Popular Nollywood actress, Chioma Toplis, has said she wouldn’t be attending her father’s burial when he dies.

The thespian made this revelation while reacting to a Twitter user’s post narrating how he didn’t mourn his father’s death because he was a deadbeat who mistreated his mother.

“My father was an elder in the church. A proper Elder. That was at church. At home, he was wife beater. He once beat my mum with a wooden plank with nails. Tore her arm too with blood and all. He died 9 years ago, I still haven’t cried. Thanks everyone. She left him before he passed on. Thank God. She’s thriving now.” The tweet read.

The actress, who opened up that she had a similar experience vowed not to mourn or attend her father’s burial when he dies.

In her words,

“I thought we are the only ones that have a U$ELE$$ father. He is an Elder in the church too🙆‍♀️. We are in the same boat, my mother left my father too for many reasons ranging from Laziness, lousiness, cheating, senselessness, foolishness, beating in fact Everything bad. Do you know what? Teen grows 70cm tail from body, earning him the title ‘reincarnation of a god’

A 16-year-old boy, identified as Deshant Adhikari, has become an online sensation due to a 70cm long hairy tail growing from his body.

The teenager from Nepal, Asia, has left many stunned over the abnormal long tail growing from his coccyx, the bottom of the vertebral column, and has been dubbed a reincarnation of a god.

His parents first discovered the hairy appendage few days after his birth and took him to hospitals both home and abroad to seek help and possibly, treat the abnormal phenomenon but all to no avail.

Deshant said he used to hide his long tail from public glare because he was ashamed and embarrassed by it, but he has grown to accept it.

A local priest also allayed their fears and made them see the tail in a different light as he suggested that Deshant was the reincarnation of a god – the Monkey God.

Deshant granted an interview with a filmmaker identified as Puskar Nepal recently after a video of him went viral on TikTok and shared his story.

The filmmaker said,

“His parents didn’t know about his condition until they took him home from hospital five days after he was born.

“They took him to different local hospitals and even abroad seeking the proper treatment, but no effort could stop the tail from growing.

“Later they consulted the priests and they were told not to comb or use any tool to cut the tail.

“The priests even pointed out that the boy might possess some supernatural power as he might be the reincarnation of Lord Hanuman, the God of monkeys.

“They let the tail grow naturally thereafter and stopped looking for a treatment.”

The children of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, have recounted how their father allegedly maltreated their mother while she was alive.

The first son, in a conversation with his mum’s friend, Ene Ogbe, said his father, Peter Nwachukwu, was in the habit of beating the singer during little arguments.

Sharing details of her conversation with Osinachi’s children, Ene Ogbe said,

“By God’s grace I was in our beloved late sister’s house this evening again and am glad that he was actually arrested by the police.. But what baffles me is the way and manner he has polluted the children’s mind.

I had a chat with the first born and i almost started crying again. This boy told me the ordeal his mom has been going thru with his dad, how he beats her up in any little argument, he said anti my dad pushed my mom out of the car at night after wed service and bad boys snatched my mom bag that night how mom got home that night i cnt tell cos dad left her,people dashed my mom this two cars (pointed at them for me to see) but dad at times will say my mom shuld take bike while we go in the car, even when we are coming back from church my mom will stand under the sun and we will drive and pass her and we will wave at her, my dad told us that beating women is good.. I had to cut in the conversation and i told him is very very wrong to beat a woman and that God is against it and i really talk sense into him.. He said they are happy that their dad was arrested becos he shout beat them up too.. The second born sang for us too he has a golden voice like the mom.

The first said my mom always keep quiet for my daddy and she always forgive and now she has died and i told him not to worry as his mom is in heaven!!! May the soul of our beloved sister rest in peace and may God take care of her four kids she left behind Amen!!”

A Nigerian man has taken to micro-blogging website, Twitter to share the heartbreaking story of how he discovered that his girlfriend is cheating on him.

According to Francis, his Girlfriend told him she is travelling home for Easter and he even went to drop her at the park but unbeknowst to her, he’d already spied her phone and he uncovered a conversation she had with the man whom she was going to meet.

Female corps member killed in ghastly car accident

A serving corps member identified as Olaleye Bukola died in a ghastly car accident a few days ago.

It was gathered that late Bukola who was deployed to Imo state for her one year mandatory youth service, died in a fatal motor accident on her way to Kwara state on relocation after orientation. The driver lost control of the vehicle when they had almost gotten to Ilorin.

Family, friends, and colleagues of the young lady have taken to sc=social media to mourn her demise.

The Oyo State Coordinator of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Mrs. Grace Ogbuogebe, on Monday, April 11, paid a condolence visit to the family of the corps member.

Mrs Grace Ogbuogebe, who represented the NYSC Director-General, Major General Shuaibu Ibrahim, described the demise of the corps member as a great loss not only to the family but also to the NYSC.

This comes after five University of Uyo (UNIUYO) graduates reportedly died in a ghastly motor accident on their way to the NYSC orientation camp in Katsina.

The prospective corps members were on their to the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC orientation camp in Katsina state when their car reportedly tumbled in Abuja. While five of them died on the spot, others were severely injured and rushed to the hospital.

Three of the deceased have been identified as Miracle Asuquo, Stella Ekikor and Victor Akpan.

Nollywood actress, Georgina Onuoha, has berated Pastor Becky Enenche over a tweet that appeared to condemn divorce.

In the tweet, the Co-Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC) advised single men and women to “shine their eyes” before walking down the aisle. According to her, it’s important to be sure of who one is getting married to because divorce is not an option after marriage.

She further stated that divorce is not an option at all as it has an adverse effect on the children and can affect them for the rest of their lives. She opined that the majority of wayward children in society today are products of divorced homes.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Georgina Onuoha, who had an entirely different option, tackled the clergywoman’s stance on divorce. Onuoha noted that views like this are the reason most men and women remain in abusive marriages and relationships.

FCT police command moves late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu’s case to the SCID

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has transferred the case of the late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.

The 42-year-old ‘Ekwueme crooner’ passed away last Friday, April 8, in an Abuja-based hospital.

Following her death, her close friends/family members alleged that she died in the hospital while treating herself after her husband kicked her on the chest during one of his many physical attacks on her.

Subsequently, her Husband, Mr. Peter Nwachukwu was arrested on Sunday April 10, on grounds of suspected culpable homicide.

A new update from the FCT command says the matter has been moved to the homicide department of the SCIID where Mr Nwachukwu is now being detained

Anselm Madubuko, Senior Pastor of the Revival Assembly Church Lagos, has reacted to the death of popular Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu.

The 42-year-old mother of four breathed her last at a hospital in Abuja on Friday, April 8. Following her death, there have been claims that the singer was in an abusive marriage and was subjected to domestic violence by her husband.

Speaking in an interview with Vanguard, the singer’s sister, Favour Made, said her sister died as a result of a cluster of blood in the chest from the kicking she allegedly got from her husband, Mr. Peter Nwachukwu.

According to Made, the singer refused to leave her abusive marriage despite several pleas from her family because she felt that God was against divorce.

Reacting to her death in a Facebook post, popular clergyman, Anselm Madubuko, said, “Religion killed the singer.”

He also predicted that this incident would lead to more separations and divorces among couples.

“Religion killed OSinachi. Eisssh. Coming soon, separations and divorces. Brace up guys”. He wrote.

A US-based Nigerian lady has criticized popular singer, Wizkid’s American babymama, Jada Pollock for complimenting her son, Zion’s natural curly hair.

The talent manager had taken to the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter to share a video of her playing with her son’s hair and massaging his scalp with her fingers as she gushed over how healthy his hair looks.

Money ritual: Man kills his girlfriend in Lagos, sleeps with her corpse for six days as instructed by a native doctor

A young man, identified as Ifeanyi Njoku, has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his 24-year-old girlfriend, Precious Okeke, in an estate situated at Badore, in the Ajah area of Lagos State.

It was gathered that Njoku killed his girlfriend for ritual purposes and had sex with with her corpse as instructed by a native doctor who was helping him with the process.

He had slept with his girlfriend’s corpse for six corpse before the stench emanating from his apartment caught the attention of his neighbors and prompted them to report to the estate’s management.

An eyewitness who spoke with Punch said,

“The boy killed his girlfriend about six days ago, and he confessed that he wanted to use the girl for money rituals. He said he was told that he should have sex with his girlfriend’s corpse for seven days, but he was caught on the sixth day. Today (Monday) is supposed to make it the seventh day.

“The smell of the corpse had been disturbing neighbours in the compound and other residents. So, they called the estate chairman to help in confirming what was going on in the apartment and while searching the apartment, they found the girl’s body.

“The boy was arrested and taken to the Lamgbasa Police Station and during interrogation, he confessed that he killed his girlfriend six days ago.

“We learnt that the boy offered N6m to kill the case; we also learnt that he brought the girlfriend from the village and they just moved into the estate.”

The spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirming the incident disclosed that they were a live-in couple.

Hundeyin said;

“Two suspects, Ifeanyi Njoku and Mbam Atunmufor, 36, have been arrested. They have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, for further investigation. Njoku was the one that rented the apartment.”

A Nigerian lawyer, Honey G. Evarist, has revealed the inhumane and humiliating treatment that was allegedly meted out on late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, by her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.

The lawyer, who claimed to have visited the Police Command in Abuja, where Osinachi’s husband was with their four children, claimed that Peter held down his wife and forced their children to hit and stomp on her

“I’m Live in Police Command (FCT) Osinachi’s Killer husband is here with their 4 children. Do you know this man holds the singer down and makes the kids stomp on her and hit her? The female officers here are beyond livid.” The lawyer wrote.

It was earlier reported that the husband of gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, was arrested by the FCT police command.

Mr Nwachukwu was arrested by men of the Lugbe police division yesterday April 10 after the brother of the late singer reported a case of suspected homicide to the police. This comes amidst reports he has incessantly subjected the singer to domestic violence.

According to some allegations made by her close friends/colleagues, the late singer was placed on life support after her husband kicked her on her chest during a recent attack on her.

The management of the University of Lagos has raised an alarm after the body of an unidentified person was found floating on the shore of the UNILAG lagoon front.

In a series of tweets via the institution’s official Twitter page, it was stated that the body was spotted floating after the heavy downpour on Saturday, April 9.

“Important Notice The body of an unidentified individual was spotted floating on the shore of the University of Lagos Lagoon Front after the heavy rains of the morning of Saturday, April 9, 2022.

The Marine Police, a Unit of the Lagos State Police Command, was immediately notified for its action. Anyone who has any information that may be relevant to this incident are enjoined to inform the Police. The University of Lagos Management wishes to assure members of the University community and the public that the security of life and property of all students, staff and other members of its community are priority and the University will spare no efforts in safeguarding these.” The tweet read.

Daughter of Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Center, Deborah, has revealed that her dad had no knowledge of the alleged domestic violence singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, suffered in the hands of her husband who now is in police custody.

Late Osinachi was a member of Pastor Enenche’s church. In a post shared on her Facebook page, Enenche shared how her father has advocated against unhealthy marriage, adding that everything was done to ensure Osinachi was removed from her situation.

“My father has always been an advocate for removing oneself from a deeply unhealthy marriage. It is spread across the fabric of his ministry the clear fact that he has always ensured the weak are protected. It is not different in this situation.

Everything was done to ensure the departed was removed from her situation and in lieu of that, she was cared for as much as possible. Bear in mind that there was no knowledge of the physical abuse. If such had come to light, we wouldn’t be here.“

2023: “I have no son grown enough to declare” — Bola Tinubu says hours after Osinbajo declared his intention to run for president (video)

The national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has reacted to the presidential declaration of his protégé, Yemi Osinbajo.

On Monday morning, April 11, the Vice President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo, formally declared his intention to run for President in the forthcoming 2023 election on his official Twitter page.

“I am today, with utmost humility formally declaring my intention to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of APC.” He wrote in part.

Speaking on the declaration of his political godson, Osinbajo, for the presidency, Tinubu, while speaking with journalists after his meeting with APC governors on Monday, said “I don’t have any son grown up enough to make such declaration”.

“My mission here is to seek collaboration, support and encouragement of my party, the APC, for my ambition to become the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as replacement for President Muhammadu Buhari after his tenure”, he added.

Billionaire heiress and entertainer, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy, has taken to social media to show off her Minnie Mouse dolls collection.

The disc jockey in a post shared on her Instagram page, disclosed that she has been collecting the dolls for over 10 years and she has over 100 dolls in her collection.

She shared a video of the dolls which were carefully arranged on a shelf above her work area, and others used to beautify her home.

The 29-year-old media personality captioned it,

“MOST people don’t know this, but I’ve been a Minnie Mouse collector for OVER 10 years! 💕😅 I have over 100 dolls including special edition collector pieces @MinnieMouse.”

The reality star, who is married to fellow Big Brother Naija star, Kaffy, took to his Instagram page on Monday, April 11, to show off his new look.

Sharing the photos, the father of one revealed that this was his first clean shave in 17 years.

Family announces funeral arrangements for Doctor Chinelo Megafu, killed in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack

The family of young Nigerian doctor, Chinelo Megafu, who was killed in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack on March 28, have announced her burial arrangements.

The 29-year-old died from injuries she sustained during the terrorist attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday, March 28. She had tweeted during the attack, saying she had been shot and asked Nigerians to pray for her.

The family of late Chinelo have released an obituary detailing her funeral arrangements. She will be laid to rest in Lagos state on April 21 at the Ebony Private Cemetery, Ikoyi, after a funeral mass at Sheperdhill Baptist Church, Obanikoro.

The late Chinelo was said to have worked at St Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna, resigned in February, and was about to leave Nigeria when she met her death.

“Dr Chinelo was making an honest living, she was working she wanted more for herself and processed her papers to leave this hell-hole. She resigned last month to leave the country this Friday then this happened. Nigeria why???” Her friend tweeted.

A new video has emerged clearly showing the drama that ensued between Bianca Ojukwu, widow of late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, and former Anambra first lady, Ebele Obiano, in March.

It can be recalled that the women made headlines a few weeks ago after they had a squabble at the swearing-in ceremony of Chukwuma Charles Soludo as the governor of Anambra State.

Bianca was said to have been the first to become violent, slapping Ebele for invading her personal space. The new video, on the other hand, provides a clear, up-close view of what really transpired that day.

The new video shows Ebele Obiano walking up to Bianca, who was seated, and she began to verbally attack her. When she did not get a response as expected, she shoved Bianca’s head tie. This made the former beauty queen to get up from her seat to hit her back.
