Popular celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji has changed her son’s surname from her babby daddy’s name, Jeremi to her father’s name, Ikeji.

Linda who in 2018 confirmed that Delta state oil magnate, Sholaye Jeremi, is the father of her son, Jayce recently yanked off his name from their son’s name.

At the time Linda named her son after Jeremi and revealed he would be called Jayce Jeremi.

Sharing a photo of herself leaving the hospital days after she delivered her child she wrote, “Going home with my prince. Beginning of the best years of my life, his name is Jayce by the way, Jayce Jeremi.”

In a recent development Linda Ikeji has now changed Jayce surname from Jeremi to Ikeji.

Jayce turned 3 today and she took to social media to celebrate him, however from the birthday message one can see the change in name.

“And just like that.. my greatest source of joy is 3!💃🎉🎁. I’m so full and feel truly blessed! Happy birthday my loving, kind and happy baby 🤩🤩 @officialjayceikeji”. She wrote.

A tour on Jayce’s official Instagram page also confirms the name change as the name on his bio reads, “Jayce Ikechukwu Ikeji”.

On Friday afternoon, September 16th Big Brother showed the house a video which captured the moment Saga made disparaging comments about Pere.

Saga told Nini that Pere is forcing a friendship with him, untrustworthy, an instigator and fond of triggering housemates.

He also noted that since Maria left, Pere has been lonely and might commit suicide.

Actress Ejine Okoroafor has taken to her social media page to narrate how she was almost arrested in Paris for using ”fake Euro notes” she allegedly got from a Nigerian bank.

According to the Ejine, she got to know the notes were fake after trying to purchase some items in a mall on Thursday September 16. She added that when she took the money to a bank, the cash machine seized the €2000 that was rightfully placed and rejected the last squeezed €500, with a receipt that the money is fake.

Thursday, the 16th of September, I was ashamed being a Nigerian. At a mall here in Paris,I went to purchase some items and I was told the Euro notes I had were fake. I bought the money from a well known bank in Nigeria (PTA).

I took it to bank, A cash machine seized the €2000 that was rightfully placed and rejected the last squeezed €500. With a receipt that the money is fake.(because I was advised to pay the money into an account and withdraw in smaller denominations that they hardly spend 500euro)I asked my friend, who lives here to help me with the transaction. So We took d surviving €500 to MoneyGram to confirm its authenticity and we almost got into trouble,dey wanted to call the Police on us.

We eventually had to visit the Police station for her to report,to avoid her account from getting blocked or being negatively affected by this situation.meanwhile I called the bank manager when the atm seized the money, to let him know what had happened ,he said ‘I should have called him when they told me at the mall,I won’t have gone to the bank’. I should return the money.Apparently, he said they had been told to stop issuing that cash and I was never alerted.

The alert would have helped me to be cautious.
Dear Nigerians, avoid the big denominations for now, if you need to collect via PTA system to travel.
It is a real big shame.

A young boy identified as Emma Ereegarnoma has been arrested for allegedly trying to pluck out his mother’s eyes.

The suspected yahoo boy (Internet fraudster) carried out the money ritual act on Tuesday September 14 at his residence in Okuokoko town in Okpe Local government area of Delta state.

On Getting there she saw the son in joyous mood with loud music, then after the son Lock the door and was trying to strangle her to death by trying to pluck off her Eyes, she started screaming for help but due to the loudness of the music there was no Respond, but strength came upon her and she ran outside for help and neighbours came for her Rescue and d son was caught and has been taken to Orerokpe police station .

A Nigerian man, Samline Olatoye, has taken to Facebook to share his opinion about women’s identity before and after marriage.

According to him, a woman does not have a religion, surname or permanent home until she gets married and inherits her husband’s.

His comment is reportedly in reaction to Blessing Mary Ocheido, a physically challenged pharmacist, who complained about people trying to erase her identity and replace it with her husbands’.

Blessing tied the knot recently and took to Facebook to bemoan losing her surname and state of origin all because she got married. She also averred that there would be no head in their marriage and their kids will bear both her surname and that of her husband’s.

Reacting to this, Samline took a swipe at woke feminists saying, “A woman has no religion, surname, permanent home until she gets married. But I don’t know about our woke feminists.”

Former Minister of Aviation, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, on Thursday has seemingly renounced some of the things he said about President Buhari as he averred that he was wrong about some of his criticisms of the administration in the past.

Fani-Kayode, who recently switched camps from the PDP to the ruling Party, said ;

“It is absolutely clear to me that the perception that we had in the past, that many people had, is clearly wrong. We can work together, we can come together, we can build bridges, we can effect unity in this country. A man that I believe would not listen to anybody else in the past, I was quite wrong on that. With his receptive ears, his reception, and those around him; I have seen that definitely this is a man that one can work with provided you go through the right channels.”

The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, has revealed that dehydration caused him to be dizzy while he was giving a speech at the presidential villa in Abuja yesterday, September 16.

Bawacaused many to panic when he became dizzy while delivering a speech at an event in the presidential villa.

Speaking on Channels TV on Thursday evening, Bawa said his doctors attributed his dizziness to dehydration.

“While giving my goodwill message during the programme organised by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), there was a sort of dizziness on me and I had to excuse myself from the stage.

And of course I went straight to the hospital where the doctors confirmed to me that everything about me is okay except for the fact that I’m a bit dehydrated and need to take a lot of water.

The verdict for the secret task Biggie assigned to BBNaija season 6 housemates, Liquorose and Saga, has finally been passed.

It can be recalled that during their diary sessions on Tuesday, September 14, Biggie gave Liquorose and Saga a secret task to start a fight and ignore their love interests, Emmanuel and Nini respectively, till the next diary session, for a reward of 200 BB Tokens and 200 Abeg Naira.

However, Saga chickened out barely 24 hours into the task and told Nini about it. His excuse was that he couldn’t afford to hurt her. Liquorose, on the other hand, executed the task perfectly and left Emmanuel wondering what he did wrong.

Well, after the diary sessions today, September 16, Biggie rewarded Liquorose with 200 BB Tokens and 200 Abeg Naira for passing the test, while Emmanuel was rewarded with 250 BB Tokens and 250 Abeg Naira for the emotional turmoil he went through. In addition, they will both be treated to a romantic dinner date in the executive lounge.

On the flip side, the “Bonnie and Clyde” of this season – Saga and Nini didn’t get any reward because they failed the task woefully.

During a late night conversation with his love interest Nini, Saga in hush tones stated that Pere is forcing a friendship with him.

He added that since Maria left Pere has been lonely and might commit suicide, he also described Pere as an instigator.

However, during the Sunday live eviction show the host, Ebuka asked Saga about his relationship with Pere and contrary to what he said some nights before, he described Pere as his good friend.

when Pere asked him about Ebuka’s question after the show, Saga gave Pere a convincing explanation, and have remained cool ever since.

Shockingly on Thursday evening Big Brother called all the housemates to the lounge and replayed the video which captured the moment Saga badmouthed Pere.

On watching the video the housemates were more than shocked to hear such words from Saga who they thought had a good relationship with Pere.

Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye’ housemate, Saga has disclosed why he couldn’t carry on with Biggie’s task of picking a fight with his love interest, Nini.

On Tuesday afternoon the artist was asked to start a fight and ignore Nini till his next diary session. Unfortunately he couldn’t carry out the task and divulged the secret information to his love interest, Nini.

However, during his diary session with Big Brother on Thursday he noted that the fight that ensued between his love interest, Nini and fellow housemate, Cross made it difficult for him to carry out the task.

According to him, he would have carried on with the prank which he thinks he was able to do to some extent, if Nini was not involved in a fight which he thinks already drained her emotionally.

“Nini is very smart so I didn’t start immediately. I took my time. When I started the task in the evening and it got to her until she said I should not talk to her again.

At this point, I knew that I had done the task but I didn’t know for how long the task should go.

She got into a fight with Cross and I had to leave my character and intervene. If the fight didn’t happen I would have continued the task.

I passed the task up to a point but I think I failed the task. I suspect liquorose is also on the same task and she’s doing a good job, I am quite attached to Nini so it was a bit harder.”

Saga who admitted to his failure also praised Liquorose, while saying he suspects that she’s on a similar task”. He said.

Nigerian Cyclist dies days after being stabbed by armed robbers in Lagos

Friends have taken to social media to mourn the death of a Nigerian cyclist who was stabbed by armed robbers who attacked him in Lagos.

Afolabi Mabogunje was reportedly stabbed last Thursday, September 9, at Shodex in Anthony, Lagos state, while he was waiting at the usual meetup spot for his fellow cyclists.

According to a friend named Dr Yinka Awoyemi, Mabogunje, aka Mabogs, managed to apply pressure on the spot where he was stabbed and cycled himself down to Gbagada General Hospital, where he was attended to by his wife, a doctor, alongside others.

He was thereafter transferred to another hospital where he was operated on, but sadly his jugular vein had already been breached and he gave up the ghost in the early hours of today, September 16.

The cyclist community have taken to their official Facebook page to pay tribute to the departed soul.
