A Nigerian lady has called out her step-mom on Facebook over a post supporting Yul Edochie’s marriage to his second wife, Judy Austin.

The lady identified as Kelechi Moon said her father’s second wife, who she identified as Chioma Okechukwueze, came into her family and destroyed her parents’ 35 years of marriage.

She declared that Chioma is supporting Yul Edochie’s second marriage because she’s a second wife herself.

Kelechi’s post calling out her father’s second wife was met with mixed reactions, with many dragging her. However, replying to people critiquing her post, she said people who have not been victims of polygamy would not understand her pain.

“If you aren’t a victim of polygamy home you won’t understand my pains. If you haven’t been denied Father love and care you won’t understand my pains.
If you haven’t sat and watch what your mom work for good 35yrs been taken away from her and leaving her heartbroken you won’t understand my pains. I’m not against my father marrying a second wife but chasing my mom away, making my father to turn his back against us is what I’m f!ghting for.

My father was a good and loving father before getting married to her. World’s only nonuplets in perfect health as they celebrate first birthday

The record breaking nonuplets born in Morocco to a Malian couple on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, have celebrated their first birthday.

YabaleftOnline reported that their 26-year-old mother, identified as Halima Cissé, welcomed all nine babies – 5 girls and 4 boys – in a single delivery in 2021.

The boys were named Mohammed VI, Oumar, Elhadji, Bah, while the girls were named Kadidia, Fatouma, Hawa, Adama and Oumou. Read here

Their father who is an officer in the Malian Army, Adelkader Arby, speaking in an interview with BBC Afrique, said all the babies are in good health.

“They’re all crawling now. Some are sitting up and can even walk if they hold on to something. They are still in the care of the clinic in Morocco where they were born,” he said, adding that their mother Halima, was also doing well.

“It’s not easy but it’s great. Even if it’s tiring at times, when you look at all the babies in perfect health, from right to left we’re relieved. We forget everything,” he added.

Mr Arby, who just returned to Morocco for the first time in six months with their first daughter, aged three, to reunite with his wife and the nonuplets, said they will throw a small party with the nurses and a few other people to celebrate the kids as they turn one.

Mrs Cissé and the kids are currently living in a “medicalized flat” owned by the owners of the Ain Borja clinic in Casablanca where the babies were born.

“There are nurses who are here, in addition to my wife, who help to take care of the children,” Mr Arby said.

“The clinic has given them a menu which says what to give them to eat at all times – night and day,” he continued.

He added that the babies have different personalities – while some are exceptionally quiet, others are noisy and cry a lot, while some others liked to be carried.

Mr Arby also appreciated the Malian government for its help, and revealed that many Malians are looking forward to seeing the babies with their own eyes.

Praying for couples trying to have children, he said, “I hope God blesses everyone who doesn’t yet have children – that they can have what we, the parents of nonuplets currently have. It’s beautiful, a real treasure.”

Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has reacted after his logistics manager, Israel DMW, advised him to reduce his philanthropic activities.

The singer, who has given out millions of naira in charity and helped a lot of underground artistes rise to fame, took to his Instagram page to share a video in which Israel advised him to tone down his goodwill gestures.

According to Israel who is also a beneficiary of Davido’s good nature, people still drag the singer and criticize him because of his father’s wealth despite all his selfless donations to people in need.

He then advised the Omo Baba Olowo to stop helping people since they don’t appreciate him enough.

A young Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to cry out for help after she boarded a “one-chance taxi” in Kaduna.

In the tweet, the lady identified as @Lima_Modu on the micro-blogging platform, said she boarded a “one-chance” taxi in Kaduna and she and other passengers were being driven to a “dark place”.

The cry for help came at 12:08 am on Thursday, May 5, 2022.

“I just boarded a one chance taxi along Nmadi express way in kaduna, they are driving us into a dark place. Please I need help hglpflb”, her tweet read.

In an updated tweet moments ago, the lady revealed she was beaten, almost raped, and the attackers went away with her phone, but she survived the attack and was rushed to the hospital by some JTF guys.

“I was on a journey, our car keep developing issues which made up got into kaduna late, we were three coming to kaduna while the remaining passenger were going to kaduna, the three of us boarded the taxi and we all survived by the grace of the most Almighty….

I was rushed to the school clinic by some JTF guys, I was beating, I was almost raped, took everything including my phone, my acct was wiped even after pleading with them that the money was a loan for my business rather I got slapped. I am fine for now and will be off for a while.

The other guy was stabbed multiple times because he was dragging and trying to see we are safe, please include him in prayers, don’t know if he’s still alive or dead. ‘Barbaric act’- President Buhari condemns beheading of Nigerian Army couple in Imo

President Buhari has condemned the gruesome killing and beheading of two soldiers in Imo state.

Gloria Matthew and Audu Linus, who were beheaded over the weekend by unknown gunmen in Imo, had visited the state for their traditional marriage rites when they were attacked by the gunmen who shot at them before beheading them and shared photos and videos of their decapitated bodies on social media.

In a statement released on Wednesday evening by his media aide, Garba Shehu, President Buhari condemned the act, describing it as a “barbaric act”.

The statement reads in parts;

“On behalf of the government and the entire nation, President Muhammadu Buhari expresses deep condolences to the Nigerian Army and the families of Master Warrant Officer Audu Linus and his partner, Private Gloria Mathew, who were beheaded after being shot by the terrorist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Saturday as confirmed by the Nigerian Army.

The corpses were inhumanely treated and gleefully posted on social media platforms.

The President joins fellow citizens in expressing deep sense of shock and condemns the barbarism of the perpetrators of this unfortunate incident, and similar acts of violence against law enforcement agents, describing it as alien to all cultures and civilisations”

The statement added that the President has directed security agencies to “do their utmost in apprehending the perpetrators of these barbaric acts and bring them to justice”.

A Nigerian lady ias found dead in a hotel in Ebonyi state with her private part reportedly missing.

According to Channels, the lady who is rumored to be a commercial sex worker was said to have been found dead found on Monday, May 2, 2022, a day after she arrived the hotel located at G-Hostel Junction, Abakaliki, the state capital, with some men.

According to a source, “The lady went to see a guy that invited her to a hotel at Presco Junction, fast forward to the next day, she was found dead in the hotel room.

Her two hands were tied to the back, her legs were also tied and her face was blindfolded. Her private part cut off. The culprit is no where to be found but the police are on the matter.”

Speaking during a press conference on Wednesday in Abakaliki, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Loveth Odah, said investigations are on to uncover the circumstances that led to the untimely death of the young lady.

She assured the general public that the command will carry out a thorough investigation to get to the root of the matter, apprehend the culprits and bring them to book.

In a very unexpected move, Canadian rapper Drake responded to a troll who made an unpleasant comment about his son Adonis.

It all started when Tee Morant, father of American professional basketball player, Ja Morant, after a recent NBA playoff game, declared his son had performed like “crap,” a comment many deemed as “annoying.”

In contrast, Drake was among those who defended Tee Morant. In an Instagram comment, he opined that he would do the same if he were in his shoes.

“Imagine your son makes the league and he’s Ja Or Melo (Ball) or Lonzo (Ball) all you can do is be elated and competitive and over supportive and it’s a right of passage to that the OG’s talk s*** 😂😂😂😂. I know I’mma be this way even if my son is in a rubix cube competition 😎.” He wrote.

Kailia Posey, a 16-year-old pageant queen who appeared on the reality show “Toddlers & Tiaras” when she was 5 years old, reportedly took her own life.

The teenager’s mom, Marcy Posey Gatterman, broke the heartbreaking news of her daughter’s death in a Facebook post on Monday night, May 2.

“I don’t have any words or any thoughts. “A beautiful baby girl is gone,” Kailia’s mother, Marcy Posey Gatterman, wrote on Facebook.

A family source confirmed a day later that the teenager had committed suicide.

“Although she was an accomplished teenager with a bright future ahead of her, unfortunately in one impetuous moment, she made the rash decision to end her earthly life.

She won countless crowns & trophies after competing on the pageant circuit her entire life. Her highly acclaimed talent as a contortionist had already led to professional touring job offers, and she had recently been selected to be a cheerleader at her high school next fall.

Kailia also had a love for aviation that was taking her to possible get her flying license and eventually become a pilot. She will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace.” her family told TMZ.

Posey starred as a child actress in the TLC reality show from 2009 until 2013. She revealed on Instagram in January that she would compete as Miss Washington Teen USA in February.

Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi marks 18 years of living with HIV

Popular gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi, has taken to his social media page to mark his 18th year of living with HIV.

Reminiscing on how he discovered that he had the virus in a post shared on his Instagram page, Bisi disclosed that he was ashamed of his HIV status for years before he embraced and became vocal about it

According to him, HIV doesn’t kill but the stigma, shame and discrimination meted on people living with HIV is what kills.

The 47-year-old speaker further advised people to get tested and know their HIV status.

He wrote,

“Eighteen years ago, at the National AIDS conference in Abuja and with nudging from friends, I walked into a testing booth for the first time.

I walked out with HIV positive test result. Two years before then, I had just lost my best friend to AIDS, and he was around 26yrs.

I have been living with HIV since I was 29, this year I clocked 47.

Between 2004-2009, I kept quiet about my HIV status cos of shame and stigma.

Then I realised, HIV doesn’t kill, it is stigma, the shame and the discrimination that does.

Here is to 18yrs of positivity and many more years to come.

Sharing the photos, Bashir noted that growing up he didn’t have much fun with the governor as his grandchildren were enjoying him because he was always busy.

A new video of Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham seems to have fueled rumors of her being pregnant and expecting her second child with her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi.

The mother of one and her beau recently stepped out for an event, and she took to her Instagram page to share adorable photos and a video of them all dolled up. However, reacting to the post, fans noted that the thespian looked preggers and might be expecting another baby with her husband.

Nigerian music producer, Samuel Oguachuba popularly known as Samklef, has given his two-cents on why Wizkid has been bragging on social media lately.

A while ago, the Grammy-award winning artiste took to Snapchat to disclose that he was paid a million dollars to perform at the Rolling Loud concert in Toronto – a move a lot of people called bragging and questioned why he divulged that information because it’s a sharp contrast from his quiet and reserved lifestyle.

In an apparent reaction to this, Samklef went live on his Instagram page to share his perceived opinion on why Wizkid disclosed his earnings.

According to him, the 31-year-old singer is being pressured by his colleague in the entertainment industry, Burna Boy, who recently called himself the highest paid musician in Nigeria.

He asserted that Wizkid has been paid millions of dollars for a show in the past but never thought it necessary to post it online, and suddenly started doing it after Burna Boy made the claim.

Samklef concluded by saying there is “pressure” in the industry and Wizkid is being affected by it.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to narrate what became of a man after a woman cursed him for denying her pregnancy.

According to @jon_d_doe, the man put the lady in a family way when they were both teenagers and denied the pregnancy with the support of his mom and sister.

During labour, the aggrieved lady placed a curse on all of them and it ended up coming to pass.

He said the man and his sister never had children of their own and their mother died a horrible death. However, the man eventually had children in his 50s after seeking for the woman’s forgiveness.

@jon_d_doe went on to warn men against taking advantage of a lady’s innocence because they may live to regret it.

He tweeted,

“A man got a girl pregnant when they were teenagers.

His mother supported him when he denied the pregnancy.

Words had it that the lady, while in labor, used her finger to scoop some sweat drops on her thigh, licked it & placed a curse on him & one of his sisters that also supported him.

“He would never find peace in any woman he meets in future”.

“She will never have children of her own”.

Many years later, man got a wife. Wife was pregnant but suddenly became sick. She died with the baby & her burial was filled with a lot of chaos.

Sister, till date never had her own child. Wealthy & now in her 50s with an adopted child.

Man’s Mother died in some strange circumstances.

The love child is already a woman & married with her own children.

The uncanny resemblance with her father is unquestionable.

Man had to go seek for forgiveness with his kinsmen. He was already 50, no child, no wife.

Woman forgave him after so many pleas & pacification. Never married another man till date.

Man eventually found another woman & married her. His children are still toddlers but he’s in his 50s.

All these I just told you are true stories & close to home.

Don’t be too carefree with a woman. If you take advantage of a woman’s innocence, & she places a curse on you, you may live to regret it in future.

Not every woman can forgive easily. Especially if you caused her pain & put her in a family way then deny her. And you think she’ll clap for you? And you think you’ll go ahead and live your life without consequences?

The true story was hidden from the husband of the sister. He just assumed that they’re unfortunately unable to have children because Doctor says “nothing wrong with wife”. & man is committed to his wife & they’ve an adopted child as a “compensation”. Too late!

Reality show star and brand influencer, Angel Smith has said she can never go down on her knees to propose to a man.

Angel made this known while responding to a question on micro-blogging platform, Twitter, a lady defied the societal norm and proposed to her man in a crowded shopping mall.

In a seeming reaction to the viral proposal video in which the courageous lady got a YES from her partner, popular vlogger, Sisi Yemmie, threw a question at ladies, asking if they can also propose to their lovers.

Responding, the Big Brother Naija star averred that she would rather lick all the mud in a popular market in Lagos before proposing to a man.
