A quite ecstatic Nigerian man took to his social media page to share the interesting love story that led to him marrying his wife as they celebrate their 2nd wedding anniversary.
According to the gentleman identified as Iniebiyo Daniel Felagha, he started dating his wife back in 2015. He revealed that while he was in a taxi in Portharcourt, his wife paid his transport fare and following her generous act , he wooed her and they started dating .
Fast forward to November of 2021, they are now celebrating their second wedding anniversary. The lovestruck gentleman ended his Facebook post with ‘Given another opportunity, my Love, I will do this a million times over with you.
He wrote,
“She paid my fare, I paid her dowry. The first time I spoke to her was in a taxi (from Choba junction) and before I could pay for my fare she brought out money and paid. I wasn’t going to let it slide so I prepared myself, wooed her, walked boldly into her family (Igwe-Elenwo in Rumuchakara, Choba), paid her dowry and went to church to seal it before the congregation. It’s been a wonderful journey of love together (the full story will be told one day): relationship started Nov. 1st 2015, introduction was 9th Nov. 2018 (traditional marriage on August 24th 2019) and white wedding on 9th Nov. 2019. Today, marks our second year anniversary.

Nigerian music mogul, 2Faceโs baby mama, Pero has sued his wife, Annie Idibia where she demands an apology, a retraction and N500m as compensation for damages.
In the lawsuit notice that was served to the actress on November 10, Pero’s lawyers referenced Annie’s Instagram outburst and the audio tape which went viral weeks back where she alleged that her husband, 2Face “packed his bags and came to America to see her (Pero) and his other kids“.
Pero’s lawyers stated that these allegations are “blatantly false, misrepresents facts and portrayed Pero as an individual with loose morals“. Annie was further accused of engaging in โmalicious and libelous online publicationโ which subjected Pero and her kids to online harassment and bullying.

Nigeria’s Head of States, President Muhammadu Buhari has said the country is open to French nationals who wish to leave France and seek greener pastures in Africaโs most populous country.
โThose who come from France seeking opportunities in Nigeria are today welcomed with open arms,โ the President said in an opinion published in Paris Daily LโOpinion on Friday, November 12.
Mr Buhari, who is attending the Paris Peace Forum in France, stated that Nigeriaโs growing population is a huge market for France to take advantage of.

Ann Ikeme, the sister of Samuel Iwelu, one of the victims of the Ikoyi building which collapsed on November 1, has revealed that he died less than 10 minutes after he stopped recording his usual Whatsapp stories in his car.
According to the lady, her late brother shared his usual Whatsapp Status by 12:48 (UK time) which is 13:48 local time and the collapse occurred by 13:56 local time as reported by CNN’s Steph Busari.
She also bemoaned the fact that one phone call might have saved his life by keeping him back in the car, and a 10 minutes delay could have made them see again.

The wife of Lagos pastor, Taiwo Odukoya, Nomthi, will be buried on November 30.
According to the funeral arrangement which was released by the family on yesterday, November 12, a Night of tribute will be held in her honor at the Fountain of Life, Ilupeju, Lagos on Monday, November 29.
Pastor Nomthi died on November 9 after a two-year battle with cancer.
Pastor Taiwo in his social media post, said he loved her with all his heart but he has to accept the will of God.
โShe gave me 11 beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life. I loved her with all my heart but who am I to fight the will of God,โ he wrote.
Taiwo and Nomthi who wedded in January 2010, are senior pastors of the Fountain of Life Bible Church, a Pentecostal church in Ilupeju, Lagos.
Mr Odukoyaโs first wife, Bimbo, was a popular televangelist who died in the ill-fated Sosoliso crash on December 10, 2005.

A 34-year-old man, has surrendered to the police after he killed another man after allegedly catching him having sex with his wife, in Dedza, Malawi.
Mbungule Faisoni, of Mchira village, Traditional Authority Kaphuka in the district allegedly killed 54-year-old Lembetsani Tchaison, claiming that he caught him red handed having sex with his wife in the garden.
Dedza district police publicist Cassim Manda, who confirmed the incident on Friday, November 12, said the murder offence happened on November 5.
After committing the offense, Faison fled to unknown destination and was on wanted list by Dedza Police until Thursday, when he came out of hiding to surrender himself to the said station.
Faisoni told police that he fears he will be killed by the deceased family member.

Nigerian singer and mother of one, Simi has reacted after Nigerians dragged her for her reaction to a “fake aww” an air hostess gave her daughter.
The ‘woman’ crooner had taken to Twitter to air her displeasure over a greeting which she considers fake, her daughter, Adejare received from an air hostess.

President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that Nigerians are competitive abroad because of the quality education they’ve acquired before leaving their fatherland.
Buhari stated this during a meeting with the Minister of State Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Shaikh Shakboot Alnahyan, while he urged Nigerians in Diaspora to always abide by the rules of their host countries.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina in a statement titled โNigerians Competitive Both Home And Abroad, President Buhari Tells UAE Minister’, quoted him as saying,
“Nigerians are all over the place, very competitive. And the competitiveness starts from home, where they have acquired good education, gone into businesses, and then take all that abroad.
President Buhari encouraged Nigerians in Diaspora to subject themselves to the rules and standards of the country in which they live either as working class, or doing businesses. He welcomed the offer by UAE to partner with Nigeria in the areas of renewable energy, agriculture, infrastructure logistics, and provision of vaccines to further control the COVID-19 pandemic.
Minister Shakboot Alnahyan said his country โthinks very highly โof President Buhariโs leadership, noting that he was striving to โbuild a better future for generations to come. He said there were lots of Nigerians in his country, โwho add much value,โ assuring that the headwinds of the recent past in the relationship โare now behind us. We want to secure, deepen and strengthen the association for the future. We have a lot in common. We may be taking small steps, but they are leading somewhere.

He said he was born in Scripture Union Crusade Ground in Methodist Church, Owerri, and the officiating minister, Rev Ogbonna, christened him ‘Gospel’.

Governance expert and public figure, Dr Joe Abah was recently involved in a car accident but thankfully, he survived.
Abah who took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to share photos of the damaged cars noted that he survived the accident which happened on the Third Mainland bridge, Lagos because he used seat belt.
According to him, he had to seek medical attention after the multiple car crash and doctors told him the outcome could have been worse if he wasn’t using the safety device while seated at the back.

The veteran shared photos of the badly damaged car which crashed into a tree on her official Instagram page and disclosed that she came out unhurt.

Social media Influencer, Dr Chinonse Egemba popularly known as Aproko Doctor, has sparked a debate online after he dropped a hot take about safe abortions.
According to him, safe abortion services will be readily available in Africa if men were the ones who carry pregnancies.
Taking to Twitter, Aproko doctor insinuated that the controversy surrounding abortion wouldn’t be in existence and safe abortion would be a norm if men also got pregnant.
He tweeted: “I’m thinking. If men were to get pregnant, safe abortion services would be READILY available, especially in these parts of the world.”
His opinion has stirred mixed reactions on social media and a lot of people, especially men, criticized him for it.
Some opined that his statement is flawed because there are several male-related health issues that a solution hasn’t been found for yet so the society doesn’t really prioritize men, as he insinuated in his tweet.
