Big Brother Naija couple, Teddy A and BamBam, have in a recent interview addressed the topic of checking each other’s phones.
During an interview with media personality, Adesola Momoh, the couple responding to the question about checking each other’s phones disclosed that they don’t do that because it would be disrespectful.
BamBam said she would rather not touch Teddy A’s phone than put herself in a situation that could cause a disagreement between them. According to her, she places more value on their conversations and what he tells her.
“Sometimes I just rather avoid situations that could escalate into something serious, and the communion that we have together is way more important,” Bam Bam said
Teddy A, on his part, said he doesn’t check her phone either and they have a mutual understanding on that. According to him, it would be a breach of trust and respect if he goes behind her back to check her phone.
He however stated that it is normal for some kind of ‘conversations’ to be on his wife’s phone.

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has thrilled the hearts of many after a video of him taking his twin brother, Paul’s kids shopping in the US surfaced online.
The brothers of the defunct music group, Psquare are estranged at the moment, despite several pleas from fans and colleagues that they settle their differences and let peace reign.
However, it seems their strained relationship did not affect the relationship they have with each other’s kids, as a video that was shared on Instagram moments ago by Paul’s wife, Anita Okoye, shows Peter spending quality time with his twin brother’s children in the US.

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to lament bitterly after her semi-permanent natural pink lips procedure went south.
According to the lady, she was tired of using different products to make her lips pink temporarily so she decided to hop on the ‘natural’ procedure which would last longer.
She said after the procedure, her lips got swollen and doubled in size and this has gotten her worried and scared.
However, she said she has been assured that it would reduce to its normal size eventually.
In her words;
“Guys I decided to go do natural pink lips because I was tired of buying different types of pink lips balm, pink lips scrub and all that.
So I decided to go do something that will last for me and this is what I got. I just pray it comes down soon. Because they said it’s going to come down. I guess that’s the process of me finding beauty.”

A Nigerian evangelist, identified as Gideon Akande, has opined that churches who run schools with expensive tuition are satanic and unbiblical.
He took to his Facebook page to make this assertion. According to him, those churches are creating terrible segregation among its members which is against what the bible teaches.
He further stated that pastors of those churches are not doing God’s work but running a business.
In a lengthy post, he wrote,
“ALL EXPENSIVE CHURCH SCHOOLS ARE SATANIC! All the churches who are building and running schools more expensive than Federal Government’s school in their countries are not doing the work of God, they are derailed, they are doing business, they are unbiblical and they are involving in evil and satanic separations.
So the school that belong to the church, can only admit member “A” who has money to pay for his children but the same church’s school cannot admit member “B” not because his children cannot pass the entrance exam but because he has no money. So only rich members can send their children to their church’s school? This is not Biblical, it is satanic. What is the main purpose of the church of God building academic schools? If the purpose is to create a godly and biblical environment for the students, then it means only the rich members will have their children in godly environment?
So it means that as same members of the church, we are going to the same heaven but our children cannot go to the same school the belong to our same church? What a terrible segregation!

Nigerian music mogul, 2Face’s baby mama, Pero has sued his wife, Annie Idibia where she demands an apology, a retraction and N500m as compensation for damages.
In the lawsuit notice that was served to the actress on November 10, Pero’s lawyers referenced Annie’s Instagram outburst and the audio tape which went viral weeks back where she alleged that her husband, 2Face “packed his bags and came to America to see her (Pero) and his other kids“.
Pero’s lawyers stated that these allegations are “blatantly false, misrepresents facts and portrayed Pero as an individual with loose morals“. Annie was further accused of engaging in “malicious and libelous online publication” which subjected Pero and her kids to online harassment and bullying.

Nigeria’s Head of States, President Muhammadu Buhari has said the country is open to French nationals who wish to leave France and seek greener pastures in Africa’s most populous country.
“Those who come from France seeking opportunities in Nigeria are today welcomed with open arms,” the President said in an opinion published in Paris Daily L’Opinion on Friday, November 12.
Mr Buhari, who is attending the Paris Peace Forum in France, stated that Nigeria’s growing population is a huge market for France to take advantage of.
“This expansion only augurs more, given Nigeria’s population is projected to grow by 2050 to the same size as the European Union, and further to become the second-largest in the world by the close of the century,” Mr Buhari said, adding that “This great market is France’s opportunity.”

Ann Ikeme, the sister of Samuel Iwelu, one of the victims of the Ikoyi building which collapsed on November 1, has revealed that he died less than 10 minutes after he stopped recording his usual Whatsapp stories in his car.
According to the lady, her late brother shared his usual Whatsapp Status by 12:48 (UK time) which is 13:48 local time and the collapse occurred by 13:56 local time as reported by CNN’s Steph Busari.
She also bemoaned the fact that one phone call might have saved his life by keeping him back in the car, and a 10 minutes delay could have made them see again.

The wife of Lagos pastor, Taiwo Odukoya, Nomthi, will be buried on November 30.
According to the funeral arrangement which was released by the family on yesterday, November 12, a Night of tribute will be held in her honor at the Fountain of Life, Ilupeju, Lagos on Monday, November 29.
Pastor Nomthi died on November 9 after a two-year battle with cancer.
Pastor Taiwo in his social media post, said he loved her with all his heart but he has to accept the will of God.
“She gave me 11 beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life. I loved her with all my heart but who am I to fight the will of God,” he wrote.
Taiwo and Nomthi who wedded in January 2010, are senior pastors of the Fountain of Life Bible Church, a Pentecostal church in Ilupeju, Lagos.
Mr Odukoya’s first wife, Bimbo, was a popular televangelist who died in the ill-fated Sosoliso crash on December 10, 2005.

A 34-year-old man, has surrendered to the police after he killed another man after allegedly catching him having sex with his wife, in Dedza, Malawi.
Mbungule Faisoni, of Mchira village, Traditional Authority Kaphuka in the district allegedly killed 54-year-old Lembetsani Tchaison, claiming that he caught him red handed having sex with his wife in the garden.
Dedza district police publicist Cassim Manda, who confirmed the incident on Friday, November 12, said the murder offence happened on November 5.
After committing the offense, Faison fled to unknown destination and was on wanted list by Dedza Police until Thursday, when he came out of hiding to surrender himself to the said station.
Faisoni told police that he fears he will be killed by the deceased family member.

Nigerian singer and mother of one, Simi has reacted after Nigerians dragged her for her reaction to a “fake aww” an air hostess gave her daughter.
The ‘woman’ crooner had taken to Twitter to air her displeasure over a greeting which she considers fake, her daughter, Adejare received from an air hostess.
“This air host guy really did one fake aww for Deja. Is it by force to say aw for baby. I did not greet you. She did not greet you. Why you fake aww my baby. God save you that I’m working on myself. Ko ko aw buruku danu,” she wrote.
The tweet was however not well received from netizens and they dragged her to filth, with many accusing her of doing too much on social media lately.

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that Nigerians are competitive abroad because of the quality education they’ve acquired before leaving their fatherland.
Buhari stated this during a meeting with the Minister of State Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Shaikh Shakboot Alnahyan, while he urged Nigerians in Diaspora to always abide by the rules of their host countries.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina in a statement titled ‘Nigerians Competitive Both Home And Abroad, President Buhari Tells UAE Minister’, quoted him as saying,
“Nigerians are all over the place, very competitive. And the competitiveness starts from home, where they have acquired good education, gone into businesses, and then take all that abroad.
President Buhari encouraged Nigerians in Diaspora to subject themselves to the rules and standards of the country in which they live either as working class, or doing businesses. He welcomed the offer by UAE to partner with Nigeria in the areas of renewable energy, agriculture, infrastructure logistics, and provision of vaccines to further control the COVID-19 pandemic.
Minister Shakboot Alnahyan said his country “thinks very highly “of President Buhari’s leadership, noting that he was striving to “build a better future for generations to come. He said there were lots of Nigerians in his country, “who add much value,” assuring that the headwinds of the recent past in the relationship “are now behind us. We want to secure, deepen and strengthen the association for the future. We have a lot in common. We may be taking small steps, but they are leading somewhere.
On proposed investments in Nigeria, Alnahyan said it would be a win-win situation, “which would bring hope and opportunities for people in both countries. We want to come and add quality and value. He equally commended the Nigerian government for its robust tackling of violent extremism.”
