Aloma in an interview with veteran rapper, Jahbless, on his podcast ‘Original Intelligence’, disclosed that some persons tried to bribe him to testify against Davido, that he had a hand in Tagbo’s death.

It was reported that he drove himself to the hospital in Lekki Lagos for treatment and unfortunately he died moments later.
Davido who is currently in Atlanta paid tribute to his late friend as he stepped out of his house, while a voice behind the camera assured the singer that he’ll still conquer the world regardless of happenings around him
As Davido entered his vehicle he said, “RIP 44”.

Fire guts building in TB Joshua’s synagogue church during his candlelight procession (photos/video)
There was a fire outbreak at late TB Joshua’s church, Synagogue Church of All Nations, on Monday night during his candle light procession.
The funeral ceremony of the late clergyman started yesterday, Monday July 5th, with the candlelight procession in his church located in Ikotun, Lagos state.
However at about 11pm on Monday a building located in the church premises gutted fire. The church confirmed the fire incident in a press statement shared on its official Facebook page and noted that there was no casualty.
The statement reads,
“In the late evening of Monday 5th July 2021, there was a minor electrical fire incident at a storehouse within The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations complex.
“The incident was quickly brought under control without any injuries.
“As part of the preparedness for the weeklong services celebrating the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua, The SCOAN has worked closely with relevant government agencies including the Lagos State Fire Services, whose members were on the ground at the time of the incident.
“We thank God for His continued protection. We assure the general public that there is no cause for alarm and the services celebrating the life and legacy of Prophet TB Joshua will continue as scheduled.”

TAMPAN summons Yomi Fabiyi over controversial movie, Oko Iyabo.
The Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners’ Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN has summoned actor Yomi Fabiyi his controversial new movie ‘Oko Iyabo’.
The movie seemed loosely based on Baba Ijesha’s rape saga with real names of those involved in the case, and also reportedly making it look like the minor was having an affair with Baba Ijesha who is now facing trial for child molestation and sexual abuse.
TAMPAN’s Director of Research and Documentation, Yemi Amodu said Fabiyi was invited because the movie has sparked off another round of dissension between the group and the public.
The statement read;
“The TAMPAN Committee on Ethics, Conflict and Resolution wishes to inform the general public that the association has summoned Mr. Yomi Fabiyi who is the Producer/Director of the controversial film titled “OKO IYABO” to appear before it on Thursday 11th July 2021.
“This invitation becomes very necessary because of the controversy that the subject matter of his film has generated which is against our ethic and virtue.
“Despite that, we realize that the film has sparked off another round of dissension between TAMPAN and the public; this is unacceptable to us and unsuitable to what we represent.
“We hereby implore the general public and the parties concerned to please exercise patience as our eminent association is on top of this issue and will certainly ensure fairness and justice.”
Daughter demands justice as her Father allegedly dies in police custody after he was arrested over a land in Lagos State
A young lady identified as Olivia Ollie has taken to social media to cry out after her Father, Livinus, was arrested unjustly and allegedly died shortly after he was released.
Olivia took to her Facebook page to tell the story and demand justice, read below ;
On 9th of June 2021, a certain Mr Yusuf Remilekun contacted Mr Livinus Onyekaba. He had said he wanted to sell off an old property somewhere in Lagos. After negotiation was made,they came to an agreement that Mr. Livinus will buy the properties inside the house after which the house will be demolished, all of these was documented and signed by both parties(The signed papers has been locked up in the site together with his tools). A transfer of 1million naira was made from Livinus Onyekaba to Mr Yusuf as payment for the properties inside the house(Proof of payment is available both in bank statements which can be made available on request and on debit alert screenshot)
On Thursday 10th June, the security personnel who works in the building granted Mr Livinus access to the building on the orders of his boss,to take out the properties he bought and commence demolition. It was when he was at work, “family members” came to arrest him and his co-workers. Under the accusations of trespassing private property. With the aid of the police and no witnesses to ascertain the claims of the family members as owners of the property, he was whisked away to okoko police station along side his coworker. 5 days into his arrest,he was transfer to Ikeja police station. Its been twelve days and no complainant has been identify, neither has the police been able disclosed any complainant who filed for the arrest of Mr Livinus Onyekaba. The seller,Mr Yusuf Remilekun has been on the run since 10th June.
After going back and forth, he was denied bail. The D.P.O of the Ikeja police station demanded the sum of 100k to be paid to track down Mr Yusuf. The money was paid on 29th June by the lawyer representing Mr Livinus. On same 29th June, the D.P.O billed his bail as 500k and demanded it to be paid within a stipulated time,else it would increase. The lawyer negotiated and it was reduced to 300k.
The 100k paid to track down Mr Yusuf has no feedback yet. Mr Yusuf hasn’t been found,neither was Mr Livinus released.
On 1st of July,he as released after paying the required bail. According to my family,he never opened his eyes or said a word on the ride from Ikeja to Ogun state where he was taken to the hospital. Below is the doctor’s report.

Unknown Gunmen kill Enugu businessman in front of his 7-year-old son
Suspected assassins have killed the Chief Executive Officer of AutoEase services in Enugu State, Mr. Ifeanyi Okeke.
The gruesome crime was done in the presence of his 7-year-old son who he had gone to pick from a barbing salon.
According to report, the assailants hit his car from the back and when he came out to investigate, they ordered him to lie down on the floor, then shot him on the leg and stomach.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Ndatsu Aliyu, psc, has ordered the State CID to launch a full-scale investigation and manhunt of the criminal elements in view of bringing them to book.”

Yomi Fabiyi has reacted to the backlash he’s gotten after he released a new controversial movie titled “OKO Iyabo”.
In the film Fabiyi depicts Baba Ijesha as a victim of a set up orchestrated by Princess. The characters in the film take on the names of the individuals involved in the case including actress, Iyabo Ojo whom the story seemingly centers around.
Nigerians then took on a quest to report the movie for being insensitive.
Due to the reaction and negative reviews it got, Yomi took to his Instagram page to share a post stating that he’s asked that the video be pulled down or placed on PRIVATE.

Pregnant MUA dies during child birth, barely two months after her birthday
Family and friends are mourning a young lady, Becky Babatunde, who passed away due to complications during child birth, barely two months after her birthday.
Becky, who was a makeup artist and based in Calabar, Cross State, reportedly died a few days ago while giving birth to her daughter, who is said to be alive and healthy.
The decease was laid to rest on Saturday, July 3 in Calabar.
Becky’s loved ones have taken to Facebook to mourn her.

In the movie titled “Oko Iyabo,” Fabiyi features characters with names of individuals involved in the case including actors Iyabo Ojo, Olarenwaju Omiyinka aka Baba Ijesha.
Fabiyi also depicts the disturbing CCTV video in a scene in the movie but portrays Baba Ijesha’s underage victim as his consenting lover.
Tonto describes Fabiyi’s movie as a display of bitterness and anger. She also added that it is disgusting and a slap on R*pe victims.

Tania Omotayo’s husband, Olasumbo Olawale was arrested by the EFCC about a week ago over fraud related charges.
According to reports, the duo were picked up at their Victoria Island residence in June, 2021 – over an alleged multimillionaire fraud in the U.S – based on a request by the FBI.
EFCC wrote on their Instagram page ;
Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested two suspects for alleged internet fraud and money laundering, following credible intelligence received by the Commission about their alleged involvement in romance scam, business email compromise, benefit scam, credit card fraud and money laundering.
The suspects, Boniface Odenigbo Amandianeze and Olasunmbo Olawale Winfunke, owners of Buzz Bar, a nightclub located on Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, were arrested recently at No 2A and 2B Oniru Estate, Lagos.

Nollywood actress, Rosy Meurer and her husband, Olakunle Churchill, stepped out with their son over the weekend.
The controversial couple, who welcomed their son, King Churchill Jnr, in March 2021, are currently on vacation in Ghana and are having an amazing time together as a family. They also paid a visit to the Elmina Slave Castle.
Rosy took to her Instagram page this afternoon to share photos from the trip as she wished her followers a wonderful week ahead.

In other news, Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill recently, corrected an Instagram user who ‘called him out’ after he used ‘Real King Churchill’ in a caption to a picture he shared on his page.
Apparently, Churchill shared a photo of himself and his son, (The one he had with his current wife, Rosy Meurer), captioning the photo ‘Real King Churchill’ in it.
An Instagram user noted that the caption made it seem like he prefers his son with Rosy than with his ex-wife, Tonto.
The user quickly asked him not to choose one son over the other.
Correcting the Instagram user, he stated that using the term real was just used to create an Instagram page for the infant.

Popular Nigerian singers, Olamide and Fireboy DML were recently spotted effortlessly spraying wads of cash at a night club in Miami, USA.
The YBNL boss and his signee, Fireboy were the center of attraction at the nightclub as they made money rain. In videos serving rounds online the duo were seen spraying money on other clubbers who were mostly foreigners.
The white people who were also there to party and have fun only watched in awe as the Rock crooner and his signee ooze wealth and class.

In other news, the Nigerian rapper and YBNL boss, Olamide Adedeji has revealed that his experience growing up in a slum motivated him to work hard.
The 32-year-old entertainer disclosed this in a recent interview with The Guardian UK, where he spoke extensively about his journey to fame.
According to him, living in a slum in the Bariga area of Lagos and his parent’s inability to provide three square meals for the family spurred him to succeed against all odds.
He said,
“Surviving was hard. Bariga was not far from the other slums you see across the world, from Mumbai to New York and London – life in the ghetto is almost always the same everywhere.
There were days when being able to afford three square meals was a big deal for my family. All of that motivated me to hustle hard – I wanted to see the whole world and experience different cultures from what I grew up seeing.”

Yomi Fabiyi has brought the wrath of Nigerians upon himself with his latest movie.
He controversially titled the movie “Oko Iyabo” and in one of the scene, re-enacted the infamous Baba Ijesa child molestation scene that was caught on CCTV.
In the film released on YouTube on July 4, 2021, Fabiyi features characters with names of individuals involved in the case including actors Iyabo Ojo, Olarenwaju Omiyinka aka Baba Ijesha.
