“I learnt how to do money rituals through Facebook” – 18 year old who killed his lover in Ogun confesses

The 18-year-old lad, Soliu Majekodunmi, who connived with three of his friends to murder his girlfriend, Sofiyah, for suspected money ritual purposes has confessed to learning the practice through Facebook.

Soliu was paraded before newsmen on Monday, January 31, where he revealed that he typed “how to make money ritual” on Facebook and got the detail, adding that the link instructed him to behead and burn a female skull in a local pot.

Majekodunmi went on to reveal that he conspired with his friend, Mustakeem Balogun, and two others to lure Sofiyah to their apartment in the Oke Aregba area of Abeokuta, where she was killed.

The group confessed to killing the girl, claiming they concluded on money ritual because they wanted to ride exotic cars and live in luxury apartments. The suspects also added that they purchased three pigeon eggs known as ‘Eyin Aparo’ in Yoruba language and other fetish ingredients which they added in the local pot.

A lady identifed as Black Cinderella has taken to her Instagram page to call out Nigerian Singer, Portable with accusations of sexual harassment and assault.

According to the Lady’s post, some young girls were invited to come “CHILL And DRINK”, it got to a point where the young young girls grew uncomfortable with the fact that they were being filmed and they asked to leave.

Black Cinderella then alleged that Portable and his management refused to let these girl go, as they locked them up and accused them of stealing Portable valuables.

She shared a two-part video that showed the moment the girls had a scuffle with Portable’s team and wrote ;

For me to come out and fight @portablebaeby and his management team is because of the things that they have done and hasn’t come out to the public.

This were young girls they invited to chill and drink. The girls were uncomfortable with being recorded and posted . They were uncomfortable with The language and the disrespect and they demanded to go back home as the agreement wasn’t to sleep with portable and his people. Only for them to be locked up , harassed, insulted and accused of stealing Portable valuables .. A drama unfolded and The kenyan girls showed them there’s no room for them to be intimidated.

She didn’t agree to it and they were threatened that they will be thrown out of the moving car and other girls to be called because he’s a celebrity. To add salt into the injury Portable aassaulted her physically while in the house. Lets be very honest .. this is not how to treat women and even Nigerian girls he dare not do this to them. The man, simply identified as Afolabi, took to popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to share his discovery as he bemoans his predicament.

Afolabi with handle @afowdafow tweeted, “This is not cruise or funny I found out that the woman I want to get married to is smoking weed.”

This has stirred mixed reactions on social media as some netizens advise him on the next step to take. While some advised him to go on with the wedding since he can help her quit smoking, others said smoking is a big red flag and he shouldn’t overlook it.

Some others opined that smoking is not a big deal and it’s better than engaging in other vices like prostitution.

The Kenyan lady who fast-rising Nigerian singer, Portable, rudely spoke to in a video trending online has finally broken her silence.

It was earlier reported that the Zazu Zeh star turned down a “hookup” proposal from a lady at an outdoor spot in Mombasa, Kenya.

Portable is heard telling the lady who approached him while he was out with his friends that she should go with her big butt because they weren’t there for hookup.

“We are not here for hookups. You can go, go with your big ny@sh ” He said.

Sharing her side of the story, the lady identified as Peris in a message she sent to the Instagram log, IB9JA, said that, contrary to Portable’s claim, she had met him for an interview for her Youtube Channel.

“I had only approached him for an interview for my YouTube channel. All of a sudden they started saying some things I couldn’t understand so I had to take my leave. I don’t know why Portable and his friends recorded that video and insinuated I approached them for hookup. I only approached them for an interview”. She said.

According to her, the same thing that happened with the pregnancies she lost almost happened again but this time, she decided to hold on to God and he didn’t fail her.

“This will definitely trigger my emotions,the plan was to close/open my eyes and make it all disappear but then again I thought to myself, Mabel you have to encourage someone out there.

Three miscarriages with no medical explanations as to the reasons why. It was the same pattern as before,every single thing that happened with the others, happened again, only this time more but I was determined to hold on tight to God and not fail.

Anal bleeding, threatened miscarriage, difficulty in breathing, I wasn’t psychologically and mentally stable and that was the hardest part for me, my emotions were all over the place, taking a deep breath in and out to stop myself every time I felt the urge to just break down and cry, struggling within not to blame myself for not protecting and fighting for the survival of the babies I lost, placenta separation, weak uterus.

Truthfully I was exhausted, how I got here today is not something that I can explain but I just know that God was and is still with me and Ayomide,for this we are eternally grateful 🙏

You are God all by yourself and you will never share your glory with anyone.

An alleged N2000 cash prize awarded by Kogi State University to its first class graduates has sparked reactions from Nigerians on social media.

A Twitter user who claimed to have witnessed the presentation of the awards, posted a snapshot of the cheque and captioned it, “This was at a recent convocation at Kogi State University. N2000 was given to all first-class graduating students and N5000 to the overall best graduands.”

In reaction, Nigerians compared the prizes given by the school to reward academic excellence to the grand prize winners of popular reality show, Big Brother Naija, walks home with.

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has splashed millions of naira on a brand new Toyota Venza for his personal logistics manager, Isreal DMW.

Sharing a video which captured the moment an overly excited Isreal received the car keys, the music executive commended him for his loyalty.

“Loyalty pays @isrealdmw love you”, Davido captioned the video.

In the video that was shared online, Israel, who couldn’t contain his joy, prostrated for his boss, laid on the car at some point, and even attempted to lift his boss off his feet in appreciation.

The latest car owner also took to his Instagram page to announce his latest achievement.

It can be recalled that the singer took to social media to publicly apologize to his wife for cheating on her in 2021. However, the lady he cheated with disclosed that the affair resulted in a pregnancy and she intends to keep the baby.

Following the heat that emanated from the affair, Sammie Okposo went on a social media hiatus and deactivated all his accounts.

Well, the singer has now made a comeback on Instagram with a new photo of himself, while noting that there’s no condemnation in Christ.

According to him, Jesus is still crazy about him and He loves him just the way he is.

A blind Nigerian man has allegedly been burnt to death by his younger brother over ownership of a piece of land in Anambra state.

The victim identified as Mr. Mmaduabuchi Nnofu, who is said to be the Coordinator of Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities, JONAPWD, Aguata branch, and the first male child of his family was reportedly killed by his younger brother, Mr. Onyedika Nnofu, who is said to be the last male child of their family.

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Sunday, January 30th, 2022, at Eziagulu village, Ekwulobia in Aguata Local Government Area.

According to a source who spoke to Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS), the suspect has been in conflict with Mmaduabuchi for a long time over the land, and has on different occasions threatened to kill him if he doesn’t leave the land.

Around 12 noon on Sunday, it was discovered that Mmaduabuchi was allegedly whacked and burnt beyond recognition by the said younger brother, Onyedika.

According to reports, angry youths of the community almost lynched the suspect to death before the police intervened and took him into custody.

The deceased was described as a vibrant leader in the disability community and someone who can never hurt a soul.

A heavily pregnant Ghanaian woman recently gave birth to her baby on a flight to Washington, DC from Accra, Ghana.

It was gathered that the woman who was supposed to be due by late February went into labour onboard the airplane “34,000 feet above sea level”.

A Ghanaian doctor practicing in the US, Dr. Ansah-Addo, who was also on the flight, helped the woman to safely deliver her baby, a bouncy boy.

Media personality, Nancy Adobea Anane, better known as Ms. Nancy, who was also onboard the United Flight UA 977, shared a video of the event on her official Instagram page.

The video she shared showed the new mum breast-feeding her baby.

Sharing the video, Nancy wrote,

“On board @united Flight UA 977 today,a lovely baby boy was born. The baby Who was due late February decided to arrive 34,000 ft above sea level. Dr. Ansah-Addo a Ghanaian practicing in the USA made himself available when the pilot called for assistance of medical personnel on board. With assistance from the whole United crew ,a bouncy baby boy was delivered 2hours to landing.

The flight was met on arrival by paramedics upon landing at the Washington Dulles international airport. The baby and his mother GG are currently under medical care.”

A 70-year-old man simply identified as Leo has reportedly dug his own grave, bought his casket and refreshments in preparation for his burial.

In a chat with AfriMaxTV, Leo said he decided to make all the preparations for burial now that he’s still alive because he doesn’t want his corpse to be a burden to anyone. He added that members of his community are poor and find it hard to raise money to bury their dead.

AfriMaxTV also revealed that Leo got cement and bricks for his grave and paid for his pallbearers in advance.

Leo, who has nine wives, noted that he has been using his time to celebrate his remaining days on earth as he’s certain that his end is near and he wants to prepare in any way he can.

In other news, a man who had been stricken with grief over a loss was, today, stopped from entering the grave of his bosom friend, Comrade Godgift, during his burial in Bayelsa.

The funeral held at the Yenagoa Cemetery, Azikoro, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

When netizens queried her for embarking on the daredevil adventure despite the security challenges in the North, Fehintoluwa said she was very careful and fortunately, she didn’t encounter any problem on the road.

Popular Instagram skit maker, Adebayo Ridwan, better known as Bae U, has reacted after he was called out for allegedly demanding sex from ladies before featuring them in his skits.

The comedian is currently trending on Twitter, with over 10,000 tweets in the last 24 hours, after some ladies who claimed to be his victims spoke up with receipt of their chat with the him.

Another lady also took to Twitter to narrate how Bae U caused a huge fight between her and her ex-boyfriend after he ‘lured’ her into having sex with him.

Reacting to these allegations in a video he shared on his official Instagram page, Bae U said he has been heartbroken and weak since the incident. He noted that he had received every stone thrown at him and blamed himself for the scandal.

Sharing the video, he wrote, “I have Learnt, I am Learning and I will do Better …. Nevertheless , I say Alhamdulilahi 🙏”.

Miss USA 2019, Cheslie Kryst, has died from suicide at the age of 30.

The former beauty queen and lawyer reportedly jumped from the 60-storey Orion building at 350 W. 42nd Street in the early hours of Sunday, January 30.

Kryst, who lived on the ninth floor of the building, was last seen on a terrace on the 29th floor and she was said to have been alone when she leapt to her death.

Few hours before she jumped, Kryst took to her Instagram page to share a photo of herself with the caption, “May this day bring you rest and peace.”

Her family has confirmed the devastating news in a statement that reads,

“In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie.

“Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.

“Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on EXTRA.

“But most importantly as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague — we know her impact will live on.”

According to the police, Kryst left a note giving everything to her mother but she didn’t explain why decided to take her own life.

Man caught stealing in a church, hides loot in the church’s toilet (video)

A young Nigerian man identified as Ebuka Iheanacho has been caught stealing from unsuspecting churchgoers in Lagos state.

A video that’s currently serving the rounds online captured the moment the suspect was being interrogated by church members who caught him.

Upon being interrogated he confessed to the crime and also revealed that his mother comes to the church to beg.

It was gathered that the he kept the items he stole in a room in the church. He stole some phones and then hid a bag in a toilet in the building.

The church members interrogating him, said they will be taking him to the police station to report the case.

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to lament bitterly after a laser treatment she underwent to remove her tribal mark left her with more scars.

Taking to TikTok to share a video of her face before and after the laser treatment, the lady said she was told that the procedure would remove her tribal mark completely with no scars.

However, after she underwent the procedure in December 2021, she was left with more scars.

She said that after she questioned the people who did the laser treatment about the injury she sustained, she was assured that it would clear off within 3 days.

According to her, contrary to what was promised, the injury turned to dark scars weeks after. She added that they asked her to return for another treatment, but she refused and is now requesting a refund.

Billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has said that access to wealth does not guarantee happiness or peace of mind.

Recall that the 29-year-old recently spoke about battling depression and being body-shamed, among other things, while baring her heart during an Instagram live session with reality star, Kiddwaya.

She noted that at some point she battled depression, but no one believed her because they saw her as a rich kid with no problems.

Reacting to this, a fan identified as Asiwaju said that it was insightful to see Cuppy speak about her displeasure despite “having it better”.

Big Brother Naija star and actor, Thelma Belema, has recounted her experience as a child growing up in an abusive relative’s home.

Taking to her official Twitter page to narrate the ugly experience, Thelma said that growing up she lived with a relative and they treated her badly.

She narrated how the wife, who was HIV positive, spat in her mouth at a time and how the couple would flog her mercilessly for no reason.

She said she was eventually removed from the abusive environment after a concerned relative informed her mother of what she was going through.

She further revealed that a few weeks after she left their home, the couple died of HIV.

“Years ago when I was a kid staying with a relative of mine, she was married and was living with her husband but no child. This woman would flog me koboko in the night for no reason and the husband would wake me up with koboko in the morning telling me it’s his turn…” She wrote in part.
