Nigerian Lady tells horrifying story of how she was kidnapped, beaten and raped after she entered a wrong bus.
A Nigerian lady has shared her ordeal at the hands of kidnappers.
According to the lady, she boarded a bus at the park in Enugu to Rivers State but the next thing she could remember was that she woke up in a bungalow, tied to a chair.
She said she was repeatedly raped and beaten while two others who could not meet the demands of their captors were brutally murdered.

On 23rd June I was traveling from Enugu to Rivers State I entered a wrong bus at the park, the last thing I can remember very well was texting my sister that I was already on my way, after that I heard a something cold on my noise and I dozed off
And woke up where there’s only but one bungalow and 6 of us tied to a chair immediately I knew I have been kidnapped. There was this guy sitting down with a gun looking at us without saying a word until one huge looking man came out of the bungalow and started telling Us to pray first with a hot slap, after that, he then told us that we have been kidnapped, and we should not be afraid that as soon as our relatives cooperate with them nothing’s going to happen to us. He asked the first person his name and who to call,
The guy’s name was Philip, Philip said he doesn’t have anyone to call that he is just a normal business man trying to make needs, they skipped him and said he wasn’t ready to cooperate yet. Long story short now reached my turn it’s only my sister I can call which they did and They told my sister if she likes, she should go and tell the police or army that there’s nothing they can do (that was when I knew my own has finished), they told my sister that she’ll pay N3,000,000 or she won’t see me again, my father is not too strong so my sister Had to keep everything away from my father. Fast forward to Philip and others, 2 people were killed right in front of me (Philip and One girl) because they couldn’t meet up with their demands and the other 3 people were released with 2M each. The reason why they didn’t kill me Was because my sister was picking up calls even after a week and cooperating with them, my sister had to sell some things and borrow up and down to pay 2M and on top of that right from 26th every night I eat beating, and get raped by two of them
When my sister Paid the money I was dropped off at 4corners near agbani at night, I am currently in a hospital receiving treatment which, I am so traumatized, I need help. I can’t take Philip & that girl they killed off my head. They killed and cut them into pieces.
Daredevil Influencer dies after falling off waterfall while taking selfie
A daredevil social media influencer has died after falling off a waterfall while trying to take a selfie.
The 32-year-old Asian, named Sofia Cheng, slipped and fell 16 feet to her death into the Tsing Dai stream in Tuen Mun, near the district of Yuen Long, at around 5pm on Saturday, July 10.
She had spent the day hiking with her three friends at Ha Pak Lai nature park, when she climbed up to the top of the waterfall to take photos when she lost her footing and fell into the water.
Her friends immediately called the emergency services. When first responders arrived on the scene and rescued her, she was found to be unresponsive.
She was then transported via helicopter to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital in Chai Wan, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Friends have taken to social media to mourn her untimely demise.
Cheung, whose Instagram bio reads “Life should be fun not dumb”, lived an adventurous life as seen on her Instagram page. She loved hiking, kayaking, exploring, outdoor activities, and photography.

EFCC arrests Pastor for allegedly diverting Church’s N15m for his PhD and secretly enlisting his wife on Church’s payroll
A Pastor of the Adventist Church, Omosebi Fred Adeola has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abuja over alleged conspiracy and misappropriation of funds.
The suspect was arraigned before Justice A.O Otaluka of the Federal High Court sitting in Apo, Abuja on an 11-count charge bordering on conspiracy, abuse of office and diversion of funds to the tune of N15,619,000.
The clergyman who is also the Country Director of the Adventist Development and Relief Agency of Nigeria, allegedly diverted relief funds for himself, including paying for his PhD programme at Babcock University and illegally enlisting his wife on the church’s payroll.
Count two of the charge said being a signatory to the various bank accounts, around 13th December 2017, in Abuja, Adeola committed criminal breach of trust.
It was alleged that he first transferred N7,714,000 from the account of Adventist Development and Relief Agency of Nigeria to the account of one Ayeni Gbenga Joseph, cashed it and then converted it into personal use.
Adeola however pleaded “not guilty” to all the charges. Prosecution counsel, Ibrahim Audu asked the court for a trial date and requested that the defendant be remanded in custody pending trial.
Defence counsel, E. G. Alala notified of a pending bail application, and prayed the court to grant his client bail as he is “a modest man of God who honoured EFCC invitations”.
The presiding judge, Justice Otaluka granted Adeola bail in the sum of N10m and two sureties in like sum. The sureties must be residents in Abuja, have a property worth N10m, provide addresses of residence, provide identity cards, passport photographs and N3 million as bonds.
The case has been adjourned till September 30, 2021, for trial.

Three-headed baby hailed as “incarnation of God” in India, with pilgrims travelling long distances to pay homage
A woman has given birth to a baby with three heads in Uttar Pradesh, India, which has left the local community in shock.
The child has attracted pilgrims from all over India who view the child as “sacred” and an “incarnation of God”.
Strangers in India have reportedly been making pilgrimages to see the newborn since its birth was announced on July 12.
According to reports, the mother, simply identified as Ragini, had a “normal” and healthy pregnancy which makes the birth of a three-headed child all the more shocking.
In photos and video making rounds on social media, the infant is seen with two extra heads attached to the back of its “normal” head.
Both mother and child are reportedly doing fine and have been discharged from the hospital. However, they are said to be overwhelmed by the visits from people who are desperate to see the newborn.

Nigerian Basketball team honor Sound Sultan with their T-Shirts before their pre-Olympics match against Australia (video)
Nigerian Basketball team, D’Tigers honored late veteran singer, Sound Sultan with their warm-up shirt before their match against Australia on Tuesday, July 14.
The veteran singer, who was a Basketball enthusiast, died on July 11, 2021, after a four-year long battle with throat cancer.
It can be recalled that the Nigerian Basketball Federation dedicated D’Tigers’ massive wins against Team USA and Argentina to Sound Sultan.
D’Tigers have now paid their last respect to the late singer with their T-Shirts just before their game against Australia last night. The shirts had Sound Sultan’s face boldly printed on it.
They also observed one minute silence to honour Sound Sultan’s memories.

Popular Nigerian singers, Davido and Tiwa Savage are still mourning the death of their close friend, Habeeb Uthman better known as Obama DMW.
In a video that surfaced online Tiwa Savage and DMW boss, Davido were spotted at the graveside of Obama DMW alongside other crew members.
Davido’s associate who died after he complained of breathing difficulty on Tuesday 29th, 2021 was buried according to Muslim rites in his hometown in Epe, Lagos State.
Tiwa Savage, the music executive and his other crew members recently visited Obama’s graveside in Epe to pay respect to him.

SAD : Nigerian man dies in motor accident two days after his wedding
A Nigerian man, Jamilu Abdulhamid has tragically passed away in a motor accident two day after his wedding in Kano State.
According to reports, Abdulhamid and his wife, Saratu Abdul Salisu got married on Sunday, July 11, in Kano State.
Abulhamid and Saratu were involved in a road accident that occurred along the Kaduna-Abuja highway on Tuesday, July 13.
While the groom died on the spot, the bride was seriously injured and currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.
The groom’s friend, Kabiru Garba, who confirmed the incident, wrote on Facebook ;
“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un! We lost Jamilu in a ghastly car accident on their way to Abuja. The couple just got married last Sunday and left Kano for Abuja in their plan to settle in their matrimonial home in Benin Republic. I had my last chat with Saratu yesterday where i was re-congratulating her on her marriage. Saratu is currently in a hospital in Abuja receiving medical attention.”

The House of Representatives have kicked against the multiple media interviews of Chidinma Ijukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of Super TV CEO, Mr. Usifo Ataga.
Chidinma Ojukwu, a 300-level Mass Communication student of the University of Lagos was arrested on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, over the alleged murder of the Super TV CEO, Mr. Usifo Ataga, in the Lekki area of Lagos.
She has since been subjected to various rounds of press conferences and multiple interviews.
However, the House during plenary yesterday, July 13, expressed concern that since the arrest of Chidinma, she has been paraded around, granting interviews to various several news platforms, thereby causing the internet and news media to be agog with the discussion and dissecting the matter. They, however, asked the police to ensure that there is no repeat of violation of human rights such as media access to arrested persons in the future to avoid compromising the case in a court of law.
According to the motion moved by the member representing Oluyole federal constituency of Oyo State, Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, the law of Nigeria does not allow for social media trials and matters that are sub-judice (meaning before the court or not yet judicially decided) are not to be discussed by the media

“Cognizant that Section 36/5) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) provides that every person who is charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed to be innocent until he is proven guilty. Thus so long Ms Ojukwu has not been proven guilty by the court of competent jurisdiction, she is not to be labeled a criminal or paraded about to conduct series of interviews on a case currently under investigation. Rather, the police are to conduct a proper investigation and allow the court to consider the matter and make an informed judgment.”

Nollywood Actress, Crystal Okoye, has called out her colleague, Chizzy Alichi, after she allegedly caused her to lose a Job.
According to her, Chizzy Alichi came in and told the directors that she will not be on same set with her.

NYSC member saved from one-chance kidnappers after observant driver noticed her in distress and blocked the car
A young lady was saved from one-chance kidnappers by another observant driver.
Thee lady identified as Tamunobelema Dikibo, a corps member, entered a vehicle at the Ikoyi-Lekki Link Bridge in Lagos, not knowing it was occupied by one-chance kidnappers.
After she had got in, the men locked the car doors and windows and dragged her phone.
Fortunately, there was slight traffic and the men tried to reverse to get away from it.
Another driver used his car to block the car driven by the criminals then knocked on the driver’s window.

This was a few weeks after my dad died, so I was super emotional….in fact throughout the whole pregnancy.Covid then hit, and I kept thinking how am I going to do this…but God was with us throughout.
Captain did everything he could, but he couldn’t make it for General’s birth. I was in gangsta mode, and knew I had to be prepared to do it by myself if need be. Thankfully my sister @simply_y_gee came through. Covid rules were strict, and she had to leave about an hour after General arrived, and I wasn’t allowed any visitors for the rest of my stay in the hospital.
This pregnancy was definitely a bit trickier than Chairman’s, but it all thankfully ended in praise!!!
Super thankful God, family & friend for all their support. We are eternally grateful.

I wonder why Nigerians accept me despite “despite not being rich”— President Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari says he wonders why Nigerians accepted and voted for him “despite not being rich”.
President Buhari said this while restating his determination to serve the country to the best of his ability, and he recalled his visits to the 36 States during the campaign for 2019 elections.
In his words ;
“The number of people that turned out to see me, some waiting for 10 hours in the sun, was more than anyone could buy, or force. They just wanted to see who this Buhari was. People wonder why Nigerians accept me, despite not being rich. I wonder, too. I felt I just have to serve Nigeria and Nigerians to the best of my ability.”
The president further said Nigerians should congratulate themselves for being lucky to still remaining together despite challenges that could have torn everyone apart.
Alleged UNIBEN graduating student who claimed she passed with the help of ”aggressive malpractice” lands in trouble
An alleged graduating student of the University of Benin recently went viral on social media over the inscription of her signing out tee after a video of her, donning the shirt was shared on the internet.
Well, her ‘Fifteen Minutes of clout’ has now landed her in trouble with the school authorities.
In a recent update, the University’s management has reportedly commenced investigations into the viral video, following the uproar that trailed the video.
The lady identified as Peace Ufuoma graduated from Microbiology Department, Faculty of Life Sciences, according to Campus Gist.
It was also gathered that she may be summoned to appear before a disciplinary panel over the video, and if found wanting, she is likely to be dismissed or have her certificate withheld.
“The character exhibited by the student is not a true reflection of who we are as an institution of learning – our training, discipline, norms and tradition. We raise and award our certificates to only deserving graduands both in character and learning,” aa top official with the institution said.
Actress, Anita Joseph replies those criticizing her for publicly praying for her husband
Married Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph has addressed those criticizing her for publicly praying for her husband, MC Fish.
In the early hours of Tuesday, July 13th the Anita shared a video of herself praying for her husband as he prepares to embark on a journey.
According to her, her husband was travelling for a job and she was feeling some type of way and decided to commit his journey in the hands of the lord, in prayer.
Sharing the video the actress urged her fans and followers to follow her footsteps and endeavor to pray for their partners, “I’m going back to sleep🙈🤪…Did you pray for your man this morning 💪 Always pray for your Husband”, she captioned the post.
Reacting to her post, a follower who perceived it to be a mere social media show-off accused her of showing fake love. He noted that women who truly pray for their husbands do it in their closets and not put it out for the world to see.
Anita who wasn’t having any of it immediately slammed the troll while stating that he sees her post as a show off because he is yet to experience true love.
