A Nigerian man identified as Dapo, has taken to his social media page to lament the unhealthy and inhumane condition of a Police cell in Iganmu, Lagos State.

He shared the photos and tweeted ;

It’s now officially a crime to take fresh air outside your apartment.

Honestly i and my friend Agutam ibeh were just outside, while PHCN took the the light, the next thing we saw was men on all black with guns, next is this Orile iganmu cell, met people here already filled up

This is where @PoliceNG is looking innocent Nigerians like me, here is stinking, smelling, I couldn’t even breath properly, right now my health is even in danger, as we defecate, urinate, sleep, eat in the same spot for doing nothing

This is what everybody here finds themselves in, just raiding to raid money from innocent Nigerian citizens, lock them up in cells not even conducive for animals, despite all the various pandemic outside, please Nigerians help us out.

This is 6:40am,as I tweet am still unlawfully lucked up in the cell, here stinks like hell, honestly I can’t wait to be out..

A Nigerian Facebook user has reacted to the inflated prices of food items in the market as he took to his page to share a photo of the food items he acquired for the whopping sum of N78k.

Sharing the photos, the Facebook user identified as Inemesit Etim wrote,

Things are really expensive in the market. I needed to buy this and before I knew 78,000 naira spent on this.

In related news, Nigerian actor, Mofe Duncan a while ago took to his page to react after he was accused by his fans and followers of lying that he bought a bunch of plantain for N6,000.

Duncan had in an earlier report, taken to his Instagram page to share a photo of a bunch of plantain which was not up to 4 pieces, claiming he bought it for 6k.

Times are hard in Nigeria, and it may seem as though the citizens are now going extreme lengths just to make money – or get their next meal.

A video making the rounds online captured the moment a man brandished a cardboard-ad, telling people that he had a fresh kidney for sale.

We can’t ascertain if the kidney he was advertising is his – but – we can all agree that this is one of many weird things we always see in Lagos traffic.

A Nigerian lady who felt insulted after a guy who uses an android phone had the audacity to ask for her, who uses an iPhone 8, for her number>

The lady, identified as Ola shared on Twitter how a man approached her and asked for her phone number but she was irked by his approach and was surprised that he wasn’t even scared that he was asking her who uses an iPhone 8 plus, while he uses an Android phone.

Ola tweeted, ”This guy came to collect my digits with his infinix hot 4 from my iPhone 8plus and wasn’t scared.”

Of course, her tweet elicited responses from a number of tweeps, most of which were not in Ola’s favour… See some responses,

A Nigerian man who is based abroad has taken to Twitter to berate Nigerian women who are in the habit of asking for money or transport fare before going to visit a man.

The gentleman, with handle @avogroovy on the social networking app revealed that he has been dating non-Nigerian girls for close to a decade and not once, all throughout the period has he encountered one who asked him for any money for transport.

@avogroovy who resides in Thailand, stated that Nigerian men deserve better. He also added that he would continue to be an advocate for men realizing that they need to be with better women.

His tweet reads,

”I have been dating Non-Nigerian girls for almost a decade and not a single one has ever asked for Uber, Grab, Cabify fare or bank alert before they show up. Not a single one.

Nigerian men deserves better dating experience and I will keep advocating for that. Be free Kings.”

She probably made a discovery that wasn’t much to her liking and exasperated over this, Nigerian Twitter user, @ayinkelovesfood took to her page to place a curse on deceivers.

Without mincing words, Ayinke attributed her curse to the category of people who deceive other people by acting like they’re single when they actually aren’t.

Ayinke wrote, ”All of you that deceive people that you’re single when you’re not, God will punish you”, in another tweet, she wrote, una don mislead me.

So for people, especially those online, who when a lovey-dovey post of a couple is shared online, are quick to react saying things like “God when“, when in reality, God has done it, just remember that Ayinke has placed a curse for people that are deceiving in this regard… lol

The receipt of payment for service that was rendered to a Nigerian man by a hotel has sent shockwaves to the spines of some netizens.

While a lot of people can’t wrap their head over why a plate of noodles will be over four thousand Naira which literally would buy at least a carton of noodles with 40 pieces inside, there’s the charge for the tray that was used in serving him the rather exquisite meal.

A photo of the receipt had this caption attached to it, I can understand the noodles for 42oo o.. and juice for 4000… but am I taking this tray to my house?? Why charge me 1k??

The response that followed the photo has been quite hilarious, with someone asking whether the person shed tears after receiving his bill, because droplets can be seen on the receipt.

Others were of the stance that the gentleman should not have expected anything less from the kind of hotel he lodged in.

The video of a lady aggressively physically assaulting her supposed boyfriend in the presence of onlookers in public was shared online recently.

In the video, the lady is seen throwing several punches at the guy who kept his calm while trying to explain to others —who didn’t physically intervene, but stood and watched as the lady threw punches— what the problem was.

While some people motioned as though they were going to try and stop the lady from assaulting the gentleman, their attempts seemed effortless as the lady continued to punch and slap the guy and even pushed him against a wall.

The video has been serving rounds on the internet with a number of people having a thing or two to say about the situation, with many of them stating the fact that not much was done by onlookers because the person carrying out the assault was a female.

It however is sketchy why the lady aggressively assaulted the guy. Watch the video,

A Nigerian lady who is a digital media practitioner and is frustrated with the stereotype that Nigerian women can’t pay bills, took to her Twitter account recently to share an experience of hers.

The lady with the handle, @Aqualady6666 on the social networking app, recounted how she gave her ex-boyfriend money despite travelling interstate just to see him.

In her tweet, she affirms that most women pay their bills and that of their partners’ but they don’t brag about it. She decried the consistent stereotype that’s always been attributed to Nigerian women .

In her words,

“I remember travelling from Lagos to Anambra to visit my then Boyfriend now (Ex),bought provisions for him on my way to his place and also paid N18k for my tfare to and fro with my money!
*** was too good too I had to give him Extra N45k so he could invest in his business lool.

I just laugh whenever I see ” Nigerian girls can’t pay their bills” bs.”

Most of us actually pay for our bills and that if our partners but we won’t brag about it. Y’all always looking for any little opportunity to slander Nigerian babes lool it’s okay sha
