The remains of slain Super TV CEO, Michael Usifo Ataga has been laid to rest in Lagos today July 30, 2021.
Michael Usifo Ataga who was gruesomely murdered by 21-year-old UNILAG student Chidinma Ojukwu was buried at the Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos state around 12.30pm on Friday.
The funeral ceremony was lowkey and attended by only close relatives; his wife, Brenda Ataga and friends.

Nigerian lady, Esther Chukwuemeka, who was celebrated on social media for being the “youngest Nigerian lawyer” following reports that she was called to bar at age 20, has come out to clear the air.
In a video shared online, Esther denied claims that she graduated from secondary age at 13 and was called to Nigerian bar at 20.
According to her, the report was an error from the person who shared a congratulatory message to celebrate her.
To set the records straight, Esther disclosed that she graduated from secondary school at age 15, then she gained admission to Abia State University (ABSU) to study Political Science.
She said she spent one year in ABSU before travelling to India to study Law at age 17.
Esther pointed out that she spent 5 years studying law in India before returning to Nigeria for Law School, so she is not 20 but 24 years old.

DCP Abba Kyari, who has been indicted in the Hushpuppi fraud case by the U.S government, has revealed the kind of relationship he had with international fraudster, Ray Hushpuppi.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District of California, Abba Kyari, a high-ranking Nigerian police officer who has received multiple honours, was one of six people indicted over an elaborate scheme to defraud a Qatari businessperson of more than $1 million, masterminded by celebrity fraudster, Ramon ‘Hushpuppi’ Abbas.

The 21-year-old housemate made this revelation last night during a conversation with fellow housemate, Boma. Angel was chatting with Boma when he asked her who was handling her social media pages outside the house.

A formerly overweight Brazilian woman has undergone an amazing weight loss transformation by overhauling her diet and getting a gastric sleeve.
The 33-year-old identified as Monalisa Moura who weighed 21.9st before she embarked on a weight loss journey looked totally unrecognizable in new photos.
According to her, she was a never thin as a child but became morbidly obese in 2014 after her second pregnancy.
“I was never thin as a child. But I became morbidly obese in 2014 after my second pregnancy. I had postpartum depression, I tried to (take my own life).In short, six months after the birth of my second child, I reached 139kg (more than 29st).” She told UCL.
Monalisa dropped 11 stone by overhauling her diet and getting a gastric sleeve, after the surgery, Monalisa managed to lose a massive 71kg (around 11.2st) in two years by overhauling her diet.
She also took medication and fasted intermittently, which wasn’t sustainable and caused her to relapse, she went back to binge eating and added five stone back on.
Fortunately, she caught herself just in time, and was determined to get back in shape. Monalisa who now weighs 10.7st started modelling and keeps in shape by eating healthily and exercising regularly.
She credits her transformation, which she admits was difficult, to her strong willpower.
Davido’s logistics manager, Isreal DMW has openly declared his support for Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari who the FBI has linked to the case of serial internet fraudster, Hushpuppi.
It can be recalled that the United States Department of Justice, took to their official website on Wednesday, 28th of July, 2021, to reveal how embattled socialite, Hushpuppi some years back, bribed Nigerian Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari to jail a fellow fraudster, identified as Vincent.
According to their report, Hushpuppi arranged with DCP Kyari to arrest one Kelly Chibuzo Vincent, who he’d initially conspired with to commit a BEC fraud on an unsuspecting Qatari businessperson by claiming to be consultants and bankers. Read here.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the US has released alleged conversations between Nigeria’s Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari and serial internet fraudster, Hushpuppi.
The FBI in an affidavit issued before the United States District Court by a Special Agent with the FBI, Andrew John Innocenti, disclosed how it identified and nailed Nigeria’s Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, as one of the co-conspirators of Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi.
The FBI said that Kyari abandoned his duties in Nigeria sometime in 2019 and flew to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, to “enjoy a good time” with Hushpuppi, who lived at Palazzo Versace in the Emirati commercial capital.
It further alleged that Huspuppi appeared to have first interacted with Mr Kyari during the police officer’s trip to Dubai in September 2019.
The special agent said that conversations between them showed that Hushpuppi sent a car and a driver to drive Mr Kyari around in Dubai.
“Soon thereafter, KYARI sent ABBAS a video slideshow which showed some personal photographs of KYARI, some of which appeared to have been taken in the U.A.E”, an excerpt from the affidavit reads.
It was further alleged that later in September “after KYARI sent ABBAS an article that discussed him arresting alleged kidnappers, ABBAS wrote, in part, to KYARI, “Am really happy to be ur boy,’ and later, ‘I promise to be a good boy to u sir’.”

Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has revealed that it has been contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to arrest DCP Abba Kyari, over his connection with a serial internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas aka Hushpuppi.
A top source in the EFCC who spoke with SaharaReporters however said no arrest can be made by the agency since Kyari is a police officer and that the case was not within the capacity of the EFCC but for the police to handle.
“FBI has contacted EFCC, asking that we arrest Abba Kyari but we told them that it is a police matter” the source in the EFCC said.
A Nigerian lady has shared screenshots of the messages her dad received from a fraudster who siphoned over N100k from his bank account.
The lady, identified as @ivysopinions on Twitter, took to the microblogging platform to raise alarm about the fraudster who allegedly stole her dad’s ATM card and withdrew money from his account.
Fortunately, her dad was able to block the account before he could withdraw more money. Oddly, the fraudster sent a message bragging about the amount he stole, adding that he wished he collected up to N1 million before the account was blocked.
The lady also appealed to the public to help her trace the fraudster’s phone number.

Housemates of the Big Brother Naija: Shine Ya Eye reality TV show, Maria and Pere have been unveiled as the wild cards on the sixth season of the show.
Viewers got to discover that they’re biggie’s wild cards during their Diary session on Thursday, July 29, 2021.
On Thursday evening, Maria and Pere were called into the Diary room by Big Brother and it was in course of the session that it was revealed that they are the Wild Cards.
However, Pere is unaware of the fact that Maria is the second wild card while Maria also has no idea that Pere is a wild card.
Shortly after the housemates made their way into the Big Brother house, Biggie announced to them that there are two wild cards who aren’t real housemates. He then issued the task of figuring out who the wild cards are by the end of the week.
According to Big Brother should the housemates precisely figure out who the Wild Cards are, then they will be evicted this Sunday, but should they fail in identifying who they are, then Pere and Maria (the wild cards) will join other housemates in vying for the N90 million grand prize.
Biggie also stated that if the wild cards are not figured out by the housemates, then the wild cards have nomination privilege on Monday. He noted however, that this privilege will be explained in the coming days.

A video of a ‘masquerade’ preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ has gone viral on social media.
In the video, a Nigerian man cladded in a masquerade attire could be seen parading the streets and preaching the gospel with a handheld megaphone.
The man, who spoke in fluent Igbo language, urged people to accept Jesus into the life.
Passersby stood still to listen to his message and some brought out their phones to record the strange sight.
