“We need to do better” — Singer, Dencia says as she tackles Africans based abroad

Singer, Dencia says

Popular Cameroonian singer and entrepreneur, Dencia has taken to social media to tackle some Africans based abroad over their dubious activities.

 Dencia says

In an Instastory post, Dencia called out abroad-based Africans for sending sub-standard products and broken cars to Africa because of greed.

According to her, whenever they want to export items to Africa, they mostly send expired, old and rejected items to Africa, despite knowing that Africa does not have fast and reliable health care system that would treat people who get affected from using the item.

The singer further admonished them to do better especially when it concerns their own people in Africa.

She wrote,

“Africans abroad do some things that will have you questioning how they think. We literally talk shit about the government & colonial masters but how we do our own people.. far worst

You buy broken cars abroad with serious issues that can’t be fixed, 2 miles away from brakes failing & send to Africa to be sold for public transportation, a continent u know doesn’t have real emergency hospital situations. U are intentionally causing mass murders just cuz of greed. everytime most Africans think of sending stuff, doing certain thigs, it’s old rejected shit from 1st world countries.

Some pharmacists go as far as changing dates of meds & sending expired less potent meds that ends up killing folks, not because its poisonous but because it’s not potent enough to cure folks.

We need 2 do better as humans especially when it comes to our people.”

“Criticizing successful people is you telling God you’re not ready for blessing in your life” – Actor, Williams Uchemba

Nollywood actor and philanthropist, Williams Uchemba has penned down an important advice to people who doubt or criticize the blessing of others.

The actor in an Instagram post urged them to desist from such act as it also hinders them from getting their blessings.

He averred that those who are in the habit of criticizing successful people or those on their way to success, are indirectly telling God to stop their own blessings.

According to him, “Always doubting or criticizing people that are either successful or on their way to succy, especially when you think they are not qualified, is you indirectly telling God that you are not ready for a miracle/blessing in your own life.”

See his post below,

In other news, popular Nollywood Actor, Williams Uchemba, has taken to his social media page to share his opinion on being motivated by the famous quote ‘you can be whatever you want to be’.

According to the Actor, that saying has led many to an early grave.

His post on Instagram reads;

“One of the biggest lies I believed all my life, and till date still see people make the same mistake, is the lie that YOU CAN BE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BE. This sentence has led so many people to their untimely death, frustration and hopelessness.

Imagine telling a sofa you can be a fridge or a fridge you can be a bed if you believe. Before the manufacturer of the sofa even started manufacturing it, he already knew the purpose of the sofa and the problem it would solve. The manufacture finished the product in his mind even before he started.

Just like the sofa, fridge and bed every individual on earth was created for a different purpose but, the biggest problem they are faced with is HOW TO DISCOVER THEIR PURPOSE. Whenever a product is created there are usually two ways for one to know the purpose of that product (1) ask the manufacturer or (2) read the manual that comes with the product.

You are a product that was created by a manufacturer(God) who before you were born knows what you will become ( Jeremiah 1:5. Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”) and how you will be function better, but we live in a world that is constantly trying to figure out their purpose, reading everything and asking everyone except the one that created. When you stick to the manufacturer that created you (God) and the Manuel he provided( The word of God) I bet you that the purpose why you are on earth will manifest.

DONT BE WHAT YOU WANT TO BE, BE WHAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO BE BECAUSE ITS ONLY THEN WILL YOU FIND GRACE TO EXCEL🤗”.

UNN student who got into trouble with school authorities over viral tw*rking video, breaks silence (Video)

Mirabel Obi, the young lady who went viral after she reportedly twerked publicly for a 10K Naira Prize and was subsequently punished by the school’s authorities has broken her silence on the now-controversial issue.

Read her statement below ;

It is no news that a female UNN student was expelled from UNN after supposedly stripping to win 10k in a dance competition.

Well, I am that student. Normally I would let this slide because I am not clout chasing and I owe no one an explanation, but, am tired of seeing different fake news on the story and at this moment, I feel it is pertinent to address this issue publicly. This is the real story behind it all.

My name is Mirabel, a medical student of UNN. On the 28th, October 2021, there was an awareness for a concert in the school. Awareness is what people do almost everytime and what comes with it is usually a dance competition and that day, we were competing for 30k. I happened to be one of the contenders. I have watched a lot of girls compete in the past and what they wore was nothing better than mine. It was equivalent to what I wore and sometimes worse, because after all, we feel we are dancing in front of our fellow females, but then I feel the amount I made was the reason for the video going viral.

The Dean of Student Affairs got hold of the video and I really do not know what they told him about me that made him rage in so much anger and also to make the decision to expel me.

Here are the points am trying to make.

1. I am not and was never expelled because we all know that you cannot expel a student on the ground of twerking.
2. We were all dancing in front of the girls hostel, and there was never a place that twerking is violating the school rules and regulations.
3. Twerking has nothing to with my academics because you can’t even make it to be a medical student in UNN without crossing 300 and above in ur JAMB. I am still very serious and I know how to balance my social/academic life.
4. It was never a competition for 10k. It was 30k.
5. I wasn’t expelled, I repeat I was only harrassed without being heard from (the authorities in question badged into my hostel and ransacked my properties).
6. Ever since then, I have faced so much humiliation, I don’t even know how to come out anymore, I keep wondering if it was really worth it. A lot of my properties have been damaged and some are nowhere to be found like how do you invade someone’s privacy.

Below is the video that got her into trouble ;

Female UNN student threatened with expulsion for nude-twerking breaks silence (VIDEO)

The female University of Nigeria student that was threatened with expulsion over a video of her twerking almost naked, has finally broken her silence.

Recall that a video of the young lady dancing with her bare butt to win N10k at an event in the school found its way to the internet and sparked outrage. ICYMI

The lady has now identified herself as Mirabel Obi and revealed she’s a first year student of medicine at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Mirabel who took her Instagram page to clear the air stated that she wasn’t expelled from the institution as viral reports alleged, and the prize money for the dance competition was not N10k but N30k.

According to her, since the video went viral she has been subjected to several humiliation that she’s now sacred of coming out of her house.

Popular Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa is the anchor to this year’s season of the Gulder Ultimate Search show and so far, in the few weeks that the show has aired, a lot has been said about her job as host.

Before it stopped airing some years back, fans were used to hosts like actors, Bob Manuel, Chidi Mokeme anchoring the show and as such, have somewhat required Makinwa to live up to their standards as host of the show this season.

As the show airs its weekly episodes every weekend, there’s been one criticism or the other on the media personality. She recently replied to one who questioned her choice of appearance while hosting the show.

According to the tweep, Toke had too much going on on her appearance as though she was auditioning for the show and not hosting it. See her response,

Boma-Tega scandal : Married people shouldn’t be allowed to participate – BBN ‘shine ya eyes’ winner, WhiteMoney

The winner of the last edition of Big Brother Naija, WhiteMoney, has suggested that participation of married people in the reality TV show should be ‘scrapped’ due to the scandal it may cause in the aftermath.

In an interview with Media Room Hub, WhiteMoney said BBN should not be a platform that is known for breaking homes, instead it should be a platform that is known for upholding integrity.

Read excerpts from the interview below ;

Q: Most men thinks a lot of women are woke, for instance what happen between Boma and Tega in the Big Brother house that went viral and Tega’s husband took her back with all what we saw in house?

WhiteMoney :

In that scenario, if you are a married person and you allowed your spouse to go for Big Brother Naija, you two must have a deep understanding, you know what you signed up for but it not easy to watch your spouse with another person, if there was no understanding, she wouldn’t have go in the first place.

Q: There is this debate online after what happened between Tega and Boma that married couple does have any business in the Big Brother Naija show. What your take on that?

WhiteMoney : think that is right because you don’t want to be the platform that is known for breaking homes, you want to be a platform that uphold integrity and if you watch the history of Big Brother Naija from mercy’s time, you see it is always from street to fame, so you will want to maintain that pace, you don’t want to have scandal, for me if they ask me, I would say they should scrap out married people.

Big Brother you know I love you so much, you made me a star, anything I tell you to do for me, you always do it, Biggie do just one thing for me which is to scrap out married people from the show for the sake of the platform, like this year people said Big Brother taught them a lot of things, I have a lot of elderly people who watches Big Brother Naija this year and it happened that they said it was because of me they watched it, they saw house mates who are co-existing without being toxic. Scrap out married people because not every person are discipline to resist beautiful ladies, sexy women for more than two month. Till today Boma and Tega are still being dragged, it might die down today but it can never be erased, If he or she tries to contest for anything, this issue will resurface, the disadvantage is bigger than the advantage, that was one of the reason I avoided most things in the house.

“Am I posting my son too much?” – Regina Daniels asks after an ex-friend said it’s why her son got sick

Billionaire wife and actress, Regina Daniels has asked her fans about how she consistently puts her son, Munir, on social media after an ex-friend of hers complained about it.

Daniels took to her Snapchat page recently to share a series of posts where she revealed that an ex-friend complained of how frequently Munir’s pictures are posted online and said it probably was the cause of her child getting sick.

She wrote,

“Guys I have a question….an ex friend told me “Gina you are posting your son too much, it’s not good there are evil eyes everywhere, I’m sure that’s why he’s not feeling fine because as at then, moon wasn’t feeling fine,” She said.

Regina Daniels continues, “So I laughed and said nahhh there’s no such thing because personally, I don’t believe in that, she said it’s true it happens everywhere stop posting him like that but you will not listen. I said i don’t think like that, beside I’m a public person and my son is so cute so I’m just showing off it,
So she said no problem and ended the call. But here comes my concern, that same person now posts her son like almost every day, and I’m wondering could it be that she took my leads or was your annoyed seeing my son on her timeline irk

Personally, what comes to my mind when I see a friend’s baby or any other cute child is “awww so cute like my moon” if I see the child 1million times, I compliment 1 million times. So guys tell me do you think I post my child too much ? Does he anno our timeline ????
While others always give compliments that I can’t even begin to type always ask for either the picture or the video, take screenshots, use as DP, you know, a lot of positive vibe
AS IT SHOULD BE!”
