Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele-Bello recently shared a video of herself riding on a bike popularly called Okada in Nigeria’s commercial city, Lagos state.
According to the mum-of-two, she had to hop on a bike because of how serious the traffic on her route was. She stated that she couldn’t allow the traffic hold her down so she ditched her cars and hopped on a bike.
Funke Akindele, who is the executive producer of blockbuster movie ‘Omo Ghetto’ which literally means ‘Child of the slum’, noted that she took bike because she is an ‘omo ghetto’.
She shared the video on her Instagram page and wrote,

A Nigerian father has taken to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to lament after his kids broke their expensive TV set.
The man identified as Fola Olatunj-David shared photos of the damaged television set and joked about being in tears.
“Tears inna mi eyes”, he wrote.
Fola’s tweet however stirred mixed reactions from social media users, while some netizens berated him for putting the TV at the little ones reach, others shared their similar experiences in the comment section.

Nollywood actor cum filmmaker, John Njamah has taken to social media to bemoan the new criteria for choosing brand ambassadors in Nigeria.
According to him, brands no longer consider the moral and intellectual credibility of people before bringing them onboard, instead they pick controversial people and give them ambassadorial deals.
He stated that all one needs to land endorsement deals nowadays is to be controversial, go viral for the wrong reasons, get butt enlargement surgeries, or pose naked on social media.

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown has hinted that he doesn’t mind sharing the same man with his sister, Gracious Brown.

Former Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye housemate’, Saga has disclosed that it’s been hard for him sleeping without his love interest, Nini.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adeboye, has said he will get vaccinated against the coronavirus for the sake of preaching the gospel globally.
While speaking at his church’s monthly Holy Ghost convention on Friday, Adeboye stated that he has never told anyone not to get the vaccine.

Former Nigerian lawmaker, Florence Ita Giwa recently linked up with Nigerian celebrity couple, 2baba and Annie Idibia.

LGBTQ Activist, Bisi Alimi has sparked outrage on social media over a controversial post he shared on his official Instagram page about God.
The openly gay activist had claimed that there is no solid evidence to back the existence of God but Africans blindly believe there is God. However, there are numerous evidence of slavery and importation of Christianity, but Africans don’t care about it.
Taking to his Instastory, Bisi Alimi wrote, “There is no single evidence of God but Africans believe it. We have numerous evidence of slavery, and importation of Christianity, But Africans don’t care”
Bisi’s post didn’t sit well with many and it has stirred a debate online, with Nigerians sharing their thoughts about the topic.
