Friends of UNICROSS student, Priscilla Ojong stage protest walk; insist she is being held by unknown persons
Friends and colleagues of 22-year old Mass Communication student of the Cross River University of Technology, Priscilla Ojong, staged a protest earlier today as they insist that she is still being held by unknown persons.
This comes after the report that family members and friends raised an alarm that Priscilla has been missing for three weeks and some days after she allegedly left Calabar for Lagos to see a male friend.
On Friday May 14, Priscilla shared a video on her Instagram page insisting she isn’t kidnapped, stating that her phone got damaged which is why she has been unavailable for a while.
While her family members feel the video was made under duress, because she’s yet to contact anyone of them either physically or via the phone, they are seeking help from the general public and the police for her recovery.
Her friends and colleagues who as well, believe that she’s being held against her will and was forced to make the video, staged a protest earlier today.

“My son should face death penalty for Iniubong’s murder” – Uduak’s father (Video)
The father of suspected serial rapist and killer, Uduak Akpan who confessed to killing job seeker Iniubong Umoren in Akwa Ibom State, Frank Akpan has said his son should face the full wrath of the law and if the penalty for his crime is death, then so be it.
Iniubong Umoren was a 25 year old undergraduate lady who was lured, raped and eventually killed for a phony job offer by Uduak. Following his arrest, Uduak has confessed to the crime and has said he was ready to die if found guilty.
Uduak and his father were paraded by Akwa Ibom Police Command on Friday, May 14, 2021. Speaking to journalists, Uduak’s father stated that he was disappointed with his son.
He also said that he is ready to accept whatever penalty the law decides to punish his son with, even if it’s death.
In his words;
“I have never believed such a thing could happen to me because I brought these children up in a righteous way. The police stormed my house in search of Uduak but didn’t see him. I was invited to come and answer some questions at the police station and when I got to the station, I was asked to call him.
“When he came back to Akwa Ibom, I was allowed to interact with him and that was when he told me that he committed an offence. I was disappointed; I scolded him and asked why he committed such a crime knowing fully well he has two sisters that are equally students and are both in school.
“I felt bad because I know they are women too, and I wouldn’t want such fate to befall them too.”
“The fact that the house is always locked and abandoned is not true because we have a borehole in there and all the residents around there come to fetch water from our compound.
“It’s just unfortunate that this had to happen. I never knew that this is what he does and I’m not in any way involved in this particular act.
“I was never aware of his previous acts because I haven’t fully been with them. We just relocated from Abuja and I also retired because I was a government worker. I haven’t been around for close to 30 years now.
“I’m not happy about what my child has done. I don’t even believe this can happen to me after all the years of toiling to send them to school and ensure they get the best. It depends on the system and if they say the penalty for his crime is death, then he should face the full wrath of the law”.

Couple arrested for starving a 12-year-old girl for eight months in Sokoto (photos)
The Sokoto Police Command has rescued a 12-year-old girl, Joy Emmanuel, from solitary confinement of eight months.
The girl was said to have been caged for that period by her guardians identified as Emmanuel Basey and his wife Esther Emmanuel at the Sokoto Cinema area in Sokoto North Local Government Area.
Joy was also said to have been starved.
It was gathered that the couple claimed “she is mentally unstable” but were later proven otherwise by the police.
The spokesman for the Sokoto State Police Command, Sanusi Abubakar, said the girl was rescued on Thursday while the suspects were arrested and detained at the Dadin Kowa police station.
“They kept the girl in a cage at their compound and starved her of food for eight months.
“When our men broke the door of the cage, the girl was too frail to walk because she was emaciated.
“We met her in a very horrible situation, urinating and excreting inside the cage.
“The girl was taken to the specialist’s hospital for treatment,” he said told Daily Trust.
He said that both the victim and the suspects would be handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Person and other Related Matters for further action.

The Ghost and Tout, which was released in May of 2018, features Isila (Toyin Abraham), a young woman from the ghetto, that encounters a ghost called Mike in need of her assistance to communicate with the people he left behind. She becomes tangled and puzzled in solving a murder mystery.
The sequel features Mercy Johnson as Toyin’s new partner (in crime?), her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, Osas Ighodaro and other stars.

The spate of crime is on a steady increase, and it is quite scary because can only pray for luck in these circumstances.

Omo i just escaped from kidnappers with alot of bruises. Home now and I’m just catching my breath.
Let me first and foremost say, i don’t do late nights and i was out late cos a plan got canceled on me and i had to get home by all means.
So, i entered a Micra from eleyele heading to sango in ibadan. Anyone familiar with them knows its 2 in the front and 3 at the back.
I usually go for bikes but I had no choice than to enter the cab as there were no bikes available at the time.
I entered the cab and met a woman at the back and two were already sitting at the front. The driver was looking for the last passenger and i just told him to go that I’ll pay the remaining one. I wasn’t my usual observant self before entering the cab cos if not i would have probably noticed something wasn’t right. But i became uncomfortable and alert almost immediately he left eleyele, we haven’t moved far around that heritage bank, i don’t know What spirit possessed me to start arguing with them that why are we just only women by that time, that i wasn’t comfortable and that i wanted to get down, the women started shouting that its late and the driver couldn’t stop at that spot bla bla bla and why am i causing problems when we’re all women and bla bla bla, at this point i wasn’t even alarmed atall, i was just uncomfortable and scared knowing how the country is.
I just wanted to get to sango, we hadn’t moved from that heritage bank to before oluseyi when the driver stopped and the two women sitting in the front came down!, now at that point i knew I’d already entered one chance cos those women never asked the driver to stop!, never said their bus stop and the two of them alighted together! As the driver moved i began to argue with them.
I don’t know where i got the confidence, i just told them that i know what’s up that they should let me go if they don’t want me to shout or make a scene on the express, the driver replied and asked where and i said immediately and he parked and collected double, i didn’t even argue or anything, just paid. At that point I was just scared shitless and i was very afraid and paranoid , where they dropped me, i just crossed to the other side, (only if I had known) when i alighted, there wasn’t any moving car on the other side of the road. So i almost immediately crossed to the other side of the road cos at that point all manners of survival whatever was all i was thinking and i felt crossing was safer, as soon as i crossed a Micra just came on few feet from me and instead of going straight It just turned into one untarred road there and i saw some guy pointing something from the moving Micra hoping to force me in, omo i didn’t know how i flew from that road to inside gutter and how i ran inside that gutter, came out and still almost didn’t escape them If not for God and my sisters call and the fact that i didn’t let go of my phone when my things were falling while running in the gutter. That eleyele sango road is not a safe one, pls be careful out there, be vigilant and observant. It’s a crazy world out there.

Police officer returns sum of N1.2m discovered at an accident scene
A Nigerian police officer, Sergeant Kabiru Isah with a heart of gold, who is attached to the Command’s Motor Traffic Division (MTD) in Kano, has honorably returned the sum of N1,294,200.00 found at a scene of a fatal accident.
Accoding to reports, the officer discovered the money while he was conducting scene analysis minutes after the accident. The command’s spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa stated that the victim of the accident was knocked down to death by a trailer along Zaria road, kano and was in possession of the said amount of money arranged in a shoebox.
The money was returned to the victim’s family. Overwhelmed with the behaviour displayed by the police officer, the Managing Director, Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) Dr Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, rewarded the officer with N100K.

As can be seen in the conversation, the man who is begging, shares with the other man how he has invested so much in the said lady because she means a lot to him, and it would be disheartening if she were to leave him.

Man kills pregnant girlfriend, newborn, dumps bodies in sewage in Bauchi
The Bauchi State Police Command have apprehended a 34-year-old man, Lamido Gunduma, for allegedly killing his pregnant girlfriend and their baby in Jamaare Local Government Area of the state.
The Spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, May 14, revealed that the suspect conspired with his friend to abort the girlfriend’s pregnancy which led to her death.
“On 07/04/2021 at about 1200hrs one Saidu Iliyasu of Zubuki area Jamaare L.G.A, Bauchi came to Jamaare Divisional Headquarters and reported that on the 5/04/2021 his daughter, one Jamila Saidu 35yrs of the same address was declared missing following which a search party was organized, but to no avail,” Wakil stated.
“On the 08/04/2021 at about 1030hrs, her decomposed body was discovered with a new born child in a Sewage at her boyfriends house identified as Lamido Gunduma at unguwar Yari-mari Jamaare,”
“During preliminary investigation, it was discovered that the above suspect criminally conspired with one Ishaq Abdullahi aged 34yrs of the same address and fixed a canola into the arm of the said Jamila Saidu and administered her with dextrose water, Quinine and ostagen in order to abort her pregnancy which culminated into an induced labour that resulted to the death of the victim and new born baby,”
“The suspect then deposited the corpses in the sewage system within his compound and fled to Kwadon in Gombe state where he was tracked and arrested. He has been charged to court for prosecution accordingly.”

Nigerian gospel singer, Chidinma Ekile has stated that her decision to be born-again was ordained by God.

“Baba Ijesha Had An Affair With Princess” – Yomi Fabiyi Alleges
Nigerian actor, Yomi Fabiyi has made startling revelations concerning the case of Baba Ijesha who was alleged to have sexually assaulted the 14-year-old foster daughter of comedienne, Princess.
He made the statement amidst reports that Baba Ijesha sexually molested the daughter of Princess.
Yomi Fabiyi who has been outspoken on the saga said the actor as opened up on the conversation he had with Baba Ijesha during his recent visit to him in Panti prison.
In a chat with City People, the actor claimed that Baba Ijesha told him of how he had an affair with Princess when their spouses left them.
Yomi Fabiyi, the actor who is taking a lot of heat from the Baba Ijesha and Princess rape saga right now, has opened up on the conversation he had with Baba Ijesha during his recent visit to him in Panti prison.
In a chat with City People, the actor claimed that Baba Ijesha told him of how he had an affair with Princess Comedian when their spouses left them.
“I noticed he was trying to dodge it. I don’t lie and your secret is safe with me. But I will tell you what he told me. He said Yomi, I had marital problem the same time she had hers (Princess), and we became closer. She had helped me with admission. And I asked again that, were you guys having sex?
But he replied that Yomi, we became close! But I still think he deserves to be granted bail. No one has the right to hold anyone beyond the statutory law. If you want to hold anyone beyond 48 hours, you have to approach the court with enough evidence as to why the person should not be released.”
Speaking further, Yomi Fabiyi said “I went there and I said Baba (Ijesha), I need to speak with you. And it’s not that we are close; he doesn’t know where I live. He hasn’t appeared in my movies for 18 years since I have been producing movies. But I must not act otherwise because he’s my colleague in the industry.
So, I told them at the police station that I needed to see him and they brought him out. He said Yomi and I said, sir! I said I want you to tell me in all honesty, did you rape the young girl? Because I was already having images in my head and I don’t want to believe he’s the one.
And I asked him to tell me; did you rape the girl? And he said, Yomi, there was never a time I raped this lady! And this lady never said I raped her. But the Police said you confessed to the crime and the statement from the police reads Baba Ijesha rape allegation. What is in the video and what did you confess you did then? He said Yomi, they showed me the CCTV and they came in started battering, torturing me.
But I know what I did was not right and I said to him, did you touch the girl; a 14-year-old girl? And he said I don’t even know her age. I know I touched the girl. I kissed her hand. I told him not to say anything again because I felt he might be dodging some things and I requested the video but I was denied.
But I told him if he did what people have been saying, I would be so disappointed in him. And he told me he needed a lawyer and I also asked if anybody has visited him from the industry. He told him only one person came and she came on the instruction of the TAMPAN President to ask for the situation of things. After then I gave him some money.
But because I was there (I went to see Baba Ijesha), they thought I went to tell the police another thing or something else happened when I visited him. Is it wrong for a colleague to show moral support to a colleague and wants to know the true account? I will never forsake anybody that I know is good in time of trouble. I asked him and he told me that he’s not a paedophile. This girl looks like an adult to me, Yomi.”
In the video that was released by Princess, she said the girl was raped 7 years ago and that Baba Ijesha didn’t have sex with her then that he only inserted key into her private part. So I said is that what made the girl misbehave in school? It’s not correlating. That was when I began to say maybe somebody is trying to bring someone down.
First, on no account should anybody use a child set up anybody. This is the child you said has been molested and now you were able to convince an innocent child to submit her body for another molestation? If I know you are a sex predator, a Paedophile, I should use the last breathe in me to ensure that you do not touch that child.
Because what happened in the video is like telling that girl to release her body to be molested. That he would put his finger into you, please don’t worry I’m videoing it. He would fondle your breasts, endure it. That’s what I saw in the video. That’s too bad. I’m not surprised at all.
A lot of Nigerians are on social media when they should be in the Library. The first mistake of Princess was to involve the girl in the investigation. I’m not saying don’t confront Baba Ijesha.
The deed has been done 7 years ago and the most experienced investigator can’t unravel what happened 7 years ago. What happened today can never be connected to 7 years ago. It’s vendetta. You speak the truth you die, you don’t speak the truth you vanish. That’s why I always tell people to control their anger. It’s a premeditated crime.
You brainwashed the girl. The girl could say I don’t want to do this but if she talks too much she could be starved. No child should be made to go through that type of thing in Nigeria.
From the CCTV I watched also, how can the video end when Baba Ijesha was touching the girl? Who controlled the CCTV? So it’s been doctored. Why didn’t CCTV capture when people rushed in?”
Yomi Fabiyi recently alongside others stormed Panti police station to protest over the detention of the embattled actor, who was accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl.
During the protest, Fabiyi, and other protesters marched from Casino Bus Stop to Panti Police Station on Wednesday.
They demanded that Baba Ijesha should be released from detention pending when a court would hear his case.
Fabiyi, who has been supportive of Baba Ijesha, described the continuous detention of Baba Ijesha as “illegal”.

A young girl has been reported missing!
Family and friends are seeking the public’s help in locating 22-year-old Katherine Isaiah, who went missing since she travelled to Warri, Delta State.
It was gathered that Katherine also known as Fegor, left Oleh in lsoko South L.G.A of Delta State, where she resides, to Warri on Thursday, May 6, to visit her boyfriend identified simply as Klever.
Her family have since not heard from Katherine, who works with KEDI Healthcare as a distributor and also sells clothes onlin.

Iniubong Umoren: “I would have also been a victim” – Another Lady shares her facebook chat with Frank Uduak ; He tried to invite her with a Job Offer.
Iniubong Umoren was killed after she went in search of a job.
She was killed by a certain Frank Uduak Akpan, and although he has been arrested, he claimed he killed her in self-defence.
However, another lady on Facebook has released her last conversation with Uduak, and we can see that he also offered this lady a Job on “his farm”.
The timestamp on the conversation dates back to December 2020, thankfully, the girl identified as Mirriam Bassey seemingly did not accept the Job offer, and one might feel she’d have easily become one of his reported victims.

Family members claim Cross River Vasrsity student, Priscilla is still missing; says she made video update under duress
In a new development following the report of a missing 22-year-old female student of the Cross River University of Technology, Priscilla Ojong, her family members have said they are yet to get through to her or see her.
Priscilla was in the early hours of today, declared missing after she reportedly left Calabar for Lagos, three weeks ago to see a male friend of hers… the news made the rounds on social media with a lot of people creating awareness of her absence.
However, on her Instagram page some hours ago, the young lady posted a video of herself to dispel the rumours of her being missing with the caption,

Upon seeing this update, some close relations of the young lady reached out to us to say they are yet to see Priscilla or hear from her and they think the video she made was done under duress.
A close relation of hers who was able to speak with us revealed the process they have and are going through to facilitate her recovery.
According to them, Priscilla left for Lagos on the 20th of April — they confirmed this after a close friend of hers notified them of the transportation company she used. The transportation company was able to provide a manifest of the passengers that traveled that day and Priscilla’s name was among the list. This potentially verifies the earlier report where one of Priscilla’s friends said she received a call from Priscilla informing her that she had arrived Lagos safely and will be staying over for just the weekend.
This close relation shared that earlier today, around the time Priscilla was giving updates on her social media page, Priscilla spoke with one of her friend who she told that she’s fine and will be returning to Calabar tomorrow, as opposed to what she said in her video, that she currently is in Calabar.
As earlier reported, after the police were contacted concerning Priscilla’s missing case they’ve swung into action and have taken the necessary steps into investigation.

Frank Uduak Akpan, the young man who stands accused of the gruesome murder of Calabar Job-seeker, Iniubong Umoren, has revealed that he killed her in self-defense.
Frank, in his not-so-convincing side of the story, said Ini attacked him and he defended himself by hitting her, and the blow led to her death.
In his words;
I invited Iniubong Umoren for a job and I asked her whether she can work in a farm as secretary. I told her that I wanted to sleep with her first. She agreed on a condition that I will use condom which I also agreed to.
She became furious when I started removing the condom, and she attacked me. I was bleeding so I needed to defend myself by hitting her which lead to her death.

Kenyan man beaten up by locals for allegedly molesting a school girl after he offered her a ride home (video)
An unidentified Kenyan man was beaten mercilessly by angry locals after a school girl accused him of sexually molesting her.
According to reports, the man offered two female high-school students a ride home from school. He reportedly dropped one of the students at her destination, then continued the ride with the second student.
Instead of taking the girl home, he reportedly took her into the bush in a lone area in the Ngecha area of Limuru, Kenya, and allegedly defiled her.
After the incident, he reportedly continued the ride with the school girl and she raised an alarm when she saw some locals.
They gathered and dealt with him mercilessly before he was handed over to the police.

Train firm apologises to ‘non-binary’ passenger after he took offence at conductor’s ‘ladies and gentlemen’ announcement
A train company has apologized after a conductor was accused of excluding a “non-binary” passenger with his “Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” announcement.
The passenger, identified as Laurence Coles, had taken to Twitter to call out the train company for not being inclusive of his sexuality. According to him, he felt offended with the announcement because he doesn’t identify as either male or female.
“‘Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls…’ so as a non-binary person this announcement doesn’t actually apply to me so I won’t listen”, he tweeted.
Laurence’s friend, Charlotte Monroe (28), who identifies as “non-binary” as well, also reached out to the company, saying,
“I sat with Laurence when this tweet was sent. Both of us are non-binary, and we were both alarmed and uncomfortable by the lack of inclusion.”
In response to the complaints, the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) tendered a public apology on Twitter.
LNER tweeted,
“I’m really sorry to see this, Laurence, our Train Managers should not be using language like this, and I thank you for bringing it to my attention.
“Please could you let me know which service you are on and I will ensure they remain as inclusive as we strive to be at LNER.
“We’ve been working very hard with educating our people on why gender specific pronouns are not suitable in instances like these, and we’re sorry to see this has not been applied here.
“It is entirely valid for someone who does not identify with the terms used to feel excluded and as a business we do not accept that anyone should feel excluded.”

However, the apology has been met with mixed reactions as some passengers condemned the train company.
Jay Beecher said, “My Dad was a train driver. If someone ‘non-binary’ tried kicking off at him over a tannoy announcement addressing passengers as ‘ladies and gentlemen’, I’m sure he’d have rightly told them to identify as a car and drive themselves the f*ck home.”

The singer has finally met the little girl and he took to his Instagram page to share a video clip of their moments together.
In the video, Naira Marley sat on a chair while the girl thrilled him with some dance moves as the people around joyfully hailed her.
The “Coming” hitmaker was obviously impressed with the girl as he held his head in shock at a point when she did a trending dance move.

The 22-year old female student of the Cross River University of Technology, identified as Priscilla Ojong, who was earlier declared missing after she allegedly left Calabar for Lagos three weeks ago, has in a new development, made a video of herself to show that she isn’t missing.
It was earlier reported in a viral report that Priscilla who is in her third year at the university reportedly went missing after she supposedly travelled from Calabar to Lagos State three weeks ago on the invitation of a male friend.
In the new video that she made Priscilla shared that the reason why people raised alarm on her whereabout was because she has been offline due to a damaged mobile phone.
According to her, her phone got damaged and the process of getting a new one made her unavailable online which caused panic amongst the people who know her, making them declare her missing.

Woman who received $50,000 scholarship in Drake’s ‘God’s Plan’ video celebrate as she’s set to bag her Master’s Degree
A young lady who received a $50,000 scholarship from Canadian rapper and singer, Drake in 2018, is about to obtain her master’s degree.
Drake visited the University of Miami in 2018 and donated a $50,000 scholarship to undergraduate student, Destiny Paris James, who later featured in his “God’s Plan” music video.
The rapper presented the South Carolina lady the cheque of $50,000 in the music video to help complete her education.
Destiny who is now 23-years-old graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2019 from the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill. She then proceeded for her Master’s at the same University, where she will be obtaining her Masters degree in few days.
The excited lady took to Instagram to share the good news and a Drake who’s proud of her achievements reacted.
“Mama, I mastered it. Daddy, I did it,” Destiny, whose father died of cancer just as she completed her freshman year in Miami, wrote on Instagram. “4 days until I am officially UNC Alum.” She captioned her post.

Husband left heartbroken after catching wife with another man one month after marriage
A newly-wedded man faced a heartbreak after he caught his wife cheating on him with another man at a hotel.
A Twitter user @Ogalasun who shared the story on the social networking app, shared how the man was driving to his friends place when he spotted his wife’s SUV in a car park.
The said man then stormed the hotel where her car was parked and found her with the man. According to @Ogalasun, the marriage is only one month old.
He wrote,
”I heard a story today and I low-key wept for the guy. Husband caught wife red-handed in an hotel with a strange man.
The husband was driving to his friends place when he spotted the wife’s SUV. The marriage is just 1month old. Why be say na nice guys dey end up heartbroken?”
