Prime suspect in the murder case of Super TV boss, Usifo Ataga, Chidinma Ojukwu, arrived at the Lagos state High Court on Tuesday morning, November 30 for the continuation of her trial.
The trial was stalled on Monday, November 29, due to the absence of one of the witnesses.

A while back, in an exclusive interview with NTA newsmen, Chidinma Ojukwu opened up on how she tied Usifo Ataga’s hands while he was high on drugs and asleep, because she wanted to steal from him, before stabbing him to death.
Her confession gives credence to the family’s claim that Usifo’s corpse showed signs of torture, tied hands and a broken neck even before he was stabbed.
An unemployed Nigerian lady, Uche Anaekwe, has narrated how she went for an interview she wasn’t for and landed the job.
Taking to LinkedIn, the licensed cabin crew said she had submitted her CV to different airlines hoping to get a job, but all to no avail.
On a fateful day, her friend and co-cabin crew told her about a job aptitude test she was invited for and she decided to tag along and also write the test.
Fortunately for her, everything worked out in her favour and she got the job.

A lot has happened to me between August-November and I’m nothing short of grateful to God.
After I graduated from aviation school in July and got my cabin crew licence I had no idea how I was going to get a job, I didn’t know anyone in the industry who would give me a leg up and although I knew I had all the qualifications, I didn’t know how to go about securing a job except submitting my CV to airlines and hoping for the best.
In the last week of July, I decided to pack my bags and go to lagos, my plan was to go round airlines offices dropping my cv with them and praying that something clicks, mind you I had previously submitted my CV to Dana air when they called for new cabin crew but I didn’t hear back from them and off course I was devastated.
Long story short, a good friend and fellow cabin crew aspirant I met here on LinkedIn who had also applied for the same role with Dana told me that she had been invited for their aptitude test, I was very happy for her but at the same time sad that I wasn’t called. She was kind enough to tell me the date of the test and where it will take place (funny enough I was going to the airport that same day to submit my CV to other airlines).
I took a bold and courageous leap of faith, went for
an aptitude test I wasn’t invited for, and the rest they say is history.
They say that when opportunity meets preparedness, success is bound to happen.
I’m forever grateful to Maryam Adeleke for being an amazing friend to me even when she didn’t have to. I’m also very thankful to Dana air for using no prejudice and bias to recruit their new crew because I wouldn’t have had a chance otherwise.

Nigerian HR manager, Ivie Ibitoye, has warned female job seekers against shooting their shots at male CEOS after a job interview.
Ivie, in an Instagram post shared recently, revealed that some female applicants send private emails to male CEOs asking to know them better.
According to her, the intentions of sending such emails may be noble but it can be interpreted as the lady shooting her shot at the male executive.
She further stated that the rate at which ladies send such emails is alarming.
Ivie wrote on her Instagram page,

Barbados has declared singer, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, popularly known as Rihanna, a national hero during its republican celebration in the capital of Bridgetown.
This is coming after the Caribbean country officially removed Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state and became a republic. In the overnight ceremony on Monday, November 29th, Dame Sandra Mason was sworn in as president coinciding with the country’s 55th independence day anniversary.
Rihanna also attended the ceremony and was conferred with the honorary title of a National Hero of Barbados by prime minister, Mia Mottley.
Mia Mottley said, “On behalf of a grateful nation, but an even prouder people, we therefore present to you, the designee, for national hero of Barbados, ambassador Robyn Rihanna Fenty may you continue to shine like a diamond.”
The ‘Diamond’ hitmaker accepted the honour to cheers and applauds from the crowd.

Nigerians are full of praise for dancer, Poco Lee for introducing his friend, Bella Shmurda to legendary singer, Wizkid.
In April 2020, the professional dancer and hype man hosted an Instagram Live and Grammy award winner, Wizkid joined the live session. Poco quickly seized the opportunity to introduce his friend, Bella, who was an up-and-coming singer at the time to the Grammy award winner.

Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky, has taken to Snapchat to brag about his expensive investments in Lagos.
The self acclaimed ‘male barbie’, in a recent post, revealed that he has delved into the oil and gas sector as he allegedly owns a petrol station in Lekki, Lagos.
Bobrisky also disclosed that he has made his first installment for a hotel property worth N800 million in Lekki Phase 1. According to him, the property agent didn’t believe him until he paid the first instalment of N230 million.
Sharing a photo of the payment receipt, Bobrisky threw jabs at trolls who have been castigating him online, while stating that he’s turning the insults to money.

The rather unusual moment a masquerade was spotted wooing a lady reemerged on social media, with hilarious reactions trailing the video.
The video first made its appearance in September of 2020 where it was reported that the rare occurrence happened in Nnewi, Anambra state — in the video, the masquerade who was expected to be on duty representing the gods, is seen getting a lady’s phone number.

Nigerian singer, Adebayo Adeleke, popularly known as B-Red has taken to social media to show off the wads of cash that rained at his son’s birthday party last night.
B-Red threw a lavish birthday party for his son who turned 2 on Monday, November 29th and has excepted the party was start-studded. B-Red’s cousin, Davido was also present at the event and was part of the guests who made money rain.

Nigerian billionaire businesswoman, Folorunso Alakija, has in a church service narrated how God stopped her from using jewelry.
While preaching in a Lagos church on Sunday, November 28, the Founder of Rose of Sharon Group said it took 10 days for God to make her stop using jewelry completely.
According to her, she used to love jewelry a lot and had different pieces to match her outfits until she had the turning point experience.
According to Church Times, she said, “I used to love jewelry. I had all kinds and the jewelry had to match every cloth I wore. In those days I used to tell God not to take jewelry from me. If anybody had come to me and told me not to wear jewelry, I would not have listened to the person. I would have wondered where that person is coming from. But by the time God started dealing with me on it, I had no option but to do away with it.”
Alakija, who is one of the wealthiest woman in Africa, said the change started when she started bleeding from her ear lobe one night.

A Nigerian has taken to his social media page to give a scary narration of how hospitals refused to treat an accident victim who was clearly in pain and in dire need of attention.

I was coming back from a shoot at Ikeja last night at about 11pm around Onikpanu when I saw this man on the road laying with blood all over him… I was told he had an accident and that they’ve been calling emergency line for the past 1hr plus and that person picking up calls kept on telling them the ambulance is coming but up till the time I came the ambulance still hasn’t arrive. I saw some police officers there so asked if I can help the victim the police said yes and even followed us to the hospital.
We got to the first government hospital at Shomolu, the doctor just came out and looked at him and said they can’t treat him ooo we should take him else where…. We even begged for a first Aid treatment but they refused. We drove him with the police officers to LASUTH ( a Lagos state teaching hospital) those one made a little attempt… asked me to go get drip and some drugs which I did and paid for… after a while they came back and said there’s no available bed and they can’t admit him there! The doc gave me a letter to give to the doctor at LUTH “FEDERAL HOSPITAL” and we got there at about 1am at night and the doctor came out examined him a little and also said there’s no bed we should take him else where 💔💔💔… at this point I got frustrated even the police officers got very furious and even told the doctor to commence treatment inside my car but the doctor said and “I QUOT: THE LAW HERE STATE THAT NO PATIENT SHOULD BE ATTENDED TO IF HE IS NOT IN BED” so she can’t do anything.
I got frustrated and brought the guy out of my car Dropped him at their gate because I was scared if the guy d*es in my car, the story will change and I don’t want to go to jail trying to help💔💔. This people told their security to lock the gate for us not to go out😡. To cut long story short, I am still at the hospital till now as I’m posting this… these wicked souls has refused to attend to this guy…they’ve left him to his own fate and putting my own life in danger … please Nigerians should help because I am really frustrated already. A Saudi-bound businesswoman who was trying to raise money for In Vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment, has been arrested for drug trafficking.
The 46-year-old woman, Mrs. Adisa Afusat Olayinka, was heading to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, when she was nabbed by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, NAIA, Abuja.
According to a statement released by NDLEA spokesperson, Babafemi Femi, Mrs. Adisa who lives in Ibafo, Ogun state, hails from Ilorin, in Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara state.
She was arrested on Wednesday, November 24th, at the boarding screening area of the airport during an outward clearance of Qatar Airways flight 1418.
Thereafter, she was taken into custody where she excreted 80 pellets of the illicit drug between Wednesday and Saturday.
The statement reads in part,
“She claimed during interviews that she saved N2.5million over a period of one year to buy the drugs in bits from six different people at Akala, Mushin area of Lagos. The suspect further said she was trading in clothes but had to borrow N1million from three persons to make up the money used to buy the drugs, adding that she spent another N1million to renew her passport, visa and buy return flight tickets.
She said she was encouraged to traffic the drugs by a woman she met during her last Umrah trip to Saudi Arabia in 2019. She added that she needed to raise N7million for In Vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment due to pressure from people because shes been married for 28 years without a child due to fertility challenges.”

How are you? It’s almost December. I honestly can’t believe how quickly this year has gone but I am so thankful for the kind of year that it’s been. You? What are you thankful for?
I am particularly thankful for the journey. I know that our world celebrates the destination but I am learning daily that life really is about how we journey.
I am going to be as transparent with you as I possibly can, even though this industry makes it difficult to be and your worth is measured based on how much you can package.
As I’ve journeyed through my growth and evolution, my friends will tell you that every dime I’ve made on this thing has gone right back into it. I’m thankful for friends and family who have even loaned me their hard earned money for the sake of my dreams.
There were days where the fans were plenty but the pocket was very empty and this wasn’t too long ago.
Man I worked so hard to push myself and my creativity, yes Lawrence, I know you get me, but most people didn’t, I actually can’t count the amount of no’s I got. The feeling of being constantly overlooked, undercooked, disrespected and maligned is not a pleasant one.
I liken being overlooked to going to a party as a child, being asked to dance for cake, you know you are dancing as hard as your little body can dance, you definitely deserve a slice but by the time Aunty Bose gets to you, you are left with crumbs of unworthiness on a plastic tray.
BUT! I’ve taken the crumbs…I have scraped the tray, I have tasted the cake, and gone back to the drawing board several times to reinvent, to restrategize, to plan for the next party.
At the next party guess what? I don’t compete, I’m very still and I know I am good enough, I have done the work and much respect to Aunty Bose, I can now bake my own goddam cake. The cake no longer validates me, I have given myself the reward of self validation.
I no longer create for others or dance for the man. I do me.
All this to say Lawrence, the journey has never been about what others can do for you or what others say about you. It’s about growth and learning, the money is a delicious bonus.
Don’t let anyone cheat you out of a struggle or a hard experience, ma fi ago alago sise, don’t let social nonsense rush your process. Struggle, cry, feel the depths of your pain. FEEL IT! It’s only then that you are able to recognize when times are good.
I still have more heights to conquer, I just started! But as usual I am thankful that I’m climbing with you. I hope that if I do fall off the ladder, you will pull me up and not tear me down further, I will definitely do the same for you.

A Twitter user has narrated how she saved a 13-year-old girl who planned to go on a blind date with a man she met on Facebook.
According to the lady identified as Achalugo Bambify on Twitter, she met the little girl in a bus heading to the address where the man had asked that they meet. He deceived her that he was taking her to a cinema, however there’s no cinema in that area.
The Twitter user soon discovered that the 13-year-old girl had snuck out of the house, without her parents knowledge with the excitement that she was going to see a movie with the man she met on Facebook.
Bambify revealed she came down at the girl’s bus-stop and later saw the man the girl was supposed to meet in the company of other men, all looking suspicious.
She was able to convince her to go back home, telling her that there’s no cinema in the area that the man lied to her and advised her against meeting with strangers.

A man has been discharged and acquitted after spending 3 years in jail for a crime he didn’t commit.
According to reports, he was remanded by a magistrate on a count of kidnap and other related offenses, despite the fact there was no complainant.
Yesterday, Monday, Nov. 29, a High Court sitting in Port Harcourt cleared him of all charges and declared him innocent.

I went to the Magistrate court 3years ago to get a date and I saw this young man. He was crying and praying the rosary. I went and sat beside him and asked him why he was crying.
He kept on saying “I didn’t do it, I didn’t do it”. He was remanded by the Magistrate on a count of kidnap and other related offenses. No complainant.
He told me his story. I believed him. I told him I’d take it up on pro bono. He laid there and started praying for me. I pushed for his matter to be charged at the High Court.
Today the 29th of November,2021, the Judge of the High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has confirmed he didn’t do it and has declared him innocent. Discharged and Acquitted.
It can only be God. For the sake of God and Humanity…
A 30-year-old mother of four, Mujidat Ademola is on the verge of losing her eye after she was allegedly assaulted by her husband in Oyo state over alleged infidelity.
According to a report by one SakiFirst, the mother-of-four was beaten to pulp by her husband, Nurudeen Amao Ariya last week Tuesday, after accusing her of infidelity.
She was rushed to a clinic in their area around 1am and according to Sakifirst, Mujidat bled for hours.

“Sadly we have to write this, all our effort to fix it was in vain maybe cos this man doesn’t know he was wrong. We are not here to tarnish SAKI pedigree but someone is dying and we can’t keep shut
“Around 11pm on Tuesday night, there was an argument between MUJIDAT ADEMOLA and her husband NURUDEEN AMAO ARIYA who led to brutality as a result of an allegations by the husband that his wife committed infidelity.
She was transferred to a far clinic from their area around 1am in which the husband was begging the Nurse to cover him up of the ASSAULT.. SAKIFIRST heard the information, then we visited the clinic the following morning.
The damage was much that she was transferred to University College Hospital SEPETERI for proper examination and test.. The convener of SAKIFIRST represented SAKIFIRST to witness and safe the life of the woman.. It was brutal, the blood doesn’t stop from coming from MUJIDAT eyes for hours.. She was later transferred to UCH ibadan.
Ever since, we message the husband,we also called but he refused to respond ever since he dropped MUJIDAT at the hospital that night.. He dropped her and left without looking back till when we are writing this.
Yesterday night, ADEKUNLE M LAWAL the convener SAKIFIRST called him, told him to paid the bill of 120K that was requested for at UCH.. It was a long call which later ended up with arguments cos he doesnt want to pay the bill.. It seems this man doesn’t see what he did as bad thing.
As we are writing this, SAKIFIRST will be attacked cos some still have some excuses to support wife beaters. Weeks ago, someone here in SAKI was dead cos of similar issue.
As we are writing this, the rate at which men beat their wife is at the increase cos we have more than six at hand even after the death of Nimatallahi.. We urge the security agencies to please do their work cos this could be ones daughter, sister or friend that would happened to next time. Make use of family Court if you suspect any infidelity on your marriage

Wife beating is every where but i think our society have to stop it now.. SAKIFIRST was not found for fighting against any gender but we can’t just afford to lose any SAKITE irrespective of how tough the case maybe.

Anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial crimes commission have arrested 60 suspected ‘yahoo boys’.
Recall that few days ago, news made rounds that the EFCC stormed a popular hotel in Abeokuta, Ogun state and started shooting sporadically in their bid to arrest suspected internet fraudsters.
The EFCC has now confirmed the arrest.
The anti-graft agency wrote on Facebook ;
Operatives of the Lagos Command of the EFCC have arrested 60 suspected internet fraudsters during an awards ceremony at the Conference Hotel in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The event tagged “Peer Youths Awards”, investigation revealed, was organized to reward high-level internet fraudsters.
Items recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest include exotic cars, electronic devices, laptop computers and mobile phones.
