Student who got expelled in her final year over exam malpractice, starts again in a different school and graduates with first class

A Nigerian lady took to her Facebook to share a lengthy narration of how she was once expelled during her final exam over malpractice and had to start afresh in another school.

The lady, identified as Angela Sughnen Doom, took to her Facebook to share in details how she was doing well in her first university before she eventually got expelled from the school but decided to start anew in a different school and gracefully was able to graduate with an even better grade.

Read her story,

MY STORY; A thread of What God does to a Woman who is determined to get to the finish line.
In 2016, I was a 400 level undergraduate student of a Nigerian University, I wasn’t a bad student(2:1 that year no be any body mate 😂😂) I was up and soaring And In the first semester of my year4 I was at the verge of being EXPELLED or rather got expelled, why?? I got involved in Examination misconduct, and that was how I fell down from that high pedestal I thought I was on.
I was broken, I was insulted, I was mocked, so many people were disappointed in me, to say I was depressed is an understatement, every one who knows me personally knows how Much I love school and the idea of it and most importantly the idea of being an Agricultural student, so you can imagine how broken I was to be in the position of getting expelled from the university, it was the most difficult period of my life.
However in the middle of all these struggle and pains which seemed unbearable, I picked myself up, even before I’ll be formally expelled I took necessary steps and applied to study in another university and thankfully I got the admission to study again at the New university.
That’s how I packed my bags on a fateful Monday and headed North, I didn’t even know what I was doing fully at the time, I went ahead regardless. I arrived my new school and everything was different, from people to culture, I was even more broken that I had to start again and all over but I was determined to start again no matter how hard it seemed so I kept going.
When I got there I told my self I was better than the person I had become and the circumstances that led me here and so I was determined to make a difference.
While I studied and took relevant exams in my new school, I no the even smile for exams hall😂 don’t talk to me as I’ll definitely not talk to you! I wrote every single paper from the first to the last exam this time without giving or receiving an “a”, devoid of even the tiniest form of exams misconduct, because if God had to help me I had to keep my side of the deal.
Pain was my drive, God was my help and so I kept going and GOD helped me, the system was super tough but against all odds I d move the go.
On 11/11/2021 my final results were ready, I graduated 😭😭😭 after starting all over I paid so much!! But I got here, I didn’t just graduate, I graduated with a FIRST CLASS in my most priced field, a FIRST CLASS in Agriculture.
I did it🙌
My God restored it all🙌🙌
Second slide is my forever mood💃
I’ve decided to share my story to encourage anyone going through something similar, it is enough that the mistake happened, it can not be undone, even if it’s injustice to you it can’t be undone, the best thing you can do is to pick yourself up and do what needs to be done and with GOD the light at the end will be way brighter than what you saw.
NEVER EVER GIVE UP.

Cristiano Ronaldo publicly agrees that Messi ‘stole’ the Ballon d’Or from him and Lewandowski

Cristiano Ronaldo publicly

Footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo has publicly agreed with claims that Lionel Messi ‘stole’ the Ballon d’Or from him and Robert Lewandowski.

Cristiano Ronaldo publicly

It can be recalled that the Paris Saint-Germain star, Messi, won his seventh Ballon d’Or on Monday, November 29, after beating Lewandowski by 33 votes.

However, Ronaldo, a five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or, came in sixth with 435 votes.

Following Messi’s win, a fan account of Ronald called ‘Cristiano Ronaldo – The Legendary’, shared an Instagram post claiming Messi didn’t deserve the win.

Cristiano Ronaldo publicly

Comparing Ronaldo’s 2021 achievements with Messi’s, the fan made snide remarks about Messi and described his accolade as ‘theft. Dirt. Shame. Simply regrettable.’

“Who saw, saw. Anyone who is smart enough knows who the real deserving ones are. Receiving awards without earning it is false happiness, without pride.’

’43 goals in the year, 6 goals in 5 games in this Champions League, all decisive and a guy who, regardless of age, continues to work miracles and is the guy who most impresses the world most often.

‘They still put the guy in 6th… Do you really think that 5 guys did more than him in the year? Never.

‘He could fight for this award calmly and the fight would be good with Lewandowski who in individual numbers was incredible and Bayern had a better season than Juventus and has been having a calmer season than United, but at the national selection level for example, Cristiano was much better.

And who does the prize go to? For Messi, who only won the Copa del Rey by Barcelona, ??he hasn’t scored a goal against Real Madrid since when Cristiano left, disappeared in the big games of the season, won the Copa America that was supposed to be every 4 years and do practically every year.

‘He didn’t score in the final or in the semifinal. And he’s been having a weak season with PSG individually.

‘For Cristiano to win this prize he has to be 300% unquestionable. It’s no use scoring the most beautiful bike of the year, being champion of everything by club, top scorer of everything and scoring a hat-trick in the World Cup, they still provide a way to take his prize.

‘With Messi, it’s the other way around. He can do a low-key season, way below, they’ll always find a way to favour him and give him the prize.”

Oddly, Ronaldo took to the comment section to agree with the post.

He commented “facts” with a thumbs up and side eye emoji.

It is quite rare to see successful female artists in the industry giving other upcoming female artists a platform- Kelvin Odanz

Popular twitter user, Kelvin Odanz has taken to his page to heavily critique Nigerian female artists.

According to Odanz’ observation, successful female artists like Tiwa, Simi, Teni and co’ have not done enough to help other upcoming female singers and he asked a serious question – WHY ?

It is a known fact that most male artistes always help their upcoming Junior colleagues to rise to the top but one cannot really pinpoint the same behaviour amongst the female superstars.

Kelvin tweeted ;

You can point out upcoming male artists that were discovered, groomed and helped onto the limelight by establishing male artists like Davido, WizKid, Banky W etc

What are established female artists like Tiwa, Simi, Teni and co doing to help other upcoming female artists?

This is a general question to successful female artists in the music industry since I became familiar with Nigerian music.Which female artists was discovered, groomed and helped onto the limelight by another older established female artists. I really want to know if there are any

I am also very curious to know what Simi is doing to help females into the music industry. She seem to be a outspoken “feminist” in the industry.

I mean, aside from her singing a feminist-themed song “woman” that appeals to women and brings more money into her bank account

Why is it very common for men to give other upcoming male artists a platform the moment they become successful themselves in the music industry. And then it is quite rare to see successful female artists in the industry giving other upcoming female artists a platform. Question

Just for reference. 5 years ago, barely anyone knew Zlatan, Naira Marley or Bella Shmurda. But today, they all own their own music labels with artists (mostly male) signed under them.

Tiwa has been a big name in the industry since 2012. Almost a decade on top of her game…

And she doesn’t own a music label, despite being on the scene for much longer. Why is that tho? What are the barriers for successful female artists?

And I can’t point at any upcoming female artist she’s discovered or helped find her footing in the industry. Why is that?

A single feature from Tiwa of an unknown upcoming female artist will be a breakthrough. Why isn’t that sort of support/grooming happening?!
