A young man has been arraigned in court after he was nabbed while filming a woman without her consent at a public toilet in Nairobi.
It was gathered that the man identified as Mark Mutongoi reportedly filmed one Margret Wangari without her consent at Rubis petrol station in Westlands, Nairobi.
The woman was alerted when she heard movements around the wash room, she immediately alerted fellow women who were within the area and this led to the arrest of the suspect.
Court prosecutor Robert Ogallo told the court, “After she was done she heard some movement behind the washroom”.
The court heard that it was the suspect’s movement that alerted the complainant, and she discovered that the accused person had strategically placed his phone on the washroom’s window and was recording her.
Appearing before senior principal magistrate Charles Mwaniki at Kibera Law Courts, the suspect pleaded guilty and told the court that he committed the offence to please his eyes.
Mark Mutongoi also claimed that at the time he was committing the offence, he was possessed.

Nigerian singer and mother of one, Tiwa Savage has addressed those criticizing her over the alleged sex tape with her lover.
It can be recalled that the singer recently disclosed she was being blackmailed with a sex tape of her and her boyfriend, which was mistakenly shared on Snapchat.
The singer during her stage performance at the Eko On Show concert a few days ago made a joke about the sex-tape and assured the public they will never get to see it.
However, on Monday evening a sex-tape alleging to be hers made its way to the internet and stirred fresh reactions from people, with many criticizing her.

According to a Facebook user, Prince Ebukason Victor, who disclosed this in a post he shared on the platform on Monday, October 18th, Chisom popularly know as Mikky Miguel buried his father few months ago.
The deceased is a father of two and married to an Indonesian national.

Asides from extortion, blackmail, illegally obtaining her nude photos and many more, Tonto Dikeh has added an attempted murder allegation to her charges against ex-boyfriend, Prince Kpokpogri.
Popular blogger, Stella Dimor Korkus had reported that Kpokpogri had been arrested on Monday, October 18, after a public altercation with the actress.
She revealed that on Sunday, October 17, Prince Kpokpogri had traced his Lexus SUV still in the possession of Tonto Dikeh to the parking lot of Nicon Hotel in Abuja where the actress was allegedly lodged.
He jammed the tyres of the car and used a white car to block the Lexus from being moved.
This led to an uproar at the parking lot and staff of the hotel tried to stop him but his Police escort reportedly threatened to shoot a female staff of the hotel who tried to Intervene.
The management of the hotel in retaliation locked the wheels of the white car he used in blocking the Lexus SUV:
On Monday, both Tonto Dikeh and Prince Kpokpogri were summoned to the Police force CID Headquarters where they both answered to questions until about 8pm.
Prince Kpokpogri and his two Police aides were reportedly arrested for harassment and are currently being held.
A fan in the comment section of that post had questioned why Tonto us refusing to return the Lexus SUV back to Kpokpogri. She had replied,

It’s being wildly reported on social media that Ghanaian dancehall singer, Shatta Wale has been hospitalized after he was shot by some gunmen.
According to the several reports, he was reportedly shot by gunmen at East Legon on Monday evening, leaving him in a critical condition. The singer is reported to have been admitted at an emergency unit of a hospital (yet to be known) in Accra following the incident.
Shatta Wale’s Personal Assistant, Nana Dope confirmed the report on his Snapchat and asked Ghanaians to keep Shatta Wale in their prayers. He also revealed that videos of the singer in a pool of blood shouldn’t be circulated on social media.
He wrote,
“Please those circulating the video should kindly stop!! i believe the king is gona come out alive and okay!!! keep him in your prayers! they can never bring a good man down!!! shatta wale is stronger than this so lets be otroch for him.”
Nana also revealed that the Ghanaian police intervened after the shooting. He added;

On hearing the news, the police have launched an investigation into the matter including making contacts with some of his close friends and family members and all of them claim not to have knowledge of his whereabouts or the alleged incident.
A team has visited the house of Shatta Wale and he cannot be found there.

Preliminary investigations by the Police reveal the widely reported gunshot attack on Shatta Wale yesterday Monday, 18th October, 2021 was a hoax.
Shatta Wale and one other person popularly referred to as ‘Deportee’ are currently being pursued for their possible involvement and knowledge of the circulation of false information with the intention to cause fear and panic.

Faniran, who represented Nigeria in the 9th edition of the reality show which held in 2014, said he wants to know what happened in the finale stage of the show because he has been hearing that he was robbed.
According to him, he doesn’t want to lose his position in the entertainment industry but he needs an explanation for what really happened because a part of him got damaged after the show.
Tayo was the first runner up while Tanzanian actor, Idris Sultan emerged winner of the reality show.

Billionaire heiress and singer, Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy, has taken to social media to celebrate as she officially becomes a student of the Oxford University, UK.
The disc jockey shared photos from the matriculation ceremony and in her caption spoke on how she worked very hard to get in.
Proud of her accomplishment Cuppy congratulated herself and commended herself for the hard work which finally paid off.
“HUGE 🤯 Matriculation Day at @Oxford_Uni 🎓🪄 This ceremony confers my membership as a student! Worked my ass off to get in and it’s paid off!” She wrote.
Recall that in March 2021 the singer share the thrilling news that she has been admitted into the prestigious institution for a masters degree, with her fans and followers.
She also shared a video of the moment she shared the big news with her parents and the singer sounded exhilarated to be accepted into the reputable institution.
The University of Ibadan, Oyo State, is currently in a state of mourning after losing two of its students to the cold hands of death within 24 hours.
The deceased students, identified as Adedayo Ridwan, a final year student of the Department of History, Faculty of Arts, and Adeyemo Oluwaseun Ayomide, a 200 level student of the Department of Microbiology, Faculty of Science, died over the weekend in separate unfortunate circumstances.
The male deceased, Adedayo was shot dead by some armed robbers who accosted him in the early hours of Saturday, October 16, around Preboye Complex, Ibadan. The robbers reportedly collected his phone before shooting him. All efforts to save his life proved abortive as he was unable to make it to the hospital.
In a separate tragic event, the female deceased, Oluwaseun was reportedly hit by a vehicle on her way home from church on Sunday, October 17.
The accident was said to have occurred around Mobil filling station, opposite the institution. She was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, the institution is yet to release an official statement over the tragic incidents.
