It’s indeed a joyful moment for a Nigerian couple as they welcome a set of twins after 21 years of marriage.

The proud father of two, Justice Ondaipe and his wife welcomed the set of twins, a boy and a girl after several years of waiting.

A close relative identified as, Faith Elvis Ovie on Facebook, shared the good news on the platform alongside photos of the couple and their twin babies.

“Congratulations uncle, God is indeed wonderful. After 21 years of marriage God have put a smile on ur face. God even doubled it. Twins, a boy and a girl.” Faith captioned her post.

In other news, a Nigerian couple are celebrating the first birthday of their twin girls who came into this world, 17 years after their first child.

The twins named Emmanuella and Daniella recently celebrated their first birthday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

A photographer, who shared photos from the birthday party on Wednesday, June 2, said the couple’s first child is already in the university.

He wrote ;

“The story of this family is so unique. She had to wait for 17 years before having them. Her first child is already in the university.

23-year-old Nigerian man, Echezonachukwu O. Obianefo has been arrested for allegedly stealing a Rolls Royce Cullinan, which is worth about $300,000.

According to reports, Obianefo, who is the manager of Osita Links and Logistics Group LLC, is being held in the Harris County Jail in Houston, Texas, and his bail was set at $50,000.

Conandaily.com reports that the owner of the Rolls Royce (name withheld) is a resident of Florida, USA. However, it is unclear if the vehicle was stolen in Houston or Florida.

The date of the alleged crime was also not disclosed by the Harris County District Attorney’s office.

The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the first sport-utility vehicle produced by luxury automobile maker Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, based in Goodwood, West Sussex, England, United Kingdom. It is also the brand’s first all-wheel-drive vehicle.

According to a statement released by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the survivor personally reported the case at Ipakodo Police Station, Ikorodu on the 7th June, 2021, after her horrible ordeal in the hands of her father and the Police operatives arrested the suspect.

CSP Olumuyiwa said the commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the act and ordered that the case be transferred to the Gender Unit of the Command for further investigation.

In an hilarious video now serving rounds online, Isreal was captured screaming and ringing a bell as he told whoever cared to listen that the DMW boss is extremely rich.

This is coming weeks after the logistics manager was shamed on social media for allegedly not owning a car.

Israel was recently spotted jumping bikes in the Ekpoma area of Edo state. In the video making rounds online, he was captured walking on foot before he eventually hopped on a bike.

The viral video was greeted with mixed reactions after it hit the internet and Israel was dragged for not being able to afford a car, despite working for Davido.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Omashola Kola Oburoh has recounted how he saved himself during a recent robbery attack in South Africa.

According to the reality star he was about to enter his car to head home, when two armed men stopped him to rob him off his valuables. He revealed that to save himself he punched one of them and this led to a struggle between them.

Reflecting on the incident, Omashola noted that he now realized that what he did was dangerous because the men were armed. Although the men couldn’t steal anything from him, his phones were damaged beyond repair as a result of the fight.

Narrating the incident, he wrote,

“Weeks back I was about to enter my car and head home when 2 guys stopped me and tried to rob me, I told myself to save yourself because I can’t save you. So I punched one of the guys in the face and the rest was history 👊🏽👊🏽.

A female corps member has taken to social media to drag her colleagues who frolic and flirt around guys because of food.

According to the lady who just completed the compulsory three weeks NYSC orientation camp, majority of the ladies at the program flirt and were clingy to men they have just met to get regular sponsors for their food.

She revealed the ladies would usually rejoice in their hostels because they never bought meals with their money at the eateries all through their stay at the orientation camp, as the male corps members usually sponsored their meals.

Newlywed Johannesburg couple, Zaheer Sarang and Nabeelah Khan were reportedly electrocuted to death on Sunday June 13th, a day after they returned home from their honeymoon.

It was gathered that the bride was electrocuted after touching a tap in the shower and her husband was electrocuted when he tried to help her.

Johannesburg police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo who confirmed the incident said the couple’s bodies were found in the shower on Sunday afternoon.

“It is suspected that the couple were electrocuted. Police are still waiting for the post-mortem results that will confirm the cause of death.”He said.

According to a community activist, Aziz Ally, power outages and illegal connections were a big problem in the area, noting that illegal connections were put up in “broad daylight”.

In his words,

“The problem is that there are many other residents from Homestead Park, Mayfair South that are also experiencing this shocking when they touch the taps at their house. It does seem to be a bigger problem in terms of what is going on.”

Friends and families has since taken to social media to mourn the couple. A Facebook user, Mehreen Mia Cassimjee wrote,

A Twitter user with handle, @AdedoyinGabriel has had the sympathy of a lot of users after he took to the social networking platform to narrate an unfortunate incident that happened to him.

According to the gentleman, his car which is barely a year old since he purchased it was stolen in broad daylight in the Federal Capital Territory, in front of Utako Market.

Adedoyin while sharing his story, revealed how he’s been left heartbroken over the grand theft auto. He says the car was stolen alongside other valuables such as his laptop and tablet that were inside the vehicle.

Nigerian Reality star, TBoss Idowu, recently marked her father’s post-humus birthday, and she gave some insight on her relationship with him.

She described him as a “difficult man” who was also very principled and this annoyed everybody. According to her post, he gave his kids “sense by fire by force”.

TB Joshua’s funeral arrangements announced as his church reveals he will be buried in the church premises

The T.B Joshua Ministries has announced details of his funeral arrangement.

According to the statement, a week-long service of songs will be held from Monday, July 5 to July 11. The Church also revealed that he will be buried at the premises of the Synagogue Church of All Nations Church in Lagos.

Late Ibidun’s family and friends gathered at the Trinity House in Lagos earlier today for a memorial service in her honor.

Zambia President, Edgar Lungu collapsed during a national defence day event in Lusaka on Sunday, June 13th, 2021.

It was gathered that the president suffered “sudden dizziness” but recovered immediately at the 45th Defense Forces Day Commemoration and Investiture ceremony.

The Private Secretary to the Zambia President, Simon Miti who confirmed the incident in a statement assured the public that the president “is well and has continued to discharge his duties”.

The statement reads,

Nigerian Billionaire Businessman, Ned Nwoko has said he is in support of President Muhammadu Buhari’s ban on Twitter.

Nwoko gave the announcement while speaking at a June 12 lecture organized by the Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Abuja Council.

According to him,

“On the current issue with Twitter in Nigeria, I wholeheartedly support the position of the Federal Government.

There should be a measure of control and regulation for social media in countries where they have a presence.”

Emphasizing on his support of the Twitter ban in Nigeria, Nwoko stressed that the social media platforms must pay taxes to governments and provide employment for some Nigerians for the over 100 million population that subscribed to their services.

A photo of a Turkey-based Nigerian man, identified as Obiora Kingsley Anaedo, was allegedly found inside a bottle buried in front of his uncompleted building.

Obiora reportedly moved to Turkey 9 years ago but couldn’t complete his building project for years.

However during a deliverance service, an Enugu-based pastor revealed that a family member buried an old picture of the young man in a bottle to impede his progress.

The pastor and Obiora’s family members marched down to the building site, exhumed the buried bottle and burnt it.

“Yesterday Monday I went to a family deliverance breakthrough in Orlu Imo State. During the prayer, a revelation was said of “Obiora Kingsley Anaedo” who happened to be in Turkey for 9years now.

A lady has cried out on social media over the scuffle that ensued between herself and her spouse because she ordered her child to search his pockets for money when he left for work.

The lady, sharing her ordeal, disclosed that her husband finds it difficult to give her money to carry out some basic tasks at home, but rather prefers buying the household items himself.

She wrote in part,

“Pls I have a problem with my husband, he is good at not giving me money to cook, he will like to buy things, so when I quarrel, he stopped giving me money for food. So I told my eldest child to search his pockets when he left for work cos I am a stay at home mother, doctor said I should not stress after my second child so I do nothing again.”
