Nigerian youtuber, Aanu Kolade, has taken to Twitter to address Christian ladies who wear revealing clothes because they believe God only looks at the heart.

According to Aanu, she has observed the recent trend of ladies donning outfits that exposes their breasts and thighs to parties, popularly called “Owambe” in Nigeria.

She stated that being lusted after by men is not a compliment and Christian ladies should dress and act like royalty.

Human right activist, Reno Omokri has reacted to a video of Big Brother Naija housemate, Pere fans protesting over the game twist announced on Sunday night.

Earlier today, fans of the ex-military officer, who was fake evicted last night and currently battling with his colleague, Angel for the last spot in the finale, staged a protest over the development calling it unfair.

Reacting to a video from the protest ground which surfaced online, Reno Omokri berated the protesters. According to him, there are more pressing issue that needs the voice of the people rather than a reality show.

“These Nigerians are not protesting because the Naira is now worth less than the Zimbabwean dollar, or because insecurity has made life in Nigeria a living hell, or because of Buhari’s refusal to name Boko Haram’s sponsors, or because VAT is collected by the Federal Government from states that generate income and given to states that mostly just consume. They are protesting because they claim Big Brother cheated Pere.

Now, you see why Nigeria is the way she is? Ask Nigerians to come out to protest for their rights and few will come out, if any. Ask them to come out for a Wizkid concert, and people who can’t feed will miraculously acquire money and sell out the concert. Imagine this going on on a Monday, when they should be productive at work or their businesses. We love to give our energies to the trivial, not the vital. An abroad-based Nigerian man, identified as Nadalchukwu, broke down in tears after his bride surprised him with a car gift on their wedding day.

In the video shared online, the groom was led to the parking lot by his wife and some wedding guests who were also aware of the surprise.

However, the groom seemed disoriented and confused like he was wondering what was going on at his own wedding. Some voices in the background could be heard teasing the groom because of his confused look.

Upon getting to the parking lot, a car key and documents were presented to him by an acquittance, who also pointed towards the direction where the car was parked and revealed that it was a gift from his wife.

The groom couldn’t hold his emotions as he broke down in tears and gave his wife an appreciation hug.

Bouncer stabs teenage boy to death for allegedly trying to pick money sprayed at a wedding in Delta

A bouncer, identified as Francis Utuedor, has been arrested for killing a teenage boy, Oghenemaro Eriana, at a wedding reception in Delta state.

It was gathered that the incident occurred during a wedding reception at Wetland Hotel in Mofor, Udu Local Government Area of the state on Saturday, September 25.

The secondary school student was reportedly trying to pick up naira notes being sprayed on the couple when the overzealous bouncer grabbed him and stabbed him to death.

Reports have it that Oghenemaro went to the wedding party with his mother, who lost an older son two months before this unfortunate incident. The deceased and his mum were said to be at the wedding because the groom is their neighbour.

Spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the incident said the suspect has been arrested.

“It happened at Wetland Hotel. The suspect is in our custody.” Edafe said.

The proud new mother took to Facebook on September 22, to share the good news and photos of the newborn twins.

A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to advise single men and women on why they should consider a person’s family background before marriage.

According to the man identified as @jaysonrogue on the micro-blogging platform, in choosing a partner it’s better to marry someone from a peaceful family.

He noted that the human mind, especially at birth is viewed as having no innate ideas, so humans learn from their environment and experiences. Therefore, someone who is from a hostile family would be a bad choice.

“Marry someone who comes from a peaceful home. Aggression is a learned behavior”, he tweeted.

A tweep @danyphonia however aired a contrary opinion, “I think aggression is in born traits just as compassion and meekness is also. How we choose to train or develop these traits depends on the society n how we are been trained”. he wrote.

Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Angel’s dad has alleged that his daughter has been receiving fearful threats since the game twist announced last night.

Two housemates, Pere and Angel were fake evicted from the house last night and taken into a white-room where they would play a game to determine their fate. As announced by Biggie, the first person to complete the task will earn a spot in the grand finale and the person who loses would exit the house.

The twist however sparked outrage from viewers on social media since Pere topped the chart with 25.31%, while Angel had only 14.63% votes.

Reacting to the shocking turn of events in a post shared on his Ingram page, Angel’s dad expressed concern for his daughter’s safety when she finally leaves the house.

According to him, his 21-year-old daughter has received tons of fearful threats since the show-host, Ebuka announced the twist last night.

“The past 12hrs has been exhausting, emotional and brought a lot of past pains to your loved ones!
How much more you? All the threats received has created questions and fear of what will happen when you finally leave the show…..

After it was revealed by organizers (Biggie) of the reality TV show that housemate, Pere would have to participate in a game with fellow housemate, Angel and that the winner of the game will earn a spot in the finale, fans of Pere have staged a protest over the development calling it unfair.

Pere and Angel were asked to leave the Big Brother house during the Sunday live eviction show and were moved to a white room. There, they were then told that they would compete in a game for a chance to make it to the finale.

But after seeing the stats of the previous week’s votes, Pere’s fans were displeased with the development — the ex-US army officer had 25% percent of the votes which was enough to naturally earn him a spot at the finale, while Angel had 14%.

A circular had been shared on social media where Pere’s fans threatened a protest aimed at ending the show over the unfair treatment to their favorite housemate.

The circular reads,

A beautiful young Nigerian lady identified as Alice Liman has died few weeks to her wedding in Yola, Adamawa state.

The bride-to-be is said to have died on Sunday, September 26th after a brief illness.

It was gathered that Alice was set to tie the knot with her fiancé, Kadama Birgamus on October 30th, 2021 before her sudden demise.

Friends and family have taken to social media to pay tributes to the deceased and mourn her passing.

One Samuel Mombol, who had earlier shared the wedding invite on Facebook with the caption, “Everything is set for this union it shall end in praise”, announced her passing on the platform .

“Though it’s sad on our own way to have lost our bride to be, yet we judged God faithful over everything. We pray for solace to her family and our brother Mr Kadams Birgamus. It is well”, he wrote.

Another friend of the deceased, Nacha Godwin wrote, “To think I posted ur pre wedding pix on my whatsaoo stuatus just 20jrs ago only to wake to this news kai kai duniya je na Rest in Peace Nurse. Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Pere has expressed displeasure at the turn of events following his fake eviction.

Angel and the actor were fake evicted from the Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye’ house on Sunday night, and waiting to start the ‘trucks and screwdrivers game’ that would determine their fate on the reality show.

However, Pere in a conversation with his colleague, Angel in the White room stated that he would have preferred a direct eviction rather than this unexpected twist.

“Having to play this game to win to go back again, I prefer they made anyone else the addition because I rather choose to leave.

“I prefer to leave rather than play this game. However, as the situation is, I have been given another chance so I will just take it but no one understands how I feel,” he said.

Two Big Brother Naija housemates; Pere and Angel were fake evicted during the live eviction show on Sunday. However, a game of chance has been introduced to determine who wins a spot in the finale.

The twist sparked outrage from viewers on social media with many describing the twist as unfair since Pere had more votes than Angel.
