A Nigerian lady has warned against the use of contact of lenses after she lost one of her eyes due to it’s usage.
The beautiful young lady in a video that was shared on social media revealed that she was a lover of contact lens until the unfortunate experience that left her with one eye.
According to her, the contacts made her lose the ability to see with her right eye and can only see with the left eye presently.
She revealed she has spent a lot of money in a bid to correct her damaged eye, but to no avail.
The lady who claimed she doesn’t want fellow ladies to fall victim pleaded with them to do away with contact lenses.
In her words,
“I’m saying this to my fellow girls putting on contact lens like me… I’m a contact lens lover but see my eye now, see as my eye be. I cannot see with my right eye anymore, it’s only my left eye I’m using to see. I’ve spent money… I cant see with right eye all because of contact lens”.

Saga has developed deep feelings for fellow housemate, Nini and never misses an opportunity to express his undying love for her, despite Nini’s claim of having a serious relationship outside the house.
On Monday Nini was up for possible eviction before the Head of House game, however, she won veto power for the week and saved herself.
Saga then praised her and noted that he’s proud of her but she immediately replied that her boyfriend outside the house will be more proud of her.
“My boyfriend will be proud of me”, Nini told Saga.
Saga who doesn’t seem pleased with Nini’s response had a look of defeat on his face.

Popular Nigerian singer, Terry Apala and his friends were robbed on Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos on Monday night, September 14th.
The singer who shared a video of his damaged car on his official Instagram page, revealed they were attacked by cutlass-wielding robbers while they were stuck in traffic last night.
He disclosed that the robbers carted away their phones and other valuable items.
Sharing the video, he wrote, “Omo! Yesternight Night was a bitter experience on the mainland, Got robbed with my guys in traffic. Thank God for life thou 💔🥺”.
Another post on his Instagram-stories however suggest that his friends were severely injured as he prayed that they survive the injury.

In other news, in 2018 Terry Apala rejected the claim that he uses drugs and substances to maintain his vocal ability.
According to him, it might be difficult to believe due to the way he sounds, but he doesn’t drink, smoke or take substances, even to perform at shows.

“I do not drink or smoke whether to perform on stage or while I’m in a public gathering. People can testify to the fact that when I’m out or invited for shows, I prefer to take soft drinks. Nigerian shoemaker enraged after she discovered what her disloyal apprentice has been doing in her absence
An Ebonyi-based shoemaker, Sharon Akpa, is furious after she found out that one of her apprentices has been poaching her customers in her absence.
According to the lady, she found out that this apprentice usually collects the numbers of her customers in her absence and convince them that she’ll make the footwear for them instead of them buying from Sharon’s shop.
She wrote,
“Just finished discussing with my mom and learnt one of my apprentice usually collect the numbers of people who came to the shop in my absence to buy footwear, she collects their numbers and somehow convinces them that she will make same footwear for them instead of buying from my shop,”
“I have been screaming, like I’m beyond livid, I was in Lagos for nine days, and I send money for feeding to my mom and son from my account, I was actually wondering why the market was so slow considering that I know the little money that comes daily from the shop should be enough to cook.
“My mom didn’t understand what was going on, right in her presence, this people were doing this, no wahala. Time shall tell.”
Girl allegedly battered by her stepsister in Benue state (Graphic photos)
In a quite devastating report, a young girl in Benue state has been admitted in a hospital after she was allegedly battered by her stepsister.
A Human rights activist, Ukan Kurugh shared the story online where he revealed that the young girl identified as Ngohol was rescued on Saturday, September 11 from the hands of her stepsister who allegedly physically abused her.
According to Ngohol, her offense was that she closed the door on the finger of her stepsister.
Sharing the incident alongside photos, Ukan wrote,
“At about 2:37 pm, on Saturday, 11th September, 2021, I received a distress call. It was a case of physical abuse of a minor, Ngohol Sonter (exact age not known) by her step sister, Wasen Sonter (names have been changed).
Ngohol was that afternoon severely beaten by her step sister for allegedly not shutting her mouth, thereby revealing happenings at home to neighbours and whoever cares to listen to her.
She was not fortunate that day because concerned neighbours tried to talk her step sister into avoiding the temptation of abusing the little girl. The abuse, which left the minor with bruises all over her body is coming shortly after Ngohol was beaten for allegedly closing the door against the finger of one of her step sister’s children.
Angered by words from neighbours, Wasen took Ngohol into her room, closed the door and gave her the beating of her life.
Ngohol said she receives beating severally in the hands of her step sister daily, though not as bad as that of Saturday.
She is on admission in a private hospital Makurdi. Doctors at the facility are suspecting a case of dislocation in one of the hands.
It is a clear case of abuse as it is beyond child’s discipline. My boss Dr. Mrs Helen Teghtegh had put a call to NAPTIP who came and picked the lady in question to their office while the girl is to continue with her recovery and we are possibly gonna be handing her over to the agency tomorrow officially when she is discharged.”

Naira-spraying suspected Yahoo Boys arrested in Benin
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Sunday, September 12, 2021 arrested 31 suspected internet fraudsters.
Among those arrested are suspected fraudsters who, a few weeks ago, were seen in a viral video standing on top of their cars and throwing bundles of Naira notes into the air at a popular Plaza in Benin City.
According to reports, they had embarked on a similar mission at the same venue on Sunday before they were intercepted by operatives of the Commission at the exit gate.
Those arrested are Essien Sunday, Joseph Nwosu, Samuel Victor, Abdurahman Abudulahi, Uwaifo Destiny, Osaro Osarere, Favour Oleye, Smart Okunvobo, Oduwa Osahon, Osaretin Blessed, Frank Osas, Aisosa Kelly, Richard Ehigie, Destiny Omoru, Jacob Kelvin, Aker Kelly, Promise Godspower, Lucky Dickson and Osamode Efosa.
Others are Osamuyi Aigbe-Egharevba, Ohumumwen Osaremen, Christopher Momodu, Aigbe Destiny, Eti-osa Osamwonyi, Patrick Benson Osaguna, Victor Kenyei, Marvellous Atiti, Gift Ebuehi, Osayi Casmir, Osahenkhoe Godstime and Paul Okoh.
Items recovered from the suspects at the point of arrest include 13 exotic cars, including: Lexus ES 350, Lexus 350, Lexus RX 350, Lexus ES 350, Lexus RX 350, Lexus RX 350, Lexus IS 350, Toyota Venza, Mercedes C300, Mercedes ML350, Range Rover Evoque, GLK 350 4Matic and Toyota Camry.
Other items are laptop computers, phones, documents and identity cards.

Popular Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti has advised pastors and Islamic clerics to stop praying for Nigeria but rather fight for the country.
Seun who is the youngest son of late iconic singer, Fela Kuti who in his days used his songs to criticize the excessive of the government, stated that enough of the “pray for Nigeria” phrase.
According to him, what the country needs is not prayers but people who are willing to stand up and fight for what is right.

With only 11 housemates left in the Big Brother house and only about a month left for the sixth season of the reality TV show, 5 out of this 11 are up for possible eviction this week.
This week’s nomination process was similar to that of last week’s as housemates were obligated to nominate who they want up for eviction before vying for the Head of House post.
The results of the nomination left Angel, Yousef, Emmanuel, Saskay and Nini all up for possible eviction… however, Nini was able to escape after she came second in the Head of House game and used her Veto power to replace herself with Cross.
After using her Veto power, Whitemoney chose Queen as the Deputy Head of House for the week.

Businesswoman outs cab driver who was allegedly masturbating when she slept off while driving her to her destination
A Nigerian businesswoman has taken to her Facebook page to share a quite unpleasant ordeal she experienced with a driver she booked to take her home.
Awele Ejiofor, who is a mother of two children, in her post, narrated how she’d ordered a ride on an e-hailing app from Lekki to Ajah and gave the name of her driver as one Mr. Samson. She shared that in course of their journey, she started feeling sleepy and after trying so hard to fight the sleep, she eventually gave in and dozed off.
According to her, when she woke up, she saw the driver with his penis in his hand, masturbating, while driving with the other hand.
She narrated that to be safe, she waited till they got to a busy bus stop and she asked him to pull over before confronting him.
She says the driver tried to deny it but she had already taken a picture. The businesswoman said the incident left her shaken and she intends to send a mail to his company to report his conduct.

A young boy in a viral Comedy Skit has lamented bitterly after he won a bet for the first time but wont be able to cash the money because of his age.
The young boy who seem heartbroken by the policy revealed he’s been playing sport bet since 2019 and has been unlucky, until recently when luck shined on him and finally he had his first win.
According to him, he won N50,000 but the betting company has refused to pay him because he’s not up to 18 years.
The aggrieved boy lamented that all the time he had been losing money, there was no age policy restricting him from playing, but now that he finally won, the bet company is using his age to deprive him of his win.
“I’ve been playing Bet since 2019 and I’ve never win, I now won today, I won N50,000 today they are now telling me I’m not up to 18. When I was loosing they didn’t know”, he said.

#BBNaija: Whitemoney’s epic reaction when Angel was singing Tiwa Savage’s “Koroba”
BBNaija season 6 housemate, Angel was singing a ‘remixed’ version of “Koroba”, a song by Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage, and her fellow housemate, Whitemoney, wasn’t too pleased.
When the song was released in 2020, Tiwa Savage came under heavy backlash as some netizens claimed she was promoting prostitution with the song.
However, the singer came out to dismiss the claims, saying she was not glorifying prostitution but pointing out the double standards involved in judging politicians and ladies dating them.
According to her, such ladies are tagged “prostitutes” whereas the politicians are not crucified, hence the line “money we you no work for.”
Moving back to the BBNaija house, Angel and Queen were singing the song passionately while cleaning the lounge. However, Angel added that she would eat the politician’s money like palliative.

The artist in a conversation with fellow housemates on Sunday night stated that he has never chased a woman nor walked up to a lady to ask for her number.
“I don’t use to chase women… I cannot chase woman ooo, I have never done that in my life not even to ask a woman for her number”, he said.

See transformation of an 11-year-old girl found almost lifeless on the road in Calabar after being accused of witchcraft and thrown out by her grandma
A Cross River based NGO, Basic Rights Counsel Initiative (BRCI), has shared the transformation story of an 11-year-old girl named Esther, who was rescued 6 months ago.
The NGO, in a statement shared on their official Facebook page, revealed that the minor was accused of witchcraft by her grandmother and thrown out of her home.
Fortunately, she was found almost lifeless by a volunteer who took her to a hospital where she spent six straight months. She also suffered a traumatic brain injury which has affected her ability to speak clearly.
Meanwhile, she has been enrolled in a school for children with special needs pending when a suitable foster care family is found for her.
Sharing old photos of Esther when she was in the hospital and a new photo, BRCI wrote,
“Little Esther is an 11-year-old child that was accused of witchcraft by her sick grandmother and forced out of her home. She was found almost lifeless by a volunteer by a major road in Calabar. She spent six straight months in the hospital and most times on oxygen,”
“Thanks to Comrade Asu Okang for his generous contribution to her treatment. When she recovered, the doctors informed us that she suffered a traumatic brain injury which has affected her ability to speak clearly. All efforts to get blood relatives to foster her failed. While we have also not given up in our efforts to recruit a foster care family for her, we had recently developed a comprehensive care plan for her.”

A man has taken to Twitter to share the heartbreaking biography of his late aunt who suffered multiple tragedies after her ‘kind’ act to a relative backfired.
According to Twitter user @Mr_Blavo, his aunt named Barbara brought a distant cousin from Ghana to the US to assist her after the birth of her second child.
The cousin named Ama was to stay for 6 months as indicated by her visa, however few days to her visa expiration date, she allegedly ran away from the house and went to the immigration office to “lie” that she was forcefully brought to the US to work as Barbara’s slave.
Ama laid hefty allegations on Barbara and she was brought before a court where she was sentenced to 5 years in jail and was deported to Ghana after serving her jail term.
While in jail, she developed several ailments and had to undergo 2 open head surgeries because she also had a brain tumor. She eventually died on August 19th, 2021 in Ghana and was buried on Friday, September 10.
As for Ama, she was granted a residency permit in the US and her husband and kids were also brought to the US following claims that they might face persecution if they remain in Ghana.
According to @Blavo, Ama also had a tragic ending as she and her husband are both blind and she suffered a stroke that has left her paralyzed in the States.
