Luxury fashion brand, Balenciaga, has launched a new line of overly distressed sneakers, branded “Paris Sneaker”.

Following the unveiling of the couture company’s new Paris sneaker, photographs of badly damaged, degraded shoes photographed by photographer Leopold Duchemin for the brand have gone viral and elicited varying reactions online.

According to the official site, the sneakers are made using fully-destroyed cotton and rubber with ribs all over the fabric.

Only 100 pairs of “extremely wrecked” sneakers, according to the fashion brand, will be sold for $1,850 each (N1,091,500). Non-limited edition, less roughed-up versions, on the other hand, are priced between $495 and $625 on the Balenciaga website, depending on the design.

A policewoman has been praised on social media after she was filmed controlling traffic during a heavy downpour in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

The yet-to-be identified policewoman is seen in a video trending online, tenaciously executing her duty despite the rain.

The video was reportedly filmed on Tuesday, May 10, and the police officer has been applauded online for defying the rain.

A Nigerian lady has shared her husband’s hilarious reaction after she showered him with gifts on his birthday.

The lady took to social media to share a video which captured the moment she presented the gifts to her husband in celebration of his special day.

She went all out for her man to make his birthday memorable and gifted him a picture frame, shoes, perfume, wristwatch, boxers, and other gifts

The man couldn’t contain his emotions while unwrapping the presents and began to sing a gospel song happily.
