Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade, has replied to a Twitter user who advised her to collaborate with her female colleagues this year to boost her career.
The Twitter user who gave this advice to the singer noted that the Nigerian music industry is male-dominated and barely gives room for female artistes to thrive.
According to him, to boost her career, the Johnny crooner should endeavor to collaborate with other female artistes, especially Tiwa Savage.
In his words,

In other news, Bobrisky, has hinted on his plans to undergo another cosmetic surgery.
The crossdresser made this known via his official Snapchat handle while lamenting the transition of his body following a Brazilian Butt Lift surgery (BBL) last year.
According to him, there’s a build up of fat on his face as a result of the butt lift surgery, so he plans to take it out through a face lift and buccal fat remover surgery.

Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has blamed President Buhari for the Super Eagles’ loss to Tunisia at the African Cup of Nations yesterday.
The Nigerian Super Eagles team were knocked out of the tournament after losing 1 – 0 to Tunisia in the Round of 16 on Sunday night, January 23, when Youssef Msakni scored with a long-range shot in the 47th minute.
Reno in a video he shared on social media blamed the president for the defeat.
Prior to the start of the match, the president had called the players to motivate them and enjoined them to make the country proud.
According to Reno, he had warned the Nigerian Football Federation against allowing the president to speak to the Super Eagles, as he was certain the call would affect their performance.
He also blamed the president for Anthony Joshua’s last defeat to Oleksandr Usyk because the boxer had met him before the bout.

11-year-old rape victim discharged from hospital after giving birth to baby boy in Benue
Victoria Ajeh, an 11-year-old rape victim has been discharged from a hospital in Makurdi, Benue after giving birth to a baby boy.
The minor was allegedly raped and impregnated by Uncle-in-law, Joseph Adoyi, a guard with the Benue State University (BSU) who is said to be in his mid 50s.
Facebook user, Andrew Obeya, who has been supporting the minor, shared the update on Saturday, January 22.
“Victoria Ajeh is back home to her reality. This picture breaks my heart: A baby begets her own baby. The baby in the background (on the bed by her side) is her younger sibling that was born on Christmas day,”.

Missing mother of two in Lagos found dead, her body allegedly mutilated and buried by her trado-medical doctor
Mercy Henry, the mother of two who was reported missing in Lagos state, has been found dead.
Mercy was declared missing in December 2021, after she left her home to see a trado-medical doctor in Ijegun, a suburb in Lagos state.
When Mercy did not return as expected, her family in despair, began to call all her friends and one of them named Ayo who resides in Port Harcourt, informed them that on that same day, Mercy called her asking for a N30, 000 loan. According to Ayo, Mercy told her that she was ill and needed the money. Ayo told the family that the money left her account by 1.59pm on the same day and that by 2.02pm, Mercy’s phone was turned off and had remained switched off.
The police then used the information to trace the account she sent the money to and the recipient was ‘Mayowa’ who happened to be Mercy’s Trado-medical doctor. Mercy had given birth to one of her daughters with the assistance of Mayowa.
When interrogated, Mayowa claimed to have seen Mercy four years ago when she came to his traditional birth center to deliver a baby girl. However, his phone history and chats showed that he and Mercy spoke on December 15 at about 9:00p.m.
According to the Mercy’s younger sister, Promise, who confirmed her death, Mayowa confessed to killing Mercy after one of the other three persons arrested in connection with her disappearance confessed that they killed her. The suspect led the police to his backyard where he had mutilated her body, packed them into sacks, and then buried them.
Mercy is survived by two daughters aged five and three years old.

American actress, Regina King’s only child, Ian Alexander Jr. has tragically taken his own life at 26.
The award-winning actress, 51, confirmed the tragic news to PEOPLE on Friday, January 21, with a statement reading: ‘Our family is devastated at the deepest level by the loss of Ian. He is such a bright light who cared so deeply about the happiness of others…
‘Our family asks for respectful consideration during this private time. Thank you.’
Despite her growing success as an actor and director, Regina said at the time that Ian was her biggest source of pride. After separating from Ian’s father in 2007 after nine years of marriage, King admitted being a single parent wasn’t always easy, but that nothing is stronger than her love for her son.

Ekuma Jeremiah Iziogo, the young Nigerian guy whose life took a turn for the better after a video of him giving handouts to prisoners inside a correctional vehicle went viral, made a visit to his former hustle area.
In a video that was shared online, Jeremiah is seen interacting with other street hawkers who recognized him and were quite happy to see how transformed his life has been in only a matter of weeks.
He paid the visit shortly after he finally met Billionaire and CEO of Cubana Group, Obi Cubana, who after seeing his video, promised him a university scholarship and automatic employment upon graduation.
Meeting with his former colleagues, Jeremiah gave money to each of the hawkers from the little he has made so far and had a chat with them briefly.

I’m happy being married but sometimes I miss bachelorhood – Singer, D’Banj
Nigerian singer, Dapo Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj, has disclosed that he sometimes misses being single.
The ‘Kokomaster’ stated this after being unveiled as a judge on popular singing reality show, Nigerian Idol.
According to D’Banj, he decided to get married when he did because he had gotten to a point where he needed stability in his life and his bestfriend as a partner.
He however noted that although he is happy being married, he sometimes misses being a bachelor.
The 41-year-old singer said;
“It is very important for me when I say that I am so happy I got married for the right reason. There are reasons people do certain things and if one does it for the wrong reason, it would affect one. I got to a stage in my life when I needed to grow an empire and in order for one to do that, one has to be stable and have a best friend as a partner. One also has to be true to oneself.
I pray to God a lot and the Bible says, ‘He who finds a wife, finds a good thing’. I got married to my best friend, who knows and understands everything about me. Because of that, we could grow together. Yes, once in a while, one misses those days (of being a bachelor). But, I am happy because that is the difference between Dapo Oyebanjo and Dbanj, the Koko Master. Whenever I get on stage anywhere, I become the Koko Master. It (marriage) has not reduced the amount of kokolets (ladies) that flock around me and rush to the stage. However, one has to be committed to one person and that is what life is.”
D’Banj, who has never been a judge on a music reality show, also explained why he accepted to be a judge on Nigerian Idol.
“This is the first time I would be a judge (on a music reality show). I have done several things through the years but this is the first time I would be doing something like this.
“I accepted the offer because first, I am a Nigerian. Secondly, I think there is no better time than now because of the growth of the industry. The growth of the industry is such that it is important for us to embrace what God has given us. This is a journey we have been on for over a decade and we have been accepted globally. That is why it is important to ‘grow’ what is on the ground,” he said.

Ayrr Star came to limelight 2021 as she released an Extended Play and an Album that cemented her place as one of the fast-rising Entertainers in Nigeria.
Her smash hit ‘Bloddy Samaritan’ from her latest album garnered so much success and streams that one would not believe she’d only been in the music industry in just a year.
The 19-year-old took to her social media page to share a video wherein she appreciated God, Don Jazzy and everybody that has supported her sound from the onset.
