A Nigerian Twitter user has taken to the micro-blogging platform to narrate how her friend discovered that her boyfriend of 5 years had been married for 7 years.
According to the lady identified as @Chrisssssy_Payn, her friend got to know her bae of 5 years was married when he took to his WhatsApp status to celebrate his wife on their 7th wedding anniversary.
@Chrissssy_ Payn said the man in the post showered his wife with encomiums and even bragged that she had been the only woman in his life.

Reality TV star and serial entrepreneur, Mercy Eke, has stated that she wishes to experience pregnancy at the right time.

A Nigerian lady, identified as Nara Ozim, is currently trending on Twitter after she made a comeback months after allegedly falsely accusing a photographer of sexual assault.
Sometime in 2021, Nara took to Twitter to allege that the photographer sexually assaulted her during a photoshoot.
However, the photographer came out shortly to defend himself with a “video proof”, while stating that he was only directing her pose, not “tapping current” like she claimed. He also threatened to file a lawsuit against her for falsely accusing him.

Nigerian clergyman, Apostle Kassy Chukwu, has tackled popular Nigerian pastor, David Ibiyeomie, for laying a curse on Yahoo boys.
It can be recalled that the Port Harcourt-based cleric during a recent sermon in his church placed a curse on internet fraudsters, popularly known as “Yahoo boys,” that they would have an accident in the cars they bought with the money they made from scamming people.
Reacting to this, in a video now making the rounds online, Apostle Kassy berates the founder of Salvation Ministries for placing a curse on the young boys.
According to Apostle Kassy, none of the curses placed on the internet fraudsters by Pastor David would work. He noted that everywhere is peaceful and no cult clashes are recorded because the boys have something they are engaged in.
“Wetin concern you concern Yahoo people? Are they the problem of Nigeria? He should stop talking like that. That prayer will not work! You cannot curse Yahoo boys. At all! Precious Chikwendu, estranged wife of politician, Femi Fani-Kayode, has written an emotional note to her first son as he turns a new age today, February 1.
Taking to her Instagram page, the mum of four shared a video slideshow of the moments she shared with her son before she parted ways with his father, FFK, and recounted how he allegedly physically assaulted her when their son was barely 4 months.

Nigerian singer and billionaire heiress, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy, has taken to Twitter to lament about being single.
The 29-year-old disc jockey shared her frustration shortly after news of Rihanna’s pregnancy broke out on social media.
Reacting to the news which got netizens rejoicing online, DJ Cuppy stated that the 33-year-old Barbadian singer is pregnant while she’s still single to stupor.

A 22-year-old man, identified as Aliyu Abdullahi, has been arrested by the Katsina State Police Command for defrauding an unsuspecting old woman of her gratuity using her ATM card.
Abdullahi, who has been described as an unrepentant ATM fraudster, is said to specialize in defrauding unsuspecting members of the public by swapping their ATM cards. He said he was once arrested but was bailed out by his lawyer after spending one month in prison.
He confessed to having deceitfully swapped the ATM card of one Maryam Sale, of Sharar Pipes in Katsina metropolis, withdrawing her gratuity and lifetime savings, amounting to the sum of one million, eight hundred and forty-six thousand naira (N1,846,000).
He further revealed that he bought a car and motorcycle from the money.
“I was at the ATM to make a withdrawal when she came in Keke NAPEP and asked me to help her withdraw N10,000 from her account using her ATM. Before withdrawing the money, I checked her account balance and saw that there was good money inside. Immediately I withdrew the money for her, I swapped her ATM card with mine. After she left, I proceeded to a POS and started withdrawing the money. It took me three days to clear the money in the account completely. I bought a car, Accord for N500,000 and a brand new motorcycle for N350,000 from it and I spent the rest on other frivolities.” He told news men.
Popular Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay, has revealed that she was aware that international popstar, Rihanna is pregnant and expecting her first child since last year.

Jennifer Douglas, the estranged wife ex-Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has confirmed that her marriage to the politician is over.
She made this known in a statement released by Punch as she addressed claims that she divorced Atiku because he got married to another woman. According to her, she knew he was entitled to more than one wife as a Muslim.
Explaining the real reason for the divorce, Mrs Jennifer disclosed that they had a disagreement over her decision to stay back in London with their children.

“The core reason for the divorce was disagreement over my continued stay in the United Kingdom, to look after my children and several other long-standing issues. I needed to play the role of a mother at this time to the children who have gone through the absence of both father and mother growing up; especially, with the passage of my elder sister who used to look after them. A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to share her weird experience after her car broke down on 3rd Mainland Bridge, Lagos.
According to @sokaagu on Twitter, she and her friend who was in the car with her, was accosted by some thugs on the bridge who collected their money, disconnected her battery and used a POS machine to collect more money from her – all this while threatening to assault her.
She said after they finished robbing them, the guys told her they are not thieves and she was supposed to “settle them”.
She said the same guys went on to return her phone and helped her fix her car before making away with their money.

Nigerian video director, Buari Olalekan Oluwasegun, professionally known as Unlimited LA, has reacted to the spate of ritual killing cases in the country.
Taking to his official Twitter handle on Monday, January 31, the cinematographer said it’s high time young boys were made to understand that people make money through legitimate means.
“I think it’s time we let these young boys understand that honest/legit workers are also making money too. We just too busy to show off Before dem use everybody do rituals finish”. He tweeted.
This comes after an 18-year-old boy connived with three of his friends to kill his girlfriend for money ritual purposes in Ogun state.
While being paraded by news men the suspects who confessed to the crime said they learnt the practice on Facebook.
The four young boys said they concluded on money ritual because they wanted to ride exotic cars and live in luxury apartments.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to narrate his encounter with a teenage boy who came to a local restaurant in a Benz and offered to pay for everyone’s food.
According to the man identified as Okoye Cardinal, he visited his favourite Ofe Akwu joint to buy food when the boy, who he claims should be in his teens, pulled up in a Benz.
Okoye said that upon arriving at the joint, the teenager announced that he would pay for the food of everyone present, but he (Okoye) declined the offer.
He said he declined the offer because he doesn’t know the source of the boy’s wealth and didn’t want to be a victim of money ritual, as it might be a new tactic.
Narrating the incident, he wrote,
“This morning I went to my favourite ofe akwu joint to buy food, this boy with clean red Benz that have not reached 19 years told the food seller to calculate everybody’s bill that he will pay. I told the woman not to add my bill in front of the boy. No be me una go use top money.”
A 24-year-old man identified as Kwasi Peters has reportedly lost one of his testicles after being shot by a fetish priest during a fight at Dwenewoho in Ahafo Ano, South West District of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
It was said that the fight ensued after Kwasi accused the priest of sleeping with his wife. Kwesi, while speaking with the media at Dwenewoho, said he confronted the priest after seeing him with his wife in compromising positions on several occasions.
“I never believed rumours about the affair between the priest and my wife until I saw the two going on errands on several occasions mostly around 11 p.m. in the night.
“I confronted him when my wife’s attitude confirmed her affair with the priest but he shot me in the process.
This is not the first time he’s sleeping with a married woman, we have evidence of his acts in our community and so I could not sit down for him to destroy my marriage”. He said.
The priest has been arrested and currently detained at Mankranso Police pending further investigation.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, has said that a post-mortem test carried out on the body of Fadlullah Agboluaje, the 19-year-old Nigerian student who died a day after arriving in Ukraine, revealed that he died of extreme cold.
The sister of the deceased had taken to social media to call on the government to investigate his death after he was found dead on the floor of his room on Monday, January 10, barely a day after he arrived Ukraine.
Speaking on Monday, January 31, during a condolence visit to the family, Abike Dabiri-Erewa confirmed that the autopsy result showed the teenager died of extreme cold, adding that the school shouldn’t have accommodated the Nigerian in a facility that exposed him to such weather.
“The autopsy says he died of extreme cold, but how could they have lodged the boy in a hostel without a heater? Looking at the pictures of the room, he was put in a deplorable condition and there were no heaters in the room, in a temperature which is below 4°,” she said.
“I’m sure if they had informed him earlier, he would have brought his own heater. I’m here today and we will stand by the family and whatever it is, we can do to support the family on whatever decision they take on this matter.” She said.
The grieving mother, Mrs Musleemah Agboluaje also narrated how her son had complained that the heater in the room was not working and asked that it be fixed but got no response from the receptionist on duty.
Mrs Agboluaje said her late son had dreams of becoming a footballer and was admitted to studying Sports Science before the unfortunate incident.
