Nigerian woman found love at 47, got married at 48 and gave birth to a baby boy before her 50th birthday
A Nigerian woman, named Ladunni Idowu Giwa-Osagie, is currently basking in euphoria as she welcomes her first child at almost age 50.
Ladun met her husband, Aigbovo-Giwa-Osagie when she turned 47, they tied the knot when she turned 48, she became pregnant at 49 and gave birth to a baby boy on June 25th, 2021, just before her 50th birthday.
This heartwarming testimony was shared online by Ladun’s friend, Ifeanyi Omeni on Monday, June 28.

“Was I thrilled that day in the year 2019, when she sent the message to the WhatsApp group.
‘I, Oladunni Idowu, finally found love at 47. Join me in appreciating God for his faithfulness and mercy. Indeed, delay is not denial.’
Her words of encouragement and inspiration brought to life dead dreams and shrivelled hopes. The members of the Mature Christian Singles celebrated one of their own, Ladunni, whose story of triumph made many believe in the message of an on-time God.
Ladunni’s story follows a trail of triumph. Of a lady who found love at 47, married at 48, got pregnant at age 49 and just before her 50th birthday, gave birth to a baby boy called Osarumuwese – The Lord has done me well; Oluwaseyitanfunmi – the Lord has done this for me in full and Nosakhare – God’s Will.
On 25th June 2021, Ladunni took a rapid leap unto the 5th floor as the mother of a baby boy.

Nollywood actor, Sam Nnabuike has taken to social media to criticize Igbo mothers who are in the habit of telling their daughters to bring wealthy suitors home.
According to the actor, this must stop because it is preventing ladies from investigating the source of a man’s wealth before accepting to marry them.

Photos of the apartment where the gruesome murder of Super TV CEO, Michael Usifo Ataga took place has been shared online.
Recall that the late billionaire was allegedly murdered by 21-year-old UNILAG student, Chidinma Ojukwu at an Airbnb apartment in Lagos.
TVC who gained entry into the apartment shared video of the one-bedroom short let apartment, which still evidence which showed the victim was murdered there. According to TVC, there was blood at different corners of the apartment which was scattered.
Former DSS Assistant Director, Dennis Amachree urged security agencies to use the evidence obtained from the scene and phone records to nab those who allegedly collaborated with Chidinma to commit the crime.

Nollywood actress and businesswoman, Mary Remmy Njoku has declared support for Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing after they were blacklisted by the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
In a post she shared on her Instagram page, Mary shared her opinion on the controversy surrounding TAMPAN’s decision. According to her, there is nothing like overreaction when there are allegations of rape or child molestation.
The filmmaker and mother of three insinuated that the actresses didn’t deserve the harsh judgment meted on them by the leadership of the association because they were fighting for a good cause.
She also thanked the actresses for using their platforms and voice to speak up for the victim.

Disqualified BBNaija housemate and actress, Erica Nlewedin has opened up about her relationship with her fellow housemate, Vee.
Erica made appearance on the BBNaija lockdown reunion show on Monday night and she addressed some of the issues she had with her colleagues before her disqualification.
Speaking about Vee, the self-acclaimed “Star Girl” stated that she doesn’t know her because they didn’t bond in the house. According to her, she got a lot of negative energy from Vee during her stay in the house so they don’t have anything to talk about.
When Ebuka tried to correct her statement about not knowing Vee at all since they stayed in the same house for months, Erica insisted that she doesn’t know her.
She added that she went for the reality TV show to promote her show-biz career and not to make friends.

#BBNaijaReunion: Moment Wathoni and Erica settled their differences with a hug (Video)
One of the highlight of last nights episode of the Big Brother Naija Reunion show was when Erica and Wathoni settled their differences and hugged each other.
The show started with the disqualified housemate Erica and Wathoni addressing their issue outside the Big Brother House. Erica stated that although they weren’t friends in the house, Wathoni was friendly towards her and even hugged her when she got disqualified.
Erica however noted that she never considered being friends with Wathoni outside the house because she watched videos of wathoni saying negative things about her.
Wathoni in response stated that the only negative thing she ever said about Erica was that “she did bad things with Kiddwaya under the sheet”, adding that she had no reason to hate Erica.
After going back and forth on he issue the duo eventually apologized to each other, and even gave each other a warm embrace to show that they are now cool.

Last night’s episode of the Big Brother Naija Reunion show started with Wathoni and Erica addressing their strained relationship outside the Big Brother Naija house.
The mother of one stated that she has nothing against Erica but she has constantly received negative energy from Erica since she left the house. According to her, there was a Kidd situation and she sensed that must have been the reason for the “bad blood”.
Erica however told Wathoni that the situation was only in her head, then in response Wathoni stated that the billionaire son, Kiddwaya cannot afford her.

The Monday night episode of the BBNaija lockdown reunion was different from what has been witnessed in the last few days.
In what seemed like more of a reconciliation episode, we saw Wathoni and Erica settle their differences and it was a wonderful moment on the show.
The show host, Ebuka, then used the opportunity to address fans who always spew hate and take their love for their favorite housemate to a toxic level.
According to Ebuka, BBNaija offers a lot better than that narrative and it would be nice to see the conversation change.
If you guys can explain this fan situation thing to me, I would really appreciate it.
I think I say this every season, BBNaija is a great show which is why it is this popular, I understand the love and passion fans have for the housemates but I will never understand why we need to get to the point where HATE is what sort of almost seem as the theme of this show. It breaks my heart because there is so much that can come out of this show. People love the show, people love to watch the show but I think it’s a bit of a disservice to what these housemates bring to the show when you see comments like “Big Brother fans are so toxic.”
Because I think we are bigger than that and It will be nice to see the conversation change.

“Before you attempt to frustrate her, kindly be ready for me” – Nkechi Blessing’s politician husband comes for TAMPAN
Actress, Nkechi Blessing’s husband, Hon.Opeyemi Falegan has reacted after the leadership of TAMPAN threatened to
frustrate his wife out of the movie industry.
Recall that Prince Jide Kosoko at a news conference in Lagos on Sunday, June 27th directed producers and directors to stop working with Nkechi Blessing and vowed to “work against her in the movie industry.”
This has however triggered the actress’ politician husband and he has taken to his official Instagram page to warn the association.
According to him, before the Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) attempt to silence or frustrate his wife they should be ready for him.
In his words,
“Before you attempt to silence her or frustrate her, kindly be ready for me. What your association has shown is pure misplaced priorities and dereliction of duties. I respect all elders without fear because no human being is God. It’s a pain to the heart knowing wisdom is required but folly prevails. She is my soul mate and the moment you are breaking her then be ready to break me”.

It’s double celebration for a Nigerian couple as they finally welcome a set of twins after 16 years of waiting.
The new-parents, MR and Mrs Ochibe welcomed their first fruits, two girls, after sixteen years of being married without the fruit of the womb.
A Facebook user identified as Amaka Toria who took to the platform to share the good news while sharing photos from the dedication of the twin girls wrote,

Reality TV star, Abiri Oluwabusayomi popularly known as Khloe, has reacted to TAMPAN leadership’s threat to work against actress, Nkechi Blessing, in the entertainment industry.
It was earlier reported that the leadership of the Theatre Arts & Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) reached a decision to blacklist Nkechi Blessing over her dispute with some of her colleagues on social media during Baba Ijesha rape saga.
She was accused of painting the association in a bad light. However, since she is not a registered member of TAMPAN, the leaders barred filmmakers and directors from working with her.
In reaction to the decision, Khloe has now taken to her Instagram stories to reveal that she’s irritated and went on to describe the leaders as “dumb”.
According to her, Nkechi Blessing does not need the association to be successful.
She wrote,

Nigerian actor and comedian, Mr. Macaroni, has weighed in on the trending conversation about TAMPAN leadership’s decision to suspend actress, Iyabo Ojo.
Recall that the association barred filmmakers and directors from working with Iyabo Ojo because of her “unruly” behaviour on social media during Baba Ijesha’s rape case.
Mr Macaroni, who is also a human right activist, has now taken to Twitter to share his thought about the matter.
The Instagram comedian wondered why the association waited till after Baba Ijesha was granted bail before convening to suspend the actress.

After the fall out with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, the proud mother of one finally gave another shot at love and took to social media yesterday, June 27th to flaunt her new lover as she celebrates him on his birthday.
However, Shade in reaction stated that although she likes Tonto, but putting her new relationship on social media only shows she hasn’t learnt anything from her past relationship mishaps.
Taking to her Insta-stories to pen down words of advice to Tonto Dikeh, Shade urged her to try her best to keep her new relationship away from social media.
“I really like Tonto but ladies & Gents this constant seeking of validation online means that truly you haven’t learnt from your previous relationship mishap.
“I understand you’re expressive and wear your heart on your sleeve but foggosake keep your relationship away from social media.
