Lady celebrates with wine and music after seeing her period (Video)
A video of a young Nigerian lady celebrating after seeing her period has stirred reactions on social media.
The lady in the video serving rounds online was ecstatic that she saw her period amid fears of being pregnant following her escapades the previous month.
Celebrating what she described as a major win, the overly excited lady treated herself to a bottle of wine and music.
The girl who spoke in Igbo also made a toast to other girls like her who have seen their periods for August.
A surprised netizen who shared the video on Twitter wrote, “Wait. Girls now celebrate seeing their period? Igbo girls, what’s happening?”.
Reacting to the video, another Twitter user wrote, “If you are having sex without protection and you are celebration seeing your period, then you should be really scared. It shows you are not fruitful”.

Millionaire son and singer, Adebayo Adeleke better known as Bred, has recounted how he once suffered despite coming from a wealthy background.
Bred who is the son of Nigerian politician, Senator Ademola Adeleke and nephew of Nigerian billionaire businessman, Adedeji Adeleke, father of superstar singer, Davido, affirmed that life has not always been rosy for him.
According to him, 14 years ago he had a taste of ‘suffering’ and people who know him well can attest to it and confirm that his life has just changed for the better.
Bred who made this surprising revelation in a video he shared on social media said,
“To be honest, If I take it way back to like 12, 13 or 14 years ago, many people would just think that because my Uncle is a billionaire and my dad is a millionaire so I had it good since time. No o! I remember those days. People that know me very well know that I suffered and my life has just changed.”

Big Brother Naija ‘shine ya eye’ housemate, Pere has vowed to stop Whitemoney from cooking for everyone as he concludes it’s a strategy.
Since the housemates made their entry into the Big Brother House, the 29-year-old businessman has been the one in charge of the kitchen; he cooks for all the housemates, monitors their kitchen supplies and usually makes the list for their Sunday house shopping.
Well, it seems the new Head of House, Pere has a problem with this and has vowed to relieve Whitemoney of the kitchen duty. Pere in a conversation with his Deputy, Maria this morning expressed his displeasure with having one housemate cook for all of them.
According to him, it’s not logical and only makes the housemate feel indispensable.
“I’m against the idea of one person cooking for everybody for the entire stay. It’s not logical because that creates a ‘you all would need me’ or ‘you all have to need me’ mentality, which is very detrimental. It is horrible and I don’t like that.”
“This is not a vacation, this is a game. And if that’s his strategy, that’s a good strategy but I wouldn’t take it…That’s why I must do everything I can to have him not be in the kitchen all the time. I can cook.” He told Maria.

Nigerian rapper, Blaqbonez is currently under fire on social media for his tweet trolling recently evicted BBNaija housemate, Yerins.
Following Yerins eviction from the house, the ‘bling’ crooner put up a post mocking the medical doctor. According to Blaqbonez, despite being on the biggest reality TV show on the continent, Yerins left the house with only 4K Twitter followers.

On sighting the tweet mocking their favourite, Yerin’s fans came for the rapper and dragged him to pieces.

After the Sunday live eviction the housemates decided to play a truth or dare game and Angel was dared to kiss any guy she chooses. Angel then picked one of the new housemates, Kayvee and kissed him for 30 seconds.
This however didn’t go down well with Sammie who later picked up a fight with Angel over her decision to kiss Kayvee. Recall that Sammie and Angel shared a close bond in their first week in the Big Brother house.

Last night, the ship’ between Angel and Sammie hit an iceberg as they fought over the truth or dare games, and the way Angel moved to Kayvee on Sunday evening.
Recall that Sammie and Angel were thought to have liked each other as they always hung-out and they gave viewers some steamy display of affection.
However, all that changed on Sunday evening, after the arrival of new housemate, Kayvee.
Angel’s free-spirit led her to passionately kiss Kayvee just few hours later, and it seemingly offended Sammie.
In a discussion with the housemates, Sammie disclosed that he was pained not just because Angel kissed a guy in the house but because she kissed the new guy and even touched his di*k.
“If Angel kissed Boma, Pere, or WhiteMoney, it wouldn’t hurt me, but she kissed the new guy and touched his duck and that made Mr leave because I wanted her to know that I was in pain”, he said.
However, last night, the pair had a fight over the issue and Sammie said he made a mistake to get into an entanglement with her in the first place… Angel then fired back as she told him to go for his ideal woman.

Young lady paraded for allegedly stealing a child in Rivers state (video)
A young lady was caught stealing a child in Abuloma community in Rivers state on Sunday, August 8, and was subsequently shamed and paraded round the community.
In the video that has gone viral on social media, the lady who donned a yellow sweatshirt was seen being paraded around the community as she carried the alleged stolen child.
The alleged real mother of the child was seen crying profusely while escorting the alleged kidnapper as she was being paraded by members of the community.
Facebook user, Cecilia Dikibo, who shared the video online wrote,
“This girl in yellow was caught at Abuloma community where she went to steal the child she’s holding in the video.
She was chained and paraded inside the community for awareness to other blood sucking ritualistic dorime youths who need fast money through their naive materialistic girlfriends to BEWARE…

Nigerian man uncovers illicit drugs concealed in food items given to him to deliver in Dubai (video)
A Nigerian man has taken to social media to share how he discovered illicit drugs concealed in food items he was allegedly given to deliver to someone abroad.
The man from Oba Anambra state revealed he was traveling to Dubia and received food packages from a friend to help deliver to some people on arrival.
According to him, on his brother’s insistence he decided to take his time to properly check the food items only to discover Tramadol tablets, Marijuana and other illicit drugs ‘creatively’ hidden in the food items.
The food items which included yam flour, a gallon of palm oil, dried pepper, bitterleaf, crayfish, coffee powder, seasonings, sweets all had illicit drugs concealed in them.
In a video he shared on social media narrating how he narrowly escaped being jailed, the man said, “I don’t know if their plan is for me to be sentenced to life imprisonment in Dubai but my hands are clean.”

A Nigerian lady, identified as Oge Nsimah, has taken to Facebook to advise women to stop wasting their precious time with men who don’t want to marry them.
According to her, many women are still single because they remained in a relationship that wasn’t leading to marriage, thereby allowing their “boyfriend keep them away from their husband.”
Speaking further, Oge stated that two years is the maximum period a lady should date a man and if he doesn’t marry her within the period, she should leave the relationship.

Ghanaian man allegedly stabs his wife to death after she threatened to divorce him
A Ghanaian man, Emmanuel Okyere Baffour, has been declared wanted for the alleged murder of his 26-year-old wife after she threatened to divorce him.
It was gathered that he allegedly stabbed his wife, Joyce Johnes Afi Jassika, to death on Thursday, August 6, at Degede, a suburb of Bibiani in the Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region.
According to the ibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Divisional Crime Officer, Superintendent Seth Serwonu, relatives of the deceased reported the incident to the police. Thereafter, Police operatives went to the scene and found Joyce in the pool of her own blood, with multiple stab wounds.
Her body has since been deposited at the Bibiani Government Mortuary for autopsy, while the Police has commenced investigation and a manhunt for her husband.
Supt Serwonu, who confirmed the incident, stated that preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased decided to divorce her husband and walk away from the marriage over a myriad of issues, but he pleaded saying that he had turned a new leaf.
However, she insisted on divorcing him, packed her luggage and left for her parents’ house.
Seemingly infuriated by her decision, he went to see the deceased when her parents were not around on Thursday, August 6, 2021, around 12pm, and attacked her with a knife.
He allegedly stabbed her five times, covered the body with clothes in the room, and ran away.
More woes for suspended Gov. Abiodun’s aide, Abidemi Rufai, as US submits 97,000-page evidence against him
The U.S government has submitted a 97,000-page fraud evidence against Lekki big boy and suspended aide to Ogun state Governor, Abidemi Rufai, who was indicted for alleged conspiracy, wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.
It can be recalled that Rufai was arrested on May 14 at the JFK airport in New York over alleged COVID-19 unemployment fraud in the United States.
According to the 97,000-page document submitted by the prosecutor at the U.S. District for the Western District of Washington at Tacoma, on July 26, Rufai stole the identities of over 100 Washington residents to file fradulent claims with the Employment Security Department (ESD) for pandemic-related unemployment benefits.
According to the report from Acting US Attorney, Tessa M. Gorman, Rufai filed fraudulent claims with Hawaii, Wyoming, Massachusetts, Montana, New York, and Pennsylvania, using variations of the same email address in a way that it wouldn’t be easily detected by fraud systems.
The agreed application filed on August 3, 2021, ruled the case as complex as a result of the volume and nature of the evidence filed against the suspect.
“On July 26, 2021, the government produced approximately 97,000 pages of material. In addition, the government is in the process of executing two additional electronic search warrants.
The discovery includes electronic documents in a variety of formats. The material contains personal identifying information or sensitive financial information,” the document stated in part.
Meanwhile, Rufai was arraigned before the court on June 25, 2021, where he pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court then adjourned the case and scheduled his trial for August 31, 2021.
Court remands Chidinma Ojukwu in prison for 30 days over alleged murder of Super TV CEO
A chief magistrate court sitting in Lagos has ordered the remand of 21-year-old Chidinma Ojukwu, over the alleged murder of Super TV CEO, Michael Usifo Ataga.
Magistrate Adeola Adedayo of the Lagos State Magistrate Court in Yaba ordered the remand of the 300 UNILAG student and one Adedapo Quadri for 30 days following an application of the police counsel.
At the hearing for the remand application on Monday, August 9 the police prosecutor, Cyril Ajifor, told the court that the application was made pursuant to section 264 subsections 1 and 2 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State.
Ruling on the application, the magistrate said,
“In the absence of any opposition, the two defendants are hereby remanded for 30 days in the first instance. The case is adjourned till September 5, for review of remand/DPP’s advice.”
Chidinma Ojukwu was arrested in June 2021 for allegedly stabbing billionaire, Michael Usifo Ataga to death in a service apartment in Lekki, Lagos State.

Two Nigerian men forfeit over N200 million, luxury cars and properties valued at N260m to FG over fraud and cybercrime
Two Nigerian fraudsters, Tobiloba Ibrahim Bakare and Alimi Seun Sikiru, have lost millions in cash and properties to the Federal Government following their arrest and prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The duo forfeited five bedroom duplex situated at Ibrahim Eleto Street, Osapa London, Lekki, Lagos; four bedroom semi-detached duplex situated at Ologolo, Jakande, Lekki, Lagos; and another four bedroom semi-detached duplex in Southern View Estate, Mayor Court, Chevron Alternative Road, Lekki, Lagos; valued at N230 million.
They also lost the sums of N196, 741, 216.82 and N7, 054, 852.01 in bank accounts; and two vehicles, a Mercedes Benz E500 and a Toyota Hilux 2020, valued at N30 million.
Bakare (27) and Sikiru had to give up their assists as they couldn’t give a satisfactory explanation of the funds and properties linked to them.
They eventually confessed to committing cybercrime and fraud, and were subsequently charged to court where judgement was passed for them to forfeit all their funds and houses.

According to him, it will be more difficult for him to approach any other female housemate because he has strong feelings for Nini.
