A young man surprised his girlfriend with a brand new car weeks after she reject his marriage the proposal.
According to the man identified as @Turkcooper on TikTok, he already told her he had a small gift for her but didn’t tell her what it was, and when he took the delivery of the car weeks after she rejected his marriage proposal he still presented it to her.
Taking to the video sharing platform, TikTok to share a video which captured the moment he presented the car to her, the man shared his touching story.
In the video the woman who had earlier rejected the man’s proposal was extremely happy to receive the car gift and immediately hopped in for a test drive.

Haiti president, Jovenel Moise assassinated in his home
Haitian President, Jovenel Moise, has been assassinated by yet-to-be identified gunmen at his private residence.
According to a statement released by the interim Prime Minister, Claude Joseph, the president was murdered in the early hours of Wednesday, July 7.
“At about 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, a group of unknown individuals, some of whom spoke Spanish, attacked the president’s private residence and lethally wounded the Head of State,”
“Moise’s wife also received a gunshot, but undergoing medical treatment,” he added.
The prime minister also condemned the act and described it as a “disgusting, inhumane and barbaric” attack on the Haitian president and called for calm.
“The security situation is under control of the national police and the armed forces,’’ Joseph said.
In February 2021, Moise raised alarm about an assassination attempt on his life and plans to overthrow his government.
“There was an attempt on my life. That plan was aborted,” he had said.
More than 20 persons, including a supreme court judge and an inspector-general of police were arrested following the accusation.

‘Mentally challenged’ man allegedly stabs pedestrian for refusing to give him money in Port Harcourt (Photos)
A mentally challenged man has been beaten to a pulp by angry mob after he allegedly stabbed a pedestrian who refused to give him money.
According to viral reports, the mentally challenged man attacked a yet-to-be identified pedestrian in his 20’s who passed by him and refused to tip him when he asked.
Eyewitnesses alleged that the mentally challenged man approached the young boy for money to buy food but was turned down.
Piqued by the young man’s refusal to give him money, the lunatic who is quite popular in the area stabbed the passerby with a knife on Wednesday morning, July 7th at the Choba axis of the East/West Road, Port Harcourt.
The victim who immediately passed out was rushed to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital where he was resuscitated.
Triggered by his action traders and motorists attacked the mentally challenged man and beat him to a pulp.

A young Nigerian lady identified as virtuousi on Instagram, has recounted the challenges she faced as an undergraduate in a Nigerian university.
According to the writer, her four years in the university was frustrating and at different times she threatened to drop out. To make matters worse her final year project was almost rejected because it was about sexual harassment and at the time some lecturers of the school were exposed in Kiki Mordi’s sex for grade documentary.
Narrating the experience, the lady who had her graduation ceremony yesterday July 6th, in a lengthy Instagram post wrote,
“Four years in Unilag and there was no day I didn’t threaten to drop out. The moment a lecturer moved to me, I lost total interest in school and hated that school with my entire being. Yes, I got carry overs in his courses for two years plus even though his courses were where my strength lied.
In my final year, I did my final year project on the Me too movement which was centered around sexual harassment, this topic didn’t sit well with some of my lecturers because this was coming after the Sex for grades documentary. When I got to chapter four, my supervisor swore that she didn’t remember approving my topic, I left her office and broke down.
On the day of my defense, the men on my panel were the ones that were most notorious in that field. They finished me.
I was the only one with that topic in the entire department and my work was impeccable as acknowledged by the sub supervisor I was referred to but they didn’t even let me introduce myself before they asked why I picked the topic. My supervisor had to beg them to let me go.
At that point, I just wanted to graduate, I didn’t even care anymore. It finally happened today and I’m glad I saw this this through for the sake of my late mom and late Roli(third slide). They both started this journey with me but didn’t get to finish it with me.

Nigerian man, Christian Edem-Eyo, 34, who killed and beheaded his aunt in Cross River state has revealed the reason why he killed her.
It was earlier reported that the suspect murdered Uduak Effiong Okpo, 65, in cold blood and buried her head and body separately on June 23.
The suspect was paraded before newsmen on Tuesday, July 6, in Calabar, where he claimed that he killed his aunt because she belonged to the “marine world” and was terrorizing him spiritually.
Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), he said, “I killed Uduak Okpo because she belonged to the marine world. She was terrorising me spiritually in the compound.
She was making my manhood to rise spiritually, that was why I killed her.”
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Sikiru Akande, disclosed that the suspect would soon be charged to court.

Pastor and his gang arrested while trying to sell 15.8 million counterfeit Naira notes
A pasto identified as Sebastine Dabu, and his geng have been arrested by operatives of the Niger State police command for trying to sell N15.8m fake notes.
According to reports, the 48-year-old was arrested on June 29, alongside Emmanuel Akazuwa, 42 and Umar Mohammed, 50.
ASP Wasiu Abiodun, the command’s spokesperson, Emmanuel was arrested in possession of one thousand naira notes to the tune of fifteen million, eight hundred and thirty thousand naira (N15,830,000) suspected to be counterfeit at a Hotel in Kontagora.
During interrogation, Emmanuel confessed to the crime and claimed that he bought the fake currency from one Nifom presently at large at Katsina-Ala in Benue State at the rate of one hundred and fifty thousand naira, while he met Pastor Sabastine at a Cathedral Congress in Makurdi who promised to assist him to sell the currency. They were to meet with a potential customer at the hotel.

Popular Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana otherwise known as Falz has affirmed that he is genuinely fulfilling his passion.
The singing sensation who took to his official Instagram page to reminisce on the visuals of his hit track “soft work”, described the piece as an artistic representation of his story at the time.
According to him, looking back he can only admit that he’s fulfilling his passion for music and at the same time having so much fun while at it.
Sharing excerpt from the music video, he wrote,
“On this exact day, 5 years ago (July 6, 2016), I released this smash. It was an artistic representation of my story at the time. Genuinely fulfilling my passion & having so much fun while at it.
5 years later, not much is different .. Only that I can’t say this line anymore – “mature money and I ain’t even 30 yet”

“Who sags and drinks while mourning a friend?” – Uche Maduagwu shades Davido
Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has reacted to a recent video of DMW boss, Davido paying tribute to his late friend, Obama DMW.
The music executive in a video that found its way to the internet paid tribute to his late friend as he stepped out of his house in Atlanta.
Davido who had a cup of drink in his hand and slightly sagged his pant while entering his car said, “RIP 44”.
Reacting to the video, controversial Nigerian actor, Maduagwu has taken to social media to call Davido out. According to him, the singer was supposed to be sober following the death of his close associate.
Sharing a screenshot from the video which showed Davido sagging and with a drink in his hand, Uche wrote,

Nobody can ban my movie, Oko Iyabo – Yomi Fabiyi
Actor Yomi Fabiyi has declared that nobody can ban his controversial movie, Oko Iyabo.
The movie which was recently released on YouTube has since been generating controversy as those who claim to have watched it allege that it based on the ongoing sexual assault case involving colleague Baba Ijesha and comedian Princess.
After serious backlash and people complaining, Yomi claimed he pulled the movie down, but social media users claimed YouTube pulled it down because of the reports it had.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, the actor has now defiantly said that nobody can ban his movie.
He also added that the movie is about himself and Iyabo Ojo because he has a right to tell a story ;
OKO IYABO MOVIE & concept is about Yomi(me) & lyabo. I have right to write my own story.
lyabo Ojo has done many videos mentioning my full names and the videos were published on YouTube, IGTV etc simply because I stand for HUMAN RIGHTS, so also Princess mentioned my real names. They called me pedophile and rape apologist for standing by what is right. So sentiment on use of real names. It is allowed in movie making.
The movie never undermine the victim or any girl child, someone twisted that so they can make you react. Most commenting did not see the FULL MOVIE before judgement. Mo fa yin le Olorun lowo.
I hand you all to your consciences and God.
No amount of all these can pull me down.
AND NOBODY BANNED MY MOVIE. We private it deliberately just to give room for calm. At some point OKO IYABO MOVIE will be released on DVD, YouTube and others. You can’t abort an already born baby.
Censor’s board will rate OKO IYABO when I apply and everybody will enjoy the movie soon because it is about two young actors, Yomi & Iyabo fighting on a case from different angle and personalities.
