoo season.”
The final result showed the children’s names, Ehi, Zion, Justin, Isabella, Nino, Innocent, and Olivia, beautifully inked on his arm.

This comes after Pero, baby mama of legendary singer, 2Baba, lauded him on social media after he showed up for their daughter, Ehi’s school game in the US.
The singer who’s currently in the United States and spending time with his kids, took to his Insta-stories to share videos which showed him cheering for his lovely daughter as she represented her team in the games.
One of the videos he shared captured him asking Ehi if she was ready and went on to boost her morale as she took the track. “Nothing do you, no shaking”, the proud father told his daughter.
Pero, who the African Queen star has three children with, took to her Instagram page to hail her baby daddy.
She described him as his daughter’s number one cheerleader and loudest track dad.
Sharing a photo of Ehi and her dad, 2Baba, the mother of four wrote, “#1 cheerleader loudest track dad… Dream team super proud.”
Nigerian content creators, Ebuka Dikeh and Special Nedu, have caught the attention of World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE, after they recreated the entrance montage of professional wrestler, Roman Reigns.
The entertainers who happen to be brothers, made a creative video of Roman Reigns’ entrance and shared it on their social media pages.
In the video, the elder brother, Ebuka, who played the role of Roman Reigns donned a wig and painted his arm to represent the wrestler’s tattoo, while the younger brother, Nedu, played the role of his righthand man, Paul Heyman.
They also improvised the wrestler’s championship belts and used cartons cut into belt shape to represent it.

The video went viral on social media and before long, caught the attention of the organizers of WWE and they reposted it on their official social media page with over 26 million followers.
WWE games, the video game division of WWE, also contacted the brothers and offered them a special code to access their newly released simulation game, WWE2K22.
The entertainers’ brother, Dikeh, took to microblogging platform, Twitter, to announce the heartwarming news to Nigerians.
“WWEgames just reached out to my brothers. We officially WWE bodies now 🔥🌎🇳🇬🚀. Make them just invite come on Pay Per View 🥺🔥”, he tweeted.
Nwangwu Eudora Ogechukwu, a Nigerian intersex rights campaigner, was issued her National Identity Number with the gender classification “X.”
Ogechukwu made this revelation via her Insta-stories on Thursday, May 19.
According to Wikipedia, Intersex people are individuals born with any of several sex characteristics including chromosome patterns, gonads, or genitals that, according to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, “do not fit typical binary notions of male or female bodies”.
Sharing a snapshot of her NIN card, she wrote, “I get coconut head. I dey disturb Nigeria!”

A while ago, a student of UNIZIK identified as Chisom publicly revealed that she’s intersex and stated that she and others like her will no longer live in hiding.
She said she’s noticed that a lot of people are talking about intersex people after a lady came out online. Chisom, who is a DJ, said she’s one of those who are intersex. She added that there are so many people like her but they have been living their lives secretly. This, she said is about to change.
In a video shared online, she said: “Intersex are real. We’re real and we’re no more hiding.”
She continued:
“And anybody that is asking stupid questions; do they have dick, do they have this one…? Then, I’ll just advise you, pray to God so God will give you a child that’s an intersex. Maybe you’ll now see for yourself how intersex looks like.”
Reality TV star and entrepreneur, Ifu Ennada, has addressed Christians who criticize her for wearing bikini.
The former Big Brother Naija star, while reacting to the backlash that trailed her bikini photos, especially from Christians, noted that some told her she’s not born again and will not make heaven because she wears bikinis.
Recall that Ifu had earlier asserted that she’s a born-again Christian after she was tagged devilish for the unconventional black dress she wore to the AMVCA.
Sharing some comments from trolls, she noted that Christians who say she’s not born again because she wears bikini are bitter and envious.

Choice Christopher, the SUG Vice President of Delta State Polytechnic, has recounted the humiliation she faced after getting pregnant out of wedlock.
She took to her Facebook page on Wednesday, May 19, to show off her daughter who is now grown, and shared the struggles she went through after getting pregnant at a young age.
According to her, she was mocked, suspended from her church and ridiculed by her age mates.
However, she choose to keep the pregnancy and today, her child can easily be mistaken to be her younger sister.
Professing her love for her daughter, Choice wrote,
“When I was pregnant of you, I was mocked, suspended by church law, humiliated by my peer group.
Today, you seem to be like my younger sister.
I love 💘 u plenty my first fruit.”
