Billionaire heiress and entertainer, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed her own definition of SEXY.

The disc jockey, who is known for dressing modestly, took to her Instagram page to state that her idea of sexy is “less is more”.

DJ Cuppy buttressed her point using Hollywood actress, Emma Watson’s famous quote, “the less you reveal, the more people can wonder”.

According to her, the less skin you reveal, the more curious people will become about your personality and other non-physical features.

Shade pointed out that people can’t go to a car mechanic when they have a heart problem, so it is not logical to go to actresses for skin-related issues as they are not professionals in that field.

The singer who made this revelation in a chat with HipTV noted that the public puts so much pressure on celebrities to do certain things. Sharing her personal experience, Seyi noted that that asides putting pressure on her to marry, her fans also pressure her to share more raunchy photos on social media.

According to the mother of one, she decided her to sell her son, Sekani Rich’s Instagram account to protect him from social media bullies.

Bridget who lamented over different bullies she’s had to face on social media revealed she wont be able to forgive herself if her son is ever subjected to same.

Villagers erect massive penis statue to bring forth rain

Villagers in Thailand’s Chachoengsao province, Yothaka, have erected a massive penis status to call forth rain and end the dry season.

Farmers in the community had been worried because it hadn’t been raining and water from the irrigation canals were too salty and was damaging their crops.

To end the period of drought, they erected a giant penis status, otherwise known as “Palad Khik”, on June 9.

The local village headman, Chamnan Kenthongdaeng, 52, revealed that two days after the giant penis was installed, rain showered for about half an hour on June 11.

Koson Samang, the headman of a nearby village, recorded a video of the rain as proof.

However, farmers complained that the rain didn’t fall long enough to irrigate their farms. So, Chaman promised that they will continue offering prayers to the statue.

Speaking in an interview with Pattaya News, Chaman revealed that the penis statue represents fertility and new growth. Adding that it has been a tradition for decades, dating to the time of his grandparents.

He said the giant penis, erected in the middle of the road, wouldn’t cause any traffic problems because it was built on a cul-de-sac.

“It will be removed as soon as the seasonal rain comes,” he promised.

Meanwhile, local residents have been encouraged to pray to the gigantic penis and leave small offerings.

Nollywood actor, Baba ijesha to be arraigned in court today

Embattled Nollywood actor, Baba Ijesha would be arraigned in court today, June 16th for the first time since his arrest over alleged child molestation.

Baba Ijesha who was recently granted bail on health grounds after several weeks of being in police detention for allegedly molesting comedian, Princess foster daughter would be arraigned at the Magistrate Court 1, Yaba by 9am today.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Team (DSVRT), has revealed it is actively following the case.

In a statement released on Friday, April 30th, DSVRT says it is following up on the case and has absolute confidence in the criminal justice system in the state.

The statement reads,

This is to inform members of the public that the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Team is actively following up on the Baba Ijesha’s case, we are also in direct contact with the complainant with a view to providing the necessary support.

We confirm that the duplicate case file has been forwarded to the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) for legal advice. For avoidance of doubt, the following allegations are being considered:

(1) Sexual Assault by Penetration- S 261 of the Criminal law of Lagos State, 2015 punishable by Life imprisonment

(2) Attempted Sexual Assault by Penetration-S262 of the Criminal law , punishable by 14 years imprisonment

(3) Sexual Assault- S263 of the Criminal Law, punishable by 3 years imprisonment

(4) Indecent treatment of a child- S135 of the Criminal Law punishable by 7 years imprisonment

We have absolute confidence in the criminal justice system, as well as social support structures in Lagos State in ensuring justice is served in this matter and most importantly, the survivor receives the relevant support on her journey towards healing.

We therefore use this medium to reiterate Lagos State Government’s position of zero tolerance to all forms of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence and our firm commitment in ensuring justice for survivors.

A final year student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, identified as Omotoke Suliyat reportedly slumped and died while taking her bath in the bathroom.

It was learnt that the deceased who was a Marketing student of the institution was rushed to Hope hospital, Adigbe following the incident and was confirmed dead on Sunday, June 13th.

The Speaker of Students’ Representative Council (SRC), Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Olatunji Mogaji, who confirmed the incident has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the student.

Friends and colleagues have taken to social media to mourn the Omotoke. A course mate of the deceased wrote, “Marketing DEPT just lost a soul”…

This coming after another final year foreign language student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, identified as Mariam Adeola was involved a fatal accident recently which claimed her life.

According to reports, the deceased was in the car with her boyfriend on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021, when the tragic incident happened.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has stated that Twitter’s founder, Jack Dorsey is liable for the losses Nigeria incurred during the EndSARS protest.

The minister, who said this on Tuesday when he appeared on “Politics Nationwide”, a Radio Nigeria call-in programme in Abuja, alleged that Jack raised funds through Bitcoins to sponsor the EndSARS protest while his platform, Twitter, was used to fuel the crisis.

Speaking further, he said it was unfair to conclude that the operation of Twitter was suspended in Nigeria because it deleted President Muhammadu Buhari’s tweet.

In his words,

“If you ask people to donate money via bitcoins for EndS ARS protesters then you are vicariously liable for whatever is the outcome of the protest.

We have forgotten that EndSARS led to the loss of lives, including 37 policemen, six soldiers, 57 civilians while property worth billions of naira were destroyed.

164 police vehicles and 134 police stations were razed to the ground, 265 private corporate organisation were looted while 243 public property were looted. 81 warehouses were looted while over 200 brand new buses bought by Lagos State Government were burnt to ashes.

“Twitter has become a platform of choice for a particular separatist promoter. The promoter consistently used the platform to direct his loyalists to kill Nigerian soldiers and policemen, run down INEC offices and destroy all symbols of Nigeria’s sovereignty. Nollywood Actress, Tonto Dikeh, has celebrated the late Ibidun Ituah-Ighodalo, in a very special way.

Yesterday, 14th June, 2021, marked the first year remembrance of the late beauty Queen, and Tonto Dikeh admitted she got to know Ibidun at her death.

However, her life’s mission inspired her to give 7 women IVF treatment to celebrate her legacy.

Ibidun Ajayi-Ighodalo, before her death, had a foundation that created awareness on issues about infertility and also financially helped couples who wanted the IVF method.

She shared the video and wrote ;

Actress, Toni Tones responds after a fan revealed she caught her husband sleeping with their houseboy

Nollywood actress, Toni Tones has advised a female fan to leave her husband with immediate alacrity after she shared a disturbing secret about her marriage.

The media personality stated this during a “#TellToniTones” session she held on her Instagram page recently, where she gives her followers the opportunity to share a secret with her.

In response, a female fan disclosed that her husband is in the habit of sleeping with their female househelps so she decided to employ a male househelp. However, it didn’t change anything as she caught her husband having sex with the houseboy.

The distraught wife also revealed that she has contracted many Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) from her husband, due to his promiscuity.

She wrote,

“Caught my husband sleeping with the houseboy. I stopped getting maids because he used to sleep with them, so many stds. Thought I would be safer with boys, never dreamt of this. Now I’m lost.”

Toni Tones replied saying, “Leave that man before he gives you something incurable sis”

Web designer names his son HTML in honour of his profession

Popular Philippines web designer, Mac Pascual has stirred reactions from netizens over the unusual name he gave his newborn baby.

The web developer who welcomed a baby with his partner last week named the baby, ‘Hypertext Mark-up Language Rayo Pascual or HTML’ for short.

It was gathered that the proud father chose the unusual name for his child in honour of his profession. Pascaul told local news site inquirer.net that uncommon names run in his family, explaining that his own name is short for Macaroni 85.

Sighting more instances, he revealed one of his sisters’ official names was Spaghetti 88 and claimed her two children are called Cheese Pimiento and Parmesan Cheese, though they go by Chippy and Peewee for short.

Meanwhile, his mum, Salie Rayo Pascual, told the website that she is delighted to welcome her child and said relatives were pleased with the choice of name.

HTML’s aunt, Sincerely Pascual – full name Sincerely Yours Pascual, shared a photo of the newborn on Facebook and captioned it, “Welcome to the world HTML”.

A fresh graduate of Imo State University (IMSU), Ndubuisi Geoffery, has vowed not to further his education after his expected years of study was extended by one year.

Ndubuisi, who is excited to have finally completed his University education, took to his Instagram page to share pictures from his sign-out day.

The text, “If I do Masters, make I bend” was boldly written on his white shirt.

He captioned the post,

“I studied a four years course for five years, it can only happen in Nigeria.. Thank God, I’m out of Imo Stress University.”
