A young man has been accused of severely beating his girlfriend till she almost became blind.
It was gathered that the latest incident happened on Tuesday, March 29, at their residence in Agodo Egbe, Lagos. A source familiar with the incident reports that the duo have been dating for six months.
The source said;
“He is always beating her over any small misunderstanding. We the neighbors don’t ever get peace of mind whenever he decides to unleash his inner ‘Jackie Chan’ on his girlfriend. We don’t know the hold he has on the girl for her not to leave the toxic relationship.”
Canada-based Nigerian comedian, MC Morris, has removed singer Portable from his forthcoming show in Canada over his recent managerial saga.
Recall that the Zazu zeh star recently fired all his crew members including his manager, DJ and show promoter over their constant demand for money and claims of being cheated by them.
In reaction to the scandalous event, MC Morris has yanked his name off the performers at his show in May 2022.
Taking to his Instastory to make the announcement, the comedian said he has also written to the Immigration office to deny Portable’s visa so he won’t be able to travel to Canada for the show.
He wrote,
“For those that are asking why I removed idamu adugboyin from my May 22 show. Talent is not enough, a beautiful song without a beautiful attitude is a beautiful nonsense. Two managers in less than a year, even sack innocent DJ that his job na to play song and scratch shaka shaka. I cannot koshi mero am sorry.
All transaction cancelled and ijoba danku am sorry, no one should use my invite pls, I already wrote to immigration to deny the visa.”
Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has sacked his entire music team.
The singer made this disclosure in a video he shared on his official Instagram page, while he warned the public against further dealings with them on his behalf.
He accused his music promoter, Ijoba Danku, his disc jockey, and his manager, among others, of allegedly showing him fake love. Portable added that he needs a new music team, and this time there will be legal documents to bind their contracts.
Sharing the video, he wrote
“I gat money and I still need more people to help una too dey show me fake love why are you sending people that need help from me away CEO Dr zeh dey para make everyone come sign if we go still dey work together ZAzuu”.

This comes after a Nigerian freelance journalist, Taiwo Alabi, sparked debate on Twitter after he stated that fast-rising Nigerian singer, Portable, needs rehab.\
In a tweet that has stirred mixed reactions from fans of the Zazu Zeh star, Alabi noted that the singer should be in rehab and not performing at shows.
Alabi further stated that drugs have ruined Portable, so he’s damaged and needs help.
“They gave Portable money and fame but ignored the fact that the dude is damaged and needs help, Drugs has ruined the guy, he needs to be in rehab not perfiming a shows”. Taiwo Alabi tweeted.
Nigerian comedian, I Go Save, has replied to talent manager, Ubi Franklin, after the latter vowed that henceforth anyone who makes a joke about him and his kids will get the Will Smith treatment.
Shortly after the video of American actor Will Smith slapping Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife, Jada Pinkette, at the Oscars went viral, Ubi took to his Instagram page to call out comedian Bovi for a joke about him and his kids while hosting the Headies in 2021.
Reacting, the comedian, I Go Save, took sides with his colleague, Bovi. He noted that some celebrities have seized the Will Smith incident to trend.
Referring to Ubi’s comment about a joke Bovi made about him a year ago, I Go Save, who emphasized that comedy is to correct social vices, said anyone who gets a girl pregnant, abandons her, and does not pay child support must be used as content for jokes.
Maureen Esisi a.k.a Red Vigor, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor, Blossom Chukwujekwu, has replied a follower who claimed she’s still in love with her ex-husband.
She had taken to her Instagram page to state that true growth happens when one’s ex-partner is no longer their type. However the follower asserted that Maureen is seemingly still in love with Blossom due to her post about ex-partners.
“True Growth is when your Ex isn’t even your type anymore.
Let that sink in,” Maureen captioned her post.

A former Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Ibrahim Wakkala, sustained gunshot injuries in Monday’s train attack by terrorists along Kaduna-Abuja.
An aide to the former Deputy Governor, who confirmed the report, told Channels Television that Wakkala who was returning from the APC National Convention, was shot during the gun battle between the terrorists and the military.
Yusuf Idris, the spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, said the ex-Deputy Governor was initially abducted by the terrorists during the attack and was successfully rescued by the combined forces of DSS and Military.
In his words;
“He was initially abducted but was rescued by the DSS and military, it was during the process he sustain gunshot injury in the leg. He is very okay now, he is receiving treatment at the hospital in Kaduna state.”.
A Nigerian lady has expressed so much anger at a particular set of people, as she made a video and shared it online… the video has of course, caused a stir on social media.
The young lady in the video, fumed at younger brides who automatically become swollen-headed after they get married and fail to show respect to people much older than them because of their new status.

Unknown Gunmen attacked a Kaduna-bound training carrying hundred of passengers on Monday Evening. The train reportedly left Abuja at about 6 P.M and it was attacked between Katari and Rijana.
Presidential aide, Bashir, did not release any tweets to address the death and kidnapping of passengers on the train. Instead, he tweeted about a dialogue that Buhari will be attending today.
This angered many Nigerians who took to the platform to call him out for ignoring the pressing issue to advertise a program where the president is the special guest of honor.

National Football League (NFL) free agent, Antonio Brown, has threatened to expose a model if she doesn’t pay back the sum of $5,000 she ‘owes’ him.

Friends, family and social media users have continued to mourn the death of the young Nigerian doctor, Chinelo, who died from injuries sustained during the terrorist attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday night.
A friend of the deceased, Steph Adamu, revealed that Chinelo, who worked at St. Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna, resigned last month and was scheduled to leave this country this Friday.
“Dr Chinelo was making an honest living, she was working she wanted more for herself and processed her papers to leave this hell-hole. She resigned last month to leave the country this Friday then this happened. Nigeria why???” Her friend tweeted.
Chinelo had tweeted during the attack, on Monday night, March 28 saying she had been shot and asked Nigerians to pray for her.
“I’m on the train. I have been shot. Please pray for me.” She wrote.
Sadly, a colleague, Dr Michael Ajidahun, shared the news of her death this morning, March 29.
