Nigerian gay rights activist and HIV/LGBT advocate, Bisi Alimi has revealed he had his first drag of cigarette when he was 6 years old.
Bisi Alimi made this revelation in a video he shared on Instagram, listing fun facts about him people don’t know.
Some of the facts he shared includes, not wearing trouser in senior secondary school because people said he had fine legs, cooking when depressed, meeting his husband on Grindr and his shoe collection.

Viewers of the ongoing BBNaija Season 6 show have expressed outrage after evicted housemates, Saskay and Yousef, disclosed that they prefer Queen’s cooking over Whitemoney’s cooking.
It can be recalled that at the beginning of the show, Whitemoney took on the responsibility of cooking for the housemates, until Queen joined the game and started assisting him in the kitchen.
Well, Saskay and Yousef, who are currently on their media rounds, played a TikTok game where they disclosed which housemates’ unique skill they prefer.

Recall that Big Brother gave Nini a secret task during her dairy session yesterday, to leave the house for 24 hours using the emergency exit.
Nini did as she was instructed and successfully left the house last night without the knowledge of her colleagues.
Moments after her exit, Nini’s love interest, Saga noticed her absence and immediately started to look for her with the help of other housemates.
Saga and the other housemates pleaded with Biggie to open the door, but when their plea fell on deaf ears Saga went in to get his duvet, picked a comfortable position in front of the diary room to spend the night. Angel and Pere later joined him till they all slept off.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Yousef following his eviction on Sunday night has been doing media rounds about his time in the Big Brother house.
Yousef took a lot of viewers by surprise as he was an housemate who wasn’t perceived as one that would last that long in the Big Brother house… he escaped eviction for a couple of weeks and in the weeks that he was up, it was clear that he had fans outside the house as they went all out in voting to keep him in the house.

A recent case in point is Nigerian songstress, Simi hitting back hard at a troll who said that the streets prefer her upcoming colleague, Ayra Starr to her… saying the mother of one “fell off“.

Well, the singer could have let the troll’s comment slide but that wasn’t the case as she made sure to carpet them in her response and in another tweet acknowledged that her colleague the troll talked about, is actually a force to be reckoned with.

After housemates discovered that their fellow housemate, Nini had disappeared from the house with no warning whatsoever, they all began a search for her within the Big Brother house with each of them having varying opinions of her whereabouts.

BBNaija housemate and prospective finalist, Pere says if given the opportunity to bring back an evicted housemate, he will bring back Saskay and not his love interest, Saskay.
He made the statement during his Diary Session on Tuesday, after Biggie asked him which evicted housemate he would bring back if he had the chance.
Pere added that he would bring Saskay back into the show because she’s smart and mature for her age.
Speaking of Saskay, he said, “To be honest, I just like the fact that when you’re exchanging ideas with her, she’s open to receiving yours and working with you on yours to see how she can expound whatever idea you have to make it better.
“She’s just full of maturity. She’s 21 but if you speak to her, you would’nt know she’s 21. She has the mentality of a 30-year-old which is very impressive.”

Evicted Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eyes’ housemate, Saskay has changed her stance on the Relationship between lovebirds, Emmanuel and LiquoRose.
According to Saskay, the love between Emmanuel and Liquorose is real, and not being fake by any party.
The 21-year-old revealed this during her media tour session with Lagos Talks FM, 91.3 after she was asked about her stance on the ‘Emmarose’ ship, owing to the fact that she previously stated that Emmanuel’s love for Liquorose is not genuine.
Saskay who seems to have had a change of mind noted that their love is real and genuine. She added that even when Emmanuel flirts with other ladies in the house, Liquorose isn’t bothered because she knows it’s nothing serious.

A Nigerian man who is suspected to be an internet fraudster, ‘Yahoo boy’ has been apprehended by the police in Bayelsa State after an attempt to use his girlfriend for money rituals was foiled.
According to reports surrounding the story, the suspect was nabbed when he was trying to behead the victim along SETRACO Road, Amassoma/Ogobiri axis of the state on Tuesday morning, September 21.
The lady reported to be a student of the Niger Delta University Wilberforce Island (NDU) was fortunately rescued by youths of Ogobiri community and some police operatives.
A post by Kokobaiye Abeki, Special Adviser to Governor Diri on New Media, tells that the suspect who has been dating the girl, lured her to Setraco Road along Ogobiri-Toruebeni drive.
The post reads,
“After he succeeded in roping her hands and legs, he was at the verge of cutting her neck when the savour of her nightmare (Ogobiri Youths) who traced his earlier movement through a revelation from a nearby person caught him together with the efforts of the men of the Operation Doo-Akpo NPF special squad.” Abeki wrote.
The suspect has since been handed over to the Nigeria Police for more investigation.

Ghanaian actress, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah has appealed to everyone to treat her children with kindness when she’s no more.
The former HIV/AIDS ambassador, who has been open about her HIV status, took to her Facebook to share an emotional post, detailing her emotional and mental struggles with the virus.
In what seems to be her 14th anniversary of living with HIV/AIDS, Joyce urged people not to mistreat her children when she dies because of her HIV status and past mistakes.

“In September 2007 when I was diagnosed, tears never departed from me…. i consoled my mother to stop crying and told her i wasn’t bothered about my status…..but when everyone is sleeping deep at night, I’d sneak out to cry out loud….
“And when I started educating people on HIV, I encouraged others but always cried in silence after my talk….I maintained s smiling face so that most people with HIV will derive some strength from me. I have been admitted to the psychiatric hospital in Hamburg on 4 occasions. 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 all in a psychiatric hospital for major depression. Due to my constant admission, my son Prince was taken away from me.
“But now I’m weak…Please be kind to my children when I’m no more. Do not treat them badly for my mistakes. God bless you all.”
Ghanaian media personality, Kwame Oboadie has disclosed how his love for traditional food, fufu stopped him from pursuing a career in football.
The media personality gave the disclosure in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso aka Delay on the Delay show. According to him, he had to chose between the local delicacy and his promising football career.
He said,
I wasn’t able to become the footballer I had always wished to be because I loved fufu so much. Anytime I got back from playing soccer, my parents will reserve cooked cassava with soup for me to eat because according to them, I failed to help them pound it.
It went on and on until they devised a new strategy to trigger me to stay at home and not play football anymore.
This time around, they crushed the fufu into lumps and poured the soup on it so it get spoilt anytime I return from the field. I changed my mind and stopped playing football so I can get to eat some good fufu. I chose fufu over my football career.
