A Nigerian actor, Joseph Daniel has taken to the internet to show Nigerians how expensive things are abroad.

The man in a video which has now gone viral, held up a sandwich saying, “Nigeria bad, Nigeria bad, okay. See what I bought for €9, that is ₦16,000+ in Europe. Just this one, no coke, no water, nothing..”

Joseph Daniel said this to lament the inflation in Europe, while drawing up a comparison with the Nigerian currency.

To him, the latter is better than the former, thereby insinuating that Nigerians who bemoan the country’s recent economy and over-the-roof-inflation are either liars or ignorant.

She tried to keep her flexibility with the band, but she was trapped. She struggled to get her body detangled before having to admit her anxiety.

Emphasizing the need for women to take responsibility for their lives and have financial stability, the lady narrated how her mother, who was solely dependent on her father, suffered when the man turned away from her.

On her parents relationship she said,

The owner of the house had placed gothic images of gnarled witches and flying wizards on his porch, and this was what @akureman on Tiktok sees as he steps out early in the morning.

It was said to be that time for the celebration of Halloween–a holiday observed every year on October 31. It was believed that on that day, the souls of the dead returned to their homes, so people dressed in costumes and lit bonfires to ward off spirits.

A recent post by the Nigerian comedian and actor, Mr. Macaroni warns Nigerian parents to be mindful of the way they go about showcasing their children’s talents.

He pleaded with parents of ‘uniquely talented children‘ to display their children’s talent in a way that is appropriate to their respective ages.

Urging that parents eager as they are to help their children nurture their talents, should always put the children first, making sure to groom them properly.

In his words;

’Dear parents and guardians,

I understand the urge to want to make the most out of our uniquely talented children. 

I however strongly believe that we must apply caution while doing so.

We must showcase their talents in ways appropriate for their respective ages.

We must put our children first and groom them right.

That way, we can develop the durability and longevity of their talent as opposed to a short viral moment.

We owe them and our society that guidance.”

Man Shares The Seven Criteria A Lady Must Meet To Become His Second Wife, Approved By His Current Wife

A Nigerian man has posted an application for a second wife on Facebook, listing the 7 criteria he and his current wife decided upon.

These seven criteria are the qualities the lady must have if she wants to become his second. They include;

“1. Must be a virgin.

2. Must be between 25 and 26 years old.

3. Must be proficient in spoken and written Igbo and English.

4. Must own a personal house in Okpuno or Nkpoka Nnewichi-Nnewi.

5. Must not have any children.

6. Must not bear the surname Osigwe.

7. Must refrain from eating fish or any sea creatures.”

The man revealed in the post that he had asked for permission from his wife to marry another woman and she agreed. With her approval, they came up with a list of seven qualities that the lady had to have to qualify.

In his words;

“Some weeks back, my wife, Okala Ete, gave me the go-ahead to marry a second wife. In case you are wondering why I need her permission, the answer is simple: amalu kpa, ewe rahu na ute.”

Along with the list he announced that applications were open from 12 pm today and would close at 12 pm this night.

He said;

The heartwarming moment a mum couldn’t recognize her daughter who returned to Nigeria after 20 years in America has captured attention online.

After two decades of living in the United States, the lady returned to Nigeria for the first time to see her family and her mother’s reaction upon seeing her was quite emotional.

In the viral clip shared by @meeyah_clothings, the mother of the abroad returnee entered the sitting room while her daughter was sitting on the sofa, not realizing that she was the one in the living room.

The elderly woman continued to stare at daughter and afterward greeted her with a hug, despite her unawareness.

As soon as the lady was identified as her daughter, the old woman embraced her daughter with affection, displaying a tender mother-daughter moment.

There was a loud cry of joy and she began to roll about on the ground, thanking God for her daughter’s safe return.

Hostel Prayer Warriors Take Over the Neighbourhood at 6 am with Loud Prayers (WATCH)

Residents of a hostel were abruptly awakened at 6 a.m. by loud prayers from a group of prayer warriors, attracting attention from neighbouring compounds.

The online video showed a noisy prayer session with a female speaker praying and speaking in tongues echoing from a hostel room.

According to a tenant of the hostel @justpreciee, the loud prayer sessions have grown customary, particularly from 2 a.m. till daybreak. She claimed that everyone was shocked by the video clip, prompting their neighbours to investigate the cause of the noise.

She captioned,

“This happens every day at around 2 am till morning, but this day it was exceptional… now i get it, I’m not saying prayer isnt good, everyone prays but we make sure it doesn’t disturb others”

The loud morning prayers drew tenants from neighbouring homes, surprised by the early morning disturbance. Three ladies were seen impatiently waiting on the hostel balcony, agitated and enraged by the loud prayers.

@justpreciee mentioned that individuals can pray at their convenience time but putting others in distress through their loud prayers is cruel.

Internet users asked that loud music be played by a speaker at the doorstep of the prayer warriors to create drama between the hostel occupants and their neighbors.

Many people are against praying and making noise to annoy other people.

The widely shared video showed the harmony and togetherness that dominate the hostel as the male residents divided up the work while the lady cooked jollof rice, akin to a large gathering.

In the caption, her hostel mates were craving jollof rice, so she decided to showcase her culinary skills by cooking the meal for everyone after they contributed their resources.

Instead of using a gas cooker to cook the jollof rice, the men were shown in the video gathering firewood and getting water.

Thanks to the lady’s expertise, the men are shown holding and chowing down on a steaming plate of smoky jollof rice once it has finished cooking.

Some took their meals to go, but others’ meals were bundled in takeout packs to demonstrate that there was extra jollof rice because everyone in the hostel contributed in different ways.

The event has stirred hilarious remarks, with netizens claiming that her cooking skills have won the hearts of the men because she will be well respected in the hostel.

The Libyan Football Federation, LLF Thrǝatens To Suǝ The NFF Over The Super Eagle’s Withdrawal From AFCON Qualifier

The Libyan Football Federation, LFF has issued a statement condemning the actions of the Nigerian football team, the Super Eagles, who have currently withdrawn from playing the AFCON qualifier match against Libya which was scheduled for today, Tuesday, October 15th, 2024.

They have also threatened to take legal action following the incident, saying that it is their duty to protect the national team’s interest.

The Super Eagles had decided to boycott the match following their subpar treatment by the Libyan officials. The team had initially arrived in Libya to play the second leg of the qualifier match against the Libyan team but were left stranded for over 15+ hours without food, water, or a place to rest inside a Libyan airport.

They were finally able to leave Monday evening after the NFF sent a plane to pick them up following an outcry from Nigerians. And by leaving the country Libya, they had decided to boycott the match which was scheduled for the next day.

However, the LFF released a statement on Monday Night, October 14, accusing the NFF of failing to cooperate in organizing the match, even blaming the Nigerian Football Federation for causing the confusion that led to the current situation.

They claim that the Libyan team had also suffered from “incidents beyond control,” and had still played in the first leg, hence the Nigerian team had no excuse.

The statement read;

“The Libyan Football Federation condemns the measures taken by the Nigerian Football Federation by refusing to play the Libya-Nigeria match in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers scheduled for Tuesday, October 15, stressing that it will take all legal measures to preserve the interests of the Libyan national football team.”

“The Libyan Federation attaches some inhumane footage that did not prevent the Libyan mission from playing the Nigeria-Libya match last Friday in Nigeria, out of cooperation with the Confederation of African Football.

“The Libyan Football Federation clarifies that its Nigerian counterpart did not cooperate with it in any way, whether regarding the first or second leg match, noting that the events beyond our control do not equal a small part of what the Libyan national team was exposed to in the first leg match,” it said.

“The Libyan Football Federation apologises to Libyan football fans everywhere and to the parties concerned with the match arrangements due to the state of confusion caused by the Nigerian Football Federation, which led to the match not being held on time,” the statement concluded.
