A Nigerian man identified as Akunesiobike has shared his experience with an ‘entitled’ lady who requested for nothing less than an iPhone 7 plus from him.

Akune said the incident happened years ago when he was still out of the country. He was planning a visit to Nigeria at the time, and this lady whom he was texting back and forth, asked for an iPhone.

She went further to warn him that the iPhone he’s getting for her shouldn’t be less than an iPhone 7 plus.

In his words ;

“So, some years back, there was this girl I was talking to, (we met on Facebook, but hadn’t met in person), she begged me to “get” an iPhone for her as I was abt visiting NGR, I said “OK, we will see,” this girl went further to audaciously tell me, anything below iPhone 7 Plus

I shouldn’t bother purchasing it, cos she’d not accept it, “OK,” I replied. When we met in Enugwu (Enugu), she asked me abt the phone, & I reminded her abt what she said, she got very upset, & disappointed, that was the first and last time we met, or spoke, 2 & a half years.

later, she came back, apologizing, talking about how she discussed what transpired between she & I with her friends, & they all faulted her, I told her I’ve accepted her apologies, but I just never spoke to her again since then. Who spoiled Naija girls like this? The men?”

A Facebook user known as Evangelist Bossman has taken to his page to warn women against wearing some popular fashion accessories as he claimed the act may lead to hellfire.

The family of late 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni, the DOWEN College student who tragically died after being allegedly tortured by his school mates, has hired the firm of human rights lawyer and activist, Femi Falana, to prosecute the case against the institution over the unfortunate death of their son.

In the letter dated December 6, 2021 and signed by Taiwo Olawale, the lawyers have written to the office of Lagos State’s chief coroner requesting an inquest into the circumstances leading to the death of his client’s child.

The letter in part reads

“Given the needless death of Sylvester Oromoni, we are compelled to request you to use your good offices to cause a coroner’s inquest to be conducted into the cause of death of this young and promising boy and make appropriate recommendations pursuant to Section 15 of the Lagos State Coroner’s Law 2007 that states that an inquest shall hold whenever a coroner is informed that the death of a deceased person within his coroner district is as a result of a death in a violent, unnatural or suspicious situation.

We hereby request your lordship to conduct an inquest into the circumstance surrounding this tragic death and we are confident that your lordship will accede to our request with utmost urgency.”

Students of Idogbo Secondary School at Upper Sakponba Road, Benin City, Edo State, recently went on a rampage, destroying school properties.

It was gathered that the principal invited a police officer to restore law and order in the school, and the irate students allegedly attacked the officers.

They reportedly took hold of the officer’s uniform, pursued the principal from the school before carrying out massive destruction of the school’s properties.

A video of the students serving rounds online showed some of them celebrating themselves after the incident.

In other news, a SS3 student of a private school in Abraka, Delta state, Michael Ogbeise, has reportedly beaten a teacher, Ezeugo Joseph, to death.

It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday, December 2, after the teacher flogged his younger sister.

The Spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect attacked the teacher for beating his sister, Promise.

According to the PPRO, the suspect dealt the teacher a single blow and he collapsed immediately. He was later confirmed dead in a hospital.

A man has revealed he ended his ‘near-perfect’ marriage of five years because he was bored and needed more.

According to him, he was happily married, never had problems with his spouse but the relationship became too comfortable as there were no dramas.’

He noted that although people might castigate him and tag him selfish, he took the decision because he realized he wanted more and he’s not interested in getting into a relationship for comfort.

He added that he desires to grow to the highest level but he believes he cant achieve that being comfortable.

“I was married for 5 years and it was an incredible relationship, I did not have any problems in the relationship. The only reason I left the relationship is one thing, I knew I wanted more, You might call it greedy, you might call it selfish I agree with you.

I realized I’m not interest in getting in a relationship for comfort anymore. I want to grow to the highest level and I cant do that being comfortable.” He said.

A man has been left devastated after he stumbled on a chat which exposed his wife’s infidelity and how his beloved daughter belonged to another man.

The unidentified man who shared his predicament anonymously on social media, said he was on his wife’s phone trying to make a call when a chat notification that had a suspicious message popped up.

Out of curiosity, he decided to open the chat only to receive the shock of his life. The message turned out to be from his wife’s lover, who he later realized was the biological father of his supposed daughter.

I picked my wife’s phone to make a call. I had a low battery. There was an unread message from a guy. My wife had saved his name with a lady’s name. I wasn’t going to open it but because of the nature of the message, I had to read their conversations. The unread message on her screen was I will do anything for you sweetie.

I know a woman can send that message but my instincts were telling me to confirm the gender from their chat. They had a long history chat. And calls. I discovered something that shocked me.
It was from their interactions last year, when my daughter was born. When my wife was in the labor ward, I was leading a presentation for our company.

In fact, when my wife forwarded the picture of my daughter to me on whatsapp, I was about to give a speech at the meeting. I was so excited, I had to announce to everyone I had a daughter. I used FORWARDED because she originally had uploaded the picture to this man and captioned it, (Our baby girl). I took my phone to scroll to see the time she forwarded the same picture to me after sending it to him. 45 minutes. I was an afterthought. My daughter’s middle name is a name he suggested in their chat”.
