A Nigerian man who has keenly Observed Big Brother Naija “shine ya eyes” housemate, Angel, has opined that’s she needs to be loved.
According to the man identified as Chibuzor, real love will help boost her confidence and it will help her heal.
Recall that Angel earlier revealed she battles mental health problems, and she started self-harming since she was 14. (Read here).

An old tweet of BBNaija housemate, Angel, in which she admitted to trolling BBNaija season 5 winner, Laycon, has surfaced online.
The new housemate had stated that she knows she is always attacking Laycon when he was in the lockdown house, but she’s happy that he is following his passion – music.
Angel had tweeted, “Okay, I know I’m always trolling Laycon but I’m glad he’s doing what makes him happy and if that’s music? Then good for him. Life is 222 short.”
The tweet didn’t sit well with Laycon’s fans, popularly known as Icons, as they’ve blacklisted her barely a week after the show began.
It can be recalled that Laycon was loved and favoured by many during the fifth edition of the reality show. His personality and charisma earned him a spot in the hearts of viewers of the show and they pooled resources together to make sure he wins the show. A football player identified as Jonah reportedly slumped and died during a football match in Nasarawa State over the weekend.
It was gathered that the sad incident happened in Angwa- Ali in Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Moyo Lawal has lambasted married women who judge young unmarried ladies that engage in pre-marital sex.
According to her, if any of the judgmental married women did not marry their husband as virgins, they they are also sinners and have no moral right to judge other women.
Moyo stated this while reacting to a video of comedian, Ali Baba, where he said ladies who lived promiscuous life before getting married are always the first to insult ladies online.

A Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage has captured the moment a yet-to-be-identified lady deliberately set a popular supermarket ablaze in Abuja.
In the footage the lady pretended to pick something from one of the shelves which had gas cylinders on it, she stylishly turned on the gas and quickly left before it caught fire.
Moments later the supermarket located at Lokogoma district in Abuja went up in flames leading to the loss of goods worth millions of naira.
According to reports, firefighters battled the fire until the next day. The unfortunate incident happened on Saturday, July 17th.

A Nigerian lecturer, Dipo Awojide has averred that academic excellence should be celebrated with huge rewards just like BBNaija winners.
Taking to micro-blogging platform, Twitter, Awojide queried the tradition of federal and state institutions rewarding their best graduating students with handshakes and as little as N5,000, when winners of a reality show goes home with a grand prize of N90M.
In a lengthy Twitter rant he called on the government to prioritize the education sector and invest in the youths.

“If a #BBNajia winner can get N9OM in cash price there is no reason why best graduating students across our prestigious federal and state universities should be getting N5K, N1OK or a useless handshake. We must do better. Academic excellence should be celebrated!

The 29-year-old Dubai-based Air hostess turned realtor made this disclosure during her interview with the organizers of the reality TV show.

The trial of Nigerian actor, Omiyinka Olanrewaju better known as Baba Ijesha, for the alleged sexual assault of foster daughter of Nigerian comedienne, Princess resumed today, Monday July 26, 2021.
The 48-year-old embattled thespian is being tried on a six-count charge which includes sexual assault by penetration, indecent treatment of a child, and sexual assault.
Others charges are the indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
Ijesha was first arraigned in court in June and at the time, the court denied him bail.
On Monday morning, Ijesha arrived at the court at about 9:30 am in the company of his friends. Also in attendance at the court were comedian, Princess and Iyabo Ojo.
A South African businesswoman, Prisca Soko took to her Facebook page on Sunday, July 25, to celebrate her child, Gavriel Soko, on his 8th birthday.
In her Facebook post, Prisca shared that she gave birth to Gavriel in 2013 after 21 years of waiting, four miscarriages and two stillbirths.

BBNaija housemate, Angel has revealed that her first boyfriend died in 2019 and his death severely affected her mental heath.
Angel, who has 11 tattoos in different parts of her body, disclosed this while introducing herself to her fellow housemates on Sunday night.
According to the 21-year-old, she battled with depression and started self-harming after her boyfriend’s death. However, she didn’t disclose the cause of his death.
She added that she came to BBNaija to find herself because she has been living a purposeless life.

Zahra Ado-Bayero, daughter of the Emir of Bichi is set to get married to President Buhari’s son, Yusuf on the 20th of August, 2021.
According to a report by Daily Trust, a total of 145 people have been named on a committee inaugurated to coordinate the wedding.
The committee which was set up by the Emir of Kano, Nasiru Ado Bayero, will also organize a schedule of the Emir’s coronation and presentation of staff of office by Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje.
A statement signed by the spokesperson for the emirate, Lurwan Malikawa, says the coronation follows a day after the wedding at the Emir’s palace.
The statement also reveals that the committee will be headed by the District Head of Bagwai, who is also the Madakin Bichi Alhaji Nura Ahmad and Falakin Bichi Alhaji Abba Waziri will serve as the committee’s secretary.
During the inauguration ceremony of the committee, the Emir of Bichi, represented by the Madakin Bichi, urged members of the committee to use their wealth of experience to ensure the success of the coronation as well as that of the royal wedding.
