Feeling of succor, relief and hope returned yesterday for ailing veteran Nollywood actor Ani Chukwuemeka after receiving N6 million from the founder and senior prophet of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, Warri, billionaire Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.
While two other actors, who were with Chukwuemeka received additional N1 million, bringing the gift to N7 million, the actor, who is currently battling for his life stated that the gesture from the man of God was shocking.
Chukwuemeka , while narrating his ordeal said the state of his health had degenerated in 2020 as a wound, which developed in his buttocks was operated in Owerri.
The development, however did not abate, stressing that a special type of diabetes he has been battling with kept worsening his situation.
He had made a video begging people to help him live on social media. It’ll be recalled that on the 23rd of October 2021, just last week, Popular Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie had posted the video on his verified Instagram handle.
Chukwuemeka had disclosed in the video that he was also close to going blind as cataract had already developed in one of his eye.
He noted that the worsening health challenge had developed into a partial stroke, while calling on Nigerians to help him.
Fufeyin, renowned for philanthropy said he had noticed the video online and was touched about the actor’s predicament.
Fufeyin had during the Sunday Service of 31st of October 2021 at his church called out the actor and provided him with cash for the hospital bills while praying for him and others who were at the service with him.
Reacting to the gift, Chukwuemeka said, “I want to thank God for this wonderful gesture from the Senior Prophet of God, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin. I am so happy. I never expected this. Even though I know that he helps people financially and otherwise. I never knew he was going to give me huge amount of money like this. I want to thank members of the church. I want to thank the prophet of God.”
Popularly called Owomowomo, Fufeyin has being in the news for the good reason, especially in ways of helping society through his foundation. Just recently , he displayed same gesture to Actor Leo Mezie, who was battling with Kidney complications by providing him with N3million in April 2019 in the company of Kanayo O. Kanayo and many others. Also in 2016, Prophet Fufeyin supported late actor Ernest Asuzu with an SUV Jeep worth 4million and cash gift of 2Million to start a new life to mention a few.

News reaching us this hour is that of a collapsed 21-storey building in the Ikoyi area of Lagos.
According to reports surrounding the news, quite a number of people are said to be trapped in the building which appears to be a construction site.
The building, which is under construction is located at off Alexander way, Gerrard Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State.
According to Arise News, scores are trapped in the rubble including the owner of the building.
One person believed to be a construction worker has pulled out.

A scary incident has occurred in Lagos as a multi-storey building collapsed with people trapped in it.
According to reports, the owner of the building and several of his engineers, are currently trapped in the building.
They were having a routine meeting when the building collapsed.
Except for a fire service team, very little rescue effort is ongoing.
An eyewitness, Muhammad Tukur shared photos from the scene and wrote ;
Literally saw my life before me. A 12-storey building in Ikoyi collapsed before my eyes. A reminiscent of the 9/11.
I don’t think I’d be alive to tweet this if it were the one closer to our window. Our office was vibrating as the building was collapsing.

A Nigerian lady has sparked outrage with a controversial comment she made in a video she shared on social media.
The lady identified as Esther Nwachukwu in a video serving rounds online, boldly stated that she would have loved to sleep with her father but her love for her mum is restraining her.
Esther, an actress from Imo state said that she doesn’t want her mother to suffer from a heart attack that could lead to her death, as a result of her action, else she would have considered being intimate with her dad.
Sharing the video on her Instagram page, she wrote, “If not for the love I have for my mother and I do not want my mother to die who is my father wey i no fit knack”.
As expected Nigerians and tons of moral police has trooped to the comment section to berate her for the nasty comment about her dad.

A young Nigerian lady has averred that any man who ask his woman for financial assistance in a relationship does not love her.
According to the lady identified as @GoodnessAdeosun, when a man is in need of financial help he should rather ask his friends, parents or siblings than ask his woman.
She stated that although women ask their men for money, any man that does that has no respect for the woman and only using her.

Big Brother Naija season 6 star, Queen has narrated how she narrowly escaped a horrific incident that could have ended badly this morning, November 1.
According to the reality show star who was lodged in a room in the 25th floor of an hotel, there was a fire incident in the hotel and the fire alarm went off but she didn’t pay attention to it.
She said her hotel room and lobby was filled with smoke, so she alerted her best friend and brother who were also in the same room.
However, due to the nature of the emergency, the light was disconnected and the elevator stopped working. She said they had to look for another means to get to the ground floor and luckily, they found the staircase.
According to her, all the while, she was speaking in tongues and praying to God to avert the situation. Fortunately, they all made it out in one piece.

Eight prophets drown in Zimbabwe while competing to retrieve “holy stick” from river (video)
Eight self-acclaimed prophets have drowned during a ceremony in a river in Rushinga, Mashonaland Central Province, Zimbabwe.
It was gathered that the prophets from the Vadzidzi vaJeso Apostolic sect drowned at Mazowe River while competing to retrieve a holy stick.
They fell into a trance during their annual Passover ceremony and stampeded into the river, resulting in their drowning.
The unfortunate incident happened on Saturday afternoon, October 30th. Confirming the incident, the provincial development coordinator for Mashonaland Central Province, Timothy Maregere, stated that the body of the deceased have since been retrieved.
According to Maregere, the victims consisted of 10 prophets and only two survived. Local media however reported that the prophets were competing to retrieve a “holy stick” in the deep waters of the river during a ritual to select a Baptist.
Mashonaland Central deputy police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Naison Dhliwayo, on Sunday, named the now deceased as Nickson Singano (29), Peter Marera (31), Tendai Marera (28), Alexeio Makombe (26), Tichawana Katiyo (32), Isaac Dokora (21), Lanciot Dokora (34) and Chriswell Kunyengerera.

Popular Cameroonian singer and entrepreneur, Dencia has taken to social media to tackle some Africans based abroad over their dubious activities.
In an Instastory post, Dencia called out abroad-based Africans for sending sub-standard products and broken cars to Africa because of greed.
According to her, whenever they want to export items to Africa, they mostly send expired, old and rejected items to Africa, despite knowing that Africa does not have fast and reliable health care system that would treat people who get affected from using the item.
The singer further admonished them to do better especially when it concerns their own people in Africa.

Woman seeks advice after receiving insults from mother-in-law over ‘revealing outfit’ (Video)
An embattled wife has taken to social media to seek advice after her mother-in-law blasted her over her choice of outfit in a video.
The woman identified as Annytex on Tiktok revealed she shared a video on the platform dancing in the supposed revealing cloth with her husband.
The mother-in-law who appeared to be displeased with the cloth her son’s wife wore in the video, sent her text complaining about the outfit and lambasted her.
“Shame on you, see the kain dress you’re wearing and exposing yourself in the public, and your husband is happy about it because you’ve used charm to hold him,” the text allegedly read.
Confused about how to react to her mother-in-law’s message, the lady asked social media users for advice on whether to reply or just show the message to her husband.

According to the Actor, that saying has led many to an early grave.

“One of the biggest lies I believed all my life, and till date still see people make the same mistake, is the lie that YOU CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE. This sentence has led so many people to their untimely death, frustration and hopelessness.
Imagine telling a sofa you can be a fridge or a fridge you can be a bed if you believe. Before the manufacturer of the sofa even started manufacturing it, he already knew the purpose of the sofa and the problem it would solve. The manufacture finished the product in his mind even before he started.
Just like the sofa, fridge and bed every individual on earth was created for a different purpose but, the biggest problem they are faced with is HOW TO DISCOVER THEIR PURPOSE. Whenever a product is created there are usually two ways for one to know the purpose of that product (1) ask the manufacturer or (2) read the manual that comes with the product.
You are a product that was created by a manufacturer(God) who before you were born knows what you will become ( Jeremiah 1:5. UNN student who got into trouble with school authorities over viral tw*rking video, breaks silence (Video)
Mirabel Obi, the young lady who went viral after she reportedly twerked publicly for a 10K Naira Prize and was subsequently punished by the school’s authorities has broken her silence on the now-controversial issue.

It is no news that a female UNN student was expelled from UNN after supposedly stripping to win 10k in a dance competition.
Well, I am that student. Normally I would let this slide because I am not clout chasing and I owe no one an explanation, but, am tired of seeing different fake news on the story and at this moment, I feel it is pertinent to address this issue publicly. This is the real story behind it all.
My name is Mirabel, a medical student of UNN. On the 28th, October 2021, there was an awareness for a concert in the school. Awareness is what people do almost everytime and what comes with it is usually a dance competition and that day, we were competing for 30k. I happened to be one of the contenders. I have watched a lot of girls compete in the past and what they wore was nothing better than mine. It was equivalent to what I wore and sometimes worse, because after all, we feel we are dancing in front of our fellow females, but then I feel the amount I made was the reason for the video going viral.
The Dean of Student Affairs got hold of the video and I really do not know what they told him about me that made him rage in so much anger and also to make the decision to expel me.
Here are the points am trying to make.
1. I am not and was never expelled because we all know that you cannot expel a student on the ground of twerking.
2. We were all dancing in front of the girls hostel, and there was never a place that twerking is violating the school rules and regulations.
3. Twerking has nothing to with my academics because you can’t even make it to be a medical student in UNN without crossing 300 and above in ur JAMB. I am still very serious and I know how to balance my social/academic life.
4. It was never a competition for 10k. It was 30k.
5. I wasn’t expelled, I repeat I was only harrassed without being heard from (the authorities in question badged into my hostel and ransacked my properties).
6. Ever since then, I have faced so much humiliation, I don’t even know how to come out anymore, I keep wondering if it was really worth it. A lot of my properties have been damaged and some are nowhere to be found like how do you invade someone’s privacy.

The female University of Nigeria student that was threatened with expulsion over a video of her twerking almost naked, has finally broken her silence.
Recall that a video of the young lady dancing with her bare butt to win N10k at an event in the school found its way to the internet and sparked outrage. ICYMI
The lady has now identified herself as Mirabel Obi and revealed she’s a first year student of medicine at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
Mirabel who took her Instagram page to clear the air stated that she wasn’t expelled from the institution as viral reports alleged, and the prize money for the dance competition was not N10k but N30k.
According to her, since the video went viral she has been subjected to several humiliation that she’s now sacred of coming out of her house.
