A Nigerian lady has called out a hospital in Lekki, Lagos state, for allegedly abandoning her friend in labour for being rude to them.
The lady identified as @yeeeka on Twitter, took to the platform to slam the hospital for neglecting her friend for hours even though she had fully paid for their services.
According to her, her friend had to go to another hospital under short notice to deliver the baby but she unfortunately lost the child.
She narrated the incident that transpired at the hospital and called for justice for the child.

“So that is how @evercarehospitallekki said my friend was rude to them and didn’t attend to her … I mean a woman in Labor who had paid fully for your services, not only that her water had broken!!! You left her unattended to for hours.
“Someone who came in at 2am @evercarehospitallekki left her till about 5:30am unattended, my friend had to go to another hospital with her baby’s head almost out… she got to the hospital had an emergency only for us to loose the baby now tell me how these wicked people are still running.
“All this uselessness hospital could say is sorry… sorry for what exactly not like she hadn’t paid in full for your services o. All we want is justice for this child @evercarehospitallekki.”

Nigerian female vocalist and songwriter, Simi drops a brand new tune she titled it “So Bad” featuring Joeboy.
Her new tune comes several weeks after the socio-conscious song “Woman” that swept the Nigerian social media space.

Controversial relationship coach, Blessing Okoro, has stated that she has never slept with a man for money.
Blessing Okoro, who made this disclosure in a video she shared on social media, said the reason why she never threaded the path of making money through ‘runs’ is because of sustainability.
According to her, runs is not sustainable and the wealth doesn’t last. Speaking further, she averred that the only thing that is sustainable is value.

Instagram comedian and Naval personnel Abdulgafar Ahmad, popularly known as Cute Abiola, has been released from NAVY detention after spending more that 10 days with the force.
Naval spokesperson, Commodore Suleman Dahun, confirmed the development to newsmen on Friday.
Some of his colleagues, including the popular Mr. Macaroni, had raised the alarm over his whereabouts.
Cute Abiola’s last post on Instagram was on November 14.
According to reports, the funnyman was detained for posting a video of himself in military uniform on social media, an act which violates the armed forces’ social media policy.
Speaking with The PUNCH on Friday, the naval spokesman maintained that Ahmad knowingly violated the armed forces’ social media policy but was given a light punishment after he was tried for misconduct and indiscipline.
He added that the Ahmad is no longer in the naval detention as he has been released to serve his punishment.
Reality Tv star and entrepreneur, Leo, has taken to social media to lament after guests at his shortlet apartment went away with his dining table.
According to him, the unnamed people rented a place in his shortlet apartment, and to his shock, they stole the dining table in the apartment.

Human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, has exposed a Nigerian medical doctor who allegedly defiled his 15-year-old maid and offered him one million naira as bribe to cover up the story.
According to Harrison, the medical doctor defiled the teenager under the guise of checking her virginity. When confronted, he publicly denied the allegations, but later confessed to the activist that he perpetrated the act.
He also gave Harrison a whooping sum of one million naira to cover up the sexual assault case, unknown to him, Harrison had with him a spy camera which recorded his confession.
The suspect and evidence against him has now been handed over to the law enforcement agency for further investigation and prosecution.
Narrating the incident on his official Instagram page, Harrison wrote,
“CASH OF ONE MILLION NAIRA BRIBE TO CLOSE A SEXUAL ASSAULT CASE. Last two weeks, we received a complaint from an anonymous caller and pleaded we help handle a case of Child Sexual abuse. We immediately activated our intervention team led by Harrison Gwamnishu to investigate the complaint.
FINDINGS
A medical doctor under the guise of checking the virginity of a female maid, a minor living in his house defiled the victim.
Upon an investigation to uncover the truth, he openly denied the allegations. However, he confessed to Harrison Gwamnishu (Recorded via Spy Camera ?) that he indeed perpetrated the act.
He offered Harrison the sum of One million naira for him not to reveal the secret and unjustly close the case. He then went to the bank and withdrew N1,000,000.00 and handed over to HARRISON as bribe to close the case not knowing Harrison has Coconut head and will use same as evidence against him.
Upon further fact finding, it was discovered that he is a serial child rapist who has performed the act on multiple occasions.
This evening, the suspect and One Million Naira exhibit has been handed over to the law enforcement agency for further investigation/prosecution.”

I chose this path to fulfil my dream of becoming a mother.
I still have a good number of eggs frozen in case I decide to do surrogacy again or carry my baby myself .who knows.

I opted for a donor for me and my baby’s peace of mind. Another major reason I opted for a donor is because it scares me so much when I see banter and controversies between a mother and a father over a baby in public forums or when I see the man insisting he wants his child if things dont work out between both parties.. For me it’s the fear of what that would mean for the child .Ideally, its marriage then children but we are not living in an ideal world.
I am not someone who allows any situation to control me. I make lemonades out of lemons thrown my way and have no regrets. Life itself is so fragile and short to be striving for perfection. I am well and capable of taking care of my own child as I’ve been taking care of myself .I wanted a child and thank God for the options of surrogacy and donors…

Surrogacy process is quite expensive, and starts with the stimulation process ,egg retrieval and insemination on the chosen surrogate which in my case was all handled strictly by the hospital.

It is an awesome feeling and experience and as I watch my daughter grow every day, i am in awe of the miracles that God has sent my way and I am so thankful and grateful to be my daughters mother.
A student of the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Dreal Bayelsa Pikin, took to his Facebook page to lament over the predicament he faced by rodents.

Five persons, including the principal and vice principal of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, have been remanded in prison custody by the State High Court over the alleged s*xual mol*station of a 11-year-old student of the school, named Don Davis.
Deborah Okezie, mother of the JSS 1 student, who disclosed this, also revealed that the court ruled that all five arrested persons should be tried in court over the case.
Her post on Facebook reads ;
Today, all the suspects were arraigned afresh at the State High Court 7 Uyo and were asked to be rema nded in the prison Custody with stiff bail conditions. So, the 5 of them, the Principal Ndidi Solomon, the Vice Principal, the wicked House masters, Akpan and others apart from the 2 minors were ordered to be detained in the prison custody until they met their bail conditions. Their lawyers were running up and down and cold caught all of them when the Judge gave the ruling. Further more, after a lengthy argument that lasted for about 3hrs, the judge ruled that the 2 accused minors, Old and Shalom will be tried at the Juvenile family Court, while the other 5 accused persons will be tried in the open Court where everyone shall see them.
The matter has just began, with a different tone of music.

In a chat with YBL, the final year student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta revealed that he discovered his passion for skit making during a long ASUU Strike.

I went to Smark Kiddies College(Primary school), Ariyo international College(Secondary School) and currently still in Federal University of Agricultural Abeokuta just a semester to go
When was the first time you knew you were funny?
The first time was when I started in 2015, once I drop a video I saw so much positive vibes which inspired me to do more. Good reviews from people has also been part of my inspiration that keeps me going.
When did you start having a passion for skit making?
I started having passion for skit making 2015, during Asuu strike most student were home doing nothing, it was then I started having passion and started making skits
Who are those that inspired you to become a skit maker?
Twsye_ereme was my biggest inspiration and he his still my biggest inspiration, I always look up to him. Then instagram video was just 15secs and within that period you have to make people laugh
How do you view your career as a skit maker, a temporary one or a full time job?
A first I was into Skit making fully, along the line I had other things coming up and skit making just became temporary for me
Are you one of those skit makers that hire script writers or you are purely original with your contents?
I don’t hire script writers, all my contents are from things that happen around me or scenarios I found myself, I create my own content
In the climax of your career what do you want to be remembered for?
That funny guy that likes food
How did you start your transition from a student to a social influencer, how did you grow your social audience?
It has always been about consistency and relatable contents, I had few viral videos that went far and wide that helped building my social audience. Big thanks to those that supported me, their support greatly helped building my audience
How do you define what you do for a living?
I’m an Investor full time, I’m running few investments and businesses and also a brand Ambassador
What is your act about and how do you get material
I act different roles, I find it hard to take a particular role but I intend to focus on my KUDUS Character (A dumb guy that just likes to eat)
I get materials from things around me, things that happens to people and we can all relate to, and sometimes from just random thinking
What inspires the story behind your skits
Alot of things inspires my skit, my friends, my environment, my family especially my mom and sometimes just from people’s personal experiences, just funny day to day scenarios.
You have achieved success through social media, how important is social media and how can a person leverage on it to showcase his talent ?
Social media is very important, even if it is seen as a fake life showcase platform, people are making good use of it and are making money from social media. and it has helped me build my brand to a particular level I’m willing to push more to have a better brand
What advice would you give new comedians just starting out
There are lots of new comedians and skit makers, and most of them just think it’s about being tagged a comedian, as a comedian you must be able to deliver well and be creative with content, not just basic content, creative content. It’s not easy to make people laugh but as a comedian you have to be able to make them laugh.
There are a lot of instagram comedians and more are still coming. What are your plans to stay relevant in the industry
My plans are to keep being consistent and to be more creative, which is very important to stay relevant.

Expect more entertaining contents, I and my Team are working hard to bring more creative contents to everyone
The father of Omolara Olatubosun, the mother of Princess Adeola, daughter of Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has revealed that the relationship between his family and that of the traditional ruler is cordial.
This comes after Omolara issued a statement last week, alleging that the monarch was not present in the early stages of their daughter’s life.
Recall that on October 18, 2021, Adeola turned 28 and the monarch took to his official Instagram and Facebook pages to celebrate her.
Ooni of Ife welcomed Adeola when he was 19.
The monarch wrote
“I equally realized that being a single parent to a daughter in an unfamiliar footprint can be a major shift in human experience and a daunting journey as you need to help your child to navigate day to day social situations, complex feelings, and developmental changes that life prescribes.”
Countering his claim, Omolara in a statement released, said the monarch was never present in the child’s life, especially in the first 10 years. She said the only time the Ooni saw their child after her birth was at a wedding. Read here.
However, in a statement released to Punch, Omolara’s father, Oladapo Olatunbosun said the relationship between his family and that of the Ooni’s own is cordial and does not see the need to smear the reputation of the monarch’s family.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has said that poverty will increase in Nigeria breaks up.
Osinbajo said this while receiving a delegation of the Muhammadu Buhari Osinbajo (MBO) Dynamic Support Group at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Thursday December 2.

Nigerian songstress, Temilade Openiyi better known as Tems has seemingly reacted to the buzz that trailed the moment her colleague and global music icon, Wizkid tried lifting her up while they were performing at the 02 Arena in London about two days ago.

A few days back, Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu enjoined a couple of people including some celebrities to join him in a peace walk for the “healing of the state” — an invitation which was declined by some later on.
Following the rejection by some people on his Peace Walk, on his Instagram page some hours ago, the governor shared videos of himself from when he visited Lagos State University whose students had promised to join him in his Peace walk.
President of the Student Union Government, LASU, Comrade Oladipupo Uthman Badmus, revealed this when the governor visited the school on Thursday.
“To Mr Governor, Sir, it is what you signed up for but we are indebted to you. Be rest assured, whenever you walk, we will work with you. We will be by your side. Whenever you run, we will run with you to the end,” Badmus assured on behalf of LASU students.
Following the meeting, the governor, an Alumni of the Federal University of Lagos, is heard chanting songs of praise for the state University with wordings like “LASU na elele, no campus be like am“.

Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule, known professionally as Blaqbonez recently appealed to his landlord to increase the amount of his rent because he has been winning lately.
According to the “Bling” crooner, he’s achieved so many wins of late and he doesn’t think that with the amount of wins he has, he should still be paying the same rent as before.
He says he doesn’t mind having the same apartment, without any new modifications but the rent should be increased. Well, his landlord saw his request and decided to adhere to it. The photographer who covered Nigerian singer, Wizkid‘s concert at the 02 arena in London, has rained encomium on the singer and his manager, Jada for giving him the opportunity to showcase the event through his lens.
The photographer, who happens to be deaf, in a WhatsApp conversation with Wizkid’s manager, Jada thanked the singer for the rare opportunity, while noting that no deaf photographer has covered the 02 arena in London.
The screenshot chat was shared on Instagram by Jada P, who captioned it with “always stay a blessing to others”.
The chat from the photographer reads,

The family of Sylvester Oromoni Jr., a student of Dowen college who died days ago, has released a video to backup their allegation that he was tortured by other students for refusing to join a cult.
In an initial report announcing Sylvester’s death, a Twitter user, who claimed to be a cousin of the deceased, had taken to the platform to call out the school and demand justice for the death of his cousin.
He claimed that after the boy was beaten to a pulp by the cult boys who he identified before he died.
The school however came out to counter the initial report by stating that the little boy died due to injuries sustained on the football pitch (Read here)
The school denied any existence of a cult group and insisted that Sylvester Junior injured his hip while playing football and, after initially administering first aid, his family was called to pick him.
IN a new development, the boy’s family has released videos and a photo to show that it wasn’t just a hip injury that killed their son.
A photo shows Sylvester with battered lips and the family said he got that after being forced by the boys at school to consume a substance.

Nigerian billionaire businessman, Ned Okonkwo, has warmed the hearts of many after he proposed to his wife of 12 years, Ichechi Okonkwo, again.
The couple were out with friends in London on Thursday, December 1, when the real estate mogul went down on one knee and asked her to marry him again.

Nigerian singer, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun professionally known as Vector, has taken to social media to celebrate his daughter as she turns a year older today, December 2.
Recounting how he came up with her name “Iyioluwadamilola”, the singer said he thought really hard for a name because he wanted something that resonates with everything he wishes for his generation.
He shared a photo of him carrying his little girl up and made an inside joke about movie, Lion King. According to him, when his daughter is old enough, she will see how Rafiki showed his son, Simba, to the world.

A young man has reportedly insisted that his girlfriend terminate her pregnancy because he wants their baby to share their birth month.
The girlfriend made this known while opening up to popular Instagram content creator and actress, Mariam Bakre, better known as Mory Coco.
The mother of one had taken to her Instagram stories to ask that her followers share their secrets or whatever is bothering them with her.
The lady who’s pregnant for her lover then seized the opportunity to tell Mory Coco about how her lover wants her to abort the pregnancy because he wants his baby to share his birth month, and since this baby wouldn’t arrive at his desired time, he insisted that she terminate it.
“My bf wants an abortion because he wants our baby sharing his birth month. I feel so bad rn”, she wrote.
Reacting to the revelation an Instagram user @chi_a.m.a.k.a wrote, “Them dey use this one head play ludo😂😂does the excuse not sound lame? How can you believe that?”

A Nigerian man from Delta state, John Erere Nana, is set to tie the knot with his two pregnant lovers on the same day.
The wedding is scheduled to hold on Saturday, December 4th at Oviri Agbarho, Ughelli Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to the invite, the groom is from Orhokpokpo, and will be getting married to Patience and Elohor, both from Udu Local Government Area of Delta.

Students of the Lagos State University (LASU) have expressed readiness to join Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in his Peace Walk initiative.
Recall that the governor initiated the walk as part of efforts to ensure harmony in the state following the October 20, 2020, Lekki Toll Gate shooting incident.
However, the proposed walk was rejected by notable media personalities such as singer, Falz; comedian, Mr Macaroni; and activist, Rinu.
In a new update, LASU students have pledged to join the Governor on the walk, when he visited their school to commission the newly built students arcade, said to be the largest Student Union Building in any Nigerian tertiary institution.
The SUG President, Comrade Oladipupo Uthman Badmus and Speaker of the Students Union Representatives, Rt. Hon. Mustapha Adejuwon, who led hundreds of students to welcome the governor, praised the governor and described him as a Youth-Centric Governor.
The student union president also announced that all students of the school have resolved to walk with the Governor for the peace and prosperity of the State.
During his visit, Governor Sanwo-Olu donated two big buses to the Students Union as well as other gadgets and equipment for students’ use.
