Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Moyo Lawal has lambasted married women who judge young unmarried ladies that engage in pre-marital sex.

According to her, if any of the judgmental married women did not marry their husband as virgins, they they are also sinners and have no moral right to judge other women.

Moyo stated this while reacting to a video of comedian, Ali Baba, where he said ladies who lived promiscuous life before getting married are always the first to insult ladies online.

She said,

“See eeh … so far you didn’t marry your husband as a virgin … …. Sugarcoat it anyhow you want sex before marriage is a sin!! ✌️if you lik let him be the one who disvirgined you … 🙈still a sin!!

You are a sinner !!🙄😂😂and you have no right to be calling anyone names !!

I don’t know why , people who live in glass houses are always the first set of people to throw stones …

Stop judging people who sin different from you … stop calling people names because you own is hidden …

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky has slammed a troll who said he’s no longer relevant following the start of a new season of the BNaija reality show.

The biggest reality show on the continent, Big Brother Naija came back to our screens on Saturday, July 24th with the beginning of the 6th season, theme ‘shine ya eye”.

However, the internet celebrity took to Instagram to flaunt his beauty and his beautiful tattoos when a troll seized the opportunity to drag him to the pieces.

Reacting to the post Bob shared on social media the troll stated that the crossdresser shouldn’t try too hard to trend because Nigerians are all focused on the Big Brother Naija show.

Bob who apparently wasn’t having any of it in response slammed the troll for his unflattering comment.

Big Brother Naija housemate, Maria has raised speculation that she was interested in her fellow housemate, Niyi, until he disclosed that he is married.

Since their entry into the house, the housemates have been getting acquainted with each other and they initiated an interactive session for each person to briefly introduce him/herself.

Although the guys had already introduced themselves to each other on Saturday night, they had to re-introduce themselves for the sake of the ladies.

During Niyi’s introduction, he disclosed that he is 34 years old and married. However, the seemingly simple revelation triggered a reaction from Maria.

The camera which was on Maria captured the moment she immediately switched from smiling when Niyi was speaking to frowning when he said he is married.

This has stirred reactions on social media as netizens opine that Maria had eyes for Niyi but her hope was dashed by his revelation.

According to him, although he was heartbroken the breakup still didn’t make him hit the gym to grow some muscles because he is not that kind of guy.

A Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage has captured the moment a yet-to-be-identified lady deliberately set a popular supermarket ablaze in Abuja.

In the footage the lady pretended to pick something from one of the shelves which had gas cylinders on it, she stylishly turned on the gas and quickly left before it caught fire.

Moments later the supermarket located at Lokogoma district in Abuja went up in flames leading to the loss of goods worth millions of naira.

According to reports, firefighters battled the fire until the next day. The unfortunate incident happened on Saturday, July 17th.

A Nigerian lecturer, Dipo Awojide has averred that academic excellence should be celebrated with huge rewards just like BBNaija winners.

Taking to micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Awojide queried the tradition of federal and state institutions rewarding their best graduating students with handshakes and as little as N5,000, when winners of a reality show goes home with a grand prize of N90M.

In a lengthy Twitter rant he called on the government to prioritize the education sector and invest in the youths.

In his words,

“If a #BBNajia winner can get N9OM in cash price there is no reason why best graduating students across our prestigious federal and state universities should be getting N5K, N1OK or a useless handshake. We must do better. Academic excellence should be celebrated!

“I am trying to save all of us the embarrassment of begging other countries. I am advocating for ways for us to become a true African giant. I am not criticizing entertainment. Enjoy but don’t lose focus☺️🤷🏽‍♂️.

The 29-year-old Dubai-based Air hostess turned realtor made this disclosure during her interview with the organizers of the reality TV show.

According to her, she is a very friendly and likeable person so it wouldn’t be difficult for people to fall in love with her.

Maria also revealed that she would never be caught fighting over a man and would purposely stay away from fights in the house.

“I plan to spice the house by making all the boys fall in love with me. You will never catch me fighting about a man.
I am looking forward to forming a lot of cliques in the house because I am a very bubbly, friendly person,” she said.

Baba Ijesha arrives court as trial for alleged sexual assault of comedienne, Princess’s foster daughter resumes today (Photos)

The trial of Nigerian actor, Omiyinka Olanrewaju better known as Baba Ijesha, for the alleged sexual assault of foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne, Princess resumed today, Monday July 26, 2021.

The 48-year-old embattled thespian is being tried on a six-count charge which includes sexual assault by penetration, indecent treatment of a child, and sexual assault.

Others charges are the indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault by penetration.

Ijesha was first arraigned in court in June and at the time, the court denied him bail.

On Monday morning, Ijesha arrived at the court at about 9:30 am in the company of his friends. Also in attendance at the court were comedian, Princess and Iyabo Ojo.

A South African businesswoman, Prisca Soko took to her Facebook page on Sunday, July 25, to celebrate her child, Gavriel Soko, on his 8th birthday.

In her Facebook post, Prisca shared that she gave birth to Gavriel in 2013 after 21 years of waiting, four miscarriages and two stillbirths.

Prisca is married to Archbishop Ellias Zwelipane Soko, who is the presiding Archbishop of SouthAfrica for ZAOGA Forward In Faith Ministries.

She wrote in her Facebook post,

“After waiting for 21 years to have a baby…after 2 still births, 4 miscarriages, the 7th time God rewarded us with this special gift from above! How can we thank this Faithful God? BBNaija housemate, Angel has revealed that her first boyfriend died in 2019 and his death severely affected her mental heath.

Angel, who has 11 tattoos in different parts of her body, disclosed this while introducing herself to her fellow housemates on Sunday night.

According to the 21-year-old, she battled with depression and started self-harming after her boyfriend’s death. However, she didn’t disclose the cause of his death.

She added that she came to BBNaija to find herself because she has been living a purposeless life.

She said in part, “Here’s a bit of my story , School has never been my strongest suit and I’ve always wondered where my place in the world was especially with a lot of the people I went to school with graduating , in 2019 I lost my boyfriend and it took a toll on my mental health , I started self harming . My quest in finding my place in the world is part of the reasons I ended up here today”

Veteran Nigerian actress, Rita Edochie responded to a follower who for while, had stopped ‘loving’ her but is now back to loving her.

The actress shared a post of support for Nnamdi Kanu on her Instagram page and a follower who was impressed with the post, wrote in the comment section, “Now am back to love you again ma.”

Zahra Ado-Bayero, daughter of the Emir of Bichi is set to get married to President Buhari’s son, Yusuf on the 20th of August, 2021.

According to a report by Daily Trust, a total of 145 people have been named on a committee inaugurated to coordinate the wedding.

The committee which was set up by the Emir of Kano, Nasiru Ado Bayero, will also organize a schedule of the Emir’s coronation and presentation of staff of office by Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.

A statement signed by the spokesperson for the emirate, Lurwan Malikawa, says the coronation follows a day after the wedding at the Emir’s palace.

The statement also reveals that the committee will be headed by the District Head of Bagwai, who is also the Madakin Bichi Alhaji Nura Ahmad and Falakin Bichi Alhaji Abba Waziri will serve as the committee’s secretary.

During the inauguration ceremony of the committee, the Emir of Bichi, represented by the Madakin Bichi, urged members of the committee to use their wealth of experience to ensure the success of the coronation as well as that of the royal wedding.

Angel and the other housemates gathered at the lounge to share a bit about themselves after the ladies joined the house last night.

According to Angel, she started self-harming at the age of 14 as she battled depression which emanated from her high school’s high academic expectations.

In her words ;

”I started out Education wise.. I graduated from Best Highschool, Merywood. Further down to University. I started out at the University of Lagos UNILAG. I was there for like two weeks. I didn’t go for any lectures because it wasn’t my vibe. I went to a really secluded high school so getting into UNILAG was kind of hard for me so I dropped out from there. I didn’t tell my parents. My mum doesn’t live in Nigeria.
My mum came back, she found out so she put me in a foundation school to go to London. I went to a foundation programme for Mass Communication but I dipped again because I realized that I didn’t even know what I wanted to do and everything. So basically, I have been cruising through life because I had like a whole mental health thing.

“The reason why I wasn’t into school was because of how hard it was in Merywood because our A was like sixty nine and our F was sixty one, so that was really hard for me, and because I live with my granny because my mum doesn’t stay in Nigeria, whatever I was doing wasn’t really enough for her so there was some form of pressure.

“Then I started self-harming. When I was 14, I started self-harming. I guess I was depressed and everything. My mates have graduated now and I guess that is why I auditioned for Big Brother because it felt like everybody had figured out what they wanted to do except me so during the cause of me auditioning and me getting in and me making progress, I moved from a place where I felt I wasn’t sufficient to now feeling…”
